A gentleman named Scott showed up at my house this morning. We went over my issues with my lawn. He came up with a plan and explained it to me. He was very professional and helpful. Being my first application, I watched him apply the weed killer and fertilizer, seemed to do a thorough job.

I m very impressed with true green and their supervisor AJ. We had several problems with our lawn and they have continued to work to solve them. I would highly recommend them that stand behind their product

Great professional attitude and work Green grass and no weeds if you mow at heights of 4-5 it shades the roots so they dont get burnt and this shade by the taller grass is great against weeds, because weeds need sun light. I had trugreen for years until I moved to the Chicopee MA. service area, I set up change of service address and everything went well for 4mo. after that I didnt get service or they show up and hide behind the bushes and leave the sign by the road and take off. I would constantly call the office and the main off and complain and send cam shots because I have security cameras all over the place. I finally had to stop using them because I a m not paying for services I am not receiving and this company feels I should support them no matter what. Called again and they tride to make me pay a balance, I said f....k you ! And hubg up.

Two years ago our lawn look like a mess, full of bare spots and burned patches. Since using TruGreen services, it now looks like a lush green carpet! We spend many evenings enjoying our backyard after a long days work. I work as a Landscape Designer. There is nothing more satisfying than to see how much my lawn compliments my display gardens. In addition, the insect control services have made it possible to enjoy countless evenings mosquito and tick free. I would highly recommend TruGreen services!

highly unprofessional, extremely difficult to cancel, there is a whole process that you need to go through to cancel the service. Once I requested cancellation, someone from true green lawn care called me, and told me that I have to go through whole process of cancellation otherwise it cannot be canceled. He was loud and very rude. Stay away from this company

I used this service for the past 5 years and last year this lawn was brown I water when needed when I called to complain I talked with a customer service representative who had no idea what they were taking about just a bunch of word salad. All I ask for is to perform a job that I paid for.

Just started with the program so too early to comment on progress, but feel that they are addressing our concerns.

I used True Green last year. This year when I received my bill I called to discuss the price. The first and second person I spoke to said the price would be $454.18, and that the first service I received, this year, was paid with last years payment. Note this contract is automatically renewable, so if you want to cancel you must call and cancel. When I received my charge card bill there was a charge for the first treatment. The third and fourth person I spoke to, the fourth person was a supervisor, said the cost would be $513.99. This is when I found out that this is an automatic renewal contract. The supervisor was going to check in her computer and check to see why the price went up but we were disconnected. The fifth person I spoke to said sorry but cant reconnect me with the supervisor I was speaking with. The sixth person said oh the notes said they did try to call me back but left a voice message. No such message on my phone. She said because of the issues she would call to her supervisor to see if my bill could be $396.34 and would call me back. I received no call back. When I spoke to the seventh customer service person she checked with her supervisor and now the cost is $809.00. Moral of the story if you try to discuss your bill with True Green the price continues to go up. I would never use then again. I received a call from Nicole who said True Green will honor the $454.18 estimate. I told her I was already charged for one service and she adjust the bill. I agreed. Nicole was very helpful. If you can speak to Nicole, she is great.

First, I am totally against lawn care companies that polute our earth with their chemicles. We have never used chemicles in our yard because we are very bee friendly, thus I was floored to see a TruGreen lawn care truck at our house when I pulled into our driveway. The tech, sprayed our whole yard with glyphosate (Roundup), as he got the wrong address. Say goodbye to our milkweed, lupen, clover, crocus and all our other wildflowers. Have it all on camera but unfortunately no recourse.

Very poor communication with local branch. Phone calls made to local number are always redirected across the US so you can never speak directly with the office that services your lawn.

Customer Service billed me for the wrong lawn treatment in July and repeated calls to them in September to resolve the problem were fruitless. None of the customer service staff I spoke with knew anything about grass. Attempts to directly call the local Truegreen office resulted in my calls being forwarded back to customer service. Total run around with no result! Asked for a refund and they complied.

