We have been working with Chris Gum and his team for almost 20 yrs and they continue to do great things for us and our customers. I had a small landscaping project that involved replacing some dead boxwoods along my front walk. The crew arrived on time and were very neat. I applaud Upscale for a job well done.
Contracted Upscale to assist with our backyard pool hardscapes and design. Chris, the owner, took the lead on all of this and was a pleasure to work with. Chris was right on the spot with his estimate and we ended up coming in right at what he projected. Our project was fairly large and incorporated a number of different materials, from pavers, to boulders, to lights and retaining walls. This project went according to plan. The crew that worked on our project was everything we could hope for and showed so much attention to detail, that we referred Upscale to two other friends who were also having pools installed. They were prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to hire Upscale again, as the workmanship the crew and owner demonstrated was top notch. I had the opportunity to met Ryan Miknius through Shane King and set up an appointment to come out to my home and go over some ideas for some landscaping to be done. I must say both Shane and Ryan were very respectful and helpful. Ryan even made me some drawings of an idea I could do with the landscaping and it was amazing so amazing I have been showing others what he came up with. Because of both Ryan Miknius and Shane King I will certainly be hiring them for my landscaping.

Upscale Lawncare came in and and re-did all my landscaping and removed 5 trees and stumps. They were always on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
The crew did a good job,planting trees, putting and maintaining the rock garden, edging, and replacing mulch. Looks good.
We have been customers for five years but yesterday their pros cut down our 3-year-old and 5-year-old our pollinator garden beds and when they realized their mistake, left their mess and drove off. Weve been trying to get a response either phone, email, text, or now social media for over 24 hours and its crickets from them. Strongly recommend against them.

We went to Upscale to get a cubic yard of topsoil. We paid and had to wait over 40 minutes to get loaded. Had to go in and get the manager just to get the soil and he halfway knew how to use the loader. WORST LANDSCAPE SALE IN THE CITY!!!
I am a property manager and this year is our first year using them. Alex is very professional and takes his time and our property has much improved. My residents have been saying how it looks much better from last year and one told me it looks the best in his 4 years here. I highly recommend for your own home or business.

Upscale lawn care is the best in the business. Their owner Chris Gum is a very nice owner and hard-working man who values his employees and his customers and providing that upscale look to everything he does. Chris also goes out of his way to take care of people in a pinch when they need something done with long hair or tree work or hardscaping also the mulch a lot has really good pricing and top notch equipment I would recommend him for anything that you guys are thinking about doing to your lawn or flower beds snow removal etc
This was our second season using Upscale Lawncare and I couldnt be happier. We are very please with their service and attention to detail. They are quick to respond to our needs. Being an Arboretum, we want our campus looking well kept and Upscale does a great job. They also do a great job with snow and ice treatments for our campus. We would recommend their services to anyone.
Upscale personnel are very professional. Always on time. Keep you updated on progress. Tom and Jerry were real easy to communicate with on a daily basis. Kevin and Chris (the owner) were involved in meetings suggestions for our 3 centers. Tom went out of his way to manage our properties like they were the only projects he had. I have been very pleased with their performance.
