Landscaping Maintenance by Moritz Welt in Chicago

Moritz and his crew redid pavers for our backyard patio. The crew was very professional and courteous! They were fantastic! They did a great job with a real attention to detail, and all for a fair price! We would definitely use them again for any landscaping, and highly recommend them!

Do Not Use This Company, They never show up on time, they do not listen, and they ruin every yard they touch. No knowledge on how to grow anything, their idea of landscape i to cut everything down and have dirt. They blow the leaves into the street instead of bagging them...which is against the law. The workers never do the job right, they stand around and smoke. all they do is blow everything out of the yard and butcher all the legacy plants. DO NOT USE THEM.

DO NOT USE THIS LANDSCAPER THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. They have repeatedly cut down legacy perennials. They just chopped off years of grown on our shrubs that provide privacy on the corner after repeatedly telling the not to cut them. And I mean repeatedly and they just cut off literally years of growth for no rime or reason. They do not listen to anything and promise the world after they ruin a legacy plant. Our huge hydrangeas will not bloom anymore because they cut off all of next years growth because they have no idea what they are doing. our front yard is a mud pit where use to be grass. and they throw grass seed in the spring and never water it and expect it to grown. the front yard of another house they service up the street is a complete mud pit...and much worse. I will provide pictures. Again. Welt is the WORST ever... do not use if you care at all.

Morris is a true problem solver. I had a persistent weed problem in my grass and couple simple advises from him reduced the weed amount by %80 in 6 weeks

Be flexible and you’ll be happy with the results. I also had Team Moritz refinish and clean up my planters. I am always happy with his team’s work on my property.

I reached out to Moritz to schedule a time for him to come by and take a look at my lawn. We set a day and a time. He and I even confirmed the day of, just a few hours prior to him coming out. Not only did he never bother to show up, he never even showed me the least bit of courtesy to let me know. Never sent a follow up. Never tried to reschedule. Never showed any bit of customer service whatsoever. Now, I fully understand if one gets busy. But ghosting a customer and never even bothering to simply give a courtesy heads up that you need to reschedule is simply rude. And if he's this way about his customers now, how will he be once work on the yard begins??

Moritz gave me very smart recommendation. Instead of doing full area resoddibg of my backyard, he advised me to do his grass recovery procedure by applying soil, peat moss and grass seeds. To my surprise after 4 weeks my backyard looks great.
