We have had Mark and Johnny working on our lawn on a regular basis for over a year. Our lawn was in quite a poor state and is difficult to manage due to the soil and overhanging trees. The improvement has been very good with problem areas like weeds, moss, and other unwanted vegetation, now just an occasional occurrence. These remaining problems are mainly due to a lack of sunlight on some parts of our North facing garden. Mark and Johnny explain everything that needs doing to your lawn and the reasoning behind it. They are both very easy to communicate with and highly knowledgable. It s an independent business and not a franchise out to just sell you stuff . Would recommend that you talk to them if your lawn needs some help.

Mark and the team are superb. Our lawn was neglected, patchy, full of weeds and shameful. Mark explained about root health and the building blocks of a good lawn. They investigated the soil and were passionate about using non toxic solutions. After a period of feeding and care they came for renovation day. 5 weeks on its completly transformed. The cost is reasonable and not indicative of the finish. The finish is worth so much more. The team are friendly, hard working and punctual. We could not recommend them more even if we were paid to do so (sadly not). 100 out of 10. Highly recommend.

Mark did an amazing job in completely reseeding and restoring my front lawn. The lawn had been decimated by builders so he started from scratch and now it is luscious and the envy of my neighbours. On top of that he has brought the rest of the garden back to life, not easy when you have two dogs! His organic approach to lawns and grass is the stance we all should be taking.

I have had the pleasure of having used Mark at the Lawnologist to completely renovate my lawns for the last six months. Our lawn REALLY suffered in the last heat wave and we thought that was the end of having a lawn to enjoy and would replace it with some sort of hard landscaping - even though i really love having grass. I decided to contact the Lawnologist with no real expectations as i have family members who use well known companies and havent had the best, or cheapest of relationships. Mark turned up, on time and with a beaming smile - clearly loving his career. He filled me with so much information, in very basic terms (so i could retain what he was saying) and how he could transform the area in a realistic time scale. He really did know his stuff and could prove it right in front of me. We agreed a well priced plan for the lawn and Ive just left him to it, and have seen the magic unfold. The lawn is now unrecognisable from its dessert like appearance those few months back. He has completely killed off, renovated, seeded, nurtured, fed and conditioned the grass and soil. Dont underestimate how important the soil is over the appearance of the lawn (something i have learnt from him). The lawn is looking fantastic already even though we are early in the year and am excited for the late spring and summer months. Ive now booked him in for two more areas of full renovation as im so pleased. Mark is a very professional and knowledgeable man. He has literally saved our lawn from the ravages of last summer . He has aerated and fed the soil and has overseeded a few areas of the lawn that needed some extra help and we are now on an annual programme of restoration. He explains what he is going to do and why and often does a bit extra too! You feel you are getting very sound advice from someone who really knows their stuff ! He is conscious of cost and will only recommend what is needed and so only resorts to total renovation of the lawn if it doesn t respond to earlier treatments .

Great service, had turf laid to a difficult north facing part of my garden. Mark did an excellent job and I am over the moon with the results. I would recommend Marks service to anyone wanting help with their grass.

We had a lawn renovation and consultation package with Mark. Our lawn was initially full of weeds at one side and many patches with out grass. Mark fixed all of that with his treatments, scarification and advice. Now the lawn is completely lush(see picture). I totally recommend Mark. His packages are value for money.

I can t fault Mark s service it really is excellent. The lawns are a world away from where they were - healthy and green and dense. It really is like a carpet out there now! When dogs and football playing kids are involved - that s quite an achievement. He individualises the service he brings you and I think that s what makes the difference as well as adding things in on the day that he notices and knows the grass will benefit from. I like the report afterwards as well. A really excellent service - so pleased we found him and didn t choose a generic lawn care.

My lawn earlier this year was in a terrible state, more moss than grass. Mark was extremely pleasant to deal with, very efficient and now I have a beautiful lush green lawn with no moss in sight. It was worth every penny

Mark managed to renovate our grass which was no more than weeds and parched compacted soil at the front to damp, moss filled areas at the back and sides in less than a year. Fully scarified aerated and over seeded and 4 treatment later, looking very good. Also always very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

It s was the first time I have used this service and was pleasantly suppressed. I didn t quite know what would to expect, what would be done or how but when Mark turned up and explained in no nonsense terms what was needed and how long it would take I was extremely happy. We have used grass maintenance companies for many years but none of them come close to the passion, care, value and results of Mark at Lawnologist. We opted for the year pre payment program with the added driveway weed control. The value for money is amazing, more importantly the grass has never looked so lustrous and green, no more weeds or bare patchs and unevenness of a new build garden has disappeared. The driveway weed control is a must, killed all weeds within 2 weeks and have not seen a weed since the application in June. Looking forward for many more years of Mark maintaining the grass.

Have never used this type of service before. Contacted the lawnologist and had a visit from Mark explaining everything in detail about what my lawns needed. He came and done all the work and explained what he was actually doing at every stage, and my lawns already look a lot better just after a couple of months after having the work done. Would highly recommend.
