This is an update from last year I am updating my review to 5 stars. I was able to schedule my service when I wanted it and Paul the tech was great even blew off my driveway from any residual fertlizer. That is important because of my new dog.

We like Good Nature. We have been using them for several years. I can say that the native critters such as rabbits,birds and bees like that we use Good Nature too. And we have huge worms which shows that there organic treatment is not harmful to the eco system.

Honestly for $1,000.00 the customer service is lacking. There isn t a schedule, they just tell you they are coming. Also if you are looking for that customer service experience to get to know who you are talking to forget it. You are a number not a customer. I believe in their mission but they execute it poorly. Signed up in April and our soil analysis still hasn t been done. If it has been they didn t tell us. Canceling was easy, they did it for us without authorization. It s not worth the price or headache.

I just started using this service. I called and talked to Kim, while she hilariously listened to my banter about my front yard having dandelion babies. The team at Good nature, reading my hilarious texts and replying in seriousness, but Im sure they were laughing off screen at my funny descriptions of my child being wrestled off the grass from his life saving tree plant. Jeff the technician who came out with a 15-20 min heads up, so I could let my child know hed have to stay off, but Jeff showing up at around 1:55 pm and leaving shortly after was a great way for me to persuade my dinosaur son to leave the yard and take a trip to the nearby toy store . Jeff answered ALL of my questions about the fertilizer and applications they provide for the grass. Those of you looking to get this service done. We have clients ourselves as a company not affiliated with Good Nature in anyway unless some how you can install tiny garage doors on grass... Is that even a thing? Okay, anyways, so yes it does get rid of the weeds, no baby dandelions happening in the grasses that we have seen. It works and its SAFE! SAFE FOR THE HONEY BEES, BUMBLEBEES and Butterflies because we need all of those things in this world to make fruit on our trees. No run off and so safe!! Ugh no round up!!!! No cancer!!

Thank you fir servicing my yard. I am generally quite pleased with the company ad tge techs. But I have asked thid company time and time again not to force the gates opened and closed. As you can see both gates are damaged and I will have to pay for repairs. I have been here all day and almost always am here when good nature comes by yet the techs keep tampering with my gates. I know that you are all trying to do your job and trying to be helpful but I cannot continue to bear the cost and inconvenience of the constant stress being placed on my fencing.

Weve been using Good Nature for several years. Our yard was being overtaken by weeks and were close to water, but with kids and a dog, I didnt want the harmful chemicals. Three years later our yard is so improved!! Creeping Charlie has subsided, along with other weeds, and grass looks great. Always get a text before service so I know when theyre coming, and feedback from the lawn tech is thoughtful after each visit. So happy to have a safe lawn alternative for our family!

I live in an Akron neighborhood where many homeowners use chemicals to keep weeds at bay and fertilize their lawns. I hate the smell when I walk around and know the air has been polluted, even if just for a few hours. I also know the soil is being contaminated. The process of holding my weeds at bay has been a slow one but I notice the difference. Besides, whatever clover or dandelions survive are good for pollinators. I m good with that.

I have used Good Nature for over 10 years now and love them. ,I started because my parents ran a franchised chemical lawn care company and ended up with Parkinson s and Lymphoma which I believe was mainly due to the chemicals they kept in their garage for this business.Between that and wanting to be environmentally conscious I chose to go with Good Nature. As a result, my lawn is now greener than all my neighbors yards and rarely if ever requires watering. Maybe once or twice a year. This is because what this company does is feed my soil. As a result, the soil has more nutrients to feed my grass and is able to soak up and retain more water. The weed situation is something that takes time to fix. I have used a combination of their spot chemical application, and their weeding tool, and found that over time the weeds have decreased as the soil and grass got healthier. Good Nature won t fix your yard over night. Chemicals have made your soil a wasteland and this will take time to repair but the end results have been so worth it

I have been using Good Nature for a year or so and the lawn has really improved. They did seeding yesterday. I had to cut the lawn extra short so it left a lot of cut grass on the lawn. They raked that all up and cleaned allow the walkways, including the neighbors. They are not cheap but so far I am happy with the results

Always closes the gates behind himself. May sound silly but other companies have left them open. Appreciate this since I have dogs.

