We have hired Brilliant Borders to landscape 3 houses (yes, we move too much) & each experience has been great. Their concrete edging has so many options & colors & adds so much to your curb appeal.

Last year Brilliant Borders installed rock and a few hostas in a wet spot in our backyard. They did a very nice job! But this year I wanted more hostas! Jason so kindly agreed to put more in for us - digging around rocks and landscape fabric. It looks so great and i am so appreciative of Jasons efforts to improve the area even more. We keep coming back to Brilliant Borders. Jason is great to work with! We had them replace our old landscaping bed borders over the last couple years. They show up on time every day and get the work done. They agreed to some of my last second changes without any complaining and cleaned everything up. They left notices on my neighbors door apologizing for the dust from cutting the limestone and my neighbors said they really appreciated that. We will continue to use them for any project in the future

I finally have a lawn that s the best on the block! I went from such an embarrassing mess to a beautiful, very lush lawn. They also reset the cement squares so I actually have stairs that I not afraid to use. They did follow ups to make sure things were right. We ve had work done by Brilliant Borders in the past - concrete edging - and were very happy with their service and product performance. Last year we had Brilliant Borders take over our lawn fertilizing, weed control, etc. for the first time. We were very happy with the results and are continuing their services again this year. We are very happy with the service quality, and responsiveness provided to us by Brilliant Borders. They have installed drainage, two retain walls, concrete edging around the home, along with plant & tree installation. I am on their lawn maintenance program which has helped my lawn look green and healthy as well as help with small problems as they arise. Definitely worth every penny!

We had Brilliant Borders do our original landscape edging last spring and couldnt be happier with it! We did have one small crack happen and the whole team was very accommodating and quick to do the repair. Instead of fixing just the one cracked section, Jason had the crew replace the whole strip of edging so it would all be uniform. Great customer service, highly recommend!

We had absolutely zero landscaping when we moved into our current home. I had Brilliant Boarders come out and give me an estimate for concrete edging around my whole house. Dira and her crew were amazing. it was insanely hot the days they were here and worked like it was no big deal. there was actually an area that I thought looked completely fine yet Dira did not like and pulled out and redid. Absolutely love how everything looks and greatly appreciate the effort of Dira and her crew

I have used Brilliant Borders in the past for landscaping work and began using their lawn care program this spring. They are always professional, friendly and responsive. They do good work at a fair price.

Came out to reseal my edging last year only for it to bubble, forcing them to remove the sealer, try to reseal it again, still bubbled and the process went on. One would only assume the removal of the sealer could not be good on the finshed product. Now we are in a stand still of how to make this right and its on me to pay for the service that was included with installation because they couldnt get it right the first time. Now I am told to reseal it myself because I am simply asking they do it right so its looks good. It wasnt cheap and its supposed to bring curb appeal. Well its already losing color and curb appeal because of the resealing issue. The one plus is they did reach out and provide information to help me stain myself.

Replaced previous border of similar design. Improved the appearance of tje yard and received several positive comments from neighbors.

I have used Brilliant Borders for two years now to freshen up a large area of my yard that is mostly pine needles with shrubs and large trees. They are very quick to respond and the work has been completely very timely.

Leroy was great to work with on our landscaping project from planning, construction, completion on time and minor repair of damage from other contractors. Water from house & detached 3 car garage was piped underground to a French drain. Block retaining walls 5ft high that border a large driveway with low voltage lighting, native stone trim for a garden, trees, grasses & hydrangea plants are very attractive. Talented & clean workers who we trusted at our home. Definitely added value and beauty to our home.

The crew from Brilliant Borders did an excellent job of replacing and compacting the substrate on an existing brick patio! The crew showed up first thing in the morning and completed the work quickly, I am very satisfied and ready to enjoy that patio for years to come.

Jason communicated with us in a consistent and timely manner, and when there was an opportunity to move us up earlier in the schedule that was shared with us. Hands-down the best landscape company weve worked with. I am simply shocked at how responsive and professional theyve been on multiple projects. They clearly understand the value of communication when working with customers. We had a rather large water drainage issue that required extensive work. They not only helped us think through the right technical approach for addressing the issue, but also connected us with the city of Urbandale to obtain a storm water grant to assist in funding the project. In particular, we work with Jason Buckingham, who is incredibly responsive and helpful. At one point, he even hopped down in the hole to ensure we had a secure connection to the city drainage system. Thats a committed sales person! I cant say enough good things about Brilliant Borders.

Brilliant Borders installed our border and some landscaping last fall. The landscaping was great, but there were some issues with the border. The company came back this year and corrected the issues. We are happy with the final results.

Brilliant Borders preform both ongoing yard treatment for weeds/fertilization/etc. as well as a landscaping overhaul adding concrete borders plants, trees, rocks etc. Our yard has gone from a 1 to a 1 million. Brilliant Borders did a fantastic job transforming our backyard into a beautiful garden. They put in a double bordered patio with a beautiful retaining wall and steps. They then added their awesome colored cement border and filled it in with rock. It was quite a large project and they started while we were on vacation in Colorado. Travis (who will take very good care of you during the whole process) texted videos and pictures of the progress while we were away. He is very personable and easy to get ahold of, unlike many other construction companies we have worked with in the past. The workers were very efficient and always cleaned up at the end of each day. Love this company! It is locally owned. They do design to finish. We chose Brilliant Borders for their concrete edging and landscaping. We are so happy with the finished results!
