Very professional young man. Treats my home and yard with the upmost respect. If something needs to be moved to service the yard he ensures that he replaces it or closes the gate once he is done. I love that my yard is pretty and stands out amongst my neighbors.
That I have been using Lawn Doctor of Clarksville for more than 20 years is all you should need to know about how good their service is and how much I rely on it to keep my lawn healthy and green. The attached photo was taken in AUGUST one year, when things are already getting hot and dry... and this looks as good as it does in April or May. If you're not already using Lawn Doc, start now... and just keep going.
Disappointing services and customer focus from this company. In the past have had to call them back out to spot treat. Clearly areas that the tech simply didn't feel like hand treating (strip between sidewalk and road and strip between driveway an neighbors grass) so they simply didn't do it. Tipping point for me was the last treatment I received, or actually DIDN'T receive. Treatment was supposed to be fertilize and weed control. Handwritten on invoice that weed control was not done due to seeding. I called the office and requested a pro rated invoice due to service not fully being performed. I understand they couldn't at that particular time. Initial customer service rep said they would not change pro rate. Individual who I assumed to be a manager or owner called me back later. We discussed the issues. She was nice enough, but explained that they would not pro rate the invoice because their plan is their plan. I've been a customer since I've owned the home (now going on year 3) and if a very simple invoice adjustment had been made, I would have been fine. Unfortunately, the manager doubled down and dug her heels in on any invoice adjustment. What should have been a $25-$30 adjustment on an invoice simply demonstrated to me that the company really isn't customer focused and wants to come to the property 5-6 times a year, run their equipment over the yard in 10 minutes and bill the customer their thousand dollars. Not me anymore. I'll be shopping this service come spring. Thanks but no thanks Lawn Doctor.
YARD ARMOUR Yard armour was the second service we requested given the backyard had huge bare spots, which we'd not seen before in 13 years of being at this residence. Didn't see alot of improvement with this service. Shared this feedback with Lawn Doctor [based in Clarksville]. In September 2024, I was told to allow another week to pass. I did. Lawn Doctor [based out of Clarksville], but services Rutherford County said, we'll come back out to do another treatment with no fee. I followed up to share -- still no change in the appearance of the back lawn. Lawn Doctor [based out of Clarksville] did not come back out to do the courtesy service, as stated. When it was time for our next regular fertilization, which was the first service we'd secured, Lawn Doctor did the Yard Armour then. This is the Yard Armour that was to be a courtesy service several weeks earlier. I called and emailed to inquire about the $70 fee, for what was to be a courtesy. The young lady who answers at Lawn Doctor [based out of Clarksville] ignores that they did not honor what they said. They said they'd come back out for a courtesy service. They did not. That is not okay. She repeats the exact same thing, that was stated in September. Watch the back yard for another week, and if it's not looking any better, we'll come back out for a courtesy service of Yard Amour. I said, no. You need to honor what you said the first time in September. You should remove the $70 fee assessed. It was to be a courtesy service. She didn't agree. I asked to cancel the Yard Armour service. She did. I received an invoice for the regular fertilization, with the Yard Armour fee still there. I wrote a check and included a letter to the owner. The check was cashed. The letter was not acknowledged. I had to call, yet again, asking did the owner receive the letter. He had not. The owner calls. I state to the owner, exactly what I typed in this review. He says he'll credit the $70, which he did. But he didn't seem to see the obvious: a) honor what you said, office team b) respond to business correspondences, office team again I notice my yard isn't serviced anymore. I email on November 18, 2024 to learn the regular fertilization was cancelled. I did not cancel the regular fertilization. I cancelled the second service of Yard Armour. The owner, Mr. Williams, called this morning to state, I think we just need to cancel everything. The principle. Honor your word. Hold your internal office team accountable. Don't retaliate to a customer, by cancelling the base service, because the second service added doesn't work for the yard.

