Not very happy we was scheduled for a treatment they showed up he did the front looked at our cameras in the back yard and he didnt do the back. I paid in full for the summer. When I called the office they said they would have someone go and finish the job its been three days now. And no word but if I wouldnt have cameras we would have never known they didnt omplete the treatment.

They were quite expensive and didnt do the entire yard as discussed for the estimate. I have a 1/2 acre piece that needs to have weed control, and they didnt take care of it at all. When I called, they were dishonest about why. After many complaints to headquarters, they did the service twice. I had a major weed problem as a result. Also, said some of the issues were sprinkler related and wouldnt respray the problem areas. I do sprinkler repair and maintenance, so that was not true at all. I will never use them again.

they said that they were going to show up in a certain day but needed my dog put away so i hung around the house all day. They never showed up and when i called the next day they wanted to push me out until later in the afternoon. they are definitely not there for the customer!

They signed me up for double the amount of services than what I asked for. It didnt show more services in the app. They would only refund me a portion of my money back. Do not go on autopay until your services have been in place for a full month, and youre sure what you signed up for.

I have used true green for a few years now and have been impressed by their service. Their tech Brandon was great! Thanks for making my lawn look great!

6/16/23 Back too a one star. As I told the trugreen agent when she called me about my 1star rating. I would update if pleased. Still cannot get me scheduled correctly after 3:30. Today told my a local supervisor they cant make such schedules happen..it is what it is meaning tech shows up on their time. I am done I cant keep chasing these guys because of their inadequate scheduling. Most likely will cancel if needs cannot be met. Please call me TruGreen too discuss.. 5/21/23 updated star ranking from the service a few weeks ago. TruGreen does listen and care what is said and written. You called, asked questions, and I agreed. Raised my star from a 1 too a 3. Still had some issues on the scheduled date, but your office jumped to right on it and in the end your service tech came out as scheduled. Will see how the next service day goes. Thank you. My yard is coming around and looking really good . Very poor customer service! Tech doesnt care about noted customer needs. Broken promises. TruGreen can read the notes on my account to understand. Promise the world but delivered the worst service...

Highly recommend!!

I had TruGreen spray my lawn because the weeds had gotten more than I could handle. The lady was here and gone so fast; I wondered how she could have sprayed the whole yard. Later, I saw that crack crass and several dandelions werent killed, but I didnt know I had to call within two weeks to report it for them to come and respray without being charged. Also, they charged me for Grub Control. I didnt ask for that. Id only asked for weed control. With my fixed income, I cant afford them.

I loved everything about TruGreen, friendly, helpful, fast, lawn looks great.

We have had the service for two seasons now and are pleased with the progress made in our lawn health. My only complaint at this point is that the notice of the next service comes too late for me to prepare for that visit. There have been times the lawn should have been mowed before treatment but there was no time.

These guys are awesome. They stand behind their products and the effectiveness of them. I would highly recommend them.

You said you would get me a heads up at least a half hour not text until he was there.

The first treatment for weeds did pretty well. They came back at no cost to treat a few spots that were missed. Im happy with the service.

Tru Green never knocks. We have an 8 month old puppy who is in and out all day, and they never come to the door to make sure it s all right to go in the backyard. They think the property is theirs to go wherever they please whenever. They spray their toxins in the back without giving any warning for us to clean up the plastic dog things that can absorb those toxins so they can t be washed out. I ve had to replace a whole bunch of stuff once already and may have to do so again today. They don t always leave a receipt either, to know what they ve done. Today, when the guy didn t knock and I saw him in the backyard and told him he needed to knock, he tried to tell me that it was perfectly cool for him to not knock. He talked down to me, said he d been here a million times and it s never been a problem before, etc. This is at least the third or forth time I ve had to get all over these people for not knocking or checking with me before going in my yard, and I ve never seen this guy before. I m not twelve and I did not appreciate being talked to like I was. He said he checked for a dog, but we were literally out with the dog less than 30 seconds before, so there s no way that was honest either. They are so unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone. ETA: a family member just reminded me that when we first signed up to Tru Green, we were told they would always knock because of our dog, and they used to. Now, they never do, and they even lie about it. One receipt they left claimed they knocked and no one answered, which was a lie as we were literally sitting within a few feet of the door when they came that day. Another time they claimed they didn t want to wake anyone as it was too early to knock at NOON! They are liars and a terrible service.

I ve had this service for many years. They come in time. Professional and pleasant employees. Caleb is a wonderful employee. Always professional and helpful. You are lucky to have him work for you. I am always glad to see him to do this work. Positive

Caleb was very personable and professional. He explained what he was going to be applying to the lawn and asked if I had questions. He was fast and efficient.

Very very disappointed in this company, we had called and asked a few questions about some dog spots in our yard, in the end the employee started getting aggressive and just hung up on us. They have no professional skills in customer service.

