I recently used True green to spray a large open property approx 1.44 acres for weeds. Unfortunately the weeds were not killed. Mike the owner - manager stated that they would return and spray at no charge!!! So they finally came and sprayed almost 2 months later and then charged my card without permission. He refuses to refund the money he took illegally, violating his own policy. He also refuses to respond to my calls and texts. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and the bank is investigating. Be very cautious with this business !!!! By the way I still have weeds !!! Never again!!

If you come to a house and the gate is shut, please make sure you shut the gate back when you leave. This is an easy way to let animals out and is reckless in my opinion. We love TruGreen but this is the 2nd time our gate has been left open, luckily we caught it before our dog could get loose.

My first interaction of TrueGreen lawn care has been great! Very professional and knowledgeable.

I didnt even get to their service, the review is for whoever answers their phones. My yard has some brown spots, some from dogs and another big section I dont understand why its browning. I called for a quote wanting someone to come out and take a look. I guess they have a sales team that answers? The guy I got was ridiculously persistent and was constantly interrupting me. I kept asking for someone to come take a look and he kept interrupting me telling me they just need to fertilize it(I already fertilized it). He said over and over again that he knows for a fact they just need to fertilize it. I asked for pricing and he quoted me around 50$ the first visit then 90$ each visit after(7 visits), to be paid all at once before they start. I told him I wasnt looking to pay 600 something dollars and wanted a pay as you go thing. He kept pressing. I told him I need to think about it and he wouldnt let me get off the phone and asked what my hesitation was. To get him off, I told him I needed to talk to my husband and wanted to get other quotes. I got another call the next day at 9am. I was bust and asked him to give me a few hours and to call back around noon. I got another call in only an hour which I didnt answer, then another call at noon. The next day(today) I got 3 calls all before noon. I dont appreciate the total lack of being able to have someone come check out my lawn and talk to me in person about what needs to be done. I also dont appreciate the persistence on the sale, interrupting me without listening to what I want accomplished in my yard, and forcing a ridiculous price to just come out and spray my yard, not knowing it actually needs that. My whole experience was incredibly annoying and tacky. I would much prefer getting a professional local company that cares about their customer interactions and who will be willing to listen to what I want done and come up with a plan with me.

Very timely as well as well as friendly. Didnt explain why my rock beds and weed killer in back yard couldnt be done at same time as lawn area. 2 separate visits.

Extremely pushy and rude salespeople. Asked multiple times to stop calling and they continue to call/text/spam me. Dont waste your time with this company, the salespeople dont know anything and just want to push you into a purchase as soon as possible. Then when you say no, they will literally never leave you alone.

UPDATE: Even though the business has replied, dont let that make you think they made things right. They have not! I have repeatedly told them to stop contacting me and take me off their call list. They keep contacting me to the point of harassment and Im about to file a report. I have had the most trouble with this business. When I signed up with them I told them we keep our fence locked at all times and they must call us the day before they come so that we can have the backyard accessible to them. They agreed to this and said it was no problem. I had issues with them last year and almost canceled because they would fail to call or text the day before and would show up and only do the front yard. When they came this year I made sure they understood that this wasnt acceptable and they promised they would do better if I stayed. I gave them another chance. This past summer I had to go to Florida for a family emergency, but my husband and daughter were here. Not once did they notify the us day before coming out, and the entire 3 months I was gone (the majority of summer) the backyard wasnt done. When I got back the back yard was infested with weeds in the yard and overgrowth and weeds all around the perimeter. When I called them to complain they again said the were so sorry, please give them another chance. I said okay. They were supposed to come out soon to do the things they never did this past summer, but no one ever came and there was no contact. I finally put up our Halloween decorations which take up most of the front yard. Suddenly today someone from TruGreen shows up at the door to do fall fertilizing (which is an add on service I didnt contract them to do, and cost extra). No prior notification whatsoever. I let him know through the door bell not do do anything and to have customer service call me. I am canceling services with them. I have not received what I have paid for and I am finished listening to excuses.

I spoke with a sales guy names Mark discussed with him that I just wanted to get rid of the weeds he sent me the link and assured me that if i just did the service agreement and not confirm the plan I would keep the discount but not get the service done until I confirmed it. However without even confirming the program the service guy still showed up I was upset but went with it because I did want to get rid of the weeds but I was still looking for others options. The next day i got the invoice saying that my first service for the tree and shrub program was completed. I do not have a single tree or shrub on my lawn I was charged for a program and had chemicals sprayed in my yard for no reason. The sales guy Mark told me to call him anytime if I had problems or questions about my service I have called him and left voicemails multiple times a day for 2 weeks now! I am pissed, out $147 and still have a yard filled with weeds. Called customer service and got everything canceled I will not be using them ever again.

