Grass Assassins in Christiansburg

They weekly mow or blow leaves in my area. This week they were blowing leaves all over my vehicle, my neighbors, then proceed to “clean” the vehicle off by using the leaf blower. When I asked the guy doing the service to not do that to my vehicle he smiled at me and offered to do it again. I would never suggest this business to do anything but go out of business.

Rob and his team always go above and beyond! From the initial visit with Rob and his design of my landscaping (came out better than I ever imagined!!) to the crew that does our regular mowing - nothing but OUTSTANDING service! This is a dishonest business that I would avoid. I normally mow my own lawn, but will have it mown for me on occasion if I am out of town for an extended period of time. Grass Assassins would charge me $40 to mow and would generally do a good job. The last time I had them mow they arrived almost two weeks after I asked them to, and the grass was longer than it should have been. The job they did was extremely sloppy and required my to go over it with a rake after they were finished; I've attached a photo of this. I later got a bill for $95; almost 2.5x the usual rate (I live on 0.20 acres, for what it's worth). I called them to dispute the high bill and was told their workers were at my house for something like two hours because the grass was long. I finally got them to reduce the bill after multiple phone calls, including a particularly unpleasant one with the snide owner. After I resolved the bill, I had a neighbor tell me they saw them doing my entire backyard with weed-whackers. I have a fenced-in backyard with a 4-foot gate that normally requires a push mower. I always inform them this when I schedule them to come, but I assume they forgot to bring a push mower, opted to spend a huge amount of time doing a sloppy job with weed-whackers, and told the owner it took so long because my grass was too long for multiple lawn professionals to handle. Thus the high bill.

I would never suggest this company. Monday i was coming home and all i seen was a bunch of there employees standing around, when i past all i could smells was them smoking pot and then i seen them passing a bowl around So unprofessional.

This is such an amazing company!! They are always so courteous about my property and the property of my neighbors who are not customers! My yard always looks amazing and they take so much pride in their work! I couldn't imagine a better company to trust how my yard looks!! Thank you so much!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
