Not particularly fond with the carcinogen exposure. They used bifenthrin on my lawn (along with other harsh pesticides) which are classified as carcinogens by the EPA while claiming to be kid and pet safe. Not ethically right to put profits before health.. I also dislike how they falsely represent to be locally owned while the ceo lives in another state..

Lex was great, very friendly, and explained everything in a professional and clear way! Lex was a great technician, but I cant support a company that refuses to give people promotions because theyre single parents! Even though they are qualified, a great asset to the team and have amazing reviews from customers!!!

My wife and I had to cancel our relationship with Weedman. This particular franchise is owned by a larger company, Epic 3, that has well over 20 offices; they are not locally owned. The ceo and cfo are out of the state while they claim otherwise. They use harsh pesticides that are labeled as carcinogens by the EPA. Not safe for my kids! Lots of false representation!

Weedman s customer service is definitely less than subpar. They are very friendly to get your service and then they do whatever they want to do when they have your service. They schedule technicians to come out to your home without your knowledge and then blindly take out money from your account without knowing that services have been rendered or scheduled. I ultimately canceled the service. As a consumer I can t live day-to-day wondering if weed man has come to my home and taken out of my account. I spoke with an escalations manager named Carolyn and tried to get the situation rectified she advised me that she would only be able to do a partial refund, even though services were rendered without my knowledge. $132 came out of my account and she proceeded to tell me she was only able to refund $36.05. Shame on them BEWARE!(I do have to say the most positive interaction I have had with them was with technician Charles)

We have received excellent, timely and personable service. The weed treatments have been very effective; I no longer have to worry about the weeds on the perimeter of our house! I highly recommend the Weed Man.

They applied a treatment and then we got a heavy rainfall, and I was concerned it was going to wash away. Well, it killed all the weeds, even with the rainfall. Weed Man is one of the best services that I ve ever signed up for. The application works and the weeds in my rocks has all but disappeared!

We have been very pleased with Weed Man s weed treatment on our rock beds. Our front, side and backyard areas are all rock areas. We had been struggling with the weed issue more and more each year. Weed Man has been great. They notify us before each application. We have them ring our bell to let us know that they re here, so that we don t let our dogs out. The dogs can go outside again an hour after the application. The weeds go away within 7-10 days. They are very responsive if we have any areas of concern or need a re-spray due to excessive rain. I would highly recommend Weed Man to anyone with rock beds and weed issues.

I was a little hesitant to hire someone to take care of my weeds but after years of struggling to keep up with it myself I decided to give Weed Man a try. I have been very happy with the results. Great service! They really. Are about your lawn and weed removal! We have xeriscaping on our back yard and before it would take us hours to take out the weeds, just to have them be back a week later. When we moved in the yard had definitely been neglected. After finding Weed Man and letting them do their magic we have seen truly amazing results. We get compliments on the yard and turnaround all the time the last 3 years because of Weed Man and their great service. All I do is program the sprinkler system mow and trim and the yard looks fantastic.

Our lawn has never looked worse than when using weedman. Just had a newborn so I thought I would give myself the spring off for once and have you all help, and yet now I just have way way more work. Avoid them at all cost. Does this look weed free? It s never looked like this :( I paid to have my yard ruined unfortunately . Lady could have cared less when we told her what was going on . What a trainwreck of an experience I had. I signed up after seeing a Facebook ad saying sign up now and get 50% off your first service. They came out did the first service then billed me the full amount. I called and asked for the discount and was told I didnt qualify as I didnt start service in January. The ad says nothing about it. I then replied to the Facebook ad about my experience and they canceled my service contract! Update: After they read this review they called me to try and earn my service back and when I said I have no interest, they offered to refund me for my first service of I will take this review down. Wow, the unprofessionalism within this company is mind-blowing. They didnt care about me at all until I left a bad review. Dont do business with this company.

I inquired about a quote. I was called back and told You are wanting cheap prices not quality service and then he hung up. The Weed Man needs to learn better customer service, if you want to earn customers. I would not recommend. Too expensive and rude customer service.

We have a sign that says no soliciting yet they still leave advertisements at the door.

Very rude to ring the doorbell and then knock extremely hard/loud like you about to be SWAT coming through the dang door. Uncalled for. Also neighborhood has signs at entrances of no soliciting but you must think your company is exempt; nope its for all incase your folks cant read let them know. I dont care if others in neighborhood like your services, I will call if I want your services-- which will be never.