The young man that came today was very nice and quick with his work. Made an effort to move my dog s ball so it wouldnt get his by the chemicals. That was very kind.

The service technician is very polite, comes to the door to let me know he is here and asks if I have any questions or concerns. This grass service was a stress-free process! True Green worked to build trust by giving me access to view when they were on my property, kept me informed throughout the process, text updates, and proved they were on site by posting safety signs on front and backyard and left a tag with technician s name/ comments. That s what I call Transparency!

I am very disappointed with the service from TruGreen. I had a whole package that I had completed in October of 2023 and I was told that someone would reach out to me once March came around to schedule the next services that were needed. Nobody ever reached out and so when I called, I spoke to someone that had no idea what I was talking about and then asked if I wanted to set up services. I told the woman that I had spent over an hour on the phone with the gentleman in October and had set up all of my services at that point. Not a good company and I will be sticking with local companies from now on.

Pedro W was awesome! Talk to several people in the call-center and nobody really seem to know what I was talking about. I was nervous for Pedro to come and what he was expecting. Once I talked to Pedro. He did exactly what I asked and put all my worries to rest.

Did a great job this morning and even went out of his way to straighten out the gate to my fence that got stuck from the bad winds we were having the other day.

Horrible horrible company! The sales agent James was extremely pushy calling everyday sometimes multiple times a day to get me to sign up for service. I finally caved in and signed up for aeration, seeding and fertilizer he even offered to throw in spraying for some kind of mites for free even though he claimed that service was hundreds of dollars. He guaranteed me everything would be done on the first visit. The techs showed up and did the worst job possible, they did not fully aerate our front yard was half down with about a 5 ft gap between passes and our back yard was even worse. They put a very light sprinkle of fertilizer and no more spray and no seeding. They left without saying anything. I went out to look at the yards and immediately called the sales agent James and told him what they did. He said he was sorry and that they didnt seed because they ran out at their last job and the free mite spray didnt get added to the work order. That is not an excuse if they knew the work they were to do its their responsibility to make sure they have the stuff they need before showing up. I told James this is exactly why I was hesitant to agree to service in the first place and that Im done and to cancel the service. After him trying to convince me to keep it he agreed to cancel and assured me I would not be charged a dime since they didnt do even half the work they were supposed to. I thought everything was over until the techs showed up a couple weeks later to do another service. I went out and told them I had cancelled and not to do anything and they left. I called James again and he again gave his im sorry speech and assured me again he cleared any balance and cancelled the service. Thought everything was finally over once again until I get a notification that I have a balance of almost $300 in collections for tru green. No billing statements mailed no calls nothing. I reached out to James about the balance and have been completely ghosted no response from texts no returned voicemails. I have saved all texts between myself and the sales agent Incase legal action will be necessary as no one has been willing to fix this at the company.

When we had Scotts lawn care our yard looked amazing; always a dark shade of green, no weeds, etc. When TruGreen took over our yard started looking horrible. I continued to water as I needed to based on the amount of rain we received. But no matter what I did, our yard started thinning and dying. Within a few treatments they had scorched our yard from over fertilizing and it continued to get worse from there. Had them out to aerate and over seed for us and I watered appropriately but none of their seeds sprouted. I ended up getting seed and doing it myself to get rid of the bald spots. I dont know why things went downhill so quickly but I have always used Scotts and always had a beautiful lawn. Its too bad TruGreen couldnt continue to provide that service. And just fyi, I seeded my entire yard from scratch prior to using a company so I have some experience with starting and maintaining a nice yard. I understand the need for frequent watering, the problems I had were not a watering issue.

Waste of money. I initially met with them one year ago and they told me they guaranteed they could revive my backyard. 1 year later and almost $1,000 out of my pocket, and this is what my yard looks like. I reached out to them recently and told them Im not happy as Ive spent all this money and have gotten no results. They sent someone to my house who said Yeah you need to till this up and then plant a whole bunch of grass seed and then bring in a whole bunch of topsoil. And I said well, your guys a year ago told me they could revive this. I wish they would have had an honest conversation with me initially and told me that this is what I need to do, before I dropped nearly $1,000 with you guys. Would be nice to get that $1,000 back to use to till, plant grass seed and bring in topsoil. But now Im back at ground zero a year later, out nearly $1,000. Would be nice if they would reimburse me a little bit of that but I know thats not going to happen. Are they really ever did over the past year was spend 5 minutes applying fertilizer about once a month, then grass seed a couple times and one aeration. I think I could have done all that myself for about $200 bucks or less.

