Quoted $100 for a one time mow of a small residential yard. Absolutely outrageous!!
Last year this company was amazing with never a problem. This year has been a 180 degree turn. Both mowing and weed eating were sloppy, leaving chunks of uncut grass in the yard every time. They would mow it as long as possible so that it needed to be mowed again 3-4 days later, taking more money. They did not leaf blow the extra grass out of the landscaping even though I requested it. They did not show up on the days they indicated they would arrive with no communication. I often had to go out for an hour to clean up areas they missed and redo and complete weed eating. This defeats the purpose of paying to have it done. They forget to show up, and your grass becomes like a jungle, yet they never forget to bill you! I walked the areas with them and sent photos, yet they can’t seem to see it on their own. I wasted a lot of time and money with this company.
I have used this company before for mowing and they were great. Used them recently for a one time mow and was not happy with the results. My yard still looked the same after they came out. I contacted them and they asked for pictures. The response I got was not what I expected. She said she could sort of tell along the fence line line that it had been mowed and then offered another service (not mowing, something about seeding). Never using this company again. They were once a great company but not anymore.
I have been using this service for basic lawn mowing all year, and I haven't had a problem with them. I drive a truck, so I'm gone all week, and don't get a lot of time off. As far as I know they've never missed a mowing, other than for rain, and as soon as it dried up my yard would get cut. They send out emails when there's going to be a delay which I really like. The staff has always been super friendly when I call in to pay my invoice, and the one or two times I have somehow bumped into them while they were out mowing. I recommend them.
I was quite happy they responded in such a timely manner. My new home had a few lawn issues and they took care of them quickly. I was also pleasantly surprised that my yardcare was lead by an outgoing lady. I would highly suggest this company. In terms of cost, it was worth it 100%. Sorry to people asking for a rate comparison... most everyone else ignored my call or wouldn't give me the time of day without an actual appointment.
We reached out to the Mow-It-Alls to do some hardscaping and drainage corrections in our backyard. They were very quick to respond to my inquiry, setting an appointment, and giving me an estimate on labor and cost. The crew that came out was extremely polite and would ask us questions if there was a concern that came up doing the work vs just deciding what should be done an hoping we were okay with it.
If I could rate this company as a “zero,” I would definitely do so. I was in the process of growing new grass and they kept trampling on it. Most recently, they tried to mow when it was obviously too wet (it poured the night before) and gouged holes in my yard and tore up/trampled parts of the new grass I had been growing. They then came out to “fix” their mistake after I had already fixed it and they ended up spreading straw on top of what I had already done. I had to go back and remove that straw. They also threw seed all over my yard without securing it. Its to wash away the next time it rains. One mistake was enough, but me having to go back and fix their “handiwork” a second time was absolutely infuriating. As if all that weren’t enough, they left the rusty wires from the straw in my yard too. IF THIS COMPANY HASNT ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED, THEY ARE FIRED EFFECTIVE TODAY. EDIT: (response to owner) I was a customer of this company. Ten months ago. I’m still thankful I broke up with them. If you are looking for competent lawn care, I recommend Poehlmanns. Definitely not these turkeys.
Mow-It-Alls has great and professional services. They do an excellent job maintaining current clients. They're able to accommodate various lawn and landscaping needs, and can even help with bugs that pester outdoor activities. Even in a short notice they can help! Great prices and even better service.

There snow removal service is a joke
We had Cameron and Braydens crews do several jobs on our property. Solid crew and great value. I would highly recommend!
Mow It Alls was hired to do snow removal at my church. The day after a snowfall we reported that the snow was piled around the dumpster and asked for it to be fixed. A couple hours later we found that they had also missed an entire row of parking spaces, including all the handicapped parking spaces. I asked them to fix that. It did not snow any more. The next evening I went to see what had been done. The parking lot and drop-off driveway were still unplowed. The snow was still piled around the dumpster. The next day I reported it to them and asked it to be done correctly. Finally, a clear lot! Then the bill came, charging for 3 complete treatments, including salt. We reached out to explain that two times were to correct errors. They kindly knocked a small amount off. Once again we told them that two of the treatments were to complete unfinished work. They took another very small amount off. We paid and will be finding a new company next fall.
We had some bad experiences with other local lawn care companies but Mow-it-Alls took excellent care of our yard. Employees are very responsive and do the job right THE FIRST TIME. Also not very expensive compared to other lawn care business. Id give 6 stars if I could!

I was out of town this past fall and could not find any one to take care of my yard. Mow it alls answered my call the first time and sent someone out the next day to take care of my property. It was refreshing not having to worry about it and I was able to come home to a groomed property! Phillip Boyer is the one that takes care of my property now and he is the best maintenance worker in Columbia!!!

Where do I begin? Hands down the best service company that I ve had the pleasure of dealing with. Our grandmother is the only family member that still lives in Columbia and she is unable to keep up with her oversized lawn. After a couple of days of searching I got in touch with Mow-It-Alls and I was impressed with their professionalism from the beginning. They understood my situation and were very personable. We set up an arrangement and ever since my grandmother and I have been pleased with their services(top notch). We had them come out and do a large landscaping job: remove some plants, weed and mulch all the beds, complete a retaining wall, 2 paver patios, and a drainage solution. They were professional, clean, and completed the work efficiently and with care. We are very pleased with the new back yard!

while they are professional, the quality of their work is bad. they did my weed pre and post this year and now I have more crab grass than real grass. which was not the case last year
