Great folks. With them a few years for core aeration. They noted they would come in April or May when I pre-scheduled and paid for service. They came as promised and did a great job!!!

Save the aggravation and hire a different company. The communication from this company is so poor. They had multiple techs come out the same week to apply fertilizer. Then I received an email that my service was cancelled. Now multiple people are calling me because apparently no one talks to each other. Seems poorly organized/managed.

Ive been using them for going on 3 years. Yes once a technician left my gate open and I have a dog. He didnt get away that time. It happens sometimes. I see an improvement in my lawn and am very pleased with Greener Living!!!!!

Have had a series of of treatments where my landscaping has been damaged, I have spoken the technicians on site, they photographed the damage, relayed to management and no follow up. I have to call in myself and then be treated terribly blow different levels of management. All the damage is 100% not their responsibility and they have every excuse and reason in the world claiming as such (reflect of the grill, it is not w fungus, we do not use pesticides that can damage trees, not overspray possible). They come out with no notice, just show up and do not live any report of service and receipt (they used to). Proceed with caution as they will just claim aliens next.

I have had Greener living lawn service for the last three years and my lawn has never looked better. The crab grass, clover and weeds have disappeared, leaving a thick beautiful lawn that I am proud of.

Great expertise in lawn care!

This is not a show up, spray your lawn and leave operation. The service person rings your doorbell, tells you why they are here and asks if there are any other problems that need to be addressed. If there are, and I have had more than a few, they discuss them with you and offer resolutions. My lawn has never looked better. You will not be sorry that you hired them.

Always share a report with me on the condition of my lawn. Describe in detail what service they performed on the day of their visit. Suggest any other service which I may need. Responsive to any questions I may have.

I tried a few others for my lawn care finally went with Greener Living two years ago. Greener Living convinced me with their quality service and honesty, they are responsive and provide detail explanations rather than sales pitching.

I decided to try them due to not having the time to maintain my lawn like I used to. The first season I saw improvements, the second season was even better and the clover issue was just about gone, and by the third season not only was the clover gone, dog path gone, dandelions gone my lawn was thick and plush like it used to be. Greener Living service techs are very polite, professional, and show up and do as they say. However, the guy in the billing department is very rude and far from professional. After a couple months of service I noticed I was being charged more for each service than I was being told. They offer a discount if you prepay for treatment but then charge you a different amount when they come out. I mentioned all the over charges to the billing department and they refunded me the difference and apologized for the mistake, I understand mistakes happen so I didn t think much about it. Looking over my account online one day, I noticed they again over charged me. So, I called again and the same guy apologized and this time he credited my online account instead of refunding my credit card since the amount wasn t a lot When I was due for my next prepaid treatment, it happened to be the same tech that sold me the prepay package prior. I confirmed with him that this treatment was prepaid for and he said no there will be a charge, but didn t understand why. He remembered me and taking payment for it. He apologized for not knowing why I was being charged again and told me to call billing department before he started. So I called and I asked why I kept getting charged more than I am being told by the tech for treatments? The guy said the techs don t do the billing so he doesn t know . Well then, why are they telling me the prices, giving discounts, and collecting pre payment?!? I decided to stop service due to the fact I felt greener livings billing department was a mess and didn t feel like having to call in every time they charged my credit card wrong, which is a shame because my lawn was starting to look better. I asked to cancel service and am told I don t see what is the problem we credited you already the over payment . I informed him I felt the billing was a mess and that I was only charged correctly two times, and since the techs that give the pricing doesn t know the correct prices I no longer wanted their services and would like the credit for over payment on my account refunded to my credit card. I was then told ok and then he hung up on me. Since then they deleted my online account and never refunded my credit card. If you do go with this company just make sure you don t put a credit card for autopay and you keep an eye on what they tell you and what they charge you, also try to avoid calling billing department at all cost because the guy there is far from professional and very rude.

I have been very pleased with Greener Living. If I notice weeds or another problem they respond quickly to resolve the problem. The techs are friendly and ask if there is anything else I needed them to check out. Thank you for your service in making my lawn better.

