Jeremy and his crew were great to work with. When there was a couple little things I wasn t satisfied with he was quick to come right back out to get them done. Would definitely recommend them.

I have a 30 ft boxwood hedge running down one side of my front yard with some holly bushes at one end. They all have been neglected over the years and became an eyesore Southern Tree Care came and trimmed them all up nice.

An amazing tree service company In Clarksville, TN. They did an exceptional job. They did everything I requested and more. Very polite and friendly. They cut down a large tree, some large Crepe Myrtle, trimmed my trees over the driveway, and trimmed trees hanging over the dog fence. Picked everything up, and even took some trash I did not want...amazing customer service. I have found my new shrub trimers, bush trimmers and more. I highly recommend them...I thought their prices were a very good deal. In addition to the above, they are very quick to respond...unlike the other two tree companies I contacted. Thank you

Today we had services done by Jeremy and His Crew they were here at about 8:45am and done by 4:00 pm Pricing was very reasonable and when Jeremy came out to do the estimate he was so friendly. We appreciate his promptness to our trees he came out 6/13 and work was done by 6/25 if we ever need anything in the future we will call them back.

Very disrespectful, treated us like idiots, and refused to listen to what we wanted. Came in hot and heavy trying to tell us what he was going to do before even communicating with me the home owner. The. When challenged he got an attitude and left. Would not recommend at all

Great tree service! I called and they came out to give a free estimate the very next day. Work was completed in a week and the yard was cleaned up including any stray leaves and twigs. Very efficient!

I hung up after saying wow, you realize that is over double what you quoted. You said you made a mistake and I said I did too by calling yall and hung up in your face. I never called you out of your name. Then you and your husband called me multiple times back to back which I ignored. So if you offered any discounts I wouldnt have heard that because I hung up in your face for that shady scam you tried to pull, but Im sure that was another lie you added here to make you look better. Like the lie I called you out your name. I am way classier than that mam. Gave me a price of 700 called the next day and said she made a mistake and it would be 1500. I would not recommend them. Id give 0 stars if I could. Bad business!!! Beware!!!!

I do not have much experience with tree removal but I can say this team from start to finish has been amazing! Erica was quick to get me the info I needed to make a decision with going forward and I am thankful. They were quick to get the job done and went above and beyond! I had two trees taken care off. The one in my front yard got completely taken down and the other in my backyard got cut in half. They did awesome work. Southern Tree Care removed 5 trees from our backyard for a very reasonable price. The crew left the yard looking better than it was before they arrived. Service was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend using their services.

I went on their page late at night and left an email asking if they do free estimates. The next morning I had already received a text. Got a phone call and got a free estimate done. This was my second estimate from a company and my last. Southern Tree Care has a boom truck and the excellent communication won me over along with of course the price. Previous company I got quote from wanted more than double, if I didnt want my power line taken down by electric company and to keep the building next to it. That building next to it is a playhouse that was built by my sons grandfather whom has passed. It is very sentimental to our family. Southern tree Care left the playhouse undisturbed and didnt leave me without power all day by me calling the electric company. They cleaned up the branches and mulched them. They lifted the power line to get the truck under it. If you have ever had anything sentimental, then you know how much this meant to me. Thank you for everything! I had left special instructions and they were followed.

I will start by saying they were very responsive, quoted and stuck to a great price, Very professional, moved with a purpose, kept us in the loop as they were removing the trees and did an exquisite job. We knew we had to get rid of some of the trees in the yard. We saw them in action cleaning up some of the neighbors trees so that put this all in motion. We called a few places (3) and got quotes from each. Southern was under each quote and even had the best timeline to get it all done. They explained every step and even when something came up they made sure we knew everything that was going on and the reason why they were doing it. For safety reasons they even dropped a tree for free for us because it was intertwined with a dead tree. No extra charge and a very good explanation as to why it would be safer and more beneficial to drop them both. Now, let me tell ya, dropping two 60-70 foot trees is not a joke(in my eyes). These guys rolled in ON TIME and had both gone within 5 hours. Thats with taking the fence apart in a couple of sections and grinding out 4 additional stumps left by the builder. Their clean up was fast and did everything we asked them to do without the slightest issue. The crew was very courteous and professional at all times!! In fact, we spent most of the time watching them take out those monster trees just out of pure curiosity. I would definitely recommend their service to others needing professional tree removal!!