Michael with Lawn Doctor came out to power seed my yard. Before he started he politely asked me if I had any questions about the job he was about to perform. He told me about the job and about the product he was using. You could tell by the look on his face and the effort that he enjoyed doing what he was doing. Thanks my guy!
I want to be fully transparent with everyone here, this has been my PERSONAL experience and I invite you to form your own opinion. However I can’t let this go without being addressed. I called lawn Dr on Thursday 26 September with concerns about my yard. I was forwarded to a man named Brad. I explained to him my concerns with the high amount of crab grass, clover, and weeds and the lack of grass in many areas. I understand that it has been extremely hot “drought conditions” but i would appreciate an in person visit to address my lawn on an individual level instead of the broad stoke answer of it’s been “one of those summers”. He explained to me that he’s been doing this for 20 years(which I did not doubt or deny that he had) and that it would take time, the classic run around answer and not fully addressing the issue. It’s been over a year and in my opinion as a consumer my yard looks worse than it has in the past and worse than many of my neighbors who don’t even get their yards treated. I never raised my voice, never cursed or said anything malicious, other than simply stating I was unhappy with the current results. I was met with “you are being combative” and “not listening to me” by Brad. I was willing to continue the conversation however and asked if he could come to my house for an in person review; he said “ I’ll be there tomorrow!” I said what time? Informing him I too have a job, he said “ in the morning”, I said what time, simply asking for a time block so I could be home He then met me with once again telling me that I am “being combative” which I was not. He then proceeded to tell me “I’m not going to tell him how to run his business” which i in Fact never did. I simply asked for a time block so I could be present and not miss unnecessary time at work. He then once again lashed out at me as the consumer telling me to “find someone else to do it” and hung up on me. I gave it time, roughly 20 minutes, and called back to see what the actual outcome will be? He canceled my account against my will and was once again unwilling to find a compromise even when i was. Long story short, the grass is only half of the equation. It was his personal choice to treat the customer this way. It could have easily been remedied by a simple visit or an adult agreement. If I could give my grass a score it would be 0/10 and the customer service would be in the negatives. I hope this helps you as the future consumer in your own decision making process. I would like to thank Larry Jonhson and his associate for coming out and performing core/ seeding my lawn yesterday. It wasn't easy since it had rained the night before and I have hill in the back plus a lot of landscaping. It was still slick from the rain, but they did a great job maneuvering the aerator, which is heavy and bulky up and down the yard. Attention to details as they worked. They made sure that the entire yard was done. Great job! Thank you.
I happened to be home and watched the tech spread chemicals. several parts of the yard were missed and some of the paths were so far apart there is no way there was adequate coverage. I wasnt able to go outside to redirect his application.

My lawn was looking great after you power seeded a year ago. Now, large parts of it have just died. I dont know why, I suspect because of extreme heat. So I think it would help if technicians would comment on the water content in soil. Now technicians suggest power seeding again, and that is expensive. Perhaps all this could have been prevented if technicians paid more attention to yard status instead of just running out to put down what is typically ordered.
I have been a customer for four years and have used the annual services of the lawn care, tree and bush treatments and have tried the disease control care up until last year. I called to voice a concern regarding the health of my lawn. I received a phone call back from the owner Brad Williams who became agitated about two minutes into the discussion and told me I didn t want to hear the problem! Accused me of wanting to argue and was condescending when he said well you just need to water more! My attempts to explain the amount of water I put on the lawn was met with him telling me again and again I need to water more. Brad was argumentative and frankly appalling on how he handled a long term customer. Interesting enough this is the first time I have called to complain about the condition of the lawn. I am posting this negative review on the Owner of the company Brad Williams not the men and women who I ve spoke with or have serviced my landscape. Interesting enough he hung up the phone on me in mid conversation. I called back to get his name for this review and he hung up again telling me never to call again and without verification that my account had been closed. I will use another quote from Brad during our 8 min phone call, there are a thousand other people who provide the same service . So with this being said, I am sure he will comment back to this review and side step his tone and attitude towards me, just please be warned if you are contemplating purchasing services from his company Lawn Doctor. I have been a loyal customer for three years and have never felt compelled to write a review until now. Theres a first time for everything, and Saras exceptional service deserves recognition. From the moment I called in to ensure my account was current and inquire about their services, Sara was nothing short of outstanding. I expected mediocre responses, but Sara exceeded all expectations. She was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the products and services offered. The person that showed to spray our yard was not receptive at all to any questions that I had of the service. He made me feel like I should not be asking him. Although the work seemed thorough, the customer service seemed lacking.
Larry Johnson explained the reason for the brown patches and that it would get better as Fall approaches. He also explained what procedures we should get and what we didnt need. Mr. Johnson was very professional and and knowledgeable of services. He was very patient answering all of our questions.