Clean

Full 2021 service did little to nothing to control the weeds so I cancelled my service at the end of the season. Spring 2022 they showed up to do some treatment while I was at work and billed me. I called to reiterate that I had no interest in continuing their services and was told the bill would be voided. Weeks later I received a second bill for the same appointment. Again I called and was assured I did not owe anything and they would take care of the glitch. One month later and I just received a third notice for this bill!!!

I use to go to Tru Green for my lawn and decided to stop 2 years ago and try a new company, Greener Living. Best Choice, they actually do care about your lawn and trees. My lawn and I truly recommend Greener Living. Brian, the owner, knows his job well and it shows.

Tried them for one summer. Lawn was not as green n as last year watched the technician spray. Obviously very rushed. Missed many spots. Running back and forth.

This business in unreliable and untrustworthy. They fertilized our neighbor s lawn instead of ours, not once, not twice but three times. Each instance my neighbor called and complained to them but they did not remedy the situation. 2nd time she told me and I called and complained but they again fertilized my neighbor s lawn a third time. When I called again they tried blaming google map for taking them to wrong location but our homes are clearly marked with our addresses. That s not an excuse for their incompetence. They refused to give me credit as I purchased the full years plan instead they offered me credit on future service but there is no way I can stay with them. Buyer be aware!

I hired them on a one time aeration in fall of 2021. Never solicited for their business after that. Customer rep calls saying I owe them money for an aeration done on 11/29/2022 . I hired a different landscaping company to complete a fall clean up and aeration on 11/11/2022 so this service was never solicited and definitely not needed. I was told that if you ever hire them for a ONE time service they automatically preform that service every year whether solicited or not! What a scam, considering the rep stated they aerated my entire lawn when the company that I hired only aerated my front and side yard due to my dogs, shows that their rep saw my lawn already had the plugs still showing from the service I actually hired on 11/11 and just stuck his little flag in my yard and charged me for this service.

Greener Living eradicated our lawn of grubs and helped the lawn thicken up with aeration and weed control. Reasonable prices and excellent results.

We switched to Greener Living in an effort to support small business. Their service and product are mediocre. Their response to our requests for correction of their service is not timely nor professional. I would not recommend this service.

A good service and nice people

After seeing our neighbors yard improvement we decided to give Greener Living a try and we are very happy we did! The lawn has never been greener and healthy. All weeds except the creeping Charlie are gone! We hope by this time next year even the creeping Charlie will be history! Greener Living have been feeding and treating for weeks for a couple years. They are flexible, and adjust to our schedules when we do things like over-seeding and so forth. Lawn looks great!

I did not receive a call the day before my last service. Grass is very dry. Ive been watering it 3 times a week.

This is the first year we used them. Last Fall they aeriated and over seeded and our lawn is looking good. We will use them again next year.

I use them for two of my trees for blight. The old service I use to use was better. My tree looks terrible. A representative from Greener Living inspected the tree and agreed how it looked and the shape it was in and agreed it didnt look very good. but he said it was because of the unusual heat and weather we were having. I asked isnt that why we paid you to inject a protective injection into it. My old service used three spraying s not injections into the ground. Greener Living used one injection. Not good. We prepaid the service for these injection. Im sorry I did that because they do not intend to reimburse us.

When I purchased this home, the front lawn was full of creeping Charlie and dandelions. This is only the second year with Greener Living Lawn Care and the difference is amazing. Mine was the only lawn in the cul-de-sac that wasnt yellow and purple this year!

This is my first year using Greener Living. With each visit the technician provides feedback and suggestions on how to improve the appearance of my lawn. The applications are applied accurately as there has not been a need to request a revisit. I will continue using this service in the future

I have used Greener Living for a couple years. My husband credits them and myself for getting our lawn in the best shape it has ever been in. However, I still find some weeds and other plants I cannot identify. We have three large dogs and after the last application we discovered our gate was left open!!! I thank the Lord they did not run away, hurt any other animals or get hit by a car!! We called to complain and they were not at all concerned about their carelessness. I am not sure we can continue to use their services as a result.

Worst experience I ever had with lawn service. Killed my grass by over processing it with weed killer. and then had the nerve to charge me for it. Dont use this company they are the worst. Total waste of money.

