Brandon Sackett of Landscape East & West designed us the perfect courtyard garden! We wanted a garden that was easy to maintain where we could relax and dine, play with our grandkids, grow some veggies, and that could accommodate our dog. Brandon was an absolute dream to work with and we couldnt be happier with his design! Mac the project manager and Cristobal the work lead and his entire crew were positively stellar professional, kind, and receptive to all our questions, comments, and ideas. The project went so smoothly and on-time! We love our garden! Kudos and heartfelt thanks!!

We had a fantastic experience with landscape East and West. They did a great job from start to finish, but what really impressed me was their follow up at the end of their work, Anything that we didnt think was perfect they altered right away so that everything was exactly how we liked it. After a year we had a little bit of swelling on our gate and they came, looked at it, and scheduled follow up to get it fixed right away. I was so impressed with the quality of their work, the professionalism of their team, the timeline that they followed, and then their follow-up even after the project was finished. So far everything still looks fantastic or even better now that the plants have had time to establish. We are hoping to do more work on the other half of our backyard at some point and plan to use them again!

I had a contract with this company last spring to get my sprinkler system working. They sent the same person four times who messed it up each time. It took months to get the correct sprinkler heads. Customer service was both rude and ineffective.

All these reviews are fake as you can see in the picture they dont finish there job.

Landscape East and West did my landscaping in my backyard 6 years ago which included a water feature and lighting. It was time to do a service call including checking the timing of the lights coming on and off. The original tech who came out couldn t address it but Bjorn Nordquist quickly followed up and together, worked to find a solution for the issue.

We undertook our biggest home remodel ever last summer, basically a studs out redo of our entire yard for our new (to us) home. The yard had been landscaped years before, but had been left to languish so it all needed to be bulldozed and redone. We cannot say enough good things about Landscape East & West, in particular Lee Glasscock and the crew that worked on our project. We were not the biggest job for them, but they always treated us like we were their #1 customer and were with us every step of the way with excellent suggestions, solving issues / changes that inevitably come up in a project. We absolutely LOVE our yard, patios and deck. Lee and our PMs were great to work with, and their entire team is committed to quality and getting the job done right and well the first time. We asked Tony and the crew to put together a new design plan for our front and back yards. First, Tony put together a great plan that was in-line with our requests. Then, the crew moved in and created exactly what we asked them to do. Job was on-time and on-budget. Tonys creative vision and a keen eye for detail gave us a great outcome.

David Been at Landscape East and West is the BEST! He is the guy to have handle your irrigation needs at Landscape East & West. He does it all, from backflow testing, to winterizing and turn on in the spring, to diagnosing and repairing issues with the system. And the best part is how pleasant, professional, and easy he is to work with! He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions and made sure it was all working great! Kudo s to David for being such a credit to his industry!

We had a RV pad built at our home. Communication with Jamie and Lee was great and Reese and Val did a great job putting it all together. They were friendly and helpful even while working in some pretty mucky weather.

First thing they asked was if I would be willing to spend at least $15,000. After I told them probably not, they said they would have someone from their small project unit contact me. The small project unit contacted me and said they were too full and to check back with them in 6-8 weeks if I was still interested. Understand they are probably busy, but this experience was poor.

No respect for your property. They will do anything to hurry through a job. Look elsewhere for landscaping services.

We decided to install a sprinkler system and since we have had Landscape East and West complete other projects for which we were very pleased, I contacted Lee. He came over, we walked around the yard, discussed what my ideas were, he added his thoughts and I decided to add a few other projects. We now have a wonderful watering system, a yard that has been revived with thatching and munching, a parking strip that now has lovely pavers and a much needed hose bib at the back of the garden. As always the work was thorough, and Spencer the project manager was easy to work with as was Lee who always has an eye on the progress and is easily in contact. We were very happy with the end result. Also, each evening as the crew was leaving they cleaned everything up, tools stowed, hard surfaces cleaned off, and everything put away for the next days work. We are very happy.

Ryan evaluated our old landscape lighting system, gave us a bid, did the work in short order and did the work well. As usual, we are highly pleased with Landscape East & West. After the lighting work, concrete contractor damaged irrigation. Steve came out himself to help, and then Bernie came to check out why the system didnt work correctly. He is very capable, figured out the issues and fixed them and made additional suggestions. I decided to have him update a drip zone based on his work today.