Since I signed up with Lawn Doctor to treat my lawn, I have the best looking grass that I have ever had in my 37+ years of living in Hendersonville, TN. The land and dirt I have on my property is not the best for having a beautiful lawn but Lawn Doctor has tested and treated it throughout the years to help it produce a very nice tall fescue lawn. I get many comments on it now from neighbors and walkers in the area. I would recommend Lawn Doctor to anyone in need of superior lawn care.

I now have the nicest lawn I ve ever had! In past years, I used commercial weed and feed but the results were not nearly as good as Lawn Doctor. Yeah, it s not free but neither is all the product I had to buy and then spread myself. The neighbor s granddaughter loves to come over and lay on the grass and says how soft it is. Highly recommended!

We have been working with Lawndocter on our yard, which includes an incredible amount of shrubs and ornamental trees, for over 20 years. I am talking of several hundred individual bushes and ornamental trees. So we have put a lot of money into all of these plantings, and have never lost a tree or a bush with Lawndocter. s incredible help. This would not have happened without the fantastic full service that the Lawndocter offers and brings to our yard! It would ve been very time-consuming for me to figure out how to take care of these plantings, along with figuring out all the different types of products needed to keep all of these plants very healthy. I highly recommend using The Weed Man or Tru-Green and staying away from Lawn Doctor. I used them for almost 3yrs and found out they were charging me for portions of my yard that they were not treating. When I asked them to revise the bill going forward, they shared they are not able to do that (with no explanation). I was putting a pool in at the time and 1/3 of my lawn was dirt due to the construction. They still charged me the full amount. I have since switched to Tru-Green and the service/pricing has been much better.

We could not get any grass to grow at all...kept trying...kept failing! Lawn Doctor came out and power seeded our lawn (dirt) and within 10 days we could start seeing some green instead of brown! After three weeks we had a yard full of grass! So friendly and helpful! Wow! We have grass!

Outstanding Service, Mark came out and did the power over seeding. He put down a ton of seed and covered every square inch of my lawn. This was my first power over seeding and I will recommend this to one and all. It was a great job, very professional and for my lawn a better choice than the core seeding I had done in the past. Mark left me with the after action lawn waiting requirements ( two times a day for (6) weeks) depending on weather conditions. If you want over seeding done right give Lawn Dr a call.

29 January 2022: Lawn Doctor continues to give awesome service to my lawn. I have added a bunch of services and pay for the year in advance which gives me a nice discount. My Technician is now Ronnie and he takes really good care of me as, I am sure, he does with all his customers. 29 May 2020: Lawn Doctor continues to keep my yard looking beautiful and healthy. Jake, my Technician, is awesome. Yesterday, during a service call by a Locksmith, the technician made the comment about how beautiful my yard was. I was delighted to give Lawn Doctor all the credit. I have been with Lawn Doctor for at least 10 years and have never been disappointed. Jake, my Technician, is always professional, friendly, and answers all questions completely. I highly recommend this company for all lawn maintenance needs.
Don t waste your money! I spent thousands of dollars over the past two years on mediocre to poor service. I paid $3000 for power seeding as I had a few areas that had no grass. Those areas still have no grass! They tried to blame it on leaf management on my part. My gardeners were removing leaves weekly at a cost of $200-$300 a week. We Also paid for fertilization and weed control. Still have weeds. We paid for five mole treatment services. The last time they treated for moles I was in the side yard picking up sticks and the guy was here maybe five minutes. He skipped the entire side yard. When I let them know that I was unhappy with their service they pretty much said too bad. They refused to credit for the service or redo the mole service. Guess what, I still have moles.
I m so happy with what The Lawn Doctor has been able to do with my yard in only a few treatments. I ve lived here for 7 years and tried multiple services with other providers, and also do it yourself treatments, with little to no results. I called Lawn Dr. last fall and by spring my grass was thicker and no weeds. Wow! Did not expect that. So thankful for the excellent work they do and results. I ve been embarrassed for years of all the weeds and patchy grass, but now enjoy looking at my yard. Can t wait to see it after the power seeding this year. I am one satisfied customer and I m sure you will be too if you trust them with your yard as well.