Professional, courteous and responsive staff. We have a hilly yard and the aeration worker (Caleb) in particular worked hard to get it done. Could have easily took short cuts but did not. UPDATE 9 Jun: aeration service was 5 star, but rest of service is UNSAT--we cancelled and are looking for an alternative company. Issues: -actual application of fertilizer, weed killer and insect and landscape treatments are spotty, missed large areas that obviously required it and that I specifically asked to be treated. Tree and shrub plan only treated the trees...skipped over all the shrubs we have (as reviewed on my security system videos). Never saw an actual lawn analysis. Landscape service was ineffective and spotty, weeds in landscaping rocks everywhere. Watched the treatments on camera, did not cover a LOT of the landscape areas -billing: we pre-paid in April. Received pre-pay option in mail in Jun. I called to test them...they were about ready to process my credit card to pre-pay a second time, but just before I blew up, the rep caught the error. Also found an unknown charge after the original pre-payment was completed--rep could not tell me what it was for. -had to call Trugreen to schedule my landscape service--they never scheduled it on their own Overall: sketchy and ineffective treatment application (I can wave a hose around and barely treat anything myself), sketchier accounting system (my online account differed from what their system told me when I called Trugreen, unexplained extra charges)

Terrible. Hired them for weed control. I had a reliable weed control service that kept my yard weed free . They called me aggressively to switch service yo them. Their call center is in Tennessee and they have no idea for Colorado landscaping so they first put me on the wrong plan: weed grows uncontrollably and there is no way to reach their local office or their Serviceman. They came and did ineffective vegetation control. I called and after going through a remote exercise for long time one time I had a nice lady from local office understand my concerns and promised to make amends. They also promised that a regional manager will contact me and visit my Propeety. One tech did reach out and totally agreed with me and promised that they will take control this time. My weed is still growing and now I have to spend a grand on weed control and my landscaping will probably never look the same. I called again and their call centre refused to connect me to local office . That regional manager has still not contacted me or visited my Propeety. I get different technicians and I can t get a call from any of them before or after they do their ineffective service . Waste of money is one thing but because of their aggressive marketing I switched and now I have to pay more to fix the damage. Terrible and unethical. So sorry to have made the switch.

Discussed with Caleb about weeds appearing in lawn which are likely due to the high amount of rain weve had this year. He explained he was applying weed killer to get them to stop growing and they would die out over the next 3-4 weeks. As usual, great service, and Caleb answered all my questions.

They killed my lawn and then blamed it on the soil. It was beautiful and green before they sprayed and now its completely dead. They do not stand behind their work. Dont use them!

The service representative literally hung up on me when I was in the middle of speaking becuase I did not want those extra services just asking for pricing for mowing the lawn back and front said they don t service our area for cutting grass but would still quote me for grass treatment? What a joke.

Colorado Springs has had a lot of rain this year, which caused weeds to grow at rapid rates. Calling TruGreen for supplemental visits was simple and FREE. Each time I have had reason to contact them, they have been incredible accommodating and kind. I feel so many businesses could learn from TruGreens customer service standards!

I had tru green for two years with less than great results. My lawn struggled with some weeds and never reached a deep green. Those results were not enough for me to leave a bad review however I am now canceling my service for the third time. They keep renewing my service without my permission.

First time I ve had a yard with trees and shrubs to worry about so he took the time to explain how and when to prune everything and general care instructions to keep plants healthy through the winter. Too soon to tell if TruGreen fertilizer/oil treatments are helpful but so far very impressed with the personal.

They said they would only offer me a year contract for 800$ I said no thanks that s too expensive right now.This morning the service technician called me and lectured me for me wasting his time. He was at my house apparently with paperwork. He said if you weren t interested why did you cal true green? I explained and he just kept interrupting me saying nonsense like well if you weren t inter you shouldn t have called and hung up on me. Idiots! Maybe if your office was organized they would have sent you. It s there own fault for being in organized and blame the customer I a very unprofessional manner. CROOKS.