I had these people come out and spray for mosquitoes. Not only did it not work but they made it worse. I called and they came out again but it did nothing. I called again and told them to cancel and I m not paying. Next thing I know I get a notice from a collection agency. Unreal. Guess I will pay the collection agency and take them to small claims. What s wrong with some businesses. Stay far away from these jokers.

Paid upfront for services. I was told services wouldnt continue after and I wont be billed again. Wrong they continued the services and sent me bills. Trying to get them to fix it is a hassle. They said because they already performed the service I have to pay even though I never wanted the continued service. I guess if I get some chemicals and spray it on Truegreens property, I can bill them and force them to pay it.

Absolutely horrible business. Continued servicing my lawn and charging me after telling them I only want the service I paid for, then i want it to stop. I called and called and nothing was done. I disputed the charges which they said they have a manager reach out. No one ever did. The bill just went straight to collections. Now finally someone reached out and instead of giving me a direct line to them its just the basic number so reaching them is a headache. Worst customer service. They rob you and make you jump through hoops to cancel.

I am totally shocked in regards to the lack of responsiveness to a complaint made bye my business partner. I had bet on True Green to do the right thing. I guess im buying lunch because they failed miserably!

A co-worker of mine had a meticulous yard that he always took pride in. He would invite us over and everyone would comment on how great his lawn was until he used you. His lawn and yard is trashed and looks horrible and your company won t stand behind the work you did. Terrible customer service.

Friends and family had the lawn service and they burned our lawn too. they did not backup the product and their word to male it right. do not trust them go elsewhere.

As much as I really wanted to appreciate TruGreens business, I just couldnt. Contacting the company is nearly impossible. I had to call and report one of their employees who had shown up to my house, was there for 6 minutes and reported that they preformed my paid for weed removal spray and charged my account...when my camera system which covers the front and back of my house said otherwise. The employee never left the van. So they sent someone else out the next day who did in fact spray my lawn. I then tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and wanted them to preform aeration...they never showed up. When I spoke to the gentlemen who was spraying my lawn he said he would contact his company and have someone sent out right away. ..well shocker...that never happened. That was in 2020, flash forward to 2021 after telling them I wanted to cancel my account I all of a sudden received a text saying they were sending someone out tomorrow to perform lawn care. I tried calling 3 times, was placed on hold and told the hold time would be 1 to 2 hours(theres no freakin way they are that busy) and you cant cancel service through their online portal. Finally, i was able to speak to someone and cancel the account. Sorry, long winded but people should know what theyre working with here. All I wanted was a nice healthy lawn and all I got was a headache and disappointment.

So my family went to true green to see if they could help us with an overgrown area of our property, went to them starting in the winter..before the over growth started , 3 phone calls later (each caller saying we can come out and put down something to kill the overgrowth).. we ve had no one come out we agreed to their price .no one showed. If you can t do a job, say you can t do it. My family now has to deal with an overgrown backyard for another year .I went with true green because of their name. We will NEVER go with them again.

Called and complained about mosquitoes, they told me I was scheduled in a week and could not come sooner, so much for the just call if your having issues with the service. I specifically told them the Cedar Oil spray does not work use Telstar, I get notified that tech could not perform service, so I call next day and them tell me I am scheduled again in another week, so now it s 2 weeks I can t sit outside, Canceled the service, unacceptable service, the don t even read the notes, service rep even stated which product to use

I was very disappointed in the results. Paid for a year long service plus aeration through this summer. Admittedly, I had lots of weeds and crabgrass when they started. The treatments did not eliminate weeds or crabgrass. It killed some of the crabgrass but still had a lot choking out my lawn. I called a couple of times to tell them that treatment wasnt working. In places where treatment did kill the crabgrass, I was told to put down topsoil and plant new grass seed on the bare spots. A lot of money and work on my part and didnt fix the problems.

My first time using TruGreen and my last!! Customer service and the manager, Michelle, were horrible to deal with! They burned my lawn! They got my package all wrong and when I called to get it fixed, they totally didnt honor what they quoted me. Awful service!!!