Bernie Jacuinde came back to f/u on revising one of the drip zones in our yard. He did a great job earlier on fixing problems created by our concrete contractor, and I was again impressed with his expertise and hard work. He came a little late in the day but stayed until he finished. His work was a vast improvement over the system installed by the previous homeowners landscape service. When we lived on the west side of town, we often had David, who was also great. Now, I hope we will have Bernie whenever there is a problem.

We have them take care of our yard since 2015 and always top service.

It was such a pleasure working with Landscape East & West. They were super attentive to our needs and kept us up to date on the project. Bryan and his team are awesome and went above and beyond to meet our needs for our space!!! Well done!

David has kept our irrigation system running well for a number of years. He is communicative, responsive, on time, hardworking, a good teacher, and very knowledgeable. Its been a pleasure having him working on our behalf.

Just had our spring start up and back flow test for our irrigation system. Simply set up with good notification and they were here when they specified. The whole system that they installed is easy to operate, and the rain sensor really makes sure that the yard stays in good shape all summer.

Called them last week. No response. Called today...been assigned to.....no..thank you.

Experienced and Flawless. I cant say enough about how awesome it was to work with such an amazing company. They took the time to sit with us and go over many different options that could work for our backyard. We initially wanted a concrete jungle thinking it would be the easiest to maintain and take care of with having littles. Then the idea of doing half pavers and half fake grass would give depth and warmth to our backyard and a nice cushy play area for the kiddos. From ideation to implementation to the finished product the work was top notch, the crew was unbelievably reliable and fast. They did a wonderful job on our backyard. Worked with Samuel, Jose, Jamie, and Lee. Felt well-taken care of, and they did a great job on a complex drainage and landscaping project. When it rains now my basement is bone dry and there are no puddles in my backyard. Plus, everything looks beautiful. Highly recommended!

I called East & West after reading online reviews for landscape design and build of our yard, deck, fence, drainage, etc end of May. The earliest they could come out was Mid July which was understandable for a high demand company. Rick Reaume came out for a site visit in mid July, took measurements and photos and told me hed get back to me in a week with design ideas. Its been over a month and Ive not heard back from him. We will not be hiring this company!

Was billed 1.25 hours for time spent driving around looking for a part, and then 1 hour to install said part that should take 15 minutes to fully replace. When the technician was done it still leaked.

We have used Landscape East and West for almost all of the large yard projects we cant handle ourselves. Yesterday David Bean came over and spent the day bringing our beloved front yard bubblers back to life. They had slowly dribbled to a stop over the last 6 months. David removed all the rocks, found that the roots of a water plant had plugged up the water intake. When he finished, David had the bubblers working and looking better than they did when they were installed. Thanks! We love your work.

This was a very professional, hard working crew who finished on schedule. They were punctual, polite and kept their work area clean. They build a rock garden and gravel sitting area in our backyard and refreshed a gravel walkway. We live on the side of a hill, so they placed the rock steps and other stones beautifully. We realized we did want to spring for a few plants so they were receptive to me buying a few plants and placing them where I wanted them. They also let me move some existing plants from other areas of the garden and planted them to complete the look. Kirk was the best PM ever and had exquisite attention to detail. Mike arrived in somewhat of a downpour but after introductions he got right to work. I was thankful for his patience with me as I had a lot of questions for him on the operation of the RainBird system. He explained everything and did a very thorough job. He was polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. He will be back in a few weeks to repair the back flow system.

My experience with Landscape East and West was not good overall. There were two main issues. The first is lack of responsiveness and communication throughout the entire process. Second, while doing the work, they damaged a buried electrical cord that carries power from the house to a fountain in the backyard. I pointed this out, but after several weeks of chasing them it still wasnt addressed. I ended up just fixing it myself. On the positive side the work they actually did do seems to be OK though they didnt complete everything we originally talked about. I would not recommend using them. Definitely surprised to see all the positive feedback, seems odd. Check Yelp as the feedback there seems more realistic.

I use these guys on a number of different properties. They answer the phone and schedule realistically. They send out reminders, talk to you when they are there on site with solid people and send out summaries of the work they did. Their winterization includes an air pressure blow out of the system and the spring program fixes any heads that are messed up without trying to sell you stuff you dont need. All in all the best value by far in our area IMO.

Ryan Greene stopped by to quickly handle our annual back flow test, and while here was able to share a wealth of information about the irrigation system that came with our house. We were so happy to have worked with such a smart, personable, and capable technician. I highly recommend working with Kirk and Ryan!