I did not sign up for service with these people. They just came to my house, went into my backyard with no communication to us about anything and sprayed some sort of chemical all over. I have 3 dogs. I would never agree to having chemicals sprayed in my yard, especially in the rain. Not to mention the fact that 2 of my dogs are pitbulls and would have attacked him, had they been outside when he broke into our backyard. I called to find out why he came to our house and after being put on hold several times, I was guaranteed he would not be back. They apologized for the misunderstanding. And the next day I have a charge on my account from them. They said they would charge me half because I didnt even want this service in the first place. I guess thats their scam. Beware of these people, they clearly dont care about customers or animals.

The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the courteous employees at main office when you call the 800 number. I was lied to by the sales manager who came to my door about pricing. When i asked to see a brochure with prices, I was told there is not one. I pre-paid $485 for the year. Long story short, their rep stole mine and about a dozen other neighbors credit card info and cash payments and is now in prison. Will never trust TruGreen in my home again.

Insisted on lawn care plan, said they do offer one-time services but it was like pulling teeth to get them to stop pushing their annual plan. I scheduled a time for the rep to call back later that afternoon and between 11am and 2pm, I received 11 phone calls from different agents. When I told them it was bordering on harassment, they told me it could take 30 days to remove me from their call list. Extremely unprofessional.

$750 for TruGreen to take care of my lawn this year and this is what it looks like. Interestingly enough this is what it looked like last year and the main reason I contacted them. No one talks to me about how to make it look better. No one tells me what s wrong with it. Contactless service is probably not the best idea for a service that actually depends on contact with the customer. I also called to cancel my remaining service since it s clearly a waste of money and they promised someone would come out to talk to me. Never happened. Will never ever use them again and will make sure to tell everyone I know that they did nothing to help me figure out how to make my lawn pretty again. All for the low price of $750. Update: TruGreen came out after this post to talk with me about my lawn. They said this problem is caused by grubs in the soil and easily treatable. Sure would have been nice if they had mentioned it in their lawn reports over the last few months.

We used this service (Colorado Springs, CO) for well over a year and what was once a beautiful green yard is now full of dead spots and weeds. The main issue we had was they repeatedly would only do the very small front yard and not the much larger back yard, even after calling them multiple times to fix this issue. Almost every time we called, we were told it was in the computer to do only the front yard and they would fix it. But then the same story the next month, this issue was never fixed. I could go on with several other issues but all I will add is that they did way more harm than good to my yard. And even after we finally canceled them, they still kept bugging us to use their service and promising to do the job right this time. Maybe they should have tried doing the job right when we first started calling about our issues and before my yard ended up in such bad shape. The three years before using them we took care of our yard ourselves and it looked like a golf course. Please, dont reply to this with another message telling me to contact you again, already been there and done that. This message is really to let your potential customers know about our experience with this company, not another chance for you to earn my business back.

We just wanted a basic quote and told them no thank you, their reps proceeded to call us 10 times. No exaggeration, we checked our call history, 10 calls after we said no. At some point targeted marketing turns into harassment. Please dont give your number to these people.

We ordered service last year. Then CANCELED! Just yesterday they aerated my yard and charged my account without asking. This was in a CLOSED account! If we didn t notice the bank account we would have never known! This is extremely unprofessional. If my grass dies because this company came out without my permission there will be further consequences. Check your bank account s if you have ever used this company!

They do a great job. Always inform us when they are coming. The lawn looks great considering we cant water very often because of the water shortages.

Have asked them to stop services to a residence that I no longer own and they have continued to do lawn services and continue to charge for them. This will be escalated to the BBB and attorney generals office in the state of Colorado. Once again warning to not use this company as they use shady business practices to prey upon people.

I called and spoke to a nice man who said someone would be out in 2-3 days and a week later no one came out. Called and was told the next week someone would come out and again no one. Called again and a nice lady apologized and discounted my rates and promised to get someone out this week. NO ONE came out so Thursday I called and they said Friday they will come out. I called about 10a this morning and was told they were coming today. It is now 645pm and NO ONE has called, messaged, texted, or shown up. I will have to go somewhere else. Waisted a lot of time with this company as they make promises they don t keep.

The product is good. However, the customer service is terrible! It is impossible to get ahold of anyone with this large business. Sometimes the hold time is nearly 2 hours long. I have even requested that my call be returned, only to never hear from the company. I find it funny that if you have an account online, they dont allow you to cancel your service online but allow you to add services, etc. They make it IMPOSSIBLE to change, reschedule, or cancel a service. In my opinion, there are other great local lawn-care businesses that care about your experience that are worth your time. Trugreen is NOT one of them.

