Wanted to give a review after a little time has passed. We got a new driveway and sidewalk 1.5 yrs ago. Customer service and quality of the job were excellent, and we are still totally pleased. A contractor in our family continues to say this is the best-looking driveway hes seen. Highly recommend F&M!

We had F&M Contractors, Inc do 3 jobs at our 50+ year old home: > new sidewalks > replace a concrete step at our front door with a large landing > repair the bricks above the concrete step that were very loose TJ gave us a fair estimate and locked in a specific timeframe we requested. The job was completed in a few days. When the trucks, equipment & team showed up you could clearly see their process is a well-oiled machine. The sidewalk at the concrete step was basically a mess. Due to the bend at the concrete step it was clumsy walking to the step and too narrow. TJ and Andy laid out a design to increase the width of the sidewalk, so it looks fantastic and its so much easier to walk up and enter our home. We have several family members with walking disabilities, so our new sidewalk / landing is great looking and much safer for them. We have neighbors who had concrete work done and it took weeks to complete. F&M Contractors has the talent and experience to complete quality work efficiently. Unlike other contractors we called - F&M got back to us immediately! I would definitely recommend them for your concrete work projects.

This was our second project with F&M and we could not be more pleased with the results. TJ went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. If you are considering concrete work, I would not look anywhere else.

F&M did a fabulous job replacing our front pathway to our home! They understood our needs and gave attentive care. We would highly recommend them for any concrete work.

Extremely disappointed with F&M. I returned to them as a satisfied customer on a small concrete parking pad they installed for me several years ago. I contacted them in April for an estimate on some landscaping which involved three parts to it. JT replied and wanted to know more details. I sent details, including pictures. Did not hear back at all. Fine, it worked out, as I had part of the job done by someone else and realized I still would like F&M to install a new walkway and was considering some additional concrete work. I contacted F&M again in September. TJ replied again and said they could help. Two minutes later I received email from their customer service telling me the job was too small and told me to contact another business. I contacted TJ about the contradicting messages. TJ confirmed the details of my request again and ended up saying they could help but there was a $3500 minimum for a job that small I was okay with that. He had initially informed me that he had time to come by on Sept. 25 between 2-3 p.m. He never replied back to my email to confirm date and time and certainly didn t show up. It appears their customer service has dwindled.

F&M Contractors are THE concrete driveway people. No hassle, done correctly.

We needed to replace and expand our driveway to accommodate 2 cars. TJ came out and listened to our requirements and then gave us an excellent estimate. We worked with Andy during the setup and pouring of the concrete. He was an excellent manager and the project went off without an issue. He worked with us to meet all of requirements. We are really pleased with the results!

Excellent work. Highly professional

F&M Contractors removed a combination old flagstone and concrete patio in our rear yard. It was a rather involved task due to the flagstone continuing into our screened-in rear porch which we left untouched and a slight slope and drainage issues. TJ and Andy came up with the perfect solution for the removal and then the installation of the new all concrete patio. The work crew was extremely professional and friendly. It was an overall complicated undertaking and we couldnt be happier. They arrived right on time each day and did each days job efficiently. The cost of the job was very competitive and there were no extra hidden charges. We would highly recommend F&M Construction for any such job.

I m delighted with my experience with F & M Contractors! After a detailed consultation about our needs, they redid two large perennial beds in my front yard, temporarily removed the plants to be preserved, stripped the beds of weeds and invasive grass, regraded the beds, divided and replanted my existing native perennials in an awesome new design, and mulched, as well as providing a strategy for maintaining and adding to the beds in future. Amazing! Melanie is so knowledgeable , supportive, and easy to talk with, I definitely plan to work with her again in future. Highly recommend!

Good design and beautifully done

F&M was great to deal with. TJ was on time for the quote, Maddison kept me in the loop throughout the process and Andy kept me updated while on site. The crew did good work and left everything cleaned up well. Very happy with the new driveway!