I called and asked for ant control and they sold me ant control, mosquitoes and ticks and spiders etc! I paid for 5 applications, talked to 4 specialist and everyone said it kills ants but I got a call from them saying they dont kill ants! I talked to the tech he said yeah it kinda works! He sprayed nowhere I had ants!!! Come to find out I paid for everything but only received mosquito control!!! THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF AND NO ONE WHO WORKS THERE KNOWS ANYTHING!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!

7/12/2020 Please do yourself a favor and do not hire TruGreen Chicopee. The service is terrible. Every time I called for help, they would send the wrong service guy. And it happened over and over. They ripped out half of my yard and left it. I called for a weed spray and watch the person on video just walk around my yard and leave, didn t spray anything. They re terrible. And I can t say it enough DONT hire them. In fact they are so bad that I felt incline to make an account to write this review, that s how disgusted I am with them. 8/28/2020 update: It cost $200 to fix the yard myself and I now receive 2 phone calls a day from tru green ... don t hire them

Lawn service was basically OK for the 2 seasons we used it, but we decided to try with less chemicals several years ago. No hard feelings, right? Well... its been hell trying to get off their sales call list since then. If you do pick up the call, the sales people are very aggressive. I recently picked up to tell them (again) to take me off their list and was told that it would take 30 or 40 days. Gimme a break! Thats utterly disrespectful.

They came when they said they were gonna come job well done.

I have signed on to the TruGreen Basic Lawn Program. This is my second year on this program with them.. On May 1 Joshua, TruGreen lawn care specialist applied fertilizer, he was careful and did a good job. He took time to explain what he was doing and made suggestions to improve my lawn. My lawn at the start of last year was pretty pathetic, now it looks great. I live on a corner lot and have had compliments from my neighbors on how good it looks and is. I am not compensated for my comments in any way. We also have had a lot of rain in Western Mass, Im sure that helps. I do not have a water system for my lawn

Don t waste your money here! My last regularly scheduled service I noticed that the specialist was returning to his truck after a very short time at my property. I went out to speak with him and asked if he had given attention to the nutsedge that was spreading around my backyard to which he replied that he didn t treat the backyard! I asked why and responded that it doesn t say that on my account. Imagine my dismay at being told this when the service that I signed up for included my entire property. He then said that he didn t have enough product to treat it then so someone would have to come another day. I immediately called customer service and they scheduled another service specifically for the backyard, to take place two days later. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I m wondering why my back lawn is sprouting new weeds left and right, nutsedge has spread like crazy... I find the service notes from the follow up service and they didn t even treat the back lawn! I ve made multiple calls to customer service this week, have yet to receive a call from a manager, and the service scheduled for today (to apply the treatment that should have been applied those previous visits) can t be completed. The specialist was apologetic, but that does not make up for the poor management and planning at this branch of TruGreen. The customer isn t happy because you didn t apply the treatment that was paid for and you schedule service for a large yard at the end of the day, when it s likely that there won t be enough product left on the truck. I m disgusted with the company and will be taking my business elsewhere.

This is the first time Ive had a lawn company service my lawn and I chose Trugreen because of their introductory offer and their reputation as the best lawn care service. I had what looked like a lawn disease on my grass, and called in to have the technician check it out when they arrived to apply my first fertilizer application. Since I was at work my mother told me the technician said there wasnt any lawn issues, or disease, and everything looked fine. My grass is currently still dying from a white fuzzy fungus that I see in the mornings. When I called for a service visit while I *was* home, the technician took some pictures of my lawn, the now yellow areas that of grass that arent growing, and told me he would have his boss look at them and call me because he doesnt really know that much. I called and attempted to speak to a manager, but even though its a local number, its a national telephone service that answers! They told me they could have a manager get back to me within 24-48 hours. Terrible service considering the manager never even called me back after my second lawn service when the technician said they would. There are other lawn services in the area, and I highly suggest you give them a try first, because theyre local, and you can talk to someone right away if theres an issue.