I have not used this business and do not plan to. I have three no soliciting signs, two on my mailbox and one on my door. And I am still getting people from this company coming up to my door and leaving flyers. Please advise your staff not to come up to the doors of people that have no soliciting signs.

Hunter and Tyler were very kind and didnt charge me today because of the fact very little needed doing. Thay were going to spray the yard for weed and bug control but 90% of my yard has been ruined by dogs. John was amazing and super helpful to bring my lawn back to life! The winter months caused some damage and John knew just what to do! He recommended the best type of sod and seed and made sure everything was taken care off. He answered all my questions and let me know how best to take care of my lawn! I just cancelled after two treatments. They only managed to get about half of the weeds each visit (I had one grass and two rock bed/xeriscape services). Guess I expect more at this price, have opted to move to doing it myself instead.

Had no idea they do not mow or trim and they never said otherwise. All they do is spray stuff around and they didnt even get everything I wanted sprayed. Waste of $100. Abd then they have the nerve to try and say I paid less than I did after THEY gave me a refund! Maybe list your services and tell your employees to do the job right?

Buyer Beware! I always check someone out and get three estimates when it comes to obtaining someone services. Sometimes a simple phone call to interact with a business does the trick; their professionalism, or lack thereof ... in this case, will often tell you if you should hire them. My process proved to be spot on this time. That said, these folks are squirmy ... she quoted me a price on the phone for four visits to kill the weeds and grass on my xero-scaping. The price was reasonable, but she tried to give me the high pressure sales pitch to purchase the service right away. My business class teacher back in 1987 explained in his tirade on advertising gimmicks, that a need for high pressure sales tactics are a sign of a poor service or product. Anyhow, I asked for a quote to be emailed to me. She emailed it and it was a hundred dollars more than what was quoted over the phone. I replied and asked why ... they gave me the brush off, stating their salesman would call me and explain the increase. They never bothered to contact me with an explanation. If these folks were worth their salt, theyd not have to resort to such business tactics. They need to work on their business acumen and sales approach. Honesty is always the best policy; and above all, always do what you say youre gonna do. 30 years experience in the construction trades; currently holding two specialized A Contractors licenses.

The only thing that knocks them down a star is that you only get 24 hours notice before they visit, but they are cool with rescheduling... Obviously, they have to work with the weather, but perhaps a simple calendar hand-out at the beginning would be cool (indicating approximately when the treatments would happen), but maybe I dont know enough about the growth patterns to appreciate reasons why that might not work!

My yard is zeroscaped. And I have used a myriad of different companies in the past for pest and weed control. Some with varying results. WM has proven to be the best of them! Since swapping to their service about a year ago, I have found them to be professional, prompt, and extremely effective. My yard remains free of weeds and other pests. After a particularly wet period between services, I was even able to call and they came out and sprayed my yard again in between my scheduled applications at no charge, keeping my lawn in check. I have nothing but positive things to say, and would recommend WM to anyone looking for lawn maintenance and pest control. Their customer service is also top notch, being extremely transparent and responsive. From their techs to their dispatchers, i have always felt valued, and my concerns and questions were always taken seriously. I have never had anything but the most positive of experiences with them. They have made me a customer for the remainder of the time I am in this house. If you are looking for lawn services, pest or weed control, I highly recommend you check them out!

I decided to give them a chance ealry spring last year. My office building is 100% rocks and wedds are a real problem. They gave me a gurentee that if they did a spring aplication that it would stop most of the weeds and would do some maintence sprays thoguhout the year. 2 weeks after the aplicaiton the weeds are now 5 inches high and I call and say that the gurenteed application didnt work. They wanted me to use a trimmer and get them lower and they would be out to get a treatment done. 3 days later some guy and his daughter show up and he barely sparyed anything and leaves. Week later we can clearly see where he sprayed and where he didnt spray. Weeds are now knee high where he didnt spray. Some cutomer service person says I need to send video of them not spraying. So after I sent the video they say they are going to send out someone at no charge. It this point I dont want them on property and ask them to cancel the service. Thier responce, the tech was already on his way. After numerous calls with the company, managers and I cant get a hold of anyone locally, they have a $112 bill they sent to collections, after several phone operators said it was taken care of. DO NOT hire this company. Their prodcut is horrible, they dont stand behind thier gurentee, and their customer service is the worst i have ever expirenced!!!!!!