We had a front lawn that was comparable to NASA pictures of the Martian landscape - brown, barren, and dry. Lawn Doctor came in and promised us a green lawn in 18mos. We got it in 6! Our tech William Hodges is very knowledgeable, professional, and works other lots in the subdivision and the results are amazing everywhere you see that Lawn Doctor sign pop up - our lawn has been given renewed life; the change is drastic enough for the neighbors to have noticed! Definitely recommended.

I never do reviews but just had to for this company. A year or so ago we asked for quotes from three different places. Our lawn was not in good shape and we thought we needed some temporary help to get in looking better. The other two companies didn t even come to our house to look at the lawn. They used a drone or looked up our square footage and gave a price. Lawn Doctor, however, sent a technician to look at the lawn and he wrote extensive notes about what was wrong with the yard. We were impressed with the service and decided we would give them a try. I can t even tell you how pleased we are! Two of our adult children have also started using Lawn Doctor. We all have had MULTIPLE people stopping to ask what we were doing to our lawn! It truly looks like carpet. One neighbor said, I just want to walk in my bare feet on your grass! We really don t do anything to it than cut the lawn. They come every other month to treat it and my husband says he would probably pay close to what we pay them if he was going to buy the products and do it himself. Don t waste your time with any other company! They are the best!
We switched from TruGreen and have seen our lawn just look amazing. Customer service over the phone has been excellent and the specialists that come to treat the lawn actually do their job thoroughly.
Our lawn had been decimated by moles and the overall poor grass condition in our neighborhood. Lawn Doctor suggested a full lawn renovation. We have been generally pleased with the results, and we get compliments from our neighbors on how nice our lawn looks now. I will note that I wish there was a little more automatic communication after a treatment or explanation as to why some things are happening (some large brown spots have appeared almost overnight in the backyard), but when you take the initiative to ask, the office is responsive with a quick email. Overall, I would recommend their services.

Great service for the past 2 years. Recently very poor service. Did not treat or inspect entire yard. Billed me for sevice not properly rendered, even after speaking to the owner. Disrespectful manager and the owner was fine with losing my business in The Boyer Farms neighborhood. I hope you have a better experience. They have some great people working there. I guess they have plenty of business.
Could not help me because they will not do the back lawn unless I do the whole lawn or front and sides. Considering I have 2 acres, this seemed unreasonable.
We have zero issues with delivery from anyone and this company won t come to our house because of our driveway steepness. It has a turnaround and they still won t make the effort. FexEX and UPS box trucks have zero issues. We moved here and pulled a 26ft UHAUL down the driveway completely unloaded and pulled out of the drive way no issues. We have almost an acre and this company told us we don t have grass .very unfortunate their communication. For being a LAWN DOCTOR they fail at their very own business.

