Lawn Tech Inc in Cleburne

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. This company is incompetent. Used them 4 times to do a mandatory backflow inspection. I pay them $85 to do the inspection for them to tell me a valve failed - but couldn't give me any other info as to why because the backflow is 1 1/2 years old -rather they want to replace it for $475. I don't have the money for that so I contacted the county who requires this test. After going back and forth as to WHY the test failed, trying to obtain a copy of the report to no avail, my friend offered to loan me the money to pay another company to have a second opinion on the inspection. The company goes out immediately the same day (yesterday). Calls me to tell me everything was GOOD and the backflow PASSED. This morning Lawn Tech contacts me about having their inspector to go out and do another "courtesy" inspection and flush the valves, etc. I advised that I already had to borrow money to pay another company to which it PASSED. I requested the owner to contact me regarding my concerns and to get some compensation since Lawn Tech's "inspector" couldn't do it correctly the first time. Rather than hearing from Mr. Taylor, Carroll contacts me - seriously. She was rude, continued to interrupt me and make excuses like "the inspector DIDNT HAVE TIME" to do the inspection correctly the first time. So they want to charge me $475 for a replacement because their inspector didn't have time to do it correctly the first time. And to learn that I wasn't the only person he did this to. They contacted me today because sooooo many other backflow systems had failed per Carroll. DO NOT USE this company. Seems to me just a bunch of scammers and can't even admit when they're in the wrong. ZERO STARS!!!

They won’t return to take care of weed problems in between normal treatments like they say they will when they sell you the service.

In addition to doing an excellent job trimming our trees, Lawn Tech and their hard working team exceeded my expectations in the manner they converted our lawn from Bermuda grass to St. Augustine. They have provided an outstanding value for the services performed.

I use them for weed control and fertilization. They have done a great job for years but this year the weed treatment does not seem to have worked. I do highly recommend them.

Lawn Tech has been serving Cleburne for about as long as I can remember, and they have always done a great job on anything from mowing lawns to trimming or removing trees. They have a great reputation for being friendly and dependable.

Hired Lawn Tech to do my sprinkler install at new home build. They took care of the project efficiently, and on time and on budget. I spoke to the owner and he pointed out some potential drainage issues based on the yard slope. I pointed it out to the builder and he corrected it. Great catch Lawn Tech! Was so impressed, I had them lay the sod and do the flower beds!! Another superb job. Having them back this Spring to do the backyard. Highly recommend them.

Never, Never, Never use this company. I can only speak of my experience but it was not a good one. On more than one occasion I felt as though I was getting charged ( I only did every other week) and my yard was not being mowed. I called to find out exactly when their service tech did my yard and I started watching. After this I was home one day and they parked in front of my home but mowed my neighbors yard not mine. I took pictures of the truck and the man mowing and called to complain. They sent John out and he disputed that the man had not mowed my yard. I showed him the pictures but he still argued. I was home the entire time and know that the man did not mow my yard. John said he would talk to he owner and try to get the charge taken off because he knew I wouldn't pay it. Who would pay for something they didnt get? The next week we put off have some work done on our house on Wednesday because that was the day the yard was going to be done, what do you know, they didn't show up. My husband called an terminated their services. Instead of taking off the charge for the mowing that never happened the billed my credit card. You have to give them one when you set up your account. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!

I was told I would get a phone call between 6:30 and 7:00 am the morning they were coming out “didn’t call till 9:07” when I started working on other things. they came out with 2 men - the men were told by supervisor “4” times EXACTLY what to do - the men were very good workers - the men cut down the first tree approx. 11" dia. 15'+ long and was instructed "NOT" to cut in to pieces BUT THEY DID! $600 ash juniper log lost cut up into about 3’ chunks “really” - then they were starting to trim of 4 more fallen trees when I had to run out the door and stop them from cutting these 15'+ beautiful logs into little 3' chunks they cut about a third of the way through one before stopped them - I had to baby sit these men for over 4 hours if I hadn't I would have lost about $3,000 - of beautiful logs as it is I was only out one approx. $600 log. "compendia" - the men were very good workers they just had a communication situation - other companies I’d talked to gave me in writing “how many men – how many hours – what they could and couldn't do” not Lawn Tech not even a business card! I was naive to think that a company that would not give me a written contract nor the ability to communicate explicitly with their crews could do the job I needed done. My new lessen in life. I do believe they can do very good work they are just missing a couple of ethical steps in their procedure in my opinion. Thank you