Melanie, the landscape designer and manager was fantastic to work with! We are very pleased with the results, and would highly recommend F&M for any landscaping project. Melanie was knowledgeable, professional, and available throughout the process. She listened to our general ideas of what we wanted, then included us in the design from start to finish. She was focused on using only native plants, which was important to us, and educated us on the care and maintenance. The entire crew did a beautiful job completing the work, and were very respectful of our property while here.

The whole process from design to finished product was seamless. Communication was great. Top notch quality work.

F&M did a lovely driveway expansion for us, and so when we heard they had added landscaping services, we decided to use them for a big yard project. They came up with a plan that was within our budget, eco-friendly, and looks really nice. Melanie was great to work with -- enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and super-organized in her live and email communications with us.

Excellent company and Staff. TJ was a pleasure to work with. Everyone was very professional. The new asphalt driveway looks fantastic. They had to remove several bricks from our walkway to lay the asphalt and came back several days later to reset the bricks. The walkway looks better than what it did. F&M installed our new asphalt driveway, as well as, a concrete patio and concrete walkways. The entire team including Maddison, TJ, Andy, and all of the guys onsite were very professional. They communicated well on what we should expect, including when the work would take place and how long it would take. They kept the site clean and showed great care with our home and yard. It was obvious they all take great pride in their workmanship and having satisfied customers is a priority. I highly recommend F&M for any project.

Efficient company with excellent customer service. I cant say Im a concrete expert, but the new driveway looks great and is exactly what I asked for.

I cannot recommend F&M highly enough. Here is why. Everyone has a story of when things go right but here is what happened when something went awry and the excellent way F&M handled it. We had a rainy Spring which delayed our driveway. Every step of the way Maddisen at F&M kept us up to date and answered any questions we had. The day the project was completed and our driveway poured it unexpectedly rained. The next day, before we even noticed any issues, TJ (who provided us the estimate) said they were not happy with the final pour and the effects of the rain. Less than a week later TJ and Andy came out, met with us, looked at the project and discussed it with us. Then at their expense, with no fuss and within days of the meeting they came out and redid the damaged portion of our driveway. When it was done they even had a person who came out, removed any last debris, filled in gaps around the driveway reseeded and put down mulch. We even received a thank you note. Their workers worked hard, worked fast and did quality work. A company that stands behind their work, works closely with the customer and communicates so well is why I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From start to finish these people are professiojal, caring and provide exceptional quality workmanship. They requested my input, made suggestions and not only completed the work quickly, but cleaned up and left my home in better condition than before they arrived. I could not commend them more highly

We had our carport concrete pad replaced and honestly I wasnt thrilled with the job. There was almost zero communication once the job started and once it was completed I had to call your office to find out how long to wait before we could use the carport. There was concrete spattered on the siding, extra concrete was left in several in the yard (killing the grass) and trash was left in the yard. I called about the concrete on the siding and one person was sent with a brush and cleaner and work for a bit and then left saying he did the best he could, it looked no different. My neighbor had he entire driveway completed and was thrilled with the service. Kinda felt like my small $9000 job was not a priority as the same crew was working both jobs. $9000 is not a small amount of money to me.

We paid over $20,000 for our home to have great curb appeal. When it rains it pours in the basement. No one has answers. The worst investment we EVER made on our home.

Entirely professional, courteous, on-time and best of all - VERY GOOD WORK! Im extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the end result. My job had a few challenges and Andy figured it all out perfectly and the end result is EXACTLY as I drew it up and imagined. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They replaced my broken up driveway. It was a big job since the driveway is long with a 2-car parking pad and turnabout. They exceeded my expectations in all areas. The crew was very professional and respectful of my property and my neighbors. The operator of the backhoe was an artist, breaking up and removing the old driveway while working between my gardens and trees which line the driveway. The job looks great, was done on time with no surprises. Im completely satisfied. Being an engineer, Im not easily impressed, but they impressed me.

I hired F&M to replace my driveway apron. I am very happy with the quality of their work.

F&M did my driveway about 10 years ago. Three years later it cracked and became uneven by 3 inches like going up a small curb. To make matters worse they stamped F&M into the concrete without my permission. Even better a few years later they saw I needed a new driveway so they left a bag with sone rocks and their card on my driveway. I guess they didn t see their stamp. Poor quality did not put enough whatever underneath before pouring hence the sunken slab. I used them because the original slab sunk and I told them to be aware.

