Timberline Landscaping in Colorado Springs

Initially, we hired Timberline to remove several dying trees from our yard. They were professional beginning with the estimate through to completion. That experience was so easy that we began a conversation on improving the appearance of the front yard with an emphasis on water conservation. Each stage was well managed. I especially appreciated the regular site visits by the designers and their genuine interest in my concerns. And, the crew was exceptionally hardworking, tidy and friendly! 5 Stars for sure!

I had a problem with my landscape lighting and Kevin went above and beyond to fix and improve it! I didn t know where to turn and I am so glad I called Timberline! I will be calling them again to add more lighting!

When it came time to replace our driveway, we wanted to work with a reputable company. I imagine we could have gotten a less expensive job, but we only wanted to do the driveway one time. The crew couldnt have done a better job. We were impressed with their dedication to doing a great job and their skills to make that happen. Everyone walking by comment to us when we are in the yard as to how much they like our driveway. Yeah, a driveway! It is functional, gorgeous and a huge improvement. Doing pavers is also about getting the underlying structures done properly: sculpting, grading, gravel base with 3 sizes and a pattern on top that doesnt look like a pattern. Win!

Weve worked with Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon in the past, before they were acquired by Timberline. We were always happy the service we received from the BR crew but that is no longer the case. I keep meticulous notes of every contact I have with contractors (Ive been burned in the past), so know that this is an accurate portrayal. Any attempt to dispute them is further lying and/or gaslighting. 5/2/24 : called about a tree that partially blew over from strong winds. Inundated with calls, they wouldnt be able to assess for a few days. I got my chainsaw out and cut it down myself, but we still wanted the branches and larger pieces removed. 5/8/24: Albert from Timberline comes. We say we just want the removal of the branches. He offers stump grinding, and they would haul the branches away at the same time. In his words we might as well have the stump ground because well be out here anyway. We agreed and get a contract, but only see the stump getting ground. Since weve worked with the past company (pre acquisition) we trusted them - our mistake. 6/12/24: No communication since 5/8. Never given a date or notification despite mentioning that we have dogs and would need to ensure are put away before workers come. We were out of town and saw on our cameras someone going into our yard. A neighbor confirmed it was Timberline. 6/24/24: We return and notice the stump was ground but the branches were still there. We had another Timberline crew coming to do separate landscaping later that week, so we thought maybe they would combine the work. 6/25/24: I called Timberline and left a message with the receptionist asking for Albert to call me. She said hed be back in the office around 2 or 3pm and would call me then. 6/26/24: No call from Albert, so I called and asked again. Again Im told hell call me later that afternoon. At this point, the other crew is here and working, so Im trying to confirm if they will be handling the request. 6/27/24: Still no call from Albert. I call and again leave a message for him to please call me back, specifically noting that theres a crew actively working in our yard. 7/1/24: During the final walkthrough with our landscaping PM from Timberline I asked her about the branches. This wasnt her department but would pass the message along. Later I get a call from Albert. He tells me he was told the other crew would take care of the branches. I told him this didnt happen, and the crew is gone now. He apologizes for his mistake and will have someone come take the branches. Because of the holiday mid-week, he tells me it likely wont happen this week, but at the latest the week of 7/8. 7/31/24: Branches are still here. Never heard anything further from Albert. I call again and get put through to Albert. I tell him that at this point Im pissed, that its been over 4 weeks since he last spoke with me and told me theyd handle it. Albert backpedals and tells me he never said theyd handle the branches and they only did the work outlined in the work order. I pointed out that he told me twice that he would remove the branches. He said it doesnt matter what he said because its not on the work order. He then said he never would have told me that in the first place because it requires different equipment; I dont doubt that, but again, I take meticulous notes when interacting with contractors and have the evidence he did say this. Albert offers to come back out that day and take a look and will call me either that night or the following day. 8/1/24: Albert calls saying he can remove the branches but it will be $150 minimum. I asked why he told me it would be included and again he gaslit me claiming he didnt say that. UPDATE: After posting this review, Timberline sent a crew out to chip and remove the debris.

Ashely and her project manager and crew gave me an AMAZING garden for my backyard, and made my dead grass plot in my front yard look amazing! The crew quickly set up my sprinklers, planted my trees and plants, and Ashley was there throughout the entire process. Im so glad I called them!!

Timberline was exceptional from beginning to the end of the project. From the proposal process to the final walk through, the team led by Lauren Leskovac and Kevin Hunt were very responsive and went out of their way to make sure the appropriate experts came out and dealt with our various needs. I would highly recommend them and would hire them for our future landscaping needs.

