My lawn looks absolutely stunning spring, summer, and fall! I hired Wade after buying a house that had been neglected for years. Most of the grass at that time were weeds. I couldn’t even go in the back yard without being swarmed by insects that lived in the weeds. Not to mention the creeping charlie, dandelions, crabgrass, ticks, grubs and who knows what else. Knowing this was not going to be an easy fix, his knowledge and compassion gave me comfort in knowing I hired the right man for the task. After my first season I was blown away at the results. I actually had grass. This is my third season using gratiot landscaping, and the results are outstanding. Wade calls my lawn his baby, and treats it as so.
I'm a new customer, starting services in April 2024. Wade is very knowledgeable. The scheduling is why I'm giving 3 stars. He's scheduled appointments and haven't came or called to reschedule on numerous occasions. This was my first season with Gratiot Landscaping. I purchased the 6 fertilization treatments, had mulch removed and dark brown installed, an irrigation system installed, and the flower beds cleaned at the beginning of the season. The first set of pictures (2) is how I started on Apr. 16, 2024 and the second set is my last cut on Oct. 25, 2024.
Hired them last year to fertilize our lawn and my lawn hasn't looked this good in years. Hired them again this year as well. Scheduled visits are always on time and customer service is great! Highly recommend them.

FANTASTIC!!! Wade and his staff have been the best lawn service we have used in at least 7 years. They let you know when they're on the way, their attention to detail is impeccable and their professionalism is much appreciated. Wade has gone above and beyond to make sure our lawn is maintained wonderfully. You couldn't ask for anything better. Lastly, whereas other people were charging quite a bit more he is very reasonable.
I absolutely love Wade and Gratiot landscaping. We lost our grass cutting service in the middle of the summer and Wade stepped right in and took over for the rest of the season. They do an amazing job & they are their weekly on time. I highly recommend Gratiot landscaping.!!

THE COMPANY MOWED AND I THOUGHT I WAS ON A SCHEDULE TO GET MY LAWN DONE WEEKLY OR BIWEEKLY - NEVER SAW HIM AGAIN. HE WAS ALSO MOWING MY NEIGHBORS LAWN LEFT BOTH OF US HIGH AND DRY - NO CALL, NO EXPLANATION, NO NOTHING THIS IS NOT HOW PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE ACT IN LIFE! THE RATING I GIVE FOR A COMPANY LIKE THIS MAN IS A 1 BAD SERVICE CANNOT GET HOLD OF HIM ON THE PHONE OR LEAVE A VOICE MAIL IT IS ALWAYS FILLED AND YOU CANNOT LEAVE A MESSAGE. Called them for a single cut on a really long lawn, they showed up the next day to check it out, and sent a really competitive quote. They came out after everything dried up a bit, and did an excellent job cutting and edging, as well as keeping everything clean when they were done.
Gratiot Landscaping was a lifesaver. Our yard and garden bed needed WORK. They helped us tremendously. They were fast, highly professional and brought beauty to our yard. Wade and his team are very knowledgeable when it comes to landscaping, and adding curbside appeal. So quick, efficient and the quality is worth bragging about. I can tell they actually cared!