We hired F&M Contractors to replace our concrete driveway and sidewalk. From the first visit from TJ to give us an estimate and see what we needed to the finished project was a great experience. We had a lot of issues with water in our carport and a pond on our sidewalk every time it rained. TJ did an amazing job designing the driveway and sidewalk. All our water issues are resolved. The crew was very professional and respectful. Showed up on time, cleaned up each day before they left. I 100% recommend F&M Contractors!!

F&M Contractors is a good company and I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing a driveway replacement. They were professional, attentive, and did what they said they would when they said they would (not always the case for many contractors!). TJ and Andy are very no nonsense in a way that I liked (do you really want a touchy feely group laying concrete anyway?) and Maddison is great! Three thumbs up!

On the recommendation of a friend, I contracted with this business to re-pour my garage floor. A large crew arrived at 7:00 am on an intensely hot day and, much to my astonishment, had completed the job by 4:00 pm, including demolition of the old floor, pouring the new floor, and applying three finishing coats. I am a perfectionist, and although this job was completed expeditiously, it was also done perfectly. When I discovered two holes in the outside foundation of the garage that were caused by settling of the driveway, F&M kindly sent someone to patch them although they were under no obligation to do so. From the Client Relations/Scheduling Coordinator, to the Estimator/Project Manager, to the CEO and all the workers, all were consistently courteous and patient with my many questions. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with them and I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome.

Hands down, it was a top notch experience! I considered a less referred company who was slightly lower in price, but followed my gut and awareness of their numerous excellent reviews! The process was smooth from start to finish! F&M crews were on site several days and what was very impressive was that TJ, who was my initial contact with the estimate, came to the site daily and even helped the skillful crew when the concrete was poured. Rarely does ones superior actually do the work! The men were respectful, courteous and their attention to detail showed pride in their work! I was so glad I used F&M because of all of the attention to detail! I did not expect the service F & M provided and am certain the other company would not have been able to provide that! The drive and walkways look fantastic! Call F&M and dont bother with others.

Demolition of existing concrete sidewalk reminiscent of Burke Ave, Towson-- rebuild; pour concrete; and then cover with Bluestone. Magnificent job-- these guys are Total PROFESSIONALS! We were initially introduced to them by way of an insurance claim earlier this year. I might add that weve been in the process of upgrading our residence since 2016-- this project thanks to F&M is the cherry on top. Start to finish by way of the insurance claim, was about 6-months... like most contractors, I gather they have a lot of business related to the Pandemic. But-- This IS IMPORTANT!-- F&M Contractors gets an A+ when it comes to HONESTY. They Came-In precisely as quoted per their original Estimate back in April-- having dealt with God-knows how many contractors since 2016, their Workmanship & Craftsmanship is beyond compare. I would hire them again in a minute (and may do so in the not-to-distant future as we contemplate the installation of a pool).

These guys are fantastic to deal with. I have used them for several different jobs, and all have been great experiences. The workmanship is always top notch. The service is great. Highly recommend them for anyone who is doing any kind of concrete work.

I found these guys on Next Door and they were given nothing put positive reviews. I am always looking for anyone I do business with to be professional and reliable and they were exactly what others said they were! Everyone I spoke with was polite and knowledgable and I felt very comfortable hiring them. My sidewalk in the back of my townhome had been disrupted by a huge tree I had removed and water was being pushed back towards the house, it also was just a hazard. I also wanted to extend my patio to make more room for guests and they did exactly what I wanted and more! Highly recommend them for concrete work. A little pricey but you get what you pay for :)