I had my law aeration done by them with what was supposed to be seeding of my back yard. I was charged $133 for what I assumed was both only to find out that s only for aeration. This place is way to expensive. Other landscaping/ lawn service companies in my area do aerations for a third of the price. I have learned my lesson and will not use this company anymore.

No soliciting means no soliciting. Don t lie and say you re there servicing the neighbor when I literally saw a different company 2 days ago doing work next door.

Worst communication ever. Days have gone by with promised call backs within 15 minutes and they never happen. You cannot even call the local shops as all calls route to the national non-customer service help call center, that dont answer their phones after hours on hold, and dont call you back either. I keep getting texts from TruGreen telling me about service coming out the next day, but its for services that I dont have with them! I cant call them to get it straightened out either because (see paragraph 1). For my last service (which was pre-paid), I got billed to my credit card anyways. After sending an e-mail to TruGreen (the ONLY way to communicate with someone), they said an additional service was added on at the time, and that was why I was billed. I NEVER authorized an additional service and wouldnt have agreed to pay for it either! Yet after several days of waiting, still no more responses from TruGreen about that anymore, and no refund. I have a pre-paid service for killing the ground completely (rock drive way) thats supposed to start again tomorrow, yet now the system is telling me my Tree Service is starting tomorrow. Yet again - impossible to reach anyone to address this problem!!! The heck with TruGreen. I am beyond done with them. Im thinking suing is the only way to get my money back at this point since they refuse to ever talk to a customer anymore.

I signed up for this service a month ago to get the grass in my backyard green again. The specialist that was suppose to come out couldn t find my address and just cancelled the scheduled request, even though I have my preferred contact number in their system for them to call me. I ve had to sit through hours worth of their automated calls to speak with some to correct this issue and have scheduled four times (so far) and each time the representative that I speak to has told me that if they get lost again that they will call me, which instead of a call I just receive a notification that the technician has cancelled yet again. Horrible service.

Just canceled my service. Paid to have them treat my rocks so weeds DONT GROW IN THE FIRST PLACE! All they do is walk around and spray the few baby weeds that are there at the time of service. There are no weeds then because I am constantly picking them every week when I mow the lawn. USELESS!

I m a skeptic turned believer. I have used the Scott s 4 Step program for 2 seasons up until this year. I just couldn t get it to tame an out of control clover issue. Clover was taking over large portions of my backyard. I saw an ad for a half-priced weed control treatment this Summer, and even though I m really skeptical about products promising dramatic change, TruGreen turned me into a believer. After one treatment I started noticing the clover dying off, after 3 treatments I m having a hard time finding any clover in my yard. Pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of this product. I m sold for sure.

Do not use this company ever. We did. Our contract was for FRONT lawn only and to come out on THURSDAY only. They showed up on a Friday afternoon and went into my backyard where they had an altercation with one of my dogs and hit him. Well first of all they were there on a wrong day and and in the backyard. So technically they were trespassing on my property and when we tried to call them and talk to a manager they couldnt find one. How convenient. We called for hours and left emails but no one ever returned our calls or emails. They are overpriced and didnt help my lawn at all and trespassed on my property. Worst company ever.

My father committed suicide and I had to cancel more then five times and they kept on with the serviceand continuedto trespasson my property for months wile calling me every day to pay a bill for services I had canceled multiple times and still harass to this day the worst services I have ever had in my life

Do not trust this company!!!!! We are retired and having a harder time taking care of our large yard. Michael came by the neighbor hood trying to get customers. I have seen this company in the neighbor hood before and I know they have been around several years, So we decided to go with them and Michael was very nice we wanted to help him by signing up for their special. After more than a month we finally got a call that they were going to come out and we didnt need to be home,they would leave a card on the front door to let us know they were here. We have been home most of the time with the stay at home order for the virus. We never saw them or found a card letting us know that they were here and what they had done. We gave them several days to come and no show!!! We called the office and they told us their guy did come out. We told them there was no sign that they had been here and we were home watching for them . Then they told us the guy had went to the wrong house. They then set us up to come out four days later. We didnt trust that they would be out,but gave them another chance .We stayed home all day watching ,listening and waiting to make sure we didnt miss them . We were even in the front yard painting our fence and also in the back all morning. They did not come at all!!! We call the next morning and the lady said well they were there at 8:30 Am . Maybe we just didnt see them. There was no way we would not have seen them. It would have also taken them a while to do our big yard. So they said they could come out the next day. We told them we were done with them and want to cancel our service. We are suppose to get a refund . We will see. They need to get rid of the guy that keeps telling them he was here. There was no sign anything had been done and we were here all the time and would not have missed him. We will never tell anyone to use this company. We will do our yard ourselves or have family help us. I would give them a -0 if I could !!!!!