Landscape East & West did a full redesign and implementation of our backyard and we couldnt be more pleased with the results. Russell, our designer, was great about incorporating our vision and making sure it was practically applied. The work crew, Sammy and Kenny under Seths supervision, were fast, respectful and very good about making adjustments on the fly and keeping a clean and tidy work area. Great communication, the work came in under bid (even with changes along the way) and were all committed to making sure we were satisfied and happy with the jobs results. I highly recommend this company and hope to have them back to do the front next year!

Hello Kirk David Been just left. I don t often write letters of commendation. I don t often have cause. But Dave deserves commendation and more. He arrived at the appointed time. He walked the property with me, listened carefully to the issues and problems, looked over the existing system, understood the budget constraints ($1,000 for today, parts and labor), and went to work. He was awesome. He addressed and fixed every single problem. He even figured out a way to run a line from under the building, under a sidewalk to a small bed a job four other companies said couldn t be done. He also installed a new upgraded controller and showed me how to work it. He walked the property with me again and showed me everything was working. Even in this heat he worked tirelessly and cheerfully. He is an outstanding face for your company. I hope you reward him appropriately.

My experience with Landscape East & West was nothing but positive. Bjorn was our go to person and he handled everything with finesse. Our tiny difficult front garden which was old overgrown Rhododendrons is now fresh and lovely. The crew was polite and hard working. I would certainly use their services again.

A section of my drip irrigation system was not working. Ryan Greene came out to assess it and discovered that the distance from the faucet to the inline emitters was too great and there was not enough water pressure to make them work. He showed me how to install a 2 gallon emitter on each shrub, discussed how to determine how long I should water and checked the rest of the system. Ryan also gave me suggestions for replacement shrubs and inspected the health of the shrubs that had been affected by the lack of water. I was very pleased with the information Ryan provided and the help he gave. He was the best! I would definitely recommend Landscape East and West!!!

I just want to let you all know how much I appreciated Landscape East & West and all of you that worked on our drainage and drip irrigation projects. Since we had an established landscape I was worried that we would not find a contractor to take this on. Having it all done and done so well is a huge relief. Having the water line break was such a nasty surprise for all of us, probably to be expected for such an old house. We appreciated how fast your were able to get it replaced, and that thanks to Seth we had water that night. All of the plants have recovered well, and I look forward to seeing everything come into growth this spring. Right now it is pouring with rain and our window wells are as dry as can be expected. No flooding! Specifically I would like to thank Alex, for always being on an even keel and taking care of all our anxieties as they occurred, calmly and quickly. Thanks to Seth for taking care of all the little peculiarities of this job, the finished product is something to be proud of. My wife and I contracted Landscape East and West to landscape our backyard, which was pretty much untouched since our house was built. They moved our fence back six feet, leveled the ground, added soil, added grass to the yard, and installed a planter box with gardening soil. And all within 2 days! The best part is, we happened to be out of town while they were at work. They finished the work without any issues and made our backyard look exactly how we wanted it to look. They even gave us a wedding present (since they knew we were away on our honeymoon). Excellent and affordable services. I cant say enough good things about Landscape East & West!

We are extremely well-pleased with the landscape work done by Landscape East & West. Alex came to talk with us about our ideas, and he carefully worked with us to prepare a plan for the work. The crew of workers led by Martin were very nice people, and they did the work with the greatest of skill and care. Our plan was for them to remove a lot of excess soil and prepare the yard for us to plant grass. They executed the plan with just as we had hoped, and it looks great! I highly recommend them. We are very, very happy with their work.

We were frustrated because our sprinkling system was leaking at one end. We had checked the tubing and that was not the problem. We paid another landscaping company to come out and fix it but the problem was too complicated for them and they still charged us money! When I called Landscape East and West, the person on the phone asked quality questions, and was able to relate to what I describing as the problem. A person was sent to our home. He took very little time and diagnosed the problem, corrected it with the needed parts and was on his way in little time. We are so grateful for Landscape E&Ws expertise and professionalism. Thanks. A 3-year nightmare was fixed in 30-45 minutes!!!