Going with F&M was a no-brainer. F&M installed a new driveway, apron, sidewalk & 2 walkways at my home after another family member had them replace their driveway several years ago. We are thrilled with the excellent work that the F&M team did with repaving our driveway and apron, paving a walkway from our driveway to our backyard, and replacing an uneven concrete block at our entry. From TJs initial visit listening to our needs and measuring our space to Maddisons regular email and phone communication, and Andys onsite coordination during the two full days of work, our experience with F&M from start to finish was extremely positive. They were detail-oriented, attentive, timely, communicative, and efficient. We had reached out to several other concrete companies - some did not get back to us at all, some reached out initially, but did not follow up, and another provided us with an estimate that was thousands of dollars more than what F&M was charging. We contracted F&M for a large driveway and walkway project. It encompassed ripping out old asphalt driveway, widening and replacing with concrete. Also, we had them rip up old concrete walkway and replace with pavers. Could not be happier with the final result and the customer service provided throughout. TJ, Andy and rest of team are top notch professionals who listened to our needs throughout and exceeded expectations. I talked to about a dozen different contractors as it was such a large job I wanted to make sure due diligence was in line. Great experience from start to finish! We had an asphalt driveway replaced with concrete. F&M also replaced a butler stone patio. The whole crew was professional and everything went like clockwork. After the concrete and patio were completed another crew came and made sure the disrupted parts of the yard were sodded and seeded. We are super happy and would highly recommend F&M !

We recently completed a driveway expansion and had a wonderful experience with F&M Contractors. Our project manager, TJ was very responsive, helpful, and communicative throughout the process. He even sent me pictures of the progress while I was at work. The team of workers completed the project in two days and left our yard in the same condition as when they started -including reinstalling our mailbox which was moved, adding sod to the parts which were dug up, and using boards for the trucks as to not leave tracks in the grass. F&M just finished replacing our 40 year old builder-installed driveway, two-car garage floor and walkway to front steps. TJs estimate was very detailed. Discussed were existing problems with the old original and how F&M would correct it. Home builders may know how to build a house but they are not that great at slab-concrete work. To do it right, we are very happy we turned to the pros at F&M. The crew was also very helpful with some issues around our in-ground irrigation system which were resolved. Their conscientious and detail oriented team which included Andy and Mike were truly a well oiled machine from demolition and installation to landscape cleanup. These are the go-to guys for this type of work. Passers-by compliment on the job regularly. Dont waste your time and money going elsewhere. F&M just finished replacing our old builder-installed driveway and front walk. If youre comparing prices, think twice about taking a lower bid. This was my second job with F&M, a driveway two years ago and now a patio. They arrive with a full crew of 6 or 7 guys at 6:55 am and work hard all day. Supervisor on site makes sure everything moves along, if changes need to be made, they check with the owner. Fast, efficient, perfect job. They were not the lowest bidder. But they were the best and thats what I paid for. Worth every cent. Job done in 2 days, including removing a tree stump.

I had them put in a smallish paver stone patio. They did it for a great price and we love the final product; it far exceeds our expectations. They were very communicative through the lead-up to the install and through the install process.

When the Baltimore city inspector makes a special trip to your home and informs you that this is the best driveway he has ever seen and asks for the contractors business card; you know what kind of job to expect from F&M Contractors. Friend,neighbors and strangers- all have stopped to ask who did the job. I am pleased.

I called this company to complain that they left an advertisement in a plastic bag with rocks in my front yard. This is garbage, and a low-class way to advertise. The woman on the phone I spoke to to complain about this was exceptionally rude. I suggested finding a form of advertisement that did not involve plastic bags, rocks, and throwing them in peoples front yards.

We are extremely pleased with the driveway and sidewalk installed by F&M Contractors. From start to finish the job was seamless and worry free. I was very concerned that the work was being done on Halloween but F&M went above and beyond to ensure the safety of the trick-or-treaters(even decorated with pumpkins to provide them a safe pathway) and also to complete the work without disruption before the next rain storm. Your worker driving a company truck with your name on it went around a school bus in a neighborhood while red lights and stop sign activated and passed on the left while students were boarding. Refusing to obey the law. Thats not a contractor I want working for me! Shame on him!

This company is too cheap to pay for mailing their advertisement. Instead they drive by my home and throw a bag of rocks in my driveway with a flyer inside. Get a life and stop littering my property with your trash.
