I am extremely disappointed with Elite. After signing a contract and paying a significant deposit, their service was subpar at best. They agreed to service our lawn after an in person consultation, but they failed to deliver consistently. The biggest issue was their complete lack of professionalism and honesty. After only one and a half months of inconsistent service, they refused to refund my deposit. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, they have been unresponsive and dismissive. I strongly advise against using Elite Lawn & Landscaping. Their poor service and unethical business practices are unacceptable. Hiding behind a logo is unbecoming at best. **Update** Elite called and emailed me only after I posted my reviews on Google and Yelp. I waited a week to hear back from an owner about the refund but did not receive a response before leaving my reviews. I stand by my original post and would not recommend this company. Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

I needed some pavers reset that had been pushed up by tree roots, and Rapheal did a great job, and for 1/3 of the price I had been quoted by another company. The owner David even came by to check on the work and answered my questions. Ill be using them again soon to do some additional work on my paver patio. This seems to be a really well run business!

I called about lawn service. I gave the address. My date was a week later. I made arrangements to be at the location. They texted me at least four times confirming the appointment. The day before and the morning of I received another text.I get a call at 6 After rushing to be there for my 6:30 appt I get a call at 6:50 saying they do not service my area. This was poor awning on their part. Why would you wait until the day of the check an address yiu have been texting a week prior to say you do not service this area and end your call with be blessed. Using religion to cover your irresponsibility. I would never use or recommend this company

Had a guy named Matt come out who quoted me for a retaining wall quickly and effectively. My job was quoted on site and a crew came out promptly and did amazing work. Very fair pricing too, I couldn t have asked for better!

So far, a little miscommunication between the estimator and crew, but NO other issues. New sod looks great. Will see how flower beds look when completed. Would recommend them.

It has been great hiring a company that is efficient and diligent. I called to get a quote for trimming hedges on a Thursday, got the quote on Friday, and they had a crew at my house Monday morning. Raphael came at 9am, leveled the area, and neatly placed the dirt and gravel behind my utility shed. I am so very pleased with the job. Ive amended this review to add two additional stars purely because Matt was great to work with and I believe he did not intend for there to be so many issues with this job, we all make mistakes and mistakes are learning opportunities; Matt personally resolved the outstanding issues and his work was 100x higher quality than the field team that came out for the original job. I am satisfied with the final product save for the lazy/poor pine straw work from the original field team, but it is what it is, thats easy enough for me to fix myself. more details... Matt did follow-up with me on the same evening of initial work and indicated he would be out the next day to resolve the outstanding issues from the job. The next day, he came out first thing and was very diligent in ensuring the major outstanding issues were resolved. He finished the edging and braced my new tree so that it looks great! Overall, I am very happy in dealing with Matt and my perception is that he is genuine in dealing with customers, but some disorganization and laziness led to an unfortunate situation (such as not recording all the work to be done on the work order if that was a requirement for the field teams or the field teams just throwing pine straw all over the yard and beds that I have to fix later). Matts field work was impeccable and I could tell he was extremely competent, however, it was frustrating that the salesperson had to be the one to come out and correct the shoddy work of the field team. Ultimately, I will have to spend the 20-30 minutes going around my house to fix the pine straw making it look presentable and cleaning it out of my yard. The whole point was supposed to be so that I didnt have to lay my own pine straw this year. Free advice: when I do pine straw, I stack the bales I need on the driveway while I clean the beds and then move them directly into the beds so that its easy to sweep up and it stays out of the yard. Throwing the bales roughly all over the yard is not productive and doesnt actually save any time versus doing it correctly. I would highly recommend Matt as your point of contact when dealing with Elite and my biggest suggestion is to ensure that all of the work you want done is enumerated on the work order. ** OG ** After talking with and getting estimates from various places, I went with Elite to get a tree put up as well as some edging and pine straw. From the very beginning, I experienced nothing but issues with Elites services. To start, I was told the work backlog was approximately 2 weeks; instead it took them over a month to come out. I was willing to overlook this without much issue. The day of work comes and several items that the salesperson had promised me were not completed at first because they did not put them on the work order. Additionally, they are attempting to charge me for additional materials above and beyond the initial estimate trying to claim they did not measure properly, however, I watched the salesperson measure the area on the day of the estimate. They planted the tree I ordered crooked and when I initially asked if it would be braced, they said they would not do it. I asked them to leave holes in the bed covering for my termite traps which was not done on the sides of the house. The pine straw was just thrown onto the beds and not brushed or formed in any way; at the end of the job, it looked extremely sloppy, much worse than something I could do for free. It legitimately seemed like their goal was to intentionally do terrible work as fast as possible. Before asking me to sign off on any work or look at anything, they all jumped in their trucks and drove off. I would exercise caution when dealing with Elite Lawn & Landscape as the entire operation seemed to be very unprofessional and simply didnt seem to care whether they did the job correctly or not.