We received numerous text messages and emails about upcoming device dates/times with none of them consistent or reliable. We were told to expect someone between 7 and 12, then precisely between 9:45 and 10:30, then again at an imprecise time, then nobody showed up at 12, 12:30, 12:45 despite repeated texts to management. Canceled credit card payments and service. Shop local. ALL the bad reviews are accurate.

Payed over $500 for lawn and irrigation services, zero communication from anyone!!! Sales person gladly took my $ never followed up... called to ask questions , was put on hold 5 times... never a call back!! Supervisor was requested and no response. BBB will be contacted.

Requested service 8 days ago. Was told 3 days, then 2 days, then no more than one week. Still no service or a call or the promised email to set up the date/time. I asked about the free visits that was posted on their website and they said the marketing folks messed up. They took that advertisement down but I still have a snapshot of it and and also shows a free visit on google I saw today, took a snapshot of that too...guaranteed they ll blame someone else. Still no service yet they created me an account and took my card # for payment. I see now why the terrible reviews.

Do not waste your money! I hired TruGreen thinking it would save me time with fertilizing my lawn. Our lawn looked terrible all summer. Greenish-yellow and when I called the company, the rep stated it was due to the heat. My neighbors lawns looked very green and they dont use a professional lawn company. I fertilized our lawn 4 days ago and its already looking green, the best its looked all summer.

I did not go looking for True Green. They knocked on my door one week after moving in. I have a very smal yard that was in pretty good shape but I also live in Colorado Springs and have sprinkler system for my first time. Watch the pop up sprinklers I could easily tell that they did not pop up high enough. So when the True Green rep dropped by I said why not. I was told by Colin that they have a new resident special. I was quoted a price. Some for the yard work and $149 for the sprinkler system which included repair service, winter blow out and a spring/summer open service. So we had the yard done three times. No issues other that I never knew they were coming ahead of time and would just get a bill on the app. Then we had one below freezing day. So I Called to see when the repair and blowout would happen. They said it was scheduled. They 2 weeks later Colin calls me again asking me if I wanted the new special for $89 to do all of the above. I asked what s the catch he said none. Just a good paying customer discount and for me being patient.they schedule for today. I looked on app and saw it was a no show. I called the lady the. Was really nice and said it was scheduled for tomorrow. I asked about the price and now she tells me $149 for all the above service. And hour later and her lady calls me and tells me because their person left it s 3x 89 for each visit. It was a high of 32 f all day and as low as 19. And that the norm for the next 4 days. So I ask when are they coming. They say tomorrow. I remind them of the price. And the repair because by then most likely it s all frozen. They tell me they lost their person and now it s going to cost me 3x $89. Whoa. I checked and all my pipes are frozen hope nothing blows up. I want everyone to know True Green has no integrity, and is not dependable. A big rip off. Do not do True Green Colorado Springs

I never leave bad reviews but this one needs to be done. I hired this company for three separate sprinkler blow outs. They were confirmed two days prior and then no one showed up. I was never altered by the company and have three homeowners who are unhappy they do not have winterized sprinklers. When I called to ask what happened they said no one was home when they showed up (one of these addresses is an office that is open 8-5) which is untrue. The other property had instructions to access through the rear gate and confirmed that the dogs were put up. Use a different blow out service.

Dont answer the phone! These guys are a big time scam. They will harass you. I showed a little interest and they ended up showing up at my house and put warning flags in my front yard and a sorry we miss you... Tag. Then sent me a bill... I never signed to authorize service, they came out and sprayed chemicals all over my lawn where my kids play... without my permission. Took me months to get my yard back... its like they poisoned my yard so it would be worse and need them in the future. Then theyve been calling me for over a year and STILL sending me bills even after talking with a manager about this. Hey truegreen - Get the f#¢ off my lawn and go burn in hell. Youre poisoning the places where kids play without homeowners even signing off. They never even knocked.. just sprayed my yard and put a door hanger. I know because I have a camera and my wife was home. Sales people are still calling me to this day. Still thinking of using these guys? Just search trugreen BBB in Google. I also suggest researching the chemicals they use, many of which are banned in other countries Like I said, dont even pick up the phone. SCAM!!