What a waste of money! After a few applications(sprays), I would see fresh weeds growing and whatever product they use killed part of my grass in the front. I paid over 200 dollars and again it s not worth it. I still have weeds and dead grass..

My yard is fescue and the year I bough my house I up kept the yard myself but got busy and decided to give weed man a try, worst decision ever. They came out twice and then I noticed the yard started to die, had a manager come and he told me it was a dead spot bc of winter. Never tried to fix it and send a $116 bill to collections because they wanted to be ignorant and not come up with a resolution to be honest and admit that it was simplify their mistake and not due to any winter damage. All they do is try and push sales They don t really care about the customer service.

Their door to door salesman might call you Karen and tell you to call the police on him when you politely ask him to respect your no soliciting sign . Train your door-to-door people to have some professionalism!

The door knocker I spoke to was very polite and professional. I decided to use Weed Man based on the exchange I had with him. Then the sales guy called...when I told him that I was very interested in the services but, would need to discuss the cost with my wife before pulling the trigger, he became the typical pushy salesman and tried to not let me off the phone. I refuse to do business with a company that employs those types of outdated and overbearing sales tactics.

Update to your response: I think a No Soliciting sign is plenty to keep your employees from knocking. If you are a half-decent person you will just train your employees to respect the sign, not ask me for personal information to make it happen. Dont appreciate the form response anyways. They send solicitors door to door and have them ignore No Soliciting signs. The employees have no shame in bothering us and think that oh i am not selling anything is an excuse for ignoring the signs. They are clearly training the employees to act as if what they are doing is not soliciting, even though it obviously is. Stay away from this shady, intrusive company.

No soliciting means NO SOLICITING we have 2 signs post and they still ring door bell and knock on the door. I would never hire a company that does not know how to read.

Ive been using Weed Man for a few months now. Prior to them Id had really poor results with one of the big lawn repair companies so I was a little hesitant, but their reviews were good and the agents I dealt with, Orrin and Wesam, were outstanding. I had a solid car size dead patch of just dirt on my front lawn. They did fertilization, aeration, seeding and weeding. They warned it might not fully grow in during this first summer, but that I should see definite growth. Its been 4 months since my first service and my lawn looks good as new. I honestly cant get over the results.

After identifying the issue and making a plan...I was put at easy that his I got this attitude took this ordeal off my shoulders and put it in the hands of the PROFESSIONALS.....Looking forward to a total resolve and having my beautiful lawn back!!

I am super annoyed with this company. I have three properties with them, paid in full up front to receive a discount and they have not been thorough. When you call to complain about weeds they missed, they make you wait 2 weeks before they come back and then there is more weeds. UPDATE: Orrin one of the managers reached out to me after seeing the review and he has been very responsive on taking care of my concerns. There are many companies that would just blow it off but they are actually trying to make sure I am satisfied.

I am happy with their service and wished I called sooner. The weeds in my Xeriscape died a week after getting sprayed and it is great!! I sprayed them several times myself and it literally did nothing. The time and effort and money I spent I wish I would of just called this company sooner to be honest. The technician was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable about which weeds I had told me the names and info about them. He was super fast, but I watched and he sprayed everything. Weed control is great on non-lawn areas although our strawberry plant and potato plant got sprayed so they are dead or dying. Some of our sumac saplings also got sprayed and died as well.Weed control on the lawn is great unless you are fighting purslane or spurge like we are in which case two visits later are still growing super well and continuing their take over. It seems techs cannot identify weeds and non weeds and just spray everything.

The weeds started dying immediately after the first treatment. I am very happy with results.

Weed Man has been good for us so far this season as we try to recover our lawn. They are very responsive via text and voicemail phone. I also like their website as it s pretty user friendly. I do wish they could schedule a time to have the service completed as opposed to just a notification that it will happen the following day as I don t like having to leave the gate open for the whole day. I do understand they have constraints with that. We are still improving our lawn, but the treatments do appear to be working and the guys doing the work are generally very helpful and responsive.