They started out a good. However for the remainder of the treatments. I wanted trugreen to take care of my nutsedge they came 4 times. Never treated it there communication between the number you contact and the technicians is horrible. You cante get someone from Chicopee, ma trugreen to call . You get someone from out of state to talk to. At first they treated my whole lawn. Then at other times I caught them doing partial treatment and till me the ran out of chemicals for treating nutsedge. Some technicians were good. Most are not. You never get the same one. First year trying them out. Not happy will not use them again.

Unfortunately I am not a believer any longer. Consumers are only $$$ signs to Corporate America. I will never use Tru Green again.

Did not do as agreed, suppose to overseed in fall and did it in the beginning of Aug in a heat wave. Took many times calling to get a manager to talk to me. Finally redid seeding in Sept. and didnt notice until later that they didnt do all of my yard. Next year they renewed service and I called to cancel. Since then I have been called numerous times asking how was my service. Finally thought I had it taken care of and I get a call asking why I canceled (I had already explained this a few times). Fifteen minutes later someone else calls me asking how my service is. This company is a big corporation that doesnt know what the other hand is doing. So if you want to be hassled to upsell service via phone, e-mail, s-mail, and deal with utter incompetence, this is the company for you. Update: They are still calling me, I have told them over and over to forget my number, but they won t listen. STOP CALLING ME!!!

Very unhappy with their service and cancelled. Used them 1 season to try to save money but continually had probs with weeds and a brownish lawn. They even came and sprayed our lawn before we did the spring cleanup! I went back to my former company who uses pellet fertilizer which lasts a lot longer. Dont waste your money on TruGreen.

Pre-announced visits, the people that came over were really friendly and did the job expertly and surprisingly fast considering the extra care they took to do it. Its been a full year of treatment and Im surprised to find that this is the first time Ive ever seen the yard growing grass this well, with very few patches and absolutely NO weeds at all. Ive never seen it without weeds before. Would recommend!!

This is the worst company I have dealt with in a long time. Talk about a lack of communication and utter incompetence! From the very start when they lie and say that they re going to give you a complete lawn analysis that doesn t happen! From there they continue to try to upsell you every single day by calling you at all hours and trying to sell shrub service, mosquito service, and anything else that they can possibly think of! I read bad reviews but I wanted to experience it for myself and I seriously wish I hadn t because now I have wasted a month and after only one application and literally about 70 phone calls from them I am done and canceled 100%! I called to ask and inquire merely about the mosquito service and the next thing I know they canceled my entire service on me by accident but didn t even notify me until the following day when I figured it out when yet again someone was trying to upsell me. Then they mistakenly signed me up for mosquito service so I called to delete it and then they called me again to try and continue to sell me for mosquito service when I repeatedly told them to not call me again. And as ridiculous as this sounds within five minutes someone called me after I hung up the phone to try and sell me mosquito service yet again which was when I lost my mind and finally canceled the entire thing. Yet- wouldn t you know I still received an additional four phone calls within an hour from the very same people who clearly do not communicate or have a computer system that they look at to see that I am no longer a customer! I don t think I have ever dealt with a bigger bunch of morons than the people who work for this company. DO NOT EVEN entertain the idea! Off to Home Depot I go!

We had ordered and paid for lawn treatments 2 weeks ago, was initially told by sales the treatment would happen within 3-5 days. 7 days goes by and no call. I contacted Sales and was told it would not be for another week because of the holiday-okay..great next week. Next week comes, no phone call. I did call the automated system and was given a tentative for June 11th-3 weeks after they took our payment and left us hanging. I was able to change the date to June 7. Thursday was our schedule date , tentative for weather issues, but was confirmed. The day before we received 3 calls from the local TruGreen pushing extra treatments, I literally said no over 4 times in 2 of the calls. Waited all day no tech. Called Sales twice, and TWO messages were sent to the Tech to call with an ETA. No call, no show. We waited until 6:45 and cancelled our service. This company boasts about customer service, but apparently at their convienence. Unfortunately they seem only interested in collecting money. If you order a service, I suggest you find a different company and do not pay first. Customer service is about as good as their subsidaries.