I had really nice grass, i hired them to help and they killed my grass. I would give this company a 0 star review but unfortunately i cant. Now Im forced to work even harder on my yard then i wad previously. And Ever since i cancelled they tru calling me all the time wanting me to sign back up. Trugreen has worked so well for our lawn. It wasn t too bad to begin with but those darn stubborn dandelions were popping up faster than we could treat or pull them. They took care of the weeds and bonus, our lawn is the most lovely shade of green and I get compliments all the time.

Have shown up on day of appointment and were very professional in their appearance and taking care of business.

Its been a month since our first treatment and I can say that it truly helped thicken and green up our lawn. We had a few trouble spots ( we have 4 dogs), and they are filling in nicely even without reseeding. Would recommend TruGreen highly!

Last year I had nice grass there were a few dead spots. The trugreen sale person told me all I had to do is buy their services and they would fix it and the yard would look 100x better. Well the grass came up this year in the front and the back yard, and it looks like someone burned it. Dead spots everywhere. The back yard looks so bad I am going to have to put sod down to fix it. I will never use this service again. Very disappointed, especially because I am planning on selling this house. Now I cant sell it until I fix the yard.

TruGreen was a true disappointment. Ive used them before for lawn care and our lawn looked just okay. This time I decided I would give them a chance to repair our sprinklers. I pre-paid for the service (big mistake) and scheduled a visit. On the day that they were supposed to arrive, between the hours of 12 to 5, no one showed up or called. I called at 5:30 PM and the Support Center said that they were busy and probably still on their way. When I called again at 7:30 PM, I was told that if it gets dark then they wont come. So again, I waited and no one showed up or called. The next day, I stayed home again. Surely they would come since they didnt make it the day before. Right? When I called the Support Center, I was told they were not going to come out and it would be two weeks before they could get there. Seriously? At this point I told them that I no longer wanted their service and wanted a refund. As a special treat, I was told it would take ten business days before the refund would appear in our account. Never again. If you are looking for sprinkler repair or services, look locally.

I contacted this company, was quoted and paid for lawn and sprinkler service. Then heard nothing for 2 weeks, was given the run around and nothing happened. Then I heard from some rando who said he worked for the company and had all my information but no record of the service I scheduled and paid for. He told me that everything I had been told was wrong and then charged me again for what I already for. Needless to say I cancelled everything and demanded my money back. Best case scenario, these people are incompetent. Worst case : SCAM. Do not hire these people.

I called two weeks ago to have someone come and turn on sprinkler system. I was told it would take 3-5 days for a callback to schedule. I never had a callback. Today I get a text saying tech is at my home, unable to do the service. Please hire competent people to answer the phone and schedule services. Worst customer service.

TruGreen should not be spraying nitrogen and herbicides when it is windy. It has been well documented that fertilizer runoff and herbicide exposure is toxic to insects, fish and amphibians, AND PEOPLE. I asked the TruGreen employee to wait until the wind died down. He laughed at me and told me he needed to do his job. This company seems only interested in profit, not sustainability or respect for human health.

THEY DONT SHOW UP!!! They scheduled to visit my house between 7am and noon and that I had to be present so they could access my sprinkler box. I stayed home from work so I could get my sprinklers fixed and then Id go to work a little late. They didnt show up so at 12:30PM I called and they assured me he was still coming but running late. At 3:30 I called again and they told me he was still coming. At 4:30 I called again because I had to leave to go pick up my kid from school. The assured me again that he was coming and they would tell him to call me. They didnt show up at all, and I never got a call, and when I checked online they had cancelled my appointment. They didnt even call to let me know. I called the next morning and they said they could reschedule but there wasnt another opening for a few weeks. I lost an entire days worth of pay, waiting for these guys and they couldnt even bother to let me know what was going on. AWFUL company. Dont use them.

very bad customer experience. I signed up last year and there, there was a lot of confusion between the field and office on the services I ordered. Jackson C is great and he is currently doing week control. Another issue is that I wanted my rocks sprayed with weed control. I called customer service line and Im still waiting for a call. Not to mention that someone else called to try to upsell me, but was no help and told me that he sant a memo out for some one to call me. No one has called to this day. Im wondering if I should into another company to get my rocks sprayed with week control.... very frustrated as I watch my weeds grow and dont have time to pull them....

I think they spayed weed grower on my lawn. I prepaid for the service and canceled while they still owed me a treatment just to get rid of these people. My lawn has more weeds now then before they started. Wouldnt recommend this company.