We love the service, our lawn and trees are really thriving and among the best around.

Called three weeks ago to get some weeds sprayed. Was told someone would contact me. Here it is three weeks later and I never heard back from them.

Signed up and only wanted the front yard sprayed for weeds. 1st application done with a note left on my door stating the employee could not access the backyard due to our dogs. I called and stated I only asked for the front yard to be sprayed. Saw my bill and it showed $40.89 due. I called and stated again I only needed the from Lt yard sprayed for weeds. The employee stated they would resize my yard and adjust the bill. I didn t need grub control included. I then called back a few days later and the employee stated it would be $20 for the first application then $20 for the second and then $40.89 for the next 3 applications. I received a confirmation number for this conversation. Today June 17 I was charged $61.33 from my bank account. I called today and told them I wanted to cancel my service because they have failed to fix my account and are automatically charging my bank account. I was under the impression that I could pay the bill through the app and not be automatically charged. I am beyond frustrated. I don t know why I was charged $ 61.33 when the first application was only supposed to be $20. I would not recommend TruGreen because they failed to follow my service request to just spray for weeds and the three charges they made to my checking account. I have not received the refunds yet as they say it takes 3-5 days.

My Dog was out on a leash and I was unable to bring it into the house at time of service so the lawn was half done. I called True Green about the issue and they sent someone out to redo the service. Great Service!

My dad used their service for years.. they would forget a section behind a fence often. Not sure why he continued. We moved him into a care facility in February.. I called to cancel, was told he prepaid thru the service in March. Told them no more seri after that. Received multiple mailings asking use to sign up for another year, never responded. Now is May, received a bill for $116 for services done this month. Called.. they said I never canceled???? Canceled what???

My weeds did not die. Thru signed me up for things I did not ask for and then sent me a $500 bill.

I would not recommend TruGreen to anyone. I signed up for 6 applications for weed control. Almost every day I received a phone call from TruGreen wanting to sell me something else. I canceled the service at the end of 2020 which was the 6th application and was sprayed over light snow was on the ground. Spring of 2021 comes around and TruGreen performs another application. I paid the bill out of good faith, but then called to cancel for the 2nd time. TruGreen showed up again and perfomed another application. So after the 4th call into TruGreen and an eMail I did not feel like I should have to keep paying for the service that was supposed to be terminated. I quite paying and owed 2 months of around $200.00.. We are now in October 2021! Finally today, I was able to speak with someone who removed the balance due. Although my grass looked a lot better since having the services.. The hassle was ridiculous!

Hired them last spring/summer. The guy they would send out was not dependable. I cant comment about other service locations, but he would sometimes not show up for appointments. Our yard usually looked mediocre. We had lots of weeds. We called to have him come out and spray for weeds, but as mentioned he usually wouldnt come. We wont be hiring them again.

2nd problem with this company . There Crooks and Liars. Supposed to be charged $30 in March of 2021 and got charged a week ago $301.79. Took a week to get my money back .

Cant say enough about the TruGreen team. Always professional and friendly. They always call ahead of scheduled service so I know when they are coming if I have any questions. They do what they say and say what they do. Thank you TruGreen.

Cant even get an acute quote, they have changed the quote 3 times in a day for the same services. Called them back after the first quote and they said they didnt measure right and raised it 100 dollars. Called back again and tried to talk to the guy who gave me the original quote and said I talked to my supervisor and raised the bid another 100. They arent even trustworthy with their quote how can we trust them with doing the job.

I AM SO CLOSE TO CANCELLING SERVICES ALL TOGETHER AND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE! MY account is so messed up I have had nothing but problems the entire experience and I HAVE ONLY HAD ONE APPLICATION! If this issue isnt resolved this week I am cancelling services and going with a different company! Look at my account I literally was told 2 days ago I was getting my 2nd mosquito and my 1st was on 5/28 now today is my reservice for the lawn guess what the guy just called blaming it on thunderstorms and isnt going to show up WHEN ON 5/28 - 1 hr after I received all 3 applications it rained for a good 2 hrs so the first service was PROBABLY RUINED BASED ON WHAT THE GUY JUST CALLED STATING WHY HE DIDNT WANT TO RESERVICE ME TODAY I WANT RESERVICED ON ALL 3 SERVICES I PAID FULL PRICE FOR AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED QUALITY SERVICE FOR THE PRICE PAID

Ive paid in advance for a year of shrub bed & lawn care. Theyve been applying fertilizer & weed control since May. Ive had to recall Tru- Green on at least 4 occasions for a re- spray. Im still getting new weeds & the lawn isnt filling in, in areas that are somewhat thin. My shrubs arent looking like theyre thriving. After nearly 5 months of applications my place should look like the Agusta golf course for the Masters! Tru-Green is coming out again this week to do another application. Well see what happens after this one!!!!!