After receiving a few fertilizing treatment, I saw no improvement. Due to summer heat, I decided to try hydro guard treatment, more than half of my yard was death. Pictures were taken 1.5 years and more than $1000 later. Still weed with barely any grass.
It s such a shame that a company who has a no nonsense guarantee and if you re not 100% satisfied, we ll make it right mottos, did neither in our situation. The lack of integrity that this company has shown towards us with, the unreturned calls, weeks of giving us the run around, empty promises of saying they d be out to see us and never showing up not to mention the cost. We ve invested 1,255 dollars this year only for our yard to look 100% worse than it did before their services. We ve followed every tip, and recommendation that was asked of us even when we did not see much yard improvement, we stayed hopeful due to their reviews, but after our last treatment that has left our yard looking the worse it has ever looked. The dishonest communication and the ZERO response to even reach a solution has been the last straw. When we finally pushed back on trying to receive solution and/or refund of future prepaid service, we were met with very poor customer service, sas, attitude and dodged calls from their front office. The only consolation is that after hours and hours of OUR time we may be getting a refund for our remaining treatments and can finally be done with these people, but the damage and condition of our yard is embarrassing and completly unacceptable.
After multiple conversations with this company earlier in the year requesting no fertilizer treatment during the drought, my lawn was fertilized today. I didn t receive a call first and the temp is near 100 degrees with no rain forecast for 2 weeks. I called to discuss this and was answered by the owner. He spent the entire conversation interrupting me and even said the he was deeply offended in my lack of trust of him . He then hung up the phone. This man is clearly more interested in making $60 on a fertilizer treatment than what your lawn looks like in the long run. 0/10 would not recommend
Have been a customer for about a year and no issues until this morning. Although like some of the other reviews my lawn never looked great, but I chalked that up to the TN heat. I received an email confirmation as well as a voicemail regarding this mornings appointment. The voicemail clearly stated that the technician would be doing core/seeding ($180) and lime service and soil conditioner ($56). Imagine my shock when the invoice left on my door was for double that amount. I spoke with someone who was adamant thats why she left me a voicemail. Well, the voicemail that I have clearly states two services and not the additional four that I was also charged for - a grand of $500. Needless to say, I cancelled all future services. I dont know just a thought maybe in the future ask for the customer to call you back and speak directly with them regarding the expected charges - at least then I would have had the opportunity to cancel some due to the overall cost. Its beyond me how this can be ok to assume that without direct contact its ok to bill me $500. 10/13/2022 - Update to the Lawn Drs response - my point is that if all these services were due then the voicemail for me should have clearly indicated such. And furthermore, in the year that I have used Lawn Dr not once did I have an invoice for more than $200. Common sense as well as a good business practice would have been to speak with me and let me know that the cost of all scheduled services was going to be $500. Personally, I dont think that happened because you knew that I wouldnt have agreed to everything so youd rather be unethical and dishonest and lead me to believe that only two services were to be done instead all that were going to done. Oh and by the way its questionable that the four additional services were even done as the only two that show on my doorbell video are the aeration and the seeding.
BEWARE of this company. They do not do work as guaranteed in their contract. After spending over 1000.00 this year for weed control , power seeding, various other treatments they recommended the yard looks so much worse than before they started. On 2 different occasions the tech drove up, came to the door to hang a bill then left, Zero work was done. Even calling the company explaining that he was on camera did not phase them one way or the other. Save your money and your lawn and stay away from them.
At our first service this company wanted to charge me for a service not provided. When I questioned the owner about the charge he stated I was not a good fit for his business. Stay away!!!

Read the other negative reviews where they have burned other peoples lawns as well. Purchased a new home and no one has been treating the lawn except for them since I took ownership. I noticed a large area was totally burned and saw lawn fertilizer granules. The lawn doctor tech came out tipped over fertilizer didn t clean it up and burn the grass. When I told them about it they denied it and Kaylyn said I must ve done it. Why would I hire them and then fertilize my own yard. I am a busy woman and do not have time for that. I was told the owners would call. Never received a phone call. Their employees are lazy and all they do is ask to add more services such as mosquito control or mole control it s always some angle to make more money ...they are a rip off artist. Do not trust them with your lawn. All I asked for them was to clean up the mess and re-sod the area they burned and we would have been fine. But they are dishonest and do not assume responsibility for mistakes made by their employees.