Elite Lawn and Landscape did a fantastic job applying screened topsoil and thin-blade Zoysia to our property! Having quality topsoil and the right type of grass made a significant difference in the appearance and health of our lawn. We are pleased with their work and have a reliable team to work with!

When installed the rocks looked great. I paid to have weed fabric installed and a year later weeds are taking over. I call several months after install because weeds were popping through. A representative came out and said he would have someone come and spray, after several calls and text no one ever came out to spray. Really disappointed with customer service, wouldnt use again.

Just moving into the Lexington area and already trying to overcome some barriers with stormwater runoff at our new homesite. David didn t know, but I called nearly 20 people yesterday trying to get help with this issue while we are in the Due Diligence period of our purchase and short on time. I called him this morning and he told me he could get what I needed done the same day in the form of an assessment and pricing. Both David and Sean were on top of it and really helped me out when I needed it. They don t know it yet, but they might be helping me do more work in the near future to clear the wooded area in my back yard. Thank you so so much for the help guys! I really appreciate it!

We made an appointment for an estimate and the person claimed they showed up over an hour late. Our door bell was not working so they said they rang the door bell and no one came to the door. Sent me a response from my text to check in over an hour later to inform me of this, extremely unprofessional. Id recommend another option.

Adisen, Tyler, and Michael installed a French drain along my fence line. They were very quick and efficient. The team had expectional knowledge of the exact drainage system my grade needed and wasted no time in getting it installed and operating correctly. They did an excellent job in prepping the area for sod installation too and gave great advice on ensuring the sod anchors. Looking forward to having them back out for any additional work my yard needs this summer.

These guys did a great job repairing my irrigation system and installing sod mulch. My previously overgrown and weed-ridden yard looks fantastic. They were always professional and polite, they worked hard in extremely hot weather and stayed late to ensure that tasks got completed. They were very eager to correct any issues. Their pricing is reasonable, especially compared to competitors. I would recommend them, and I am looking forward to working with them for future projects.

Took a chance on this company and got burned. After providing a no rush estimate, we were hounded for days. Should have trusted our gut, but we proceeded with them anyway. The crew took several shortcuts on a pretty straightforward project and left it incomplete. We had a difficult time getting through to express our concerns, but they had no issue sending us repeated messages about paying the bill. Theyre not interested in making it right, and I hope you dont end up in a similar situation after doing business with Elite Lawn & Landscape. Update (5/23/2023): The company reached out to us today to see what they could do to get us to remove our critical review. Almost immediately after my original post, a 5 man team showed up at our door to do what they could which amounted to some cosmetic tweaks and moving some rocks to a pile. They did not consider addressing the underlying issue their responsibility, but mentioned I could hire them again to fix it and offhandedly remarked that it would be great if I removed my review. Now, 5 or so months later, theyre reaching out to offer free services in exchange for removing the review. Seems like it would have been simpler to the the right thing up front.

They were prompt in coming to give me a quote and confirming an appointment. I had a scheduled appointment and had signed up for two week rotation. The day of my appointment, no one showed up or contacted me. I sent a message asking what happened and the response was they probably ran out of time . I stated they could go ahead and do the initial cut, but to take me off the two week rotation. They did nothing to try to keep my business and didn t even so much as offer a discount on the cut that they finally came and did. They did, however, very promptly send me an invoice for the full amount. They tell you that you have 30 days to pay the invoice, but they send you the invoice every day until you pay it. They didn t bother to show up or even let me know that they weren t showing up, but they don t run out of time when it comes to sending the invoice. I would have been perfectly fine if they had just reached out to me and let me know something came up and they would be here the next day.

