I called them to ask about redoing my sod and they told me they have a minimum of $1500.00 per job!!! It doesnt say that at all on their website. It says no job is too big or small but clearly it is if its not $1500!

Our company hired Landscaping Ninjas to resolve drainage issues on a back patio project. They were very responsive and the design worked well. While on site we decided to add a few items such as irrigation repair, re-sloping a hill for proper water flow and adding grass. The project manager, Charles, was on site everyday and provided great communication with us and the home owner. We are very satisfied with the end result.

Generally I m happy with the job they have done. I expected a little bit more gardening guidance from them on plant choices, etc... It never occurred to me to ask for the soil in the flower beds to be tilled. I assumed it was routine. I guess it wasn t because it wasn t done. Some plants were broken, although they are recovering. The oak tree was planted without the supports. They corrected it after we asked for it. I was also looking for a long term relationship in my gardening needs. Seems like they do only big jobs. I just have to find someone else for these smaller jobs.

Very professional and hard working to do the job right

We were very happy with our experience with Landscaping Ninjas. They did a beautiful job, taking an area which was very neglected right in front of the front door and porch area, turning it into a beautiful area. We were in a rush and they accommodated our schedule also.

Daniel and his team were terrific. Daniel showed up before, during and after the project. He worked with me on a tweak to our design after we reached an agreement and before the project started. Joseph (on-site supervisor) was polite and informative throughout, and these guys were meticulous in their cleanup efforts. I never felt any pressure, and am very pleased with the results!

I had Landscaping Ninjas come out and consulted with me regarding my backyard lake when it rained. They were quick to provide an evaluation to resolve my issue and was able to start almost immediately despite the continuing rain conditions. The work was done in a timely manner. The workers were polite & respectful of my property. Several weeks later, I noticed some areas of concern and contacted Landscaping Ninjas. They responded quickly and came back to assess the situation. They advised of what needed to be done. It took a while longer for them to come back get this corrected. However when they did, not only did they make the necessary repairs; they took additional precautions on areas that I was unaware of. This was not just a drop in the bucket for me. I believe that you get what you pay for and I did. Hiring Landscaping Ninjas was the best choice and I received quality service, something you don t see a lot of anymore.

Won a landscaping job at a fundraising event. Daniel and his crew did a great job upgrading a flagstone walkway, trimming trees, upgrading landscaping, power washing an outdoor kitchen and mulching of beds in front and backyard. I would use them again and can provide a reference if needed.

When I first scheduled a consultation with this company my thoughts were that it would be a professional and honest company. Mason quoted me $400/square foot and stated $81/hour for 3 workers for one day of work for $2250 of work + the turf and top soil for a grand total cost of $5000 for just a small patio yard? This didn t add up so I asked for the written work. Mason wouldn t provide me the quote and Daniel stopped responding. Rose kept screening my calls saying someone would call me but didn t. Very dishonest people. But if you want to get an insight of what you can expect, please visit their BBB page and read the complaint filed against them. In hindsight, if only I had researched more on them I would not have been mislead. Please do your diligent work before picking out the first company you see on the internet. There is much better out there.

I contacted Landscaping Ninjas and they sent someone out right away for a consultation. He was very knowledgeable and said they could do everything I needed and gave me a really good price. I couldnt wait to get started with the project. Unfortunately, after the initial consultation, Landscaping Ninjas ghosted me. I never received any further contact from them. I didnt receive the written estimate that was supposed to be sent by email the same day I received the consultation. I also called numerous times for 3 weeks and they havent returned one of my calls. Not one.

I picked Thompson s & Sons initially based off their reviews. After working with Daniel and Kat, I am really pleased and excited about the job they did. From the design layout to the actual installation of the rocks and plants. Their crew of Cameron, Duane and Trip were real go-getters and worked with me getting the large boulders placed how I wanted them and the care they took with the planting and positioning of everything. They did an excellent job! I cannot wait for the next 3 months pass to see how all their hard work will have grown and filled in.

Thompson and Sons built a cedar-plank raised bed garden that will be wonderful for my vegetable gardening!. Replaced a few frozen shrubs with good quality new ones, nice job mulching and all. They even came a few days earlier than scheduled!

Efficient, comprehensive service. Would recommend.

We booked Thompson and Sons to remove dead plants, build a trellis, and convert our flower bed sprinklers from spray to drip. After being rescheduled three times, they finally completed the job, claimed to have finished the work, required payment, and left. When we tested the sprinklers we got a geyser in the front yard and a pool of standing water in the back. Six weeks later, the sprinkler system is still not functional. We have called and emailed numerous times but nothing has been done. In fact, in one email the owner told me since it was raining a lot I shouldn t be using my sprinkler system! The company signed an agreement with us, we paid a LOT of money for this job, and I don t care if there s a flood - I paid for work to be completed and I m owed either a functional sprinkler system or a refund.