Its been 1 treatment and I see improvement. I came home and noticed the white flowers thats actually weeds were dead compared to another company we had used in another state and never saw progress. So Im excited to see how things progress but I will say something if its not right.
They over fertilize your lawn for profit. Tall fescue does not need to be fertilized in the warmer temperatures. The main cause of Brown Patch fungus is excessive Nitrogen applied late in Spring or early in Summer. Research the proper timing of fertilizing Tall Fescue, and they violate the obvious timing. Fungus appears in your lawn, then they sell you a fungicide treatment. The best time to apply Nitrogen to your fescue lawn is Fall and Winter seasons. A very low analysis of Nitrogen can be applied in late Spring if temperatures are low and rain is abundant. Over fertilization leads to Brown Patch if the temperature and humidity is excessively high and/or drought conditions, as in our region. This is true with most lawn care companies that have high overhead and payroll expenses. Another concern is I have seen them apply herbicide on lawns with with wind gust as high as 20MPH. This is a violation of the label. Watch YouTube videos to learn how to service your own lawn. With a small investment for a good broadcast spreader and a backpack sprayer, you can maintain your own lawn for much less. Its not rocket science, just research and practice. I do my own lawn now and it looks as good as any Lawn Care Company. And, no Brown Patch.

No more mosquitos!! My yard was a complete mosquito pit. You could barely stand outside for a minute without getting bit 3-4 times. We had an event coming up where we were going to have a ton of folks outside. I called Lawn Doctor and had them come spray the day before the event. We were outside the whole time and to my knowledge no one got bit! Not even once! It was incredible! Just like that, the mosquitoes were gone. I really appreciated their prompt and professional service. And Brad was great to work with. We will definitely be using them again!

I decided to take on Lawn Doctor for my yard and pre-paid a full year of weed control, fertilization, and seeding. The result were not what I expected. Lawn Doctor uses a one size fits all weed application product and rapidly applies it to your lawn with a high-speed tractor system. They will race around your lawn trying to apply their solution as fast as possible and get to the next client. There is no attention to detail or follow-up evaluations regarding areas that are still showing heavy weed activity. Areas near walls, fences, corners, walkways, or slopes are often missed or not a target for the herbicide they use. I called on multiple occasions to express discontent with the results I was seeing and every single time I was told the same thing: It takes two years to control a lawn for weeds. One representative even said I was setting her up for failure, after calling with concerns. Never once did a representative come out, meet with me, and walk me through my lawn to inspect for problem areas. Every service visit was brief and hands-off, simply leaving a note on my door, even after multiple calls expressing concern. For the money I paid, my lawn is not much better off. Fertilization, Core-aeration, and over-seeding had the biggest impact, but even that was done in a haphazard fashion, missing some areas and showing very little attention to detail. My recommendation is skip Lawn Doctor unless you have an easily accessible, self-contained lawn that will not require much planning or manual treatment, because you wont get it with Lawn Doctor.

After spending hundreds of dollars on weed control and seeding we noticed a lot of dead spots that literally grew in size over night. We didn t know what to do. So after searching and pricing local yard companies we decided to go with this company and so very thankful we did! Not only are the prices fair the work is great. We still have some time to go to have the yard we really want but the work they have done so far is amazing! My grass is growing back and starting to look beautiful again! There is a reason why their name is Lawn Doctor and I highly recommend that you call them if you want a beautiful lawn,. From the 1st service I saw a huge difference in our lawn. We had a substantial amount of wild violets and other weeds that a (not to be named) lawn service company could not do anything about after 3 years of servicing our lawn. Now that its winter, we still have green grass while everyone around us are seeing their lawns go dormant and brown up.

I was surprised at last delay in application due to what I see in neighborhood. I realize we ve had a very wet spring which brought a fair amount of weeds and crabgrass , I hope this is not a continuing problem . I had a very good grass comeback in Fall into spring with the power seeding I just don t want this wasted with the weed issue .

Since moving here 3 years ago, I spent two years with another company trying to get my yard in shape. Results were minimal at best. Lawn Doctor inspected my lawn and recommended a total renovation. I was skeptical but accepted their proposal.The first step was to perform a total kill of all vegetation in the yard. A short time later they power seeded the yard. Today, I have a beautiful lawn. I was also informed that next year I will see even better results. I highly recommend Lawn Doctor to those who want to enjoy a beautiful lawn.

