Do not know the meaning of safety, put my son in danger, needs to learn how to drive how to handle a massive truck when you cut people off and they almost get a wreck. That’s not OK people like that that have no regard for safety probably don’t do their job very well either. Do not use sunflower landscapes they will steal your money and they don’t know anything about safety. They put other peoples lives in danger.
Sunflower does amazing work and great customer service!
They did my landscaping a year ago after price shopping around. All estimates were around the same ballpark but I liked their design and communications the most. A year later there were some minor quality of life issues and some not so minor ones that were not their fault and they still came through and fixed them at no additional charge. Great company and workers.

Just Wow! Everything from start to finish blew me away! First of all, one of the owners himself came out to look at the job. He made a terrific suggestion that we had not thought of (using stone facade instead of Allen block). He said his crews could be out here to do the work in two days. They were there within five minutes of the scheduled time, and the owner--Sheldon--again came out to make sure the crew was set up and good to go. They worked quickly and very meticulously, making sure the foundation was level and the wall was straight. The foreman had several questions for me, and he always came to the front door and rang the door bell. He suggested I make some upgrades while I had the opportunity (e.g., adding a drip line under the existing patio), which I agreed to--and did not get charged extra for! They finished the work in two days, as promised, and left the area better than they found it. See photos. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
We wanted the best, so we chose Sunflower Landscapes. We had unique challenges with the sloped terrain of our property, needed to address erosion concerns, needed ways to vector drainage away from the house, and wanted our landscape to be beautiful - yet blend with the native surroundings. It was a tall order, but Dustin, Sheldon, and their amazing & professional crew worked wonders! We LOVE our yard, thanks so much!!!!
Our experience with Sunflower Landscaping was exceptional. Dustin and his crew worked tirelessly and provided us with an amazing landscape which includes a patio and fire pit! Dustin also created a drycreek bed to allow water to be directed away from our home. Over the creek is an amazing stone bridge that guides visitors from the covered porch out to the fire pit. The entire landscape is exactly what we wanted and Dustin exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend Sunflower! Additionally, pricing was very competitive which was is always a plus!
Couldn't be happier! Dustin and Sheldon run a very reputable company. They listened to our ideas and came up with an amazing plan. They scaled it back when we needed to cut some cost, no problem. Our landscape is the talk of the neighborhood! People stop all the time to say how beautiful it is. Their crews are very hard working, courteous and incredibly skillful. The artistic hand cutting of the stone work they did on the patio wasn't put onto the bid but they did it because they knew it would really pop! A few small issues found during the work (which is expected with a large job) were quickly addressed. We had some irrigation issues a few times after the install was complete and Dustin came and took care of it every time, no questions asked. Always answers my text or calls. Interestingly enough, a few years ago I had them come to our old house to get a bid and they were so busy that they weren't able to get to my job for 6+ months, nor even give me a design for a few months. I have since learned that if you want to hire a good landscaper don't call them in early spring and think you are going to book them. All of them will be booked for the entire summer and then some. Plan ahead and talk to them in the fall or winter for more prompt responses. Furthermore, they now have hired Neil, who is a great designer and allows Dustin and Sheldon to focus on the installation jobs. Their response time has greatly improved. I'm very happy I decided to give them a second chance. Some people complain their bids are higher than others. That may be true in some cases, but not by that much. You will get a much higher quality job and they aren't going to bait and switch you when something comes up on the job (reasonable cases excepted). Bottom line about hiring a landscaper is, you get what you pay for and landscaping costs more than you may think it should.

At first we had a positive experience. Now that we have paid in full,45,000 total, we cannot get anyone on the phone and after multiple messages left, we still havent been contacted. We have a couple dead trees and bushes that need to be replaced, as per warranty and they were supposed to level out under our fake grass patch at the base of our pergola. It is now July and going into a second month with no resolution and no contact from them. If this gets resolved soon, I will update my review accordingly. Update. They did take care of everything in the long run. The team was dealing with some family emergencies and it ended up being poor communication. The work was excellent and all issues were addressed.
They have ignored us. We reached out multiple times about a previous landscape in our backyard that resulted in a flood in our basement. We had a civil engineer come out and explain that the landscaping is wrong and caused flood...and they reached out to them to contact us too. NOTHING. We just want them to come out and fix the mess up so we can have no risks of flooding again. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL TO IGNORE CLIENTS