Rude customer service. The rep was speaking over me stating they will be sending a truck at discounted rate even though i have cancelled service over 2 weeks ago due to uncontrollable crab grass. Its been awhile since i had to deal with someone that unprofessional. I am not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from but two of my neighbors have also cancelled the service due to chemical burn as well as inability to control crab grass. I have been a customer for 5 years now and during the 5 years they could not control the crab grass in my yard even with additional free of charge services. Upon speaking with a manager the service was finally cancelled - so they say and time will tell.

Do not make business with this people!!! We ve had a terrible experience. Their specialist came out one time and did not do the treatment but wrote down that he did. The grass was dry a few minutes after he left and he was only out there 3 minutes. We could tell he actually didn t do anything at all! We called the company and they assured us we would not get billed for that and recognize there was no way he could have finished the job in 3 minutes especially the job he was supposed to do for our yard. Well they keep billing for a service we didn t receive we have called several times and they keep saying we shouldn t be billed yet we keep getting billed and now they re threatening us with a collection agency. Beyond ridiculous! I wish I could give them zero stars!!!

So a rep came to my home in the summer, we negotiated 7 treatments for my lawn. on the 3rd treatment i came home to meet the service tech because i kept asking to be called so i could see them do the work (never got any calls) i arrive to a tech in his truck who had already allegedly performed the service. the ticket on my door said he arrived and serviced my property and printed a service ticket all in 7 minutes and i just happened to pull up as he was about to leave. i questioned how he pulled a hose from his truck, serviced my property on 2 sides of my house and returned all his equipment printed a ticket placed it in a bag hung it at my door in a record 7 minutes from the moment i pulled up. i gave him the benefit of the doubt and he left. i came inside and was greeted by my wife who said why did he leave? long story short, he never got out of his truck and we were never serviced. my wife watched him come out of his truck hang the ticket on the door return to his truck and never service our home. NOW PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THIS. I spoke to a manager, they told me they would credit me for the services of that day and next months services. they apologized over and over again for the incident and all I wanted in return was for them to take care of my lawn. two months later I was being invoiced/billed for the services they said they would credit me. after communicating with them for over 3 1/2 months while still receiving invoices for those services they told me that it was taken care of. By an operator by a customer service manager and by a general manager. I was reassured over and over again that this would be resolved. now theyve sent us to a collection agency in an attempt to further collect on money they were supposed to credit. in fact they did credit us for those three services yet their billing department was still trying to collect from us. over and over again on the phone they assured us not to worry. Yet they sent us to collections! what this will do to my credit score is unknown to us, we are beyond disappointed we would never recommend Trugreen ever ever again!

For having lawn service, my yard looks terrible. Weeds and crab grass everywhere. Last time they serviced my yard, they burnt my grass in many spots. Very unhappy with service. I called to complain and they told me they would send out a supervisor to inspect the situation. He never came. Long story short, I cancelled. They kept coming by after I called 3 times to cancell. Crabgrass and Weeds everywhere. Last year they were great. This year I am ready to cancel. Nothing but problems with there service and attempting to talking to a manager. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Bob Graham from Trugreen does an excellent job ! My lawn looks great. He is knowledgeable and always takes the time to let me know what he does and what I should do between his scheduled visits.

After building on a 1 acre lot it was covered with hard to kill Dallas grass and other unsightly evasive weeds. After one season of trugreen lawn treatment it looks a million times better and is close to being the envy of the neighborhood.

I love the results of the looks of my lawn after this present application. There are no nutsedge blades of grass growing anywhere on my lawn anymore. I think my service person got everyone of them and there where a lot especially on the front lawn. I did not meet my service person this time but I am impressed by the job he did. The specialist that treats our yard does a wonderful job. Our receipt is always on our door and our yard looks wonderful. I spoke with him once and he was very polite and helpful.