We are getting older so it is harder for us to mow the yard in the summer heat. I decided to give my husband a lawn service for his Christmas gift last year. I am so glad I did. The technicians, Addison and Jeremy, are quick and efficient. In no time, my yard is cut and edged. Then they use the blowers to clean up after their work. The online notification system makes it easy for me to pay the monthly bills. When I am traveling, I don t have a lot of yard work to do when I return. Looks like my husband will get another year of service for his Christmas present this year.

My parents yard had not been maintained hardly at all this summer and was quite overgrown. I contacted Elite (based on my sister s recommendation), and they very promptly came out and provided a quote; and they did the actual work the next business day. Jeremy worked hard for well over three hours alone (he was supposed to have someone with him, but they couldn t be here for some reason). He did a great job! I highly recommend them and commend Jeremy s exceptional work ethic.

The guys at Elite are probably the most respectful landscapers Ive every worked with. They have the best manner, aim to please, and do a great job. Highly recommend.

The company notified us via text that our sod had arrived and the landscaping crew would be here this pm to install it. The guys arrived and after discussing the specifics and pointing out what needed to be done with the head guy, they immediately started to work expeditiously with each guy having a specific job to do. They laid sod in the front, side and backyard areas covering up the bare spots with immediate improvement noted. They each were professional in the completion of their responsible duties and were completely finished within a couple of hours. They were true gentlemen in speaking with me and they double checked to make sure the job was done right the first time. The end results were beautiful and met with my approval. I would highly recommend the landscaping crew of Elite Landscaping to everyone that desires professional end results. They didn t even take a break with temps in the mid 80 s. Good job!

Was quoted 400$ to clean out my whole yard bushes edges etc. long story short they had to come back 3 times in one day and of course never finished the work. Sadly would never use this company or recommend to anyone. They were paid and I m still stuck with a poorly done yard. Stay away from these people who call themselves a Christian company their pride is not in their work.

I recently had to look for another long care service since Clarks lawn care has gone out of business. I did my Google search and found elite and also saw several billboards in the area of Lexington. The work they did which was a couple of cuts started out relatively OK. I asked them to do some remulching work for me in my flower beds . When they completed the job they laft excess grass, weeds and debtis on the side of my house. Two weeks later the weeds and grass are pooping back up. The last cut they left excess grass on top of the freshly cut grass without raking it. I would not recommend this company.

Elite is Hands down the best lawn service I ve had since moving here 4 years ago. I now use them for biweekly lawn maintenance. They have also put down mulch, pine straw, trimmed my hedges, pressure washed my house and fence. After letting go of my last crew my yard was starting to look like a jungle. They came in and it was like magic my whole house and yard were beautiful again. Seriously my house hasn t been this clean since we bought it. They actually scrubbed my siding with a scrub brush and soap before they pressure washed. They got places that I didn t even think of. They even managed to make this crazy hill in my backyard that I have about 40 juniper bushes on look great. They trimmed them all back and put pine straw down. They are currently trying to fix my lawn that my last crew scalped. They mowed it exactly like I wanted. I absolutely love David the owner. He is always so polite and respectful. He responds to my texts and calls quickly and has truly helped take the stress off our hands. I contacted David midway through the season. He got me on the schedule right away and started tackling all of my issues. Every single guy that has come to my house to work has been polite and respectful. They listened to what I wanted and made it happen quickly. I just can t say enough good things about these guys. It was truly a blessing to have found them as they have made life for my husband and I so much easier!!

I reached out to 11 companies and only got voicemails, but Elite was very quick to give me a callback. They got us scheduled promptly and did a great job with our lawn! I cant thank them enough for the tremendous customer service they have.