Provided one-day text notification that they would be there the next day for Weed Control application. The Weed Man provided 3 or 4 applications until all weeds were dead. On-time, professional, and courteous servicemen also answered any questions that I had pertaining to weed mitigation. I would highly recommend their service!

My technician, Nicholas, is amazing! Not only does he do a fantastic job when he here, he asks questions to make sure service is doing well for us, but today he saw me struggling with draining the liner of our above ground pool and immediately jumped in to help me!! Thank you Nicholas!!

I have small kids and LOUD dogs, and therefore, a no soliciting, sign on my door. My neighbor does too. For whatever reason, the sales people who canvassed our neighborhood didn t seem to think the no soliciting sign needed to be honored. The dogs went wild, my kids were woken from naps, and then they went and knocked on the neighbors door starting the whole fiasco over. It s disrespectful. Those signs are there for a reason, and ignoring it certainly won t win business over.

Ive been using Weed Man for a few years. My lawn was not great because I didnt know how to take care of it but now the weeds are gone and the bare spots are filled in. They answer any questions I have. Highly recommended.

Completely disregarded the No Soliciting sign on my door in the Stetson Hills Neighborhood and came by just after Id gotten our newborn to sleep. Our dogs love waking him up when solicitors come by banging on the door unannounced.

Decided to ignore a no soliciting sign and had a bad attitude when asked to leave. If you want aggressive individuals who wont listen to your requests to work on your yard, this company is for you. I would avoid if you rather have a company you can trust.

Weed Man is a great company. They are very respectful and knowledgeable. I get a notification text the day before each of their applications, so I know when they are coming to my house! My lawn is already starting to improve after just 1 visit. Keep up the great work Weed Man!

The Weed Control for my Rockbeds is cheap and guaranteed! I spoke to a go getter at the door. I was not pleased at first but, i am happy he showed up! I took the free quote and got the door hanger with a 25 dollar first time come out. They didnt charge me for services I didnt want! Excellent!

Salesperson ignored a No Soliciting sign and bothered us in the middle of the day, even tried to push the pitch once more after I pointed it out. Highly unprofessional, wouldnt work with them on principle after that.

Salesman was nice. They had a person call for free estimate. I decided to wait to speak with my husband before making a decision asked if I can call back , I was told it would be best for her to call me back instead of calling them back. She called the next day told her i decided not use the service as I was in mid conversation about the lawn and why I wasnt going to need the service the call was disconnected and no one called back. Glad i didn t end up going with the company, once I said no thank you there was no need to talk to me anymore, that s not good business ethic.

My experience was horrible first application did not work at all second application no improvement than they canceled third application and I could not get someone to call me back to reschedule!!!

Im currently deployed so I decided to go with this company to maintain my lawn. The initial service was great, so I decided to pay for the full season service. This was a bad Idea on my part. It has now been over a month since my last treatment and the weeds are out of control again. Im getting letters from my HOA and when I called they could not give me a date on when they would be out. Their website has all my additional service labeled as pending with no dates attached. I feeling like I got ripped off. I would not recommend this company to any other service member or anyone really.

I started using Weed Man this season, and have been very impressed with their services! Our grass was green and lush - very beautiful. When I recently saw brown patches pop up, I (incorrectly) thought it was related to their weed control. I sent a message to their customer service blasting them somewhat, and my lawn technician Wesam came right out within a day or two to see what was up. He correctly IDd the problem as... my sprinkler system, not Weed Man (turns out my water wasnt reaching the dead patches). Wesam was so kind, and couldnt have been more gracious in accepting my apology... and he already is setting to work on what needs to be done to repair the dead areas. Wesam provided amazing and thorough service to mitigate our out of control weed problem! Having a mostly rock zeroscaped yard its a huge chore keeping the weeds under control and Wesam conquered it. Been having trouble with weeds for the last two years in my rock beds finally got caught up with Weed Mans help. Needed them to come do some resprays no problem no extra cost. Very professional and responsive definitely worth using for weed control during the summer.

So my wife decided to use this service to my hesitation; we have a teen who could help pull weeds and after me dousing the yard with copious amounts of RoundUp. We met Wesam really friendly; went over safety of the chemicals and the areas he went over (we had quite a bit of weeds due to all the summer rain) He took care of our jungle in no time and with a few days our yard looked free of weeds and great. On a side note it s pretty interesting to see the weeds slow death.
