We Specialize in landscape design, lawn maintenance, hardscaping and snow removal for Chicagoans. For the past twenty one years, Patch has been offering beautiful landscape designs, maintenance, as well as, snow removal for Chicago. We offer a variety of options to help our customers design and create the landscape they envision. Aside from offering to design and install a variety of trees, shrubs, and flowers we are now offering artificial turf as well. Hardscape installation gives customers the option of adding walkways, patios, fire pits, and now MODS to their existing landscape.

I contacted Patch to help reposition a flagstone paver walkway, install an edging fence to a garden bed and add mulch to our backyard. The entire experience was uncomplicated. The goal was customer satisfaction starting from the initial consultation with Api to the work done on installation day with Daniel and Team. We were very happy with the work completed and would not hesitate to work with Patch again in the future. We're looking forward to enjoying our new backyard thanks to Patch!
My townhome association uses Patch because they have been extremely reliable over the years, but I'm rating them four stars for still using the insanely loud gas powered leaf blowers. With so many of us working from home now, we could use a reprieve from the noise pollution!
Patch is very reliable and delivers high quality service. They designed and built a solid raised front garden for my house, adding some much needed visual appeal. Their seasonal cleanups are thorough. The lawn service is neat and my yard looks great after they come through. Priced right for the level of service. I definitely recommend.
I absolutely love Patch Landscaping. They do quarterly installations for us at our city home. I get endless compliments from passerby’s and neighbors. The prices feel fair and the guys who do the seasonal removal/installation leave the property looking perfect. There is no mess or need to clean the surrounding sidewalk or steps. I don’t have any complaints. If I were to share anything at all that could be construed as negative it would be that they can sometime be slow to return emails. I only mention it because if you reach out to Patch and don’t hear back right away, just give it a few days. They always respond.
Patch has always been great to work with. They do our weekly maintenance and are there when we need them. They’ve also done some of our bigger landscaping projects and we never have any complaints
We are very happy with a hardscaping project that Patch Landscaping completed for us on August 25, 2022. We needed to have the portion of our backyard closest to the house converted into patio space with pavers matching those that had been used when the majority of the backyard was paved 11 years ago. Kristen and Apolinar were prompt and friendly as we planned out the project, and were able to schedule it for rapid completion, in comparison to other hardscaping companies that left us hanging for 4 months without a start date. Site foreman/manager Charles and his team were entirely professional: precise, punctual, and polite. They worked together quickly and nimbly, and were able to troubleshoot and address unforeseen issues on the spot, under consultation with my wife and I. For example, a wooden stair that needed replacing, but wasn't in the original estimate. Or the best way to complete edging around a porch enclosure to allow for drainage. Charles's expert transplant of a lilac tree--providing it deep watering in dry soil--prevented any sign of transplant shock, and the tree continues to thrive. The Patch team completed the project with no disruption to our daily routine, and left our property spotless, with no damage to any foliage or terrain. I highly recommend Patch Landscaping. We had Patch install new wood retaining walls around a garden bed in the easement and stone/gravel under the stoop of our home. Patch stood out with their professionalism, value and communication. Several of our neighbors have complemented the work and the team's professionalism while completing the project.
They did an amazing job preparing my front yard to be planted. I’m excited to get started. They also put in a new lawn in my back garden which looks great. Highly recommend.

They hit all the marks! Communicative, professional, quick, and high quality work. They created a patio of permeable paving, fixed the drainage issues and fixed my garden bed walls. My backyard never looked so good!
Absolutely first rate snow removal
I think of myself as a particular person with high expectations... but also someone who ranks the importance of value over price. Patch Landscaping did an EXCELLENT job with both soft and hard landscaping in our yard. Christina (the PM) was thorough and the crew was efficient, hard working, detail oriented, customer centric and kind to one another. All questions were answered. All adjustments were made. Any additional costs were unforeseeable when the original quote was produced, logical, and high value. I cant recommend this group enough! VERY satisfied.
This company SUCKS!!!! We have had injuries and pending lawsuits due to this LAZY Company. Stay away from them!!!!!!
Their communication and customer service are terrible. First, I submitted a query on their website requesting that they called me for a quote. No response for days. Then I stopped in to see if I could get a quote. Christina came out to the house the next morning and was helpful and friendly; I was encouraged. I conveyed to her that I was looking to move quickly for a fairly substantial residential landscaping design and install. A week later I heard nothing. I called the office and days later I received an email from Christina saying that she apologized for the delayed response and that a quote would be coming in a few hours. Days later, I had received nothing. I emailed, no response. I emailed again, no response. I emailed again, no response. I called, no response. Almost three weeks later, I received a quote with a couple lines for costs/installation and some pretty hefty prices relative to other firms. There was no detail on the quote to understand the costs, no design, nothing. Three weeks for this? No thank you. I don t understand how this place is still in business. I called several other firms in the area and they were helpful, timely and communicated clearly.
These guys must not be hurting for business. After an email last winter regarding snow removal to two inquiries this past month on landscaping and no reply, I will not seek them out again. A very large project missed.

A couple days before Christmas we picked up a gorgeous tree at Patch. The staff could not have been more helpful! They had run out of tree stands and without even asking, they called the hardware store down the street to make sure they still had some in stock. Excellent customer service!
The crew at Patch has been doing a fantastic job at our home for many years now. The weekly lawn care and fall cleanup service are very professionally completed on time, and the crew always ensures that they clean up afterwards and leave the yard looking great. Were a corner lot so theres plenty of lawn to care for. Patch prices are very competitive and the office staff is very responsive and helpful. We are very happy with our Patch lawn care service!