From design to plant, tree and shrub selection to cost and overall quality, Timberline delivered. I would highly recommend Timberline as I have been impressed and am pleased with the entire process. I live in an area where a number of neighbors are putting in their landscaping, so I have seen how other companys work. After the design phase was complete, the implementation team came out to turn it into a reality. They were quick and more organized than others Ive seen. Timberline Landscaping led by Albert Godec and his assistant John went above and beyond in spraying my pine trees on Friday, August 2. Being short-handed due to an illness of a worker, Albert took on the responsibility of making this happen as this was the only day i could get it done due to the installation of new windows on our residence. Albert also did bark injection on 7 trees which he has done for us for a couple of decades. This service was 5 stars out of a possible 5. Thank you Timberline for a great service experience!! We engaged with Timberline to fully landscape our newly built home in Forest Lakes. This was a major undertaking involving multiple acres of land around our property, including lighting. Our landscape designer Elysa was wonderful to work with and put together a plan that truly complements and enhances our newly built home. And Kevin on the lighting front did a phenomenal job bringing all our landscaping and property to life at night, while maintaining the all the dark sky requirements of the area. Every Timberline employee who came onto our property was not only professional and courteous, but it was clear that they took great pride in their work. The end result is a landscape that not only has greatly impressed us as the owners, but everyone that comes to our home is truly impressed by what Timberline has accomplished. Cant thank them enough for creating the perfect surrounding for our dream home. And a shout out to Sam and Taylor in the landscape maintenance department for helping us to keep this beautiful landscape, and our property in general, thriving.

On June 28, 2024, Timberline sent a crew of 4 people to remove 5 large fir and pine trees at our house. They did an excellent job cutting down and hauling away some challenging trees that were large in diameter, about 50 feet tall, and close to my house. They all worked very hard to get the job finished in one day. I thought their charge was reasonable and would recommend them to others. Bill

Maintenance and treatments are always as scheduled and our lawn is incredibly prideful. We recommend Timberline to everyone that asks how we keep it all looking so great! In the past year, in addition to our maintenance agreement, we contracted with Timberline and worked with designer, Lauren Leskovac, to create a new outdoor space with walkways, dry beds, Colorado tolerant plantings, and a water feature. The project presented challenges, but was managed well from start to finish. Lauren was trustworthy and professional, and unlike other designers we had consulted with, listened and understood our vision. We are so pleased with the final result!

From start to finish we were impressed with Lauren and the crew who did the landscape. Lauren created a great design and was available throughout the process with any questions we had. We love the job they did and would not hesitate to recommend their work.

I used Timberline Landscaping for a complete landscaping install, lighting and I am in a first year maintenance contract. This review is only for the lighting. I will review the others later. Kevin and his team is top notch. They were extremely helpful with recommendations, patient as we made many revisions and communicated through the entire process. They made sure that we were satisfied with the end product before attempting to obtain final payment. I would certainly recommend them for your landscape lighting needs.

Hopefully their work is better than their drivers watch one of their drivers almost run a car off the road today over off of the bridge by I-25 however judging by the completely bumper I cant say they do. If their workers are this Reckless their work is probably equally shoddy

We had Andrew do our deep root feeding today on all our trees and shrubs and he did a great job. He was thorough and very professional. Deep root feeding tremendously keeps your trees and shrubs healthy and strong. We do it every year in the late spring.

I appreciate the professionalism of Timberline Landscaping. Ive used their services for years. Andrew fertilized my trees last week. He did a great job and was a clear, friendly communicator.

There is no way I would consider hiring this company after how their designer treated my wife & I. We are looking to redo our entire backyard complete with walkways, steps, turf & a retaining wall & have spent the last month getting estimates from different companies. Timberline was the second to come out & take a look. Right off the bat they made it sound like they weren t interested, she told me that she could come out & take a look but her design fee was $2k & their minimum was $20k for a job. The female designer (can t remember her name) did not even bother to bring a catalog of materials or examples of prior work & didn t even bring a notebook or anything else with her. She spent all of 4 minutes with us. She asked us what we were looking to do & as I explained it to her she didn t seem interested at all, she didn t ask any follow up questions or interject any ideas except to ask what our budget was. I explained it to her that we were getting a HELOC & our budget was somewhat flexible, we had no idea what this was going to cost which was why we were getting estimates from different companies, she then asked if we had gotten any estimates back yet & I told her yes & how much it was ($19k). She looked me dead in the eye & said we re going to be too expensive for you, we have a lot of overhead & there s no way we can beat that . She didn t bother asking what that other estimate included or anything else, she just stood there staring at us & then said something about making sure the ground got prepped , & then she started to leave. That s it. No sales pitch, no follow up questions about the other estimate, no attempt whatsoever to get our business. Just today a competitor of theirs spent over an hour with us discussing the particulars of what we want, interjecting ideas of her own, discussing specific materials, drawing out some sketches etc & discussed with us why the other estimate was likely as low as it was. Turns out our job is going to be $50-$70k. You guys only want the big jobs, ok, message received. There s an old adage that goes if you don t take care of your customers someone else will & someone else is going to take care of us.

