Matthew was great with communication from the get go. He is hard working, personable and answered all our questions given our experience with a yard for the first time. In addition to the lawn mowing and maintenance, he was very helpful to set up our sprinklers. I will recommend him to anyone.

We basically had to start from scratch and dirt with our new construction home/yard, we are already seeing progress and we are confident we will have a great looking lawn after all of his work. Our yard was overwhelmed with Fall leaves. I was dumping some leaves at the yard-waste facility and met Matthew Stewart while I was there. I knew I had too many leaves to get rid of on my own and asked Matthew to come by and provide an estimate to complete the work. This spring, we hired Stewart Natual Landscapes to trim lots of bushes and lay mulch around our home. Matthew serviced us quickly, was attentive to our desires, and did an excellent job. He communicated with us appropriately and completed the job with integrity, meeting our high expectations. We highly recommend this landscaping company.

I had Matt come out to mulch my play area and to come up with a plan to recover a lawn that had been wrecked by a septic tank project. I have talked to several landscapers and he is easily the most conversant and knowledgeable one I have talked to. He completed the mulch project ahead of schedule and did a great job (even though his company is an employee of one right now). As for the lawn recovery process, he is still working on that; but, out of all of the landscapers I have talked to, he is the only one who is actually taking the steps to tailor the project to my yard. More specifically, he recognizes that the most important part of having a great yard is having great soil and that a lot of issues will take care of themselves without having to use chemicals if you get the soil right. To that end, while he did eyeball the yard and give me an initial take on it, he is taking the time to get soil samples to make sure that we implement the right approach for my yard. So, for right now, mulch job looks great and I anticipate that he'll have the yard looking great soon as well. Based on my experiences so far I will continue to use Matt for any yard related projects that I cannot tackle myself and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a landscaper.