Good Nature has serviced our lawn for quite a few years and I m happy with the results. It s green and healthy but doesn t look like a golf course. I have so many bees and butterflies along with praying mantids and healthy happy spiders. My garden is like a balanced and healthy ecosystem. GN has also used their natural lavender granules to keep mice out of my home. Always have had a problem in the spring and fall with the critters getting in my basement. I was skeptical about it but it actually works. Have gone from 12-15 a year to maybe 1 determined creature. Well worth it. The workers are very respectful of my house, yard and garden.

But after waiting since last year to do a lawn reno with them, come to find out they told me this year, its not possible on my lawn. So I chose to move on without this company. Im still doing organic, but am taking a more purposeful and aggressive approach, plus doing it myself. They said of my yard, their program will take years to show progress, so its too cost prohibitive with results that Im not patient enough to wait years. I will be using their grass seed as it very good.

Good Nature Organic lawn is the lawn treatment I ve always wanted, but could never find. I do not want my home lawn covered in chemicals that can do harm to my family or pets and Good Nature answers that. I had my first year of treatment and noticed a difference with 24 hours of their first weed buster treatment. I didn t see a dandelion the rest of the season and I had to be one of their more challenging customers with a bad foundation of weeds. Give GN a try, you will not be disappointed.

Ron came out to apply organic fertilizer and a weed treatment to my lawn. He was friendly, answered all of my questions, and we had a nice conversation about my lawncare regimen and the state of my grass. My lawn looks great and Im pleased to be doing it organically. I loved that their treatment was safe for my puppy dog, as well. I had to discontinue my service because I was cutting back on expenses due to some medical issues. When I told them why, they sent me the sweetest chocolate covered fruit basket as well wishes for my recovery. I am absolutely amazed and super grateful for their kindness! Madison Baker was the technician who performed the service call for me on May 26, 2022. She applied fertilizer and weed killer. I did point out to her a weed the keeps re-appearing in my lawn and she took one back to the office with her and identified it to me in an email. She was very polite and professional and definitely an asset to the company! Keep up the good work.

Not impressed! Was charged for cut, trim and blow but they only cut. Cut was patchy because spots were missed.

Besides all the natural benefits, my lawn looks great. Only lawn on the block with zero dandelions! I also like that the grass doesnt shoot up like weeds after a rain. Just good steady growth. Only caveat is that the results take time. Last year, meh. This year, wow!

My lot is not cookie-cutter and is in the woods...put up boundary markers for him and showed him what was involved...did a really great job. Kim called the day before to let me know appt time as requested. Had problems last year but this year is starting off great.

I called because of dying and browning trees. Bruce, the arborist came and as always spend time explaining what was going on and what I needed to do to rectify the problem. I always learn so much when he visits my yard with tree concerns (three trips so far I think). His advise is always spot on and it is nice you know there is no sales pitch involved! Since we have been using Good Nature Organic Lawn Care our neighbors complement us about our lawn being robust and green. Im also happy that Im no longer introducing chemicals into the environment. The strategy of crowding out the weeds is working. The weeds we do get are mostly dandelions and I can pull them in about 20 minutes per week rather than introducing more chemicals.

I have pets I love. Thats why I had Good Nature in the first place. But also the fact that my lawn looks great. The technicians are always generous with their time. They are quick to address any concerns that I may have.

I am really enjoying Good Natures service so far. It was reasonably priced and the do a great job. I actually really enjoy the reports they email you about your lawn after they come out, making some reasonable recommendations that arent just to sell you on other services, but educate you in the health and general condition of your lawn.

We cannot be happier with Good Nature Organic Lawncare. The technician came out and applied an initial application for mosquito, flea, and tick suppression. This was the 1st time we were able to sit out on our deck with minimal, and I mean minimal, insect activity usually chasing us back inside. The staff is very professional and accommodating. After many years of using standard synthetic fertilizers (think Scotts) I went organic a couple years ago, and intend to stick to this path. I used Good Natures Earth Turf Fall Blend organic fertilizer on my lawn for the first time last year. This is a well-balanced fertilizer, containing all three of the major macro-nutrients (N-Nitrogen, P-Phosphorus, and K-Potassium) in a granulated form that is easy to apply with any consumer lawn spreader. (I found that a setting of about 9 on my Scotts Edgeguard DLX broadcast spreader applied the targeted rate of 10 pounds per 1,000 sq.ft. Of course, YMMV.) My lawn responded well, without excessive immediate overgrowth. This natural blend of feed meals and minerals was just what my soil was hungry for! Well-balanced, easy to apply -- and it works great! Now its almost time to apply the Spring Blend...