I cannot recommend these guys enough! I had Sunflower install a stone veneer retaining wall built in place of a previous block wall and could not be more ecstatic with the results and workmanship. The crews were responsive, professional, detailed, and show a ton of pride in their work. They were extremely respectful and observant of my property and existing landscaping. The final result is perfection and exceeded every expectation I had. If you re looking for a landscaping company, look no further; you ve found the best. Edit - forgot to mention the outstanding experience with Michael. What a phenomenal representative of Sunflower Landscaping! I hope you get the pleasure of working with him on your project!

Cookie cutter designs usually done for new home builders. If you want something unique and are not getting a voucher from the home builder to use Sunflower, then your time and money is best spent choosing another landscaper.
We had Sunflower come out to bid a full landscape on our new construction. Sheldon told us plans and the bid would be ready in two weeks. Three weeks later, no word. After attempting to reach them for two weeks, multiple voicemails, etc., Sheldon finally left a voicemail today stating they had done nothing with our bid. Five weeks have passed since the initial meeting. We are furious, as we are on time constraints with our HOA and landscapers this time of year are booked out 6-8 weeks. Horrible communication and a complete waste of our time.
Dustin is second to none when it comes to customer service and landscape design. He really takes an interest in being an active listener and doing the right thing for his customer. I had Sunflower landscape my last two houses and they were absolutely great. They were competitively priced and had in house design services. I had them plant several trees, xeriscape, build retaining walls and install irrigation and love the result. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
My wife an I couldnt be happier with the results of Sunflowers work. To witness Dustins vision and ideas come to life has been amazing. The crew worked tirelessly and timely. Outstanding landscapers who are reasonably priced, do great work and are just good people. I built a house from across the country, and put a bid out with 8 different landscapers. Neil was the first to respond and the only one that actually listened to, and designed, exactly what I wanted. Prices were very competitive. Communication with me was great from concept and design phase through installation. Dustin (owner) came out and met with me each day during installation to ensure I was satisfied. After installation, Dustin followed up multiple times to make sure everything was still copacetic. Trust these guys to do great work, and I definitely recommend them to anyone needing landscaping. We are very happy with the beautiful job Sunflower Landscapes did on our landscape installation. Their entire team was very responsive to our desires concerning a design, providing a free consultation and an in-depth design from the beginning, then adjusting as we discussed the project in greater detail. As the project was being installed, they also took inputs on changes to the design - they made some adjustments to specific items we requested at different times with no questions asked. After the installation was complete, they also followed up on a couple of additional requests to ensure everything was exactly as we wanted. Overall, they did a wonderful job. They have great customer service, do beautiful work, and are an outstanding team to work with - we highly recommend them!

We loved the design which was a challenge on a sloping walk-out lot. When they started, about nine people were on and off the property for five and a half days from start to finish. All other projects in our neighborhood seemed to be taking the owners weeks of having material and workers present. We absolutely love the landscaping which was delivered on time and on budget. Especially great was having Dustin working nearby so that when we didnt know how to work the irrigation system properly, he came by within hours to correct the minor problems. Highly recommend Sunflower not only for the workmanship, but for the follow up as well.
Working with sunflower was a great experience We had an idea of what we wanted in our landscape design (fire pit, walkway, plants/trees, etc) but had no idea of the layout that would fit our property We met with Dustin and gave him our wants and he came up with the design It turned out amazing, better than we ever imagined Dustin and the crew were professional, hard working and always very friendly They proposed changes when they found something that would work better than the original plan and ran them by us before implementing. The project came in on budget and on time We would highly recommend Sunflower and have to people in the neighborhood Tim and Wendy
Met with Dustin to go over our new lot and he said it would be a couple weeks before he sent me a design. A month later I followed up with an email reminding him I was interested in his design and installation. I never heard back from him after our initial meeting. It is too bad, they seem to do good work, but I wouldnt rely on them.
Dont waste your time if you are a small job. I wanted to have a fence installed and some other work. They showed up to look at what needed to get done, but then were too busy to give me a quote. I do not like having my time wasted, or waiting a week and half to find out they werent going to give me a quote. It was unprofessional.