Charged to treat Grub worms but the worms ate up my lawn after the treatment. Now they want to charge me to restore the lawn.

We are delighted with the results of the slit seeding process. My grass is coming in fuller and healthier than I have EVER had. ( I have lived here over 40 years!) I did opt for the additional fertilizer at time of slitting. Brian paid attention to the areas that needed special attention and gave good follow up instructions. Of course, we also have had fantastic spring grass growing weather. So that undoubtedly helped a bit : )

We have used them for a couple of years now & I like that they are local. They are efficient, the technician leaves good, descriptive notes. The application prices are very fair. We like that the products used are more eco- friendly & pet friendly. Our yard has remained almost weed free since starting their service (makes the neighbors a little jealous). We are pleased overall.

Had lawn aerated. Quick and reasonably priced.

We are newer to Greener Living, but VERY impressed so far. We had slit-seeding done, and unlike countless other seeding efforts with multiple companies, we actually have significant new grass in the bare areas. We have received personal recommendations and care, rather than the spray and run cookie-cutter techniques of pretty much everyone we have used in the past. We have a lot of shade and pine needles which can be difficult to work with, but they seem to have come up with a plan for success. Its nice to have one of the prettiest lawns in the neighborhood!

Greener Living Lawn, Tree and Pest is the best balance of using nature to keep your lawn and trees healthy, yet they know when a non-organic material is necessary to combat unwanted things in your lawn and trees. Their price is fair for what you receive. They are not cheap like the national companies, but what you receive in product and results justifies the price. I have tried everyone from the national companies, to the fully organic companies. Greener Living is the perfect balance between the two ends. Additionally, the service techs are personable and responsive. They call me before they come out and address any concerns we may have. Five starts has been earned.

Grass overseed and aeration could have been better. Service otherwise has been great!

I prepaid for 6 treatments this summer starting in March 2020. All treatments are fertilizer and weed control efforts. Service was performed in late March, but the April service was never done. I had to call to inquire when it would be completed and eventually they came out in the first week in May. Its important that these treatments be performed on a timely basis as they are proactive and preventative lawn care measures and when a treatment is missed, it defeats the purpose and/or minimizes the value. When I called, I was never told how they would make up the missed treatment or that I would be credited for this error. Despite this error, so far I like the result Im seeing from the treatment. Far less weeds came up this year relative to last. Grass is looking very green and mostly healthy.

When I called Greener Living Lawn Care, I was connected to their Customer Service Department. Their service agent, Camen answered the phone and was very professional, knowledgeable and patient with me when answering all of my questions and concerns. Camen goes above and beyond with his customer service by calling me the day before to let me know that their fertilizer crew will be coming out to provide the next treatment and then follows up to make sure that I am happy with the treatment that was provided. I had a lot of dandelions and creepy charlie, but just after the first treatment, I can already see a HUGE difference in my lawn. I also purchased their mosquito treatment program and happy to report that I have been sitting outside enjoying my deck, bite free! Thank you Greener Living! I cant wait to see how great my lawn is going to look after all the service treatments are provided.

I have used 3 or 4 other lawn services. Greener living is by far the best I have used. My grass looks great. Their prices are comparable to other companies.

I am extremely thrilled with the way that my lawn has responded to your care, it is greener than it has ever been and 99% weed free. The only complaint I have is that last fall I called and asked that I be notified before each service day, as I had to send away the serviceman twice because my lawn was covered with leaves and I was preparing to mow/mulch them and I did not want to disturb the product and have to breathe it in. I was told that I would indeed be notified before each service day, but I have had two applications since then this spring, and no call. Luckily I was not getting ready to mow at those times. If not for this omission, I would have given your company the full five stars.

Having moved often, Ive used any number of lawn service companies. This is my second year with Greener Living and my lawn has never looked better. They are indeed easy to work with. Service was so good in fact that I added regular aeration service, and since that went so well, I asked them to help service/maintain one of our trees needing special attention. Can recommend GL without hesitation.

Excellent service. Tim (I think) even took the time to answer some other landscaping questions and he even made sure to go heavier over the section of the backyard where the dogs run up and down and have worn out the grass.