We had a new lawn put in by another company that grew thin and patchy. We were not happy with the appearance and health of the new lawn, or the other company s response (or lack there of). Edward from Good Nature came out and worked up an assessment and more than reasonable treatment plan. The grass is now growing better than we ever expected. We are very pleased with the outcome and Good Nature s personal care and customer service. Many thanks to Edward and the entire team at Good Nature for taking care of us and exceeding our expectations!

I would like to know why your worker would think it is ok to apply anything to our lawn when it was completely covered in leaves and I phoned twice to stop the lawn service, to no avail! I made it very clear that Colin was in the hospital, that I could not rake my lawn, and that I was on family medical leave with no pay, yet your company continued to apply treatments on dead leaves.

I am so thankful to have an organic alternative for lawn care. I wish more people would be as concerned about the beneficial insects, the chemicals being rained into their drinking water and the vast emissions into the air we breathe from the toxic lawn services being used by other services. I am proud to be organic, proud to be a wildlife habitat, right here in my cozy neighborhood, and proud to support a local business that cares about our future. Service is above and beyond, friendly and professional. (But that doesnt mean you cant chat up whomever does the treatments.) I make sure the business sign is upfront and visible to anyone walking or driving by, cuz when they admire my yard and gardens, I want them to know its all done without a single chemical AND that they can achieve the same, while making tomorrow safe for future generations. Zach has been the most helpful lawn technician that I have ever worked with. Good Nature basically brought my lawn back to life after 2 years of neglect from previous owners. They use environmentally safe products that arent as harmful to kids and pets, so it was a no-brainer for us to use them.

Great job! Our lawn is getting better everyday...

Its amazing how good a lawn can look using natural fertilizers and weed deterrents. Im a huge advocate for Good Nature and have been with them for 7-8 years and two lawns.. We have always had exceptional and consistent results and customer service. As owners of a large Golden Retriever, we use the lawn constantly and cannot imagine playing with her on a chemically treated lawn. Always encourage my neighbors (many with dogs) to make the change from chemical treatments and eliminate the pellets that sprinkle the sidewalks. Theres also a feeling of doing my part to reduce chemical runoff into Lake Erie, a wonderful resource that is plagued by algae blooms every summer. A couple of years ago, we purchased a new house and with it an old, tired and unbalanced lawn (many incompatible grass types). Last summer, Good Nature replaced the lawn. They killed off the old, split seeded a new hearty mix, and continued to monitor, reseed, and fertilize as part of the service. This Spring, they cam back and over-seeded and continued with our regular program. It looks amazing and easily held up against the first wave of seasonal weeds and dandelions. Well be purchasing the tick, flee, and mosquito shortly. They are also very active in the local community, offering presentations with the citys water and sewer district, kids events, and supporting awareness and education with our schools.

Bruce is a very knowledgeable technician. He toured the yard with me and gave me advice on card for our trees and bushes.

Weve used Good Nature for our lawn service for several years and we are always pleased. We started using their weed suppression program this season and it is great. The product works almost immediately. We have it applied to our patio, walkways, driveway and some of our flower beds. The tech is careful around our flowers, which we appreciate, and stays clear of our veggie garden. The odor is slightly pungent (but not offensive) for the first day or two, it is worth it as after that you can pull most of the weeds up very easily (or in many instances, they shrivel-up and you dont need to do anything!). Well done Good Nature!

We moved into a new home this fall. Our lawn was a little tired. Our next door neighbor had a beautiful lawn... with a good nature flag in the corner. We decided to give them a try and we have not been disappointed. Our grass already looks 10x better and they are great people to work with. We are very, very happy and look forward to spring.

Over charged and lied about pricing and came out 3-4x within 45 days and then send a $280 Bill first month of using them. Sales lady told me it would be $77 for first month....

I am a DIYer from Pittsburgh and Good Nature has helped me transform my chemically treated toxic lawn (previous owners doing) into a lush green chemical free lawn. Their program is safe, effective, environmental sustainable and a great value. While the so called traditional lawn care programs appear to be effective, they certainly are not safe, are not environmentally sustainable, and are not a good value. After talking to Good Nature we decided the best course of action was to replace the lawn. Good Nature was very quick to react when we told them what we wanted to do.
