Chad is very responsive and up to date for sure on current lawn issues. Always available for a consult/guidance. Great team. They are flexible with their programs so I can avoid blanket use of chemicals. I keep re-upping with this company because they know what they are doing, have that flexibility and are good at customer service!
Purelawn…simply the best lawncare service in the area. I have a bluegrass lawn. Every summer (August timeframe) over the past 5 years, I have had an area in my front lawn that dies off. Initially, it would come back every spring. My previous lawncare company cited fungus as the primary root cause, a traditional problem with bluegrass. They said the only solution other than replacing the bluegrass with a new grass blend is to spray a fungicide in the affected area and expect the fungus to recur yearly in the August timeframe due to temperature and moisture conditions. The issue has gotten progressively worse to the point that the lawn did not recover this year. I changed to Purelawn at the end of the 2022 growing season but did not solicit their input until this year. Matt came out and had grass and soil samples analyzed at Ohio State, he consulted with an expert at Green Velvet Sod Farm and determined two potential root causes, soil PH and hydrophobic soil caused by the tree roots in the front yard consuming all the moisture in the soil. Watering did not resolve the issue due to the severity of the condition. Water would just run off the extremely hardened soil instead of being absorbed. While there was some fungus present, it was not the primary cause. His recommendation was to apply additive to lower the soil PH, apply a wetting agent to the affected area, and plant a blend of grass seed that is more resilient to fungus. After applying Aquaphix and the wetting agent, he slice-seeded the area with a Green Velvet grass blend, the result is a beautiful lawn that has completely recovered. The wetting agent was so effective, I am having it applied to the entire yard every year. He also indicated increasing my mowing height to 3 inches would help the lawn resist fungus infestation in the summer months. The new protocol is to apply wetting agent twice a year and monitor soil PH to determine whether to continue the Aquaphix application or just proceed with the wetting agent. The bottom line is that Purelawn thoroughly analyzed the issue I had and solved the problem at minimal expense to me. I have never had any lawn company (I have dealt with six different companies over the past 40 years) spend that much time and effort on any yard I owned. Purelawn is indeed the best lawncare company in the area.
Our Lawn Technician, Chad Melton is excellent. He spent a considerable amount of time aerating our yard and overseeding the back. He was super careful around the beds and was extremely thorough. He has our highest recommendation!!!

Absolutely horrible people the short little fat dude thinks he knows everything and is so rude, who's ever is running this place is running it into the dirt. 1 day after the treatment this is what my yard look like absolutely disgusting. Sounds like your displacing the issue onto some one else
I'm still new to Purelawn, but I was very impressed when Chad first came to look at my lawn. He gave me great advice and was very realistic with us about what needed to be done and when, and provided options. And Alex has done a nice job with our first few treatments. He avoided some spots with new growth to make ensure it wouldn't inhibit growth. Highly recommend!
Just started our services and so far so great! They answered all of my questions before starting our program and communication has been amazing since. Chad calls before each service and is very respectful of our property (we have a driveway gate we keep close for our dog). Website is also super easy to request additional services and pay for it before or after. Love the sign after spray as well. Excited for our organic lawn journey! See how my review has my name up on top, I want you to know its me I want the credit i dont hide behide fake names. Did you have to bribe people to get all these good reviews. Did you call the employers of any that wrote bad reviews to get them fired or just mine. Congratulations what ever you said to heartless turf got me fired. All because I shared my experiences I had with purelawn. Be careful who you choose to care for your lawn you never really know who they are or what they will do. For instance giving you bags of fertilizer with dead mice in it to use on your lawn They might be asking there employees to commit felonies by getting into clients mail boxs to cover up mistakes they did. They might tell you 2 weeks before your suppose to come back for the season that you wont be coming back knowing your expecting your 5th child to be born in a month instead of just telling you at the end of that season to give you time to plan ahead. If all that isnt bad enough they could call your employer and say anything to them to get you fired for writing a unfavorable review. They also might hire a lawyer to threaten you to take the review down

Organic lawn care. Chad has been great taking care of our yard for us.
Great service today on my lawn service, PureLawn. The notifying of the day begins helps with preparing my lawn, picking up stuff in yard and unlocking the gate. Marking the yard is a plus as well. We walk our dogs alot and some yards dont have thier lawns marked after a spray is done. This could be bad for dogs.

Matt Zawadzki serviced our property yesterday, April 9th. We had a good conversation relative to an invasive species that requires an extensive irradiation. No this is not science fiction, sometimes you need to take a few steps back to move forward. I appreciated the detail provided by Matt. This challenge is only a small percentage of the total property and PureLawn can eliminate and repair this portion. I look forward to the estimate so we can schedule next steps and timing. Chad or another Purelawn person always calls and/or texts the day before they fertilize our lawn. I prefer Purelawn because it s organic fertilizer with spot treatment of weeds, which I feel is safer for our pets. The service is always quick and they let you know what they applied, how much they applied and the weather conditions when applied. Purelawn has been servicing our lawn for about 5 years now and we always get compliments on how nice it looks

Our tech Chad Melton always does a great job. He always calls a day ahead to let us know our treatment will be done the next day. If we have any breakthrough weeds, Chad is always happy to come out between treatments and do a spot treatment. I ve noticed a great improvement in our yard since we started using Purelawn a year ago.

Chad does a great job at keeping my lawn looking its best. He is sure to secure our gates so the dogs dont get out, which I really appreciate. Looking forward to continuing this service next year.
They don t really do much other than general weed control of obvious weeds like dandelions. If there are creeping weeds, they don t respond unless you call them to come out and take care of it between scheduled treatments. There s really no attempt at inspecting your lawn and taking care of anything that s wrong. One time I had fungal infection of grass and all they said was not to water the lawn in the evening. Didn t offer to fix or treat the problem. Had to do it myself.
PureLawn saved my lawn from grub invasion a few years back. I was amazed at their Knowledge of the situation I was in....the grubs had literally destroyed my lawn. With the PureLawn treatment within 6 weeks, my lawn was prospering again. There is no other lawn service comparable. I now have a new home....& with the anticipation of spring, I will continue to trust & use PureLawn. A+ rating in my book!
Purelawn is the first lawn service Ive ever hired. I really do think my lawn looks better and they helped me to get grass started in areas where I removed pavers. They aerated and seeded which helped a lot! This company communicates well and returns calls, which I appreciate. Im going to continue this service.

Purelawn has been treating our yard for the past few years, and they have done an excellent job. About four years ago, we had an invasion of carpenter ants in one corner of our basement. I called them and next day they came out and treated the area outside where the ants were coming in. It took care of the problem, and we havent seen one carpenter ant since. They did a super job getting rid of them. I highly recommend Purelawn because they are very dependable, professional, and our yard has always looked good since having their service. We have been very happy. We hadnt used a lawn care company for several years because we didnt want to expose our family (including our dog) to the chemicals. Our yard looked terrible and it was a lot of work to keep the weeds down. When we moved to a new neighborhood, we did a lot of research to find a more natural and safer approach. We found PureLawn and they have been great. Professional, on-time, great communication and a smart approach to having a beautiful lawn.
Purelawn does a great job with their organic lawn care products. They come regularly as scheduled and when there was a problem with our account (credit card expired), they were friendly and helpful about that too. Our lawn looks quite healthy with their service.
I have used Purelawn the past couple of years and my lawn has NEVER looked better. They seeded a few times when our dog killed some grass and they responded when I noticed a few weeds. They are easy to reach and quick to respond.