Andrew, was fantastic in explaining what the mixture was and how they do it. He was very careful when driving on my 5 acres. we were very pleased with Andrews service, he was very polite and friendly.

We had such a great experience with Timberline. Elysa designed a beautiful landscape for our yard. She was super responsive, and met all the details we had requested in her design. The install crew were also fantastic, from the morning to the end of day, they were efficient, courteous, and we really appreciated the above-and-beyond cleanup they did each evening. I would absolutely recommend Elysa and the entire Timberline team!

In regard to tree spraying: Andrew arrived on time, explained the process clearly, answered our questions and most importantly did a very though spraying of all our pine trees. He made sure to spray all the way to the top of our Ponderosas and inside the branches to reach the main trunk.

Andrew and his partner (couldn t read the name) did a great job. Andrew also answered my questions about the environmental impact of the chemicals used. While I wish I didn t have to spray my trees at all, I m very pleased that Timberline has such knowledgeable, professional and personable staff.

Andrew did a nice job today spraying the trees for beetles. He was friendly and made the effort to say hello. Timberline has been great to work with over several years. They are good at emailing reminders of service but they dont hard sell.

This was our first experience with Timberline spraying our spruce trees for Gall and White Pine weevil control. Andrew, our sevice provider, was knowledgeable and skilled at his job. He was refreshingly polite and friendly!! We are very pleased.

Andrew and the guys were courteous and upbeat! They turned the whole tree to dust and cleaned it up nice.

So far so good. We had yard clean up, and they are very detailed and efficient. Jake gets back with us immediately when ever we have some new ideas for the yard. Will update review after next go round, but to date we highly recommend them.

Zack, Jacob and Dave did a fantastic job taking down a 30 dead Blue Spruce for me. They were fast, efficient and cleaned up the site and made sure I was satisfied with the job. Highly recommend.

Kevin designed and installed our beautiful driveway and landscape lighting. In addition to the aesthetic appeal, it also made our steep driveway safer at night. Additionally, he had to ensure the lighting met our dark sky neighborhood requirement. Timberline Landscaping is fortunate to have Kevin.

Kevin Hunt and the Timberline Landscape lighting team did a FANTASTIC job on my home lighting project! We live on a 10 acre homestead with an extensive front and back yard, and Kevin did a great job working with me on the lighting design. He did the installation in two parts. I was hoping to have it done in time for a big party we were hosting, and he made that happen. Shortly after the installation, we were mowing the grass and did some minor damage to the cords. He came out right away and repaired it. I could not be more pleased, and highly recommend Kevin and his team for your lighting needs.

When we built our new home last year, we were referred to Timberline Landscaping by someone in the new subdivision who used them for their landscaping. We were connected to Lauren who helped us with our design. I already had a design in mind, but I needed professional help to complete it. Lauren was very patient with me and all my questions. When I was told that we could no longer get the rock I really wanted, I was heartbroken and reluctantly settled for another type of rock. Shortly after, Lauren contacted me and told me that she had found the Cripple Creek Ore elsewhere. I was elated!! You would think that rock would not make a big difference to a person, but with the amount of rock we were going to put in our yard, I was really happy that Lauren found what I wanted and I did not have to settle for something else. She went above and beyond!! The crew got to work on the scheduled day and showed up every day on time and worked hard throughout the day and cleaned up after themselves every day. Piles of rock and dirt were not left out on the street for weeks on end as I have seen with some other landscapers working in the area. In a week and a half, I had a beautiful front and back yard. I can hardly wait for everything to come alive in my yard this spring!!

Zack and David trimmed several of our trees today. They did a fantastic job. They were very professional and knowledgeable, made sure we understood what they would be doing, thoroughly cleaned up the yard, and made sure we agreed that they had completed all of the tasks we had hired them to complete. We couldn t be more pleased and would definitely recommend them to others.

Timberline gave me a fair price, showed up when promised, and did an excellent job pruning 4 trees. The pruners gave me tips on how to keep my trees healthy and were very professional. I plan to use this company again.

