It was a pleasure working with Henry and his crew. Everyone was professional. Everyday the job was cleaned up and Henry would come to the site one to two times a day to make sure the job was going smoothly, and it did. The attention to detail was so nice, they didn’t cut corners and the work shows. Thanks again for a great experiences.

I can't say enough great things about Henry and his company! We were referred by my brother and it was the best referral we could have received. We are new homeowners and bought our new build home 2 years ago. Starting from complete scratch of a dirt backyard and a limited budget, Henry worked with us and completed our backyard in stages. It's been a year in process but I am so pleased with how everything turned out. He put in our planter (we're putting in the plants ourselves), concrete (aside from what the builder put in) and artificial grass. He really made our vision come to life and made suggestions that we followed to make our modest space flow better. My husband also called Henry multiple times before and during the projects with my hundreds of questions and I always felt Henry gave us honest and straight answers and never tried to upsell us or beat around the bush. Whenever he did his on site visits to consult/quote us on the next stage, he was always respectful and listened to both my husband and I. He also gave great recommendations for add ons to our yard that were budget friendly that we could do on our own. The last thing we had done was our artificial grass and I absolutely LOVE it. So do our dogs! I also love the dog bone that they cut out of the extra grass for us - so cute! Thank you Henry and your crew! You guys are the best and transformed our backyard into such a beautiful space!

We called California custom landscape because our sprinkler line broke under our concrete patio. Henry was extremely professional gave us a fair quote, and his crew opened up the concrete replace the plastic line with copper and applied pavers finishing the job. Patty and I were extremely pleased with their work and would use them again. 👍👍👍👍

My parents wanted to get our front and backyard done. After interviewing many other companies they came across California Custom Landscape Inc. The owner, Henry Gutierrez, was the only contractor who really listened to what we wanted and could see our vision. Once we decided to hire Henry he helped us come up with reasonable figures that fit within our allocated budget. However it did take a few weeks for him to start due to the fact that he was finishing up other projects he was contracted to do. Once construction got underway we met his crew of hard working men. Throughout the whole project his crews were polite, punctual, courteous, and always cleaned up after themselves when they left the job site for the day. Henry was hands on throughout the whole renovation. He came almost daily to make sure that things were on track and getting done. At one point during the project construction stopped because he had another project approaching its deadline and he needed all his men to finish it in time. But once they were done with that project it was full steam ahead. When it came to the soft landscaping, Henry had a keen eye for color, size, and layout of all the plants and rocks. From start to finish the project took a little over two months. We are beyond satisfied with the work that was done and will 100% be recommending him to any of our friends and family who are looking to get any landscaping work done.

We are extremely pleased with the complete backyard landscape remodel by California Customer Landscape. From the start, they were extremely responsive and very willing to work with us to design and build our vision for our backyard. This was a large project, including demolition of all of the old planters, trees,, plants, sod, and old patio. They installed all new stamped-concrete patios, planters, trees, plants, irrigation and accent lighting. Their work crews were prompt, worked hard, and cleaned up the site every day. They kept us informed every step of the way and worked with us on every detail. We are extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend this company for any size design/build project..

Still waiting for repairs on a small portion of a job this company did. It's been 5 months now and still getting the run around. It's frustrating to know that customer service is not one of their best practices. I'll remove the post and update once it's complete. Have pics to post if nothing is done within a few weeks! It's sad. ....

We were finally ready to completely redo our backyard so we looked up half a dozen contractors to come out and provide us an estimate. California Custom Landscape was actually the very first company we contacted but we were told someone couldn’t come out and give us an estimate for like 2 weeks. We agreed on a date and I went on and contacted the other 5 contractors, all of which came out before California Custom Landscape could. By the time Henry came out we were pretty much bummed with the thought that the remodel wasn’t going to happen. The other 5 companies we spoke with, either didn’t see eye to eye on our vision or kept trying to talk us out on what we wanted to do or quoted us some ridiculous amount. You always hear somethings are worth waiting for, and waiting for California Custom Landscape was well worth the wait. Like we did with the other 5 contractors, all we did was tell Henry a general idea of what we wanted to do, the challenges we have with our backyard, and the additions we wanted to add. Henry busted out his yellow notepad and right there drew up a rough sketch of what he was thinking. Based on the minimal information I gave him, he used his amazing creativity and experience to draw up an awesome design which included great ideas that I didn’t even think of. Unlike the other contractors who would suggest off the wall things which were nowhere near what I was looking for, Henry took the input I gave him and drew a design based on a look a feel he felt I would like and included his creative twist. My wife and I were blown away at his design and couldn’t wait to get started. The icing on the cake was Henry’s quote came in as one of the lowest but he even backed it up by itemizing it so if there was something we felt we could do or didn’t want, he would just take it off the quote. Henry apologized for the delay in coming out but explained they were very busy and couldn’t get started on our project for at least 4 weeks. But as happy was we were with the estimate process we could easily see why they’re so busy and backed up. Working with Henry and California Custom Landscapes was a breeze. Henry kept us in the loop with everything that was going on. Came out once or twice a week to give us an update or run though things with us on next steps or minor tweaks or changes. The project took about 4 weeks and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the end results. We practically live in our backyard and the makeover Henry & California Custom Landscapes did just has us back there even more. Everyone is in love with our backyard and all the thanks are for Henry and his team. If you’re considering them for your project, don’t go anywhere else. They were well worth the wait for us and did an AMAZING job! You’ll regret using anyone other than California Custom Landscapes!
