Our lawn is looking significantly better now that Jose and his team have started working on it. We had lots of dead patches and weeds, and a huge area (where there was a tree previously) with no growth which we thought wed have to sod. Over just a few months, its really turned around and Im surprised we dont even have to sod that area. What I really appreciate with Green Roots is that we get an email accompanying the service which details how much we should water/whether to skip a mowing after a specific treatment that week this is really helpful because were new homeowners and dont know what to do with our yard to keep it healthy. I spoke to Jose before transferring our lawn care from another company to his because I wanted to make sure we were hiring a company that had someone we could actually reach out to for questions (with the other company, I just couldnt get a hold of anyone to answer questions I had about our lawn/what services they did and what that did for our yard). Jose was helpful with answering my questions and provided informative advice, he wasnt pushy didnt try to sell us on things we didnt need (which I really appreciated) and gave us honest advice on when the best time would be to make certain lawn improvements.

Last year our lawn had some bare patches after the particularly hot and dry summer. After they came to do the fall reseeding, I was concerned it may not have been enough to fill in some of the larger spots. I asked what type of seed mix was used so I could add more seeds myself later if needed. Jose immediately responded and came back the same day to add additional seeds to those areas. We switched 2-3 years ago after probably 15 years with a national firm. The lawn has gone through an interesting transition. At first, there were one or two more broadleaf weeds as expected since they don t use Roundup. The team has been vigilant in looking at potential problems like grubs etc, and dealing with those, reseeding bare patches, etc. The lawn has a healthier look, but the amazing thing is the change in our flower beds. We had no idea how much the harsh weed killers were affecting our beds. The flowers and shrubs are very happy. The green roots you see will not just be on the grassy areas. The whole property will look better.