Timberline is a great company to work with. I know nothing about tree trimming and didn t want to attempt to clean up our maple and crabapple trees. Taylor was able to come out quickly to assess the work and their team showed up sooner than I anticipated to get the work done. I wanted to eliminate the grass in my median, so I no longer had to mow or water that area. I also wanted to clean up the ragged edges along the front of my yard. I had gotten four estimates for my project, but Ashley was the only one who listened to what I wanted. She met with me three times to go over the plans and answer all my questions. Saul and his team did a great job. They were polite, prompt, and professional. They cleaned up every night before going home and did a great final clean-up when the job was done. I get a lot of compliments on my landscaping and am happy to recommend Timberline.

Timberline arbor division just completed servicing 44 building HOA my company manages. Pruned more than 100 trees damaged by May 2022 snow storm. Work completed on time on budget and with gratitude.

We found Lauren Leskovac quick to answer our questions about maintenance. She and her team did most of the work while we were off site and did it to our satisfaction. We are looking forward to a low maintenance landscape in front and natural grasses in the back.

We used Timberline to do our original landscaping and, because we had such a great experience, we decided to use them again to do our Xeriscaping. We are so glad we did! Ashley, our Design/Sales contact, created a very attractive design that incorporated all of our requirements and was within our budget. She then oversaw the design installation to ensure all aspects of the plan were completed. The installation crew was also excellent. They did high quality work on schedule, were friendly and easy to work with, and treated our property (and our neighbors property) with respect. We were kept apprised of the progress and, in the event an issue surfaced, it was addressed immediately. The entire experience was outstanding from beginning to end. We have been clients of Timberline for years. Many times we have been pleased with the results and other times they have failed to produce work up to their standards. Often they are expensive with mediocre results. Last year the decorative flower pots they planted for the summer were outstanding and we looked forward to them again this year. I have included pictures of the disappointing overpriced effort they made this year. Do better friends, get a consistent product and service standard.

I can t say enough about Taylor, the arborist and Tony, the person who sprays for weeds. They are both very accommodating and generous with their time and knowledge. Taylor has helped us learn how to take care of our trees and explained why we were losing some of our trees and what we can do to stop the loss. Tony was successful in eradicating spurge that was a huge problem. He will now be coming out to spray our thistle. Costs for this eradication is reasonable. In sum, I highly recommend Timberline Landscaping and their employees for their excellent service.

Timberline has been my go to landscape provider for years and I have always been more than satisfied with their landscape ideas and solutions. They have always come through for us. Recently (past two years), I have been working with Jake Jarvis (residential landscape manager) who has worked wonders at our place. With the recent downpours we ve had we ended up with a lot of damage. Jake came through with solutions that actually worked and held up. I hope Jake stays there a long time.

I recently had the privilege of working with Taylor and the crew of Timberline Landscaping not just at one residence, but two! They were ALL Fantastic! Truly professional in every respect! They showed up right on time (I traveled back-n-forth to both locations throughout the day.) and when the one crew finished at their site, they showed-up at the other to help complete that job as well. Kudos to not only Taylor for pulling it all together, but to Andrew, Joel, Zack, Dave, Frank, Dillion and Everardo as well! I spent nearly 33 years in the Air Force and these two crews performed like they ve been working together for Years! If you need someone to cut and trim back trees, look no further!!! Grossly EXPENSIVE with mediocre results...I agree! When you complain they offer to plant more or better flowers for an additional fee. Amateurs can do better!

Zack and Dave arrived on-time, assessed my needs, and treated my tree expertly. They were friendly and left the site clean. I strongly recommend Timberline.

I contacted Timberline Landscaping to remove a cottonwood tree we had near our driveway. As someone with seasonal allergies, that thing was a nightmare. It had also started to grow tall enough to obstruct our solar panels, leading to less solar energy produced. I contacted Taylor, and he was very responsive and helpful. He was able to get a crew to my home very quickly. Per my husbands request they left a 6-8 trunk just as we asked. Upon further conversation with my husband, that was not what he wanted. After all the rain we received this season , the tree started growing little sproutlings and the roots went crazy with sproutlings throughout my yard and neighbors yard. Due to this, I reached out to Taylor for some advice on how to kill the roots and explained to him the misunderstanding between my husband and I. That same week he had the same person return to remove the trunk, and poison the stump. When Joel arrived he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He also advised me on how to get rid of the sproutlings, and to keep up with cutting or pulling them from the yard. I highly recommend Timberline Landscaping, and also suggest that when they do the work at your home, you be present so they can answer any questions you may have. Thank you Taylor and Joel!

Cant review their actual work as I havent had and and wont now. One of their trucks with a trailer just pulled into traffic in front of us then proceeded into a lane change with no turn signals. Wont support any company that tolerates porr driving in their vehicles.