Got their weed and lawn care service and kept it for a few months. The weeds were handled but i was told rocks and a area blocked off by brick would be another charge. decided id handle that area myself. then no lawn change in backyard at all. spots in front never got any better and i never got any info or talks about my yards progress or plan. But they gave me calls about up selling everything and anything. maybe if they focused on keep customers happy instead of asking them to get more service, they might be good.

Was quoted a price for two specific services for the end of 2019. Had also cancelled the auto-pay option, but come to find out, the auto-pay was not cancelled and a service was provided with a text notification right before the application, and it was one that was not even requested. Was then told that the unwanted application was 60 dollars. The service was for an 84 year old mans lawn with health conditions (which Ive heard this happening a lot with this company, even from previous employees). Absolutely ridiculous, and you dont even provide a local phone number, so I spoke with a person in Salt Lake City UTAH and was only able to cut the cost of the unwanted service in half. This is on you guys, and you have lost a customer. Taking advantage of people is pretty shady, especially the elderly.

Dude! Stop freaking calling me. No means no

In March of 2018 the came unannounced and provided two services in one week. The tech left no bill or notification at my door stating services had been provided. The areation was done when the ground was still hard and provided no benefit. I received no apology from the company even after filing a complaint with the BBB. They continued to send bills and threats. Please stay away from Trugreen.

One of the worst companies I have dealt with. Their salesmen promised that they would get rid of my weeds. Attached is a 5 gallon bucket almost filled to the top of weeds while my lawn had been under their care for a year. I didnt even finish weeding my entire yard. A week later I pulled out almost as many weeds. $600 spent and they cant even keep their promise. I call in and complain about weeds they say it takes 10 days for the treatment to work. Wait 10 days there are still weeds in the yard, you call back and then it takes 2 weeks to get someone to come back. That is right about the time you have to pay for another service. Then when they aerated my yard they caused $100 in damage to my sprinkler system. Of course you dont know this until the next spring when you turn your sprinklers on again. By that time you arent sure what caused the problems. They use high pressure sales to suck you into their service and dont even deliver what they promise.

Very disappointed in this company. Unqualified technicians who are only interested in up-selling customers on new products. Had one technician tell me that I had mites in my lawn and they had a treatment available, then the next technician came and said I dont have mites. Glad I didnt pay for the extra service, especially since their treatments are very expensive. Tried several times to get in touch with manager of local branch, but customer service wont connect you directly to local office. Company put new seed on my lawn which was not compatible with my existing lawn without asking me, now my lawn looks like several different breeds and horrible. Technician told me the only way to fix it was to kill everything and start over. Requested general manager to call me, which resulted in a visit to my house while I was at work and a note that the manager didnt see anything wrong, but he wouldnt call me as requested. Very disappointed in this company and highly encourage anyone looking for lawn treatment service to look elsewhere. I will never do business with this company again.

Unreliable, dishonest and the worst customer service

Called them numerous times on my tree. No response. Calls go through a call center in Utah. You dont talk to local people on the phone. Had to drive to their office to get service. Sad. They used to be real good. Update: when by address in phone book, its now atlas charter school. Are they out of business?

Trugreen came by in April and talked us into a basic service, however our lawn was still full of weeds and half dead the entire summer. We called to end our service and they offered a free application to see if it made a difference.... It didnt, and then they did another application without asking and billed us for it. They also had terrible customer service when I called to talk about it.

Worst company. I stayed home for a sprinkler tech. No one called or showed up. They charged my credit card but didnt show up like scheduled. I was told I would get a phone call within 48hours. All I received was a message for aeration. Which is not what I scheduled. They lack communication within their own offices. They have been here in the past several times and my lawn is still brown with weeds. What a dissatisfaction. Small claims is my next recourse of action.

Do not trust this company, they did unauthorized service at our house and charged use for it. Called them to inform them about there mistake and they refused to reverse the charges.

Worst company , terrible service , I call to cancel after a year of contract they offer me 1 more time without cost I say yes and after one month they charge me , when I call they have in notes that I call to cancel but I accept continue with the service with a 50% discount also They are scammers and thieves in addition to having a terrible service that does not work.

Very disappointed on letting me know when they are coming and when theypromote something and you set it up its not fully set up and youre waiting for a call to verify and they sometimes never call you back then they charge you $89 for sprinkler blowout when youre supposed to be set up for a $30 blowout Im still waiting for the remaining money back of $59. They are very hard to get ahold of when somebody calls you and ask them by name. I would not recommend these people. My yard looks good just dissapointed on communication