They were easy to work with and my yard looks great!

I have never ever used a landscaping company who communicates as well as Thompson and Sons. Its so refreshing. They tell me the day and time they are coming. If they are delayed due to weather they let me know. When they finish the work, they let me know. And they do fabulous, beautiful work! Highly recommend.

Thompson and Sons did a great job for us. We needed new dirt and sod and also a new drain and they did exactly what we wanted. They finished in the time frame quoted and for the price quoted. The yard was left very nice and neat. I would definitely recommend them.

Overall great job on the work done! I had some new trees and irrigation system put in, I had a few little mishaps with the irrigation system, but we got it fixed for the most part!! Yay!! Daniel Thompson has done numerous job for me! I would definitely recommend him ! He replaced a fence for me and did an outstanding job. He built a custom gate for me(extra wide) so that i would be able to drive my riding mower through it! He also did an excellent Landscaping job for me that really made the house look good. I also can recommend his Lawn Care services, which I use occasionally when my back is acting up. This is a B.S. story!! I did not post this review!! He is limited in his knowledge of fencing and could not replace a side gate properly that has steel posts instead of a 4x4!! The gate hangs and drags on the ground! I asked him to come back and repair it, and he sent an inexperienced worker who stuck a 2x4 and a a few screws in it and did not fix the problem. He was supposed to dig out all the small trash trees in another house that I had and all he did was cut them off about 3 inches high, so I could not see them and now I get hung up with the riding mower! Do not use this person!!

If I could give more that 5 stars I would. Daniel and Kat were absolutely amazing in designing, building and furnishing our backyard oasis. Attention to detail and extremely professional. Already planning Phase 2!!!

They did a great job installing a patio in my back yard. On time, on budget, beautiful work.

If I could give a 4.5, Id do that but the scale is limited to just whole numbers. Overall, I was pretty satisfied, I liked the work, Id recommend them, and I intend to use them again for some other projects. Heres all the things I liked: Daniels initial responsiveness, explanation of the work he would do, the timeliness of the quote, the crew themselves did a nice job, were friendly, and answered all my questions. Also, when there was a small issue with the sprinkler system that happened as a result of the landscaping work, the crew came back over and fixed it. The only thing that kept it from being a 5 out of 5 was the turn around time to then fix the issue with the sprinkler. I had called and was told a crew would be out in a few days, and then it didnt happen, so I had to call again and they had forgotten or lost track of what they said so it ended up being another few days so that wasnt great. However, Daniel was committed to getting it resolved, and when I spoke to him directly, he got a crew out right away and they fixed it. That was probably more of an administrative issue than it was anything related to their landscaping skills. Again, Id use them again and Id recommend them.

Its really refreshing to interact with a group thats professional and punctual. Daniel Thompson walked me through how to fix the drainage issues, made suggestions and offered options without ever being pushy, and gave me a very clear idea of what was going to be done. I definitely recommend Thompson & Sons and I will absolutely work with them again next time.

Klesha, Victor and Matthew were Outstanding in their jobs individually and as a cohesive team. They were punctual, professional and enthusiastic about providing the best landscaping possible. Klesha went out of her way to provide the colorful lantanya flowers I had requested and arranged them perfectly as well as proactively managing all of the work. Victor was diligent in making sure the flower bed s soil was properly done and all soil placed appropriately. Matthew s positive attitude is highly praised as he was focused on doing the many jobs he was in charge of doing and did everything perfectly. Great individual work and team work! My interactions with Thompson and Sons Landscaping started out strong. We discussed my issues with my yard and what the best solution would be. They showed up when they said they would and got started. After the initial job was done I discovered they had torn up my side yard to bury my drain but didnt smooth it back. It took over 3 months to have them come back and fix it which was done poorly. My side yard is still very hilly now and a constant struggle with my push mower. I just got tired of constantly emailing and only hearing back about once every other week. The initial reason I hired them has been fixed but the side effect issues Im stuck with.

We recently contracted with Landscaping Ninjas to make over our very overgrown yard. Kat, Faith, Cameron, and Daniel have all been very easy to work with as my wife and I struggled to figure out what we wanted in the end. They not only helped with the design but also dealt with us well as we made changes to the initial plan. We look forward to seeing the final product before tomorrow much longer. Will return to this post when the project is complete.

The Ninjas are amazing! I have used them to establish a native Texas plants and it is beautiful. I let things go a bit so I had them clean up the leaves, rid my driveway of spreading moss, and add to the mulch and pea gravel around the plants. My front yard is amazing once again!

They were very helpful with the product. More than anything these men did a great job being very careful with my yard . Daniel did research to find lights that would fit our driveway needs, even though the supplier was delayed he did a great job withwhat he had to work with until he could finished the job.