This is our second experience with Timberline Lamdscaping coming to our home to trim our trees. Having them come out to assess the property and get us an estimate is always super easy. Joel and his team have come out both times to do the actual work and they are professional, prompt, and super friendly with regards to answering any questions we might have. For the 8th year in a row, I used Timberline for Christmas lights. They are fantastic. The price doesnt increase but the lights seem better than ever. Anyways, they look fantastic and I dont spend gobs of money.. They were installed quickly and Dave, whos in charge, always goes over everything in detail and always sets the timer and reviews how to use it. Good for me as Im tech challenged. Dave is great......and so were his 5 employees that worked hard. Also, I chose to do business with them because the Sales Manager, Kevin Hunt, listened carefully to what we wanted and then, with no pressure, presents a plan, every year that we like. Taylor scheduled Andrew, Dave and Dylan for a days worth of trimming and clean-up work. The team was well-equipped with safety gear, and the proper equipment and tools. They did a great job, and completely cleaned up every area they touched. Taylor made a follow-up visit, providing some additional education and insight about the trees on our new-to-us property. We will certainly call Timberline for all our future tree needs.

Andrew, Zach and Dave did a great job. They completed the job exactly as discussed and in the previously allotted amount of time. They cleaned up the property nicely after the job as well. I highly recommend them and will hire them again as needed.

Great place.

I called this company to have some sprinkler repair done as well as some general yard clean-up. I was told that the company doesnt do landscaping or repairs under a certain dollar amount. Apparently residential customers are just out of luck. I explained that the previous landscaping company had done a poor job and I was looking for a reputable company to do a better job and perhaps spend money on projects in the future if I was satisfied with results. This company apparently doesnt care about repeat business, referrals, or word of mouth business. The person I talked to on the phone was arrogant, not at all sympathetic to my problem, and threatened me if I put a review online about his company. Guess what Mike, I just put a review online.

The Timberline tree crew did a great job of removing my huge elm trees and grinding down all the stumps in record time!. They were very professional and courteous as well. They took great care with my home and yard and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. And the price was very competitive.Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree services!

We had Timberline Landscaping out to do a renovation of our backyard landscaping and install an outdoor Gazebo. I can t speak to their landscaping skills, but their driving skills are terrifying. I m a wheelchair user and nearly got hit crossing the street because one of the Timberline vehicles pulled out of a parking spot without looking behind them at such a fast speed that I could not get out of the way. I was incredibly fortunate that someone standing on the sidewalk in-front of the vehicle was watching and got their attention... it might be worth teaching your employees how to drive before sending them out in cars covered in your company logo or at least teach them how to apologize when they come within a foot of hitting someone...

Flowers We have used Timberline for Ten (10) years and have always had a good experience. WOW! what a change. This years flowers are not only late but of a very low quality and they do not seem to care. Probably will not use again and definitely not recommend. What happened and dont say COVID as it is not the reason they are cheating their customers.

Timberline Landscaping redesigned our xeriscape in both our front and back yard last month and did a fantastic job. They provided a detailed plan for the yard including new stone steps which were easily approved by our HOA. The work was completed on schedule and the crew cleaned up every day and were very professional. I would strongly recommend Timberline to anyone who is looking to have any sort of landscaping work done.

We have spent the last 4 summers trying and failing to control the erosion issues in our very sloped backyard. Each year we seeded, watered, installed plants, built check dams, dug swales..... all to no avail. When we built the house we had very specific instructions from the geo engineer about controlling the run off and minimizing disturbances to prevent future landslides and the situation was clearly beyond out capabilities to handle. We finally hired a landscape architect to draw plans to address and got bids. Ashley at Timberline was prompt, professional with the initial bid and the negotiations that followed. Not cheap, but the project is well beyond any DIY scope we could take on. We signed the contract, placed the deposit and were on the schedule for a slot late May. The rains delayed things just a bit from the original start date, but well within reason. Tino & crew arrived on Memorial day and jumped right into it. They worked hard and efficiently every day for more than a month. We have the video records to prove it. They hauled the massive Siloam steppers up the hillside, compacting road base underneath, leveling, trimming.... etc. Our project was exceptionally challenging because they had to build the stairs from the top of the hill going down rather than building from the bottom of the hill up requiring the skills of true seasoned professionals to get the order correct every step along the way without compromising the finished product. Tino has an amazing eye for detail and knew exactly where the on paper design needed a bit of adjusting to take things to a whole new level. Lining the edges of the steps with boulders, integrating a few small boulder planters where they naturally fit and running conduit pipes for the drip lines and dozens of other items that we are only now noticing. Over the month of build we had a couple of points of concern. Ashley and Jamie were very quick ad professional to respond, educate and correct course as needed. They were equally patient with our decking contractor who dropped the ball every step along the way. They certainly lost money deal with the decking contractors continual screw ups and never once turned to us to cover the extra costs. Overall we couldnt be happier with the results and will give Timberline (and Tino and crew in particular) our deep felt thanks and professional recommendation any time.