This is the second time that I have had the pleasure of working with Landscape East and West. The first was in Sunriver, Or., nearly 12 years ago when the hardscaping was designed and installed at our home. The work was done beautifully with cheerful efficiency. So, when the yard in our new home in Lake Oswego was in desperate need of renovation, I contacted Landscape E & W to explore my ideas with them. My first contact was will Lee Glasscock who not only confirmed that my ideas were possible, but continued to be one of my go-to guys as the project became a reality. As it turned out Lee was one of the workers on the Sunriver project. My model for this space was based on the chateaux gardens in France. Pam Kill helped me to design our space and after some changes of the initial drawings were made, the work began. Jamie Swygard, the project manager and Heberth, Fidel, and Thomas (for the first two days) began the process of converting a terrifically uninteresting backyard into something wonderful. Ten 2X2X6 stock tanks were positioned on a gravel foundation to become raised beds of just the perfect height for me. The new irrigation is an efficient water-wise drip system, the design simple and elegant. Existing plants were repositioned when the time was right. I watched the day by day progress with amazement. The men worked efficiently with great skill. They were cheerful. polite, and incredibly patient with my questions, reminders (which they didnt need) and general hovering. Even minor changes were made as the work progressed. The end of each work day found the work site and the street area tidy and clean. When the time came, Jamie introduced me to the new programing for the irrigation and took as much time as I needed to understand the system. This six day garden transformation is for me the beginning of a completely different exciting type of gardening. The choice of plant material seems endless. Unlike Sunriver were most plants become forage for the deer, my vegetable garden was at the Hollinshead Community Garden in Bend and the growing season seventy two days, I can now simply go out my back door into my beautiful garden and proceed to garden with total abandon. The delight that I have with this garden was shared with the Landscape E & W crew and that was also fun for me. I cannot recommend more highly this group of garden wizards . We had a wonderful experience with Cindy at Landscape East & West. After a thorough review of our space, she delivered a detailed plan that we were able to customize to our needs. They removed excess grass arounds beds and planters, brought in bark chips, and added drain rock. As we were working during the day and not able to be home, she would send us pictures of the progress - it was great! We plan to do more next year and will definitely call Landscape East & West again!

Alex took my hand drawn sketch and we toured other yards to pick and choose elements to incorporate and I got what I wanted for my new front yard! The water feature is perfect and the lavender plants so healthy and large. The rock and flagstone just cap off a beautiful change to my home. One final element is requiring a metal artist to create a custom screen and Alex found him for me. All thats left for me to do is fill in with the color and pots next spring - I cant wait.. Thanks Alex and crew for a job well done. I LOVE IT!!! Metal screen done by Ron Lucas of Platimum Forge and its AWESOME!! Alex found him for me with the results being just perfect and what I wanted. Now, besides the hardscaping, the eye catches the beauty of stainless and cold steel and colored glass. Even without color for the winter, it is stunning. Nothing but satisfaction with both Landscape E&W and Ron. I should charge admission. :)

A little over a year ago we noticed our neighbors had some work done by Landscape East & West and at the time we were pretty dissatisfied with the maintenance service we were using, so we decided to give them a try. They took great care of our property for about a year and then we decided to completely re-landscape the front and side of the property. Jamie came out and met with us a few times and we talked about what we wanted to do. He gave us lots of options and once we decided how we wanted to proceed, he walked down the block with me and I showed him some landscaping at another neighbors house that I really liked. We talked about why I liked it and he took photos and made notes. Then their designer came up with a fabulous plan within our budget. Once we had the plan, we reviewed it extensively and had plenty of time to ask questions. I never felt rushed or unsure of what to expect. Once the work was scheduled, we all walked through the plan with the team lead who was supervising the work crew. He was just as thorough and clear about what to expect. The communication was excellent. I received regular emails with updates throughout the project. The crew got amazing amounts of work done every day they were here. They cleaned up everyday. If any questions came up that we had not discussed, they contacted me so I could make a decision. They were just over-all AMAZING to work with! We have had numerous contractors do work for us and Ive never been more satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the folks at Landscape East & West. The new plants, retaining wall, new fence and new front steps look fabulous! We will continue to have them do regular maintenance and when we are ready to re-landscape the back yard, we will definitely hire them again. Cant recommend them enough!

I put in a large boxed garden a few years ago and Landscape EW converted my sprinkler system to water each box. The system has been improved over the years by Dave Bean and each year when a head breaks Dave comes and fixes it and usually something else that make things work better. I really like Dave and his work is excellent. Before Landscape EW I was having to go to a new sprinkler company every few years, but now Landscape just takes care of everything without any hassle. Dave has performed our backflow testing for several years. He has also been very helpful in troubleshooting and adjusting our sprinkler system when we werent sure exactly what the problem was. We trust Daves work and his recommendations for our system. He is honest, dependable, and great to work with. At our recommendation he has peformed work for my mother-in-law and I can confidently recommend him to anyone.

David Been has been our go to guy for several years. He knows our yard, sprinkler system and has been very helpful in all aspects of our landscape. I so appreciate someone who knows his own knowledge of problems and willingness to help us find someone who can answer questions we may have with a plant problem.