WE PAID ALMOST $300 FOR FERTILIZER AND WEED CONTROL. MY BACK YARD LOOKS BURT AND IS NOT GROWING LIKE AT ALL. EVEN THOUGH WE ARE ALWAYS WATERING. AND THE WEED CONTROL DIDNT DO ANYTHING AT ALL TO MY WEEDS. MY BACK YARD LOOKED LIKE A JUNGLE. I FINALLY WENT TO HOME DEPOT AND BOUGHT MY OWN WEED CONTROL AND THE WEEDS WERE GONE IN A WEEK. WHEN THEY CALLED US AND ASKED WHAT OUR BIGGEST ISSUES WERE THAT WE WANTED THEM TO FOCUS ON, WE TOLD THEM THAT THEIR WEED CONTROL WAS NOT DOING ANYTHING AND SINCE IT WAS A GUARANTEE WE WANTED ANOTHER APPLICATION. THE LADY WHO CALLED US GAVE US A SCIENCE LESSON AS TO HOW THEIR WEED CONTROL WORKS AND THAT IF WE WENT TO ANY OTHER LAWN SERVICE WE WOULD GET THE SAME RESULTS. IF THAT WAS THE CASE WHY DID I PAY YOU $200 TO GET LESS RESULTS THEN THE $50 WEED CONTROL I CAN BY AT HOME DEPOT. I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO WITH TRUE GREEN. AND THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PEOPLE THAT APPLY THE PRODUCT OR SALE IT. THEY ARE AWESOME, IT IS A MATTER THAT WHEN WE ASKED THEM TO DO WHAT WE WERE PAYING THEM TO DO WE GOT THE RUN AROUND. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO THROUGH TRUE GREEN. DO YOU HOMEWORK AND BUY YOUR OWN STUFF AT HOME DEPOT AND LOWES. IT WILL SAVE YOU A TON OF MONEY.

Good work ethic

I have just had a really bad experience with the local Southeast Idaho crew. They obviously applied either the fertilizer or the weed killer in the wrong ratio. Large portions of my lawn actually look burnt and the entire lawn went yellow. Some sections actually are dying. Not impressed and very unhappy.

Your service people are always professional and friendly. does a good job in covering our lawn. I have not seen the greening in the lawn yet from your last visit, but I am sure it will come.

My service technician, Jerry B, was extremely helpful. He explained several issues with my trees and offered some solutions. He spent an extra 30 minutes addressing my concerns. Thanks for sending this exceptional specialist to my home!

Our yard looks fantastic, and our lawn specialist Shelby is polite and does a great job. Well worth the money.

Receive a call a day or two before servicing lawn. Specialist makes attempt to talk to you if at home. Goes over the care of the lawn, spraying any weeds he may see or if you have an item to go over. Timely and we receive compliments on how nice ouryard looks and who does the service.

I like the personal service that come with the service. For example, able to talk with a representative about concerns about my lawn. The time taken to make sure I understand how to appropriately take care of my yard.

Our lawn has never looked better! The TruGreen team is reliable and always on schedule. A few times weve had a lingering patch of weeds, and they are quick to return and take care of them. We love not having to worry about the whens, whats, and hows of weed control and fertilizing. They are professional, thorough, and a real value for the money.

My lawn looks the best that it has in the 16 years I have lived here. It has remained a deep green with very few weeds, thanks to the treatment by Tru Green. My specialist has spent time reviewing the applications with me. If weeds did appear after a treatment within a couple of weeks, he would come back and treat again without charge. A great value for the money.

Ive used True Green in the past and Ive been happy with the overall health of our yard. All of the technicians were great and they always went out of their way to answer questions. However, we cancelled our service last year due to reoccurring problems with the billing and sales department. I was contacted by a True Green representative earlier today. He informed me that I d be his only point of contact and he assured me we wouldn t experience any of the issues that we had in the past. He also informed me we wouldn t receive any unsolicited offers from the company. A few hours later, I received another (unsolicited) call from True Green and I informed them that I d already been contacted and asked him to please not call again. His response .Oh we ll call again and he hung up. Update - A month later the and they continue to call several times a week. Dont be fooled by their claim to be the biggest....ask them about customer retention. If nothing else, I hope that management reads this review so they can address their internal issues.

Appreciated him letting me know he was here, on time, and what he was going to do, before he actually did it. I have had some digging/repair work done and approx. 1/3 of yard is recovering. Am looking forward to see how this years treatments will affect the quality and look of lawn.

Much better than last year. I appreciate knowing that the TruGreen has come by when he leaves a sign in the yard. I also appreciate the personalized note they leave regarding the condition of my lawn and recommendations for watering. I also like when they tell me what fertilizer will do for my lawn or trees.