Needed a last minute pallet of sod put down and agreed to a price. Notified of a last minute delay with the sod sitting in the hot sun and paid almost as much for the labor withElite to have it delivered. I will acknowledge he did offer to do it quickly which is why I ordered it like I did and they did the next day (on a Saturday). sprinkler heads and catch basin for water run off were covered and new sod didn t get water for 3 days. I am not aware if he went by to inspect the job afterwards. When I reached out to let him know of issue I didn t get a response until later the evening after I already fixed the issues. He wanted a chance to correct it and he offered to fox any issues if they come up. I originally put a lower rating and he was upset I did him wrong and even stated he paid his guys double time and asked me to cut him some slack. He quoted a price and did discount $50 for not picking up the sod as he agreed to. (Cost me $205 fyi). Additionally he offered the neighborhood 15% off services after he quoted me the price which he refused to discount further. Fortunately the grass rebounded and lived He wanted me to give him five stars. So here they are.* * * * *. More I reflect on it, if I paid a premium , I expect premium service I offered to put up three stars, and he responded with .fine, I think it is unfair . That is what I am putting up. End of the day he did the job. Was it an experience I care to repeat? Glad to discuss further but not much can change the facts

I ve hired many landscaping contractors in the past and this company has set a new standard. They did an incredible job with our landscape, their prices are a bit steep but we ve learned as a general principal, you get what you pay for. On a side note, they only asked for a very small percentage of the project cost to get started which was great and definitely sets them apart from other landscapers. Great local company, presentation, communication and quality were all great during my experience.

London was very attentive and made me feel he cared about what I wanted in the services he provided. I was very happy and satisfied with Elite services an the professional services provided.

I was not happy with these guys. I asked for my beds to be weeded and mulched. They did not clear the beds like I asked and barely spread the mulch. Also broke a tree planted in a pot in the bed clean in two. Just an amateur, hit and run type job. I expected alot more for my money. Dont recommend.

These guys (David - Owner and JT - Project Manager) are a good young group of guys who were polite, professional and honest. There were some minor errors in some of the worked performed, but they promptly returned to address the issues and discounted my invoice for my troubles.

I have used many different landscaping companies and Elite has been the best by far. They are friendly, reliable, quick to respond to any needs, and they do a great job on my yard. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

This was the work elite did to my yard. They butchered my lawn. Didn t edge, left trash in my yard after a job. The cut it twice and that was two time to many. They are professional and have great customer service but the quality is sub par. The photos are on the same day they cut it. Absolutely horrible job.

David and his team did an outstanding job installing sod around the perimeter of my home. They also did a great job navigating all the outlets and sprinklers as well. They provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend Elite lawn and landscaping.

These guys are great they did my uncles house and then I did my brothers house and then when I did my house the rest of the neighbors decided to go with Elite! They are fantastic all around, definitely recommend for anything lawn care related

I had them do a major leaf clean up and a complete yard remodel, and add in some flower beds and plant some flowers as-well. They also added fresh mulch around the rest of the house and laid pine straw around my trees and curled it! All in all, highly recommend them! Prices are fair and the quality and speed of the work was well worth it! They got to my house right at the time we agreed on as-well and that was important to me because I had a meeting at 8:45! Highly recommended!

Horrible service, I felt like he was taking advantage of me. What he did was allow me to pay him for excuses and the privelege of doing the work for him. Services were to include cutting the grass front and back, edging the sidewalk and driveway and blowing off the sidewalk and driveway. Left before I could check his work and when I told him he wasnt finished, he came back and gave me excuses. Uneven grass height, didnt have pushmower so didnnt get around all the space, couldnt weed eat (several excuses as to why not), didnt mow the whole back yard, only one section. Started to trim the edges and didnt finish, then left all the cuttings there....claimed he wasnt a clean up service....but said becuase I agreed to pay him (this was before he started) that I was obligated to pay...regardless if I was happy with his work....So he got the money and now I still have to go out and do the work...I would be cautious before using this company...better companies out there...

I asked them for help with my memory garden and it went very well. Out of three contractors his bid was the best affordable price. I already bought all the plants I wanted... all labor and the stepping stones, rocks and mulch he provided. David did the metal edging in copper and a half shelter pagoda with lattice on sides so my honeysuckle can grow up the pagoda with my bench looks fantastic. I had David help with a design and we came out with something so beautiful omg it s touching.