At my first house (a new build), Lawn Doctor was great. The yard looked amazing, and they were responsive. At my husband s house, however, Lawn Doctor has failed us. I m normally not a Karen, but they blocked me on Facebook for asking what type of grass seed they used, so here s my review: They had to kill everything. Then, they power-seeded the front and back. Our water bill was over $400 because we installed a sprinkler system (which also cost us a lot of money) to ensure the grass would grow. There s two different types of grass seeds in the front lawn so it looks funny. There s been a brown spot in the middle of the yard for a few months now, but I ve not seen Lawn Doctor around. Despite those things, the front and side lawn looks pretty good. I don t care to bother with their customer service though, and here s why. When signing the power seed contract, we were told that if any areas were very thin or not growing, they would come back out and fill those areas in. Whenever my husband came home from work (at 6pm), he would blow the leaves off of the lawn. During the period we were waiting for the grass to grow, we took the dogs to potty across the street (our HOA has pet stations set up in the neighborhood). I called in about our back yard not growing well, and they mentioned that there was pet damage and leaves everywhere so that s why the grass didn t grow. I let them know that obviously when the guy gets here there are going to be leaves, but also funnily enough it s near our house where the grass isn t growing, not by the trees. I also told them on the phone that our dogs didn t use the back yard for quite some time. After some back and forth, they came out and threw seeds on the surface of our yard which did absolutely nothing. After complaining again, they said, We cannot power seed again or it will kill your current lawn, and we will not seed your yard until the fall and you ll have to pay for it. Hence, me asking on Facebook what grass seed they use, and them proceeding to block me because of my simple question. They did not live up to their contract, our back yard is still a mud pit, and now they want to charge me another $2000 to fix a problem they made. I would ve rather had my back yard be all weeds again if it meant not having to slide through mud every time I go out back. I still have them hoping they ll fix at least the brown patch up front, but have been actively previewing other lawn care companies.
If there was a way to attach a photo here I would show how satisfied I am with the service and results for my lawn. It took some time but my yard looks absolutely amazing. I have had other services in the past with nowhere near the results I get from Lawn Doctor. I dont want to sound like a commercial but you cant go wrong with these folks.

I have had a great experience so far in my first year. The price is fair and i saw results very quickly. The true test of any customer based service is adversity. We had a misunderstanding about what i wanted and Lawn Doctor made it right- immediately with no back and forth. Their techs are incredibly polite and when i ask questions they are knowledgeable and dont act like im wasting their time. This will be a long relationship i feel certain. Follow up: I was right it has been a couple years now. My lawn has filled in and is truly the greenest and prettiest lawn of my neighborhood. Keep up the 5 star effort!

I went out to talk about weeds In my yard. I was told didn t have chemical to kill particular weed. He said would get next time in July, so I tried to clarify if they had to order chemical or if they did not have on truck. I asked if next time in area could put on my grass. Did not seem thrilled. I just don t want to wait til July.

I m grateful for them taking the time to call me about that. They brought my yard from weeds and onions to a beautiful plush yard over the past 8 years. This is my first experience with Lawn Doctor of Clarksville. We have had two treatments thus far. Both visits were professional, customer focused, and expedient. Our yard has grass that thrives in hot weather, so when early spring yards are coming to life, ours is still dormant. Our treatments are geared to weed out the unwanted growth and strengthen our dormant grass where it will thrive later in the season. We are pleased.

They offer services, but do not pressure you. They provide a great service and send you a bill. They provide you with advice, but if you say no, they do not hound you and try and talk you into a service. They do not call you, email, you, try to convince you during a current service to do another service. BUT they are very helpful when you ask questions or need advice. I know when I sign up for a service, they are not going to add 5 more and bill me. I think they are a little higher than others, but it is worth it to know what you are getting.

They burned my brand new sod by applying fertilizer to wet grass and then blamed it on a fungus. The lady on the phone said they use granular and couldnt have burned it. Go figure that logic.. she then tried to sell me a fungus application. Beware of this business. Just my opinion. Im watering every day and the grass is now coming back. Everyone knows you dont apply fertilizer to wet grass. That morning they applied 3 different type of product the grass was soaking wet.