Update: I was contacted by Timberline and they came out and took care of the issues that I had. They were very professional and apologized for the lack of communication from the warranty department. My landscaping looks terrific once again They designed a beautiful layout for our yard and came out a few times to ensure that everything was working as it should. We did have several bushes and plants that did not survive and the gave us a one year guarantee. We called them a few times several weeks before our warranty expired and we never heard back so now I have several dead bushes and plants in my landscaping because they will not return calls or honor their warranty. For what they charged me, I would have expected better service.

My wife and I worked with Timberline to landscape about 1 acre around our newly constructed home in the summer of 2021. Timberlines residential sales team worked closely with us beginning with an initial survey of the lot. We shared a number of ideas, concerns, and desires with the designer. Timberline listened and addressed concerns such as preference for gentle slopes over retaining walls and stairs, retention of large boulders used by builder for soil management, use of trees as wind and visual screens in some areas and numerous others. The initial design used our ideas and laid them out in an elegant and visually appealing manner. The design was conveyed to us by Timberline using large printouts and digital media and after a few meetings and revisions we agreed to a final design. Implementation of the design was conducted by a team of between six and eight landscapers that showed up promptly each weekday and worked industriously through the entire day. There efforts were well coordinated to make progress on the different areas of the plan toward the overall completion. The project manager was introduced and good communications was maintained throughout the project through the sales team. During implementation, the project manager was not onsite regularly; however the crews evidently knew their jobs well and we were always able to coordinate questions and concerns through the sales team efficiently and effectively. Concrete flatwork was subcontracted by Timberline and there was a notable difference between the efficient and regular labor of this subcontractor and Timberline s project staff, though ultimately the flatwork was completed in accordance with the plans and without any delay to the overall project completion and we are very satisfied with the flatwork as implemented. Overall we feel the the completed project greatly enhances the attractiveness and accessibility of the property. Timberline s project team made good recommendations and helped us create a plan and implementation that we expect will bring us many years of enjoyment. The project staff maintained good communication throughout the project and there were no unexpected impacts to the planned budget and schedule. While we had hoped to start our project earlier; Timberline did a good job of estimating the start and completion dates and adhered to the planned schedule. Since finishing the project, there have been a couple of minor warranty issues that have been promptly addressed by the warranty team who we were introduced to during the final walkthrough.

Never have we had such efficient, experienced tree service. Timberline arrived on time with an impressive crew. They climbed over every inch of our very large ash, douglas fir and American elm trees, carefully trimmed what was required and removed all dead material. They also hand-trimmed our 15-foot Colorado blue spruce and did a perfect job. Clean up was excellent! We couldnt be more pleased.

Yard Residential enhancement and Al s Tree Work were both outstanding. They worked hard through the day and left the yard in great shape. Great work!!! Would recommend highly.

Contacted the main office initially about 2 weeks ago after the Dec 10 windstorm for a publicly viewable downed tree. Person took down the info and we never heard back from them. Called again a week later to check status, and the same person answered and said there wasn t a record of us calling, and said it wouldn t be until January to look at the tree. Then called back the next day to say they could come out Tues. Dec 28. No one showed up and finally heard back again today that they were planning for next week. We ended up going with a different company that came out Christmas Eve. very poor communication

After the strong damaging winds a few weeks ago, I had two 50-60 trees that I couldnt handle myself. Timberline was extremely busy during this period but they still got to me relatively quickly and did a great job. They did everything that I asked, and then some. I highly recommend Timberline tree removal.

Placed a phone call yesterday to have a large tree removed from my backyard. I gave them my info, and I was told I would get a return call within 24 hrs to schedule an appointment. Today, I received a call at 830 that I was unable to answer since I was in the shower. A few mintues later, Al showed up unannounced at my home. My wife answered the door, and told him i would be out in 5 minutes. My wife felt disrespected and was looked down on for wanting to remove the tree, and he made a condescending comment regarding her lack of knowledge about trees.. Al left before I could get dressed, less than 5 minutes. . Very unprofessional, impatient and will take my business elsewhere.

We moved to Colorado from Illinois. Not knowing anything about the plants or turf that worked in this climate we decided to go with Ashley and Timberline. Were very happy that we did. Ashley considered our likes and concerns as well as budget. She came up with a beautiful design. The installation process went very smoothly. The team made adjustments for us as we saw the plants go in. Timberline installed a retaining wall, coordinated the installation of a large patio extension and made sure everything was done correctly. They recently met with us approx. thirty days after the install to review the plants/turf and adjusted the sprinkler system for us. Additional reviews are planned throughout the year. Timberlines cost was a bit more than others we considered. However, as weve seen the work of other companies in our area, were glad we decided to go with Timberline. We recommend the company.

