AJD Landscaping built a retaining wall for us and we could not be happier! The price was right, and the wall looks beautiful and strong! The workers were hard-working and respectful. These guys do high quality work. Ive had them do two different jobs in the last year. They did exactly what I asked them to do. Its a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and these guys do a really good job!

They do not answer calls or call back and yes, I did leave a voicemail with the number provided. It would have been nice to stay local and support the local landscaping business.

We have used AJD over a period of years. We have always been very happy with the results. The latest job was s deck demo and patio installation. Could not be happier with the results. Derek helped us through every step of the process. His crew went above and beyond. Had to remove a raised bed garden for the job. Needed to clean some fence posts before storing. Went off to take care of something. Came back to find everything taken care of. Who does that any more? AJD is a truly professional company. Use them!

The landscaping at our St. Johns Community Care building needed major updating after 21 years. AJD worked with our committee on a plan, removed overgrown shrubs and worn out plants, did new plantings, and added rock and mulch. What a difference! AJD recently completed a landscape project for us. From start to finish (bid through completion) communications were excellent. Also, special acknowledgement to a great crew! They were very efficient and did a wonderful job.

We used AJD Landscaping to lay bricks along two landscaped areas and to rebuild a wall. They started when promised and completed the tasks timely. They did a good job and made sure we were happy with their work. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend them.

I give AJD Landscaping 5 stars! We have hired them twice for two pretty big jobs. They did the landscaping around the perimeter of our home, as well as a big berm in the front of our house. We weren t really certain of what we wanted, and Derek made the process very easy! We went over what we liked and didn t like, and a few days later he came up with some amazing computer-generated designs! Once we approved the plans, AJ and her team got to work and they were amazing! They explained everything along the way, and they were extremely professional, hard-working, and knowledgeable. I love everything about our landscaping, the plants, the bushes, the trees, the brick & rock work, the landscape lights Everything!

I am very happy with the work that was done to my back yard. There was a significant amount of brush to clear out and a retaining wall to build. The communication with AJ and Derrick was prompt and considerate. The project started on time and when wet weather caused a delay, I was given a prompt warning and expected time for the project to resume. AJD landscaping just finished building a wall, brick edging around all our beds and installed sod. They did a great job with everything. When I expressed wanting more curve in the wall they took it down and redid it without blinking and no complaints and it looks fantastic. And they were on time starting and finished quickly. I was very pleased with AJD Landscapings work! We hired them to build two retaining walls and landscape three sections around our house when it had to rebuilt due to a house fire. AJD provided the necessary paperwork to complete the insurance claim and then kept in touch with us as the project progressed so they were ready to start. The walls and landscaping are beautiful and I am very happy with their work. We had a few speed bumps and problems with the contractor but AJD was professional, helpful and quick to help in any way.

I couldnt be happier with AJDs work! We had a giant project around a pool - complete tear out of everything, multiple retaining walls and sidewalks, putting in drains, tiered retaining walls - you name it. They did such a beautiful job and didnt miss a detail. AJ and Derek are amazing and their crew is super nice and professional. It was almost a little bitter sweet for the project to end because Ill miss working with them, especially AJ! She walks you through the whole process and helps you pick everything out, even if you dont know anything about plants! You cant go wrong with these folks!

After doing our fabulous new outdoor space, we needed equally fabulous landscaping to go with it. AJD was the answer. Easy to work with and very professional. We loved it so much we are having them redo the landscaping in our front yard in the Spring.

We hired AJD Landscaping to construct a small retaining wall and for basic landscaping around an above ground pool. While waiting for supplies and availability, we decided to remove our pool and replace the area with a fire pit. Derek and AJ were very accommodating to the changes and made them seamlessly. There was a delay for materials, which was likely COVID related with the supplier. However, AJ kept the lines of communication open and informed us whenever she had updates. The work is quality and the employees were very efficient, finishing our project in just 2 days! Overall, quality work at a great value. Would recommend and would use again!

The work they did was excellent. The work area was cleaned up when they were done. Overall very happy and will definitely use them again!

I own 25 houses. Derek, owner, stopped by one of my houses and gave me an estimate of $6730. Couple of weeks later I called back with interest to get started on the project. I asked them if they can just give me a drawing of where the wall will go. AJ stopped by the house and emailed me the drawing she had prepared. But to my surprise the price jumped from $6730 to now $7595 ($865 increase). I asked how did the price changed? Did AJ came up with different measurements? The answer was no. AJ said I just talked to Derek and we felt we should charge more. I said how about if we still do it for the original price? they refused. Also 2 other companies who looked at the project said we definitely need Geo grid whereas AJD Landscaping does not include that in their plan. I have 25 houses and I have deal with contractors on daily bases. When price changes as soon as they realize you have chosen them for the project is a sign for more short comings and price changes. I have always kept a professional demeanor with them and have called them very few times yet, I have noticed they tend not to answer your call once they know your not interested. I called them one last time and asked for a copy of the plan. AJ mocked me by saying what happened, I thought you said you are going to go with someone else? Very childish, not what one expects from a business.

The AJD workers were amazing. They worked in cold temperatures, rainy weather, and falling acorns with very few breaks and continuous attention to detail. Perhaps even more important than the high quality work, over the years, AJD has demonstrated a level of customer appreciation and overall customer service that goes well beyond what I see out of most companies these days. Derek and his team have made themselves available - both electronically and in-person - to field questions regarding our shrubs and ensure that we are satisfied customers. In addition, AJD has been extraodinarily accommodating by replacing a few of our shrubs that failed to thrive following some harsh winter weather. I would highly recommend AJD to anyone who is looking to have similar landscaping work done around their house.

AJD Landscaping reworked some of our landscaping at Collins & Sons Flooring. They reset the flagstone and brick edging, cleaned up old plants and put in new plantings and mulch. Looks very nice. Did great work and left the site clean. We are very pleased with their work.

Recently I shared with a friend about the landscaping walkway AJD Landscaping installed 5 years ago from the front driveway to the rear patio. They seemed amazed that I did not have to readjust the curbing or do any maintanance with the walkway over this time period. It looks just like the day it was installed and it is a great addition to our patio.

AJD Landscaping was doing work at my neighbors house, not my house. But they piled landscape debris in MY yard and drove their equipment in my yard, tearing up my yard. The damage to my yard was not 5 ft over the property line, it was 50 ft over the property line. I clearly have a fence in my back yard that indicates that there is a property line out to the street and they ignored this. It is apparent that they dumped their debris and parked their equipment in such a way as to be convenient to them with no consideration toward me and my yard a property. Additionally, they parked their trucks in such a way that they pulled off the street in my yard not my neighbors yard. Causing additional ruts in my yard from AJD trucks and trailers. I called them to ask why they did this and why they were so inconsiderate. They did NOT call me back. So I stayed home from work to be able to talk to someone. Since the damage was already done I told them to finish the work and then fix the damage. AJD indicated they would fix the damage after they are done with my neighbors work. Now several weeks later AJD dumps a load of rock in front of MY house, not in front of my neighbors house where the work is being done. So now it is Easter Weekend and I have less parking available in front of my house because AJD dumped load of rock in front of my house! I called to ask them to move the gravel and again, I get no call back.. I would NOT recommend using this landscape company. They are very inconsiderate and very unprofessional. This is demonstrated by how I was treated and how they dump debris and landscape material anywhere it is convenient rather than have a plan for storing material for the work in a location that is related to the the homeowner that asked for the work.

AJD did a great job with our landscaping project. We had a few plants that did not make it over the winter so I contacted them regarding this issue. They replaced them the next week with no questions asked. Customer service is top notch! Very happy with their service.
