I had been seeing print ads for Kevins Landscapes in the free local magazines for years. Often I would tear out the page and save it for ideas. Finally, I reached out to get a quote. There was a design fee, which made me hesitate (most estimates are free), but I was told the fee would be applied to any work they performed, so I decided to take the chance. Youve heard the saying you get what you pay for, right? Well, Kevins Landscapes is not cheap ... and thats the point. If you want thoughtfully designed landscaping that looks beautiful and continues to look great despite extreme heat sustained over months, youll be glad you chose this company. I asked them for a dreamscape estimate, and Im implementing the plan in phases as my budget allows. Besides finding excellent landscaping services, this experience taught me that 1) advertising works (eventually), and 2) the talent and skills of a landscape designer is worth the investment.

I recommended Kevins to do some major drainage work for some clients - about $15K - and was very disappointed in several facets. We had to call them back several times to finish the job, it was not done correctly/adequately/as-requested, and the owner was unprofessional when he spoke to my clients afterwards. They took advantage of my clients and refused to fix/acknowledge the work that was done incorrectly, the owner was confrontational and told them not to get me involved. The most shocking part is how the owner treated my clients. I will most definitely not recommend them in the future and will go out of my way to share mine/my clients experience.

I worked with Kevin s Landscapes on a landscape design and had just the most wonderful and professional experience! I had originally tried a different service in the area, but after being stood up on multiple scheduled phone calls I decided to look for a different service. From the time I first contacted Kevin s Landscapes, they were professional, responsive, and very accommodating to my schedule. We had an on-site consultation about my design and I had a draft design within two weeks. Any modifications I wanted to make, the team adjusted to quickly and got it back to me. Their follow up and transparency during the estimating phase was also incredibly appreciated. Unfortunately I was not able to see the project through after making the decision to move cities in the near future for a new life opportunity, making the project not make sense anymore. So I didn t get to work with the team through construction, but had the best experience working with them through the consultation, design, and estimating phases. I am a prodigal customer returning back to Kevin s landscapes. Kevin s landscape did fabulous work for our family for several years, but I decided to save a few bucks & go with a less expensive service. Oh dear, bad choice, after killing about 50% of my plants, never appearing, or picking up a check with no service; I definitely called Kevin s Landscape back! I love the company, they do excellent work, communicate with us, discuss what is and is not needed, they are efficient with time & billing. Kevin is creative, fair & honest.

I was recommended to Kevins Landscapes by my friends at Aggieland Green. I can still recount the day Kevin came to our home and surveyed the project. Kevin exuded confidence, honesty, integrity, and competence. Upon completion of the survey, Kevin detailed the estimate and setup time with his talented landscape designer Kendall. They presented the project in a cogent fashion. My wife Julie and I loved the plans, and had no hesitation to initiate the project with Kevins team. Kevin communicated effectively. On the first day of the project, Kevin arrived with his crew led by Ramiro Valdez and assisted by Sebastian and Henry. Together we surveyed the project. I proposed two items that increased the scope of the project, but Kevin and team were happily receptive to the ideas. For the next four days, Kevins team was hard at work, systematically working through the rigorous scope with a pleasant attitude. It was clear that work is worship to Kevin and his team. They wear their joy of work on their sleves. The entire team is courteous and proficient. The project was done with tremendous quality, and every step of the way we were assured that they would not leave unless we were satisfied with the work. We are delighted with their work. Our landscape looks completely renewed as if a new life has been breathed into it. We are looking forward to doing more projects with Kevin.

He recently completed a mid-size project for our new home in Bryan (including multiple new beds, trees, french drain, and custom lattice fence), and they did a beautiful job! Kevin is a Marine veteran, scrupulously trustworthy, always on time (being late is one of my big pet peeves), Christian family man, and local small business owner.