I have used their service for almost 2 years. I still have weeds. This year I had aeration and seeding. Not all spots grew sprouts so I called them to have them come out and do a touch up - they tell me sure on my next service which is DECEMBER. I ask them who waters their lawn in December? So I paid for the service and did not get what I paid for. Finally fed up with their service and cancelled. I d rather treat the weeds and do my own grass seed. Don t waste your time or money - especially on grass seed.

Was with them for over 3 years, they made 3 major problems and I was done, 1st after being told to call ahead they failed to let me know they was coming and when I came home found that they had spread fertilizer on my lawn with my dog in the backyard. 2ed had them calling ahead after that and gave them another chance. they did not even go into my backyard and lay-down lime and fertilizer (they did call ahead this time). I called and the Tec and reported that the gate was locked(was not), but was nice enough to charge me for the entire job. when I called them out on it they said they would be back to finish the job. Again a no show and they said was because I had not called them back. They was nice enough to still charge me for my full lot but only ever did 1/3 of it. Hated to see them go with having them for so long, but I had felt a couple times that the yard was not being done and took me getting a camera up to prove it.

I spend hundreds of dollars every year with Lawn Doctor. The lawn looks good from May until late July but by August it is weedy and burnt out. I water it very well, but that does not change the result. I don t see a value for my money. Sorry to be so negative, but thats how I see it.

I receive compliments from neighbors, the postman, neighborhood walkers, the UPS & FedEx guys, etc. Brad and Michaels attention to care and detail and answering my questions has been great. We have used Lawn Doctor for about nine years and when we started our lawn was a pasture with weeds and bare spots. Today it looks like a new carpet has been laid. I actually enjoy mowing it and seeing the end result of a nice looking yard. Andrew Winters is our current technician.

I have used Lawn Doctor s service for my lawn the past several years and am very satisfied with everything. My lawn is always greener than my neighbors and is healthy. I like the way that they always leave a flyer on my door explaining what services were done and the results I should expect. I also receive a confirming e-mail as well. They are not the least expensive service, but I believe they are the best having had experiences with other companies.

I used Lawn Doctor and my neighbor used Tru-Green this past summer. I noticed quite a difference in our yards. My neighbor is in the army and while he was away, I mowed his yard. I noticed weeds still growing in their yard even after the yard had been serviced. On the other hand, most of the weeds in my yard were pretty much gone after Lawn Doctor had serviced ours.
Everyone at lawn doctor is so amazingly kind. No matter how many questions or concerns either the technicians or the awesome customer service personal are always helping you with a smile. We have used them for several years now and have been told by many people how our yard looks. I would recommend them for any and all of your yards needs. You will not be disappointed.
These guys are the best! 1) When first looking into getting a lawn service, they sent a rep to my house to discuss needs specific to my lawn. I had spoken with another national franchise previously who looked at my house on Google Earth then quoted a price with a very pushy sales approach. Lawn Doctors down to earth and friendly no pressure approach made me disregard their competition immediately. 2) The staff at Lawn Doctor was candid and realistic about what I could expect in the first year of service. They didnt promise the moon. And, their assessment and prediction was on the conservative side. I wasnt expecting my lawn to look this good after only one season. 3) I asked a number of times if I should use their more expensive and more aggressive power seeding service. The rep came to my house to re-evaluate my lawn and stated he believed I should go with their cheaper over seeding option. He believed that would still get the results I was looking for. Imagine, a company that talked me out of spending more money than necessary... Turns out he was right. Our lawn looks fantastic, and my wife compliments it daily. Its the kind of grass you just want to go roll in. I cant wait to see what it looks like next year with Lawn Doctors help. And all of this after Ive tried to tame my lawn on my own over the last several years. I would recommend Lawn Doctor to anyone.

For the sake of comparison, we started with a different, but well known lawn care company. It was a disaster, but Lawn Doctor of Clarksville has everything back on track.