By far, Greener Living is the BEST service I ve ever had for my lawn. Last year was the first year I had them out. My lawn was in absolutely horrible shape until Greener Living showed up. My lawn full of weeds and dandelions has been transformed into one of the most beautiful lawns on the block. I m a corner house, so the look of my lawn is the first to be noticed on the block. This companies been fantastic. We moved to Evanston two years ago and ever since greener living has taken care of everything. Our yard was in bad shape when we bought this house. They ve done Grub/mosquito control, slit seeding, core aeration and overseeding. I don t like the idea of using much fertilizer or herbicides and while it s probably taking a little longer to see lawn improvement I m really happy with the results. They identified a fungus on our crabapple and did root injections. On several occasions I ve called competitors to validate the things they ve sold us and pricing because new homeowner - I don t know nothing. They ve got super fair pricing and are always on time and professionals. Couldn t recommend more highly.

Annoying illegal phone calls received from them in violation of the Do Not Call list. AVOID this company!

Wouldn t trust my lawn with anybody else!

This is the 3rd company that I have tried as I like to check out who has better services for the price. The initial visit was great and my lawn was inspected thoroughly. The rest of the visits were pretty basic and I have had to call a few times to correct the weed issues and fungus. The price is high however if it wasnt for price matching I would have gone with another company. I did a bit of investigation and reading and was sold on the website and videos that were on the site. My expectations: A lawn company is to ensure and help guide the homeowner on the path to a glorious lawn. Having to point out fungus in lawn and excessive weeds its silly to me. Not happy with: My lawn by far looks the worse that i have ever seen in the front of my home. The back looks gorgeous which i dont understand. The weeds were insane this year in my lawn. The company did ensure me that it was because I signed up after the weed pre emergent treatments. Yes they ensured that they will tackle the weeds as many re-treatments as I need but the grass looked dead and spotty due to all the excessive weeds that i had this year. Im glad the company killed the weeds but not not a fan of how the grass looks in the front (spotty, dead, not plush). Another time I Showed the worker that I have some mold/fungus in my lawn and was recommended to do the $100 treatment however it could take up to 3 times. Thats NUTS! The 1st treatment did nothing for me and ended up cutting out a chunk of grass and re-seeding which looks 100 times better. Just seemed like a major waste of money. Summary: Dont get me wrong, The company seems like they have great intentions however I had higher expectations and will opt for a different company next year. Im not sold for the high cost which is my personal opinion.

Great service and super easy to work with. I see improvement on weeds and clover and insect damage. Will use again. Only gave 4/5 because the aeration was not that great.

We just started with them this Spring and had a good response time when needed. Kept our lawn looking green, just need to assure weeds get sprayed around the edges of the property.

Price is great but weed control wasn t the best. I noticed weeds and called only to be asked what type of weed specifically it was. I am no weed specialist and had no idea. After that I saw more weeds but never reached out as I didn t want to be questioned. With other places you just call and they come out - no questions asked.

I had Trugreen for a really long time, and while they were helpful, unfortunately there were no results. Then along comes GREENER LIVING and BAM, if you want to know what a lawn should really look like, then that s who should go with. Not a single weed, a thick growth, and a color like no other. Grenner Living a lawn care to believe in. Two applications and I have a lawn the envy of my neighbors. It s hard to find a weed and the color of my grass is a rich green. Most of all it s organic and the friendliness with which the staff work you is phenomenal.

I take pride in having a beautifully landscaped yard and lawn. Unfortunately over the years my lawn has become infested with every type of annual and perennial weed you can think of. The violets and creeping Charlie took over major sections destroying my beautiful turf. In comes Greener living and within a few months, my lawn is looking revived, green, thick and beautiful again. Before Greener Living Lawn care, my yard was 80% weeds. Glad to say that since having them provide my lawn care, I am essentially weed free with an amazingly green looking lawn. Techs are nice, accomodating, and clearly qualified in what they do! Highly recommendable to anyone in or outside the area.

We experienced the service of Jim Cooke. Jim was great. He really takes pride in his work and cares about the job he is doing and it shows. The lawn looks great and the entire process has been extremely convenient. I will without a doubt be recommending his service to others.