We got several quotes before booking Thompson & Sons, and they gave us a very competitive price. Shortly after we booked, we had the project scheduled. Work was completed on time and quality was great! There were some issues with the sod on the project, but they replaced it all as soon as we brought it to their attention at no cost to us. After adding a pool to new construction, I needed to finish landscaping my backyard. I contacted over 10 landscapers in BCS prior to starting my project. They either didnt return phone calls, no-showed appointments, or were ridiculous on their quotes (over double my budget). Daniel was easy to work with start to finish. He listened to the plan I had in my head, and was respectful of my budget. He also helped me set realistic expectations so I could adjust my budget for what I wanted. He and his crew worked hard to complete the project - although it took a couple days longer than expected (it was a big project!!). Final result was worth the wait.

I had Thompson &Son do complete lawn service and flower bed work I was disappointed in the quality considering the price / month. After each mowing my lawn had clumps of clippings like a hay field. I ended up replacing the annuals because the ones they planted didn t take.

Daniel showed up on time, as scheduled to estimated the (drainage) job, provided a quote and came out the day before the scheduled start to verify everything. Mason and the guys showed up on time, understood the job and completed it on a fast and efficient manner. Daniel and his team reworked the landscaping in front of our home. They replaced all plants and existing earth and weeds with flagstone, all plants are now in containers with sprinklers inside the planters. We have had only minor issues and they have been addressed quickly.

Masons crew was fantastic! They dug up an old drainage system that was broken when we moved in, and replaced it, all in less than two days. They were on time, respectful, and the company is very responsive to answer any questions you may have before, during, and after their work is completed. I will definitely use them again with some landscaping Id like done.

We cannot say enough good things about Thompson & Son Landscaping! They redid our flower beds and ran into an unexpected issue, Daniel and the team came up with a plan and they were finished within days. They truly are landscape ninjas!! We joked that we had the perfect before and after photos for them, but honestly we are so happy with the end result!

We hired Thompson & Sons to overhaul our front flowerbeds and help alleviate a drainage issue we were having. The crew showed up on time each morning, was dressed professionally, polite and friendly. The project did take one day longer than they had estimated, which I expected knowing how much work they had to complete. The workers quickly addressed any issues we had for the most part. We did feel like we needed to watch over the project to avoid shortcuts when the supervisor was absent - which happened more than I was expecting. We are still waiting on one item to be completed (it has been a couple of weeks). We have emailed regarding status, but have not heard back from them. As for the aesthetics of the the project, we like how the beds turned out and the faux creek bed. We are very hands on people and usually do most of our projects ourselves, but did not have the time to tackle this one. Bottom line we would like to have seen more attention to detail.

I moved to TX and bought a house in College Station and then Harvey arrived, all in the course of a few weeks. And I discovered that my new house had some SERIOUS flooding issues in both front and back yards. Daniel has helped me with emergency issues, long-term fixes, and of course general yard care, and is responsive and flexible (so many things have come up, or Ive changed my mind about things, and he has rolled with it). I was looking to have my front yard sodded and repaired after a truck drove through it in a heavy rain. I called Thompson & Sons and asked if they could come by to provide an estimate on the cost of repair, I was told they would come by that evening and provide me with a quote that night. A week later I called back to inquire about the quote since I had not heard anything and was given an apology and that they would get the quote to me that night. Two days later I called back asking for an update because I still had not heard from them and was told that what I was requesting was not what they do at Thompson & Sons. I communicated that this would have been nice to know a week prior since I have been waiting on their estimate when I was hung up on. I typically give companies the benefit of the doubt but I do not recommend Thompson & Sons based on this unprofessional interaction. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

We hired Daniel and his crew to clean out flower beds, trim trees and help get a lawn going somewhere in between our weeds. They were here at 8 AM and didnt leave until almost 6 PM. We were very satisfied with their work and price and we look forward to using their services in the future.

Daniel was prompt with getting back to me about a quote and did an excellent job ripping out a bunch of old shrubs and trees, grinding down the stumps, covering the bare areas with sod, and completely re-working our flower beds. Finished in the time he quoted, at the price he quoted. Great work, would recommend!

Thompson & Sons Landscaping did an exceptional job pruning 40 + palm trees in our front yard. The trimmers were meticulous in that they spared a nest of baby squirrels plus the clean up was outstanding. Great price and great job, Ill be using T & S Landscaping for future palm tree maintenance.

I would absolutely go with Thompson and Sons again in the future. Daniel took the time to understand what we were going for and then was creative in coming up with ideas to make it happen. We wanted to maintain a natural look in our backyard (which has lots of trees and shrubs) but we needed a fence for child safety. Daniel had the great idea to use existing trees instead of posts which helped accomplish this and also saved us money.