I contacted Southern Tree Care to trim a number of trees on our property, cut down some trees, take out some stumps, and plant a memorial tree for my husband. I was very concerned as these trees are my husbands legacy and I needed them handled with care. Southern Tree Care did just that. They arrived on time and got right to work. They were professional and respectful of my property. They did a beautiful job. They were also extremely careful in the planting of the memorial tree. I am so thankful to have found Southern Tree Care. I can now breathe easy that I have a company that can continue to help me take care of the trees my husband had planted and cared for most all his life. I would highly recommend Southern Tree Care. These kind folks were removed a holly tree in my front yard and grinder the stump so fast and efficient, by far the best tree removal service I ve ever had. The workers were extremely kind and professional. I recommend this business to all. They also have really good prices

I am so grateful for this company. They had a difficult job pruning and removing some LARGE trees in a very tight spot around an above ground pool. They couldn t get any equipment into the backyard so not only did they have to physically climb the trees to cut them down but they had to lower them with ropes and cart the limbs down a hill to the wood chipper to avoid hitting the pool. All of this on an extremely windy day. The lady that answered the phone to set up the appointment was super friendly and the man who came out to give me an estimate (Steve) was very professional and knowledgeable. I called on a Tuesday for an estimate, he did the estimate on Wednesday, and they were cutting the trees on Friday. I felt the price was more than fair considering the large amount of extra work it was going to take. They even tried to get the leaves out of the pool even though I told them they didn t have to. They whole crew was great. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent service! Reached out for an estimate after a storm knocked off a large portion of my tree. Jeremy came over within an hour. Then he went above and beyond to schedule a same day removal and trim to make sure there was no further damage done. His team was polite, worked quickly, and did a great job! We called on a Sunday and they came out within 30 min to do an estimate. The whole team was prompt, on time, and able to squeeze us in last minute asap. Super appreciated how well they communicated and did exactly what we wanted which consisted of dropping 10 trees near our fence and our neighbors. I called Jeremy Johnson of southern tree care and within 24 hours his crew had my entire red oak removed with no issues at all. The tree was growing in between my pool and garage and was at least 75 ft tall. I was amazed at the skill level and professionalism of his work crew. I would recommend them.

Southern Tree Care is a misnomer. No one at this business understands the concept of care, either for trees, or for customers. When anyone hires someone else to do a job, the universal expectation and understanding is that the contractor is educated enough to make the right decisions for the job. For some reason, Jeremy and his team thought it was appropriate and wise to top the silver maple trees on my property. During the job itself, I even expressed concern about the severity of the pruning. He told me all horizontal branches were being removed and that the trees would not need trimming again for 5-7 years. The trees were about 20 years old at that time and had never been trimmed so I thought nothing of it. They were topped, meaning all green material was removed. At that time I assumed they would grow back into some semblance of the shade trees they had been the next year. Unfortunately, the next year they did not come back and consisted of several large dead vertical branches and the leaves were growing directly from the trunk. Naturally, Jeremey is contacted and never returned messages. In April, a written letter is addressed to Jeremy, in which the intent to file a complaint with BBB would be filed if a refund was not issued for the detrimental service, & the removal of the trees, which are now dying as a result of the job. All of a sudden, Jeremy decides to get into contact, but literally states that he would not be where he is today in response to the requests. So not only does Jeremy know that he has done shoddy work before, he doesnt care! He then tries to deflect responsibility by stating that there are ants on the trees, calling them infested. Even IF this were true, that information would have been pivotal in the beginning when deciding to move forward with any potential services. The professional crew should not have cut the trees if they knew this. The due diligence for assessment of the job falls squarely on the contractor, and to inform the client of any conditions before moving forward. Ever gotten your car fixed? Not only does Jeremy not take responsibility for his mistake, he had the audacity to try and charge another $1000 to remove the trees he butchered! In the Summer, the city forester came by the property on an unrelated matter and commented about how awful the trees looked. Naturally, I wanted to know more. A competitor in the tree trimming business came by and stated outright that silver maples should NOT be topped like that, and that the condition of the trees are most definitely from the topping debacle. Lastly, but certainly not least, a horticulturalist from UT came by and stated, the carpenter ants did not cause this damage. The ants came second. Carpenter ants are opportunistic and take advantage of a weakened tree. Carpenter ants do not feed on wood, but they do create galleries within rotting wood to build their nest within the tree. Unlike termites, an insect that does eat wood, carpenter ants excavate tiny bits of wood that look like course sawdust. Evidence of a carpenter ant nest within a tree does not indicate the tree is in a state of decline. From any point of view, the fault lays squarely on Southern Tree Care. Whether it be from the improper use of techniques such as topping, or shirking responsibilities by blaming an insect that does not even behave in ways they claim, the proper thing to do would be to issue a refund and remove the dead trees. The proper thing for you to do, is to hire someone who knows what they are doing in caring for your trees. Do not deal with someone who wouldnt be where they are if they were actually honest. When someone tells you who they are, listen. Perhaps going to court will get Jeremy to do the same. Edit: I was waiting to post pictures in the hopes of the owner seeing reason. As you can see from the owners response, there is no sympathy from him. I do not want free stuff, I simply want the situation made right. A refund or removal of the killed trees would suffice.

Fast response with a detailed estimate of work that needed to be done immediately and work that could be done at a later date. Their team was professional and answered all my questions. As an out of state property owner, they provided precise communication as well as photographs of the work performed. I ve got them saved in my contacts as they are my go to for tree service in Clarksville. I ve already reached out to them for another job. They have my highest recommendation.
