My wife and I highly recommend Heroes Lawn Care in Closter. Please refer to the pictures. After a very disappointing experience with another landscaper when we moved into this new construction house in May 2024, we feel very fortunate to find this full-service company. They do it all… landscape, cutting, maintenance, trimming, sprinkler, lights, paver, fall/spring clean-ups, to name a few. After careful consideration, we decided to put sod in the front yard and seed in the backyard as this option worked within our budget. We also got fee quotes from three other companies before making the decision, and we felt Heroes Lawn Care provided competitive pricings and most importantly, they seemed very trustworthy and responsible for their services (which we can now 100% attest to). We also decided to put paver walkway & patio in the backyard which turned out great. They also provide sprinkler installation/repair services which is a huge plus when seeding and/or installing sod. The owner, manager and all 4-5 workers behind the scene are very hardworking, personable and efficient, and they really do care about the quality product/services as if it is their house. The owner and manager often stop by your house to check up on the status and even do the work themselves. You may find another cheaper landscaper elsewhere, but you will end up either redoing the yard or spending more money to fix it. Again, we highly recommend Heroes Lawn Care and we’re already excited about next spring!
Heroes Lawn Care is a professional and accommodating landscaping service. One of my favorite things about them is that they are a one stop shop for lawn care, mulching, irrigation services, shrub, and weed control services. The staff are on time and reach out to ensure they coordinate when they will be on site. Highly recommend their quality work.

This is our first full year of lawn service using Heroes landscaping. We used them for lawn service, shrub trimming, leaf pickup, sprinkler opening & closing and even to extend our sprinklers from 3 to 4 zones. They consistently did a wonderful job with all of it. Anytime I reached out to them with any questions they always promptly return my text messages. Highly recommend them for your lawn needs.
Staff did an aeration and overseeding of my lawn in September and last week came back to apply Dimension, a product that is expected to eliminate crabgrass next year. They also winterized my irrigation system. They are very professional and good communicators. I plan to sign up for their irrigation maintenance program.

Great service and overall great experience so far! It s only been several months and I had only expected to use their mowing service but with everything going so great, I m considering extending the service and looking into other offerings. Very reasonable pricing and very quick without sacrificing results.

I just started using Heroes Lawn Care after my previous lawn care companys service deteriorated rapidly in the span of one season. I initially called them in November 2023, and Anthony (manager and co-owner) came over to assess my lawn. He spent 45 minutes with me going over my needs, but since it was approaching winter, nothing could be done at that point. In particular, Anthony identified a weed that my previous lawn care provider could not treat with their products. Overall, I was very impressed with his professional and courteous demeanor. Absolutely no hard selling whatsoever. Even after the on-site visit, Anthony answered a few follow-up emails from me. In April 2024, I contacted Heroes Lawn Care again, and Anthony remembered our conversation. He was willing to make a second visit to my lawn to review the current situation. A few days later, Anthony sent me a quote for the lawn services I needed that was very competitive. It took me 2.5 weeks to respond back to hire them, but Anthony was still able to honor the quote. I started my lawn care with them, and so far its been great! I am also asking for a quote for an sprinkler system for the lawn. I would recommend giving Heroes Lawn Care a call.

I was very impressed with Heroes Lawn Care. I called them to winterize my sprinkler system, but had mentioned to Anthony (owner) that I had a couple of underground leaks and a zone fault that I was going to have them fix in the spring. The technician they sent, Lenny, arrived on time and was very professional. Not only did he winterize the system, but he found and fixed both leaks and fixed the zone fault by replacing a faulty solenoid. And he did everything in less than 2 hours. I am very happy with their service and would highly recommend them!