Update: As of 1 Aug 19 our issues have been corrected and I feel Timberline did a good job with the repairs and replacements. We live in a low lawn maintenance community and Timberline provided the landscaping and for the most part it looks nice. That being said I have several plants and shrubs that have died and I ve tried for over a month to get it resolved and Timberline will not remedy the issues. I ve called and emailed and unfortunately and for some strange reason, they show no interest in fixing the problem.

Guy showed up an hour past the set time. Kept looking at his watch and phone had another appointment he couldnt be late to. Basically treated us as if we couldnt afford his services. Told us he would call in a week with ideas and quotes and we never heard a word from him. Why would we call if we couldnt afford to have work done?? Very dissatisfied with this company.

We just got our landscaping done in Ivywild. Our house was built in 1907 and the yard hadnt been touched in decades. We had extreme grading and water issues and Timberline fixed everything. Very rude service. Called and ask for hourly rate for snow removal was treated like if iI was ignorant By the receptionist . That they only do bids then im sure on their bids it comes out for plow is a certain amont and snow shovels is another certin amount and it takes this certain amont of hours and they cant give a hourly rate over the phone . Not a good custumer service at all wouldnt recommend their a waste off your time for shopping.

Timberline Landscaping replaced our concrete patio with flagstone and added a flagstone path and complimentary landscaping. Elisa was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to all our questions during the design process. The installation went as planned and we were very impressed by the high quality of the workmanship. It was very labor intensive to place and level the flagstones. We are very pleased with the results.

Very bad service. They Dont listen or care what you want or need during the installation. Ashly was very unconcerned about my concerns and didnt resolve my issues. I then met with the owner, he appeased me and replaced a few plants that they claimed to be fine, but would replace them to make me happy. Its been close to a year now, and I called them about some of the plants that were half dead when they installed them and are now dead. I didnt get a call to meet them at my home. They took it upon themselves to come and inspect and left a note stating (the plants that were half dead when they installed them) are not covered under the warranty. They are happy to plant some for me at my expense. I would never recommend this company. Unfortunately, I was stuck, or I would have changed landscaping companies. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I wanted to share these photos of the drip system from which Timberline installed. I had another land scaping company come out to help me since and they showed me how far away the drip is from the plant, therefore the plants were not getting watered properly, and died.

I call to see if they repaired existing water features and the gal that answered the phone said I dont think so but I really dont know. So I asked if she could refer me to another company that did, I dont have one but referred me to a home advisor type website and said you should be able to find one there. REALLY???

I m a local web designer and I have had landscape clients who want to be the best, but you cannot compete with Timberline Landscaping! Today I witnessed why they are the best in Colorado! While at a commercial facility I watch Ken Garcia gently place rocks around plants like it was his own garden. A few rocks got on the pavement and he made sure each rock and speck of dirt was cleaned up. Ken and other men were working so hard in the heat, but you can tell he loves his job and he represented the company so well. I was parked about 10 feet from a Bobcat that they were using to move material with. They made sure to watch for us and other vehicles! Wow they care about people! Thank you Timberline!

We had a very pleasant experience with Timberline Landscaping! Ashley was great to work with and communication was spot-on! She was always quick to respond to any inquiries we had, and quick to make any changes to the landscaping design to make sure it fit into our budget. They even came back out when we noticed a few areas of our sod were not greening up. The landscapers repositioned the sprinkler heads and replaced the dead sod at no additional costs. We have received many compliments about the work done and three years later it looks better then ever.We have continued to use Timberline for other smaller projects and have been just as pleased. Called to make a appointment for someone to come and do a estimate on what we wanted done to our yard and basically was told to go some were else because they only deal with bigger projects and thet they have a 5,000 dollar minimal for any jobs anf the guys on the phone basically say i am denying you. Sounds to me it is all about the money so if you need landscaping done and you are not looking to spend or have a job done that is under 5,000 go some place else. Pluse the guy sounded very snobby. I hope you loose alot of customers.

We had a very positive experience with everyone at Timberline. From start to finish we were in contact with our designer, Ashley who promptly answered all of our questions. The landscape crew were very organized & efficient & even came up with an idea to deal with a walkway between houses that we were having problems with. We had to wait for a couple of our plants that the nursery was out of stock on but as promised, Timberline returned to plant them. We would highly recommend Timberline Landscaping.

Was cut off by one of there drivers on the road. Confronted them they were drunk and rude. Called there office and they didnt seem to care that they allow drunk drivers. So Id avoid them on the road and avoid there business.

My yard used to look like something out of one of those shows about life after humans, when the earth reclaims its landscape, but no longer! After a very unproductive battle with invading armies of weeds earlier this spring, I realized I could no longer fight them on my own (and that I really didnt want to, either). I finally called Timberline and they put me through to Christy, a residential weed-fighting goddess, who came out to assess the situation. She not only assured me that she and her crews could whip it back into shape, but also honed in on little things I hadnt even noticed (like pruning an out-of-control quince I forgot lived among the weeds). She and a three-person crew arrived Friday morning and set to work. Christy kept me informed via text and phone and by lunch, it was starting to look like how I remembered it had, prior to the Great Weed Invasion of 2017. At the end of the day, there were only a few areas left and Christy was able to schedule a crew for the next day. Also worth noting is that Alicia, who fought the good fight on Friday, came back Saturday - even the scariest of landscapes do not intimidate her! In short, Timberline is a wonderful firm with dedicated employees! They are thorough and personable and have changed my yard from an anxiety-inducing burden to somewhere I actually want to be. I cannot thank them enough and will recommend them to anyone who mentions anything remotely landscape-related.

Bryan Darr from Timberline created a excellent Xeriscape landscaping plan. The skilled, hard working crew worked through cold, wet October days. Regardless, the job was started and completed on time. Our landscape looks great! We highly recommend Bryan and the Timberline crew.

The folks at Timberline were very professional, easy to work with and customer service oriented. I used Timberline to add some sidewalk around my house, expand my rear patio and install a fire pit. In retrospect I wish I had used them to install my original landscaping.

Timberline has a great crew. They are always punctual and take pride in their work. Bryan provides excellent professional suggestions and incorporates the customers vision for the finished result.

I called to have someone come out and look at what I wanted done. Made an appointment and they never showed up.

My experience with Timberline Landscaping was very frustrating. They originally came out to talk about what to do with a brand new piece of land we just built our house on. I Received the quote and everything looked fine and then all the issues started. I told them I wanted crushed red rock like our neighbors had for xeriscaping and a raised wall on the left side of the house since there was a decent slope. They said the raised wall was unnecessary and would be a waste of money. After the contract was signed they sent me the picture of rock they put on the proposal which was wrong and then said they had to use another color which was nothing close to what I originally asked for. The price quote was pretty high so I told them that I would lay the rock and mulch myself, so they adjusted the price to reflect that. I called to ask about when they planned on putting in the plants and shrubs. They informed me that when they adjusted the quote the plants were no longer included and it would be another $1,900, which I never asked for the plants to be taken off of the quote so I said I do not want them to plant the plants for that price. After three days of work and them dropping the rock and mulch off at the house they asked me for the final payment and I took it to them in which I had to ask to receive the 3% back for paying in cash because they conveniently forgot to subtract 3% from the final payment. Now I was really starting to question what I paid for and really feeling like I am getting ripped off so I asked to see a price breakdown and not just a bottom line price. I was told that they do not give pricing breakdowns because they buy everything in bulk. Now furious, I called to complain to the staff and was forwarded to the Operations Manager but they said he was busy and they would give him the message and call me back within the next 24 hours. A week after not getting called back, I called and asked to talk to him again. This time they forward me back to him and I explained how I was confused about why I am being charged $15,000 since I am doing most the labor, the plants were no longer included, they gave me the wrong rock, the cement slab is already cracked, there were still piles of left over material sitting in the lot next to me that they charged me for and said there was not enough product for them to pick up , and the grass was free from when I bought the house. His first words to me after me complaining about everything is that I signed the contract and he couldn t figure out why I was less then pleased with the final product , after complaining for another 20 minutes he said that he would investigate the situation and call me back. A day later, he called back and left a voicemail saying the contract is correct, the cement slab has a warranty on it, and if I have any questions to call him back. Now that winter has come and gone I look at the landscaping and it is a complete mess. The wall I originally wanted to build up the left said of the house that they said I did not need no longer has any rock or mulch left on it as it has all fallen down the incline and is piled against the fence line. The corner of the cement slab still has a chip taken out of the corner and is cracked. I know that I was taken for granted and ultimately ripped off. They received their money and could have cared less about how satisfied I was with the finished product. I was never trying to pay them less money as I did sign the contract but I just wanted a decent product in the end considering I did pay $15,000 excluding the fence. Here I am still frustrated with the lack of customer service from Timberline Landscaping and now looking to hire another landscaping company to come and fix the job they were supposed to do. I will never use this companying again and routinely make sure that everyone that is looking for a landscaping company knows about the experience that I had.
