I recommend Chitown. They seem professional with their services. I ve scheduled them a couple of times for our rental apartments and haven t been disappointed. They are responsive and have fair prices. They offer many services. We will continue to use them.

Always reliable and always do a great job in a timely manner. They are my go-to for any fixes on my house!

We have engaged with Chi Town for snow and ice removal. They literally never come out unless we call and ask them to come out, several hours passed snow and ice. They are always making excuses.

They did my bathroom overhaul and it came out exactly as I wanted it - new wallpaper, wainscoting, and the removal of tile. Will definitely use them for the office project!

Ive had a leak in my shower floor for a while. Chitown came out , diagnosed it, gave a solution and are now in the process of rebuilding the tile floor with a new liner that was missing from before and what caused the leak.

The TL:DR version: Would I recommend Chitown Property Services to a friend? An emphatic Hell No! Full Story: Chitown Property Services came across my instagram feed while I looking for contractors in early December. I filled out an estimate request form on December 16th and they were quick to respond. Their estimator, Josh, suggested the December 22nd at 11am. On December 22, 90 minutes before I expect to meet with Josh, I receive an email stating that Josh wasnt feeling well and that he needed to reschedule. I arranged to meet after the New Year holiday on January 7th. The day before, I had not received a confirmation email or call and did not want to go through another last minute cancellation so I reached out to confirm. Fortunately, they responded quickly that we were all set for the next day. On January 7th, Josh arrives and he spends a good amount of time in the space. I explain that we just closed on the property and would like to renovate before moving in. I let him know that I was looking for an estimate on all of the potential work so I could talk it over with my partner. I also explained that once we receive the full estimate we would be inclined to move quickly to get the project started since we were eager to move in. He said that would be no problem and that he would have an estimate to me by the end of the following week. On January 14th at 5pm, I had still not received the estimate from Josh. I decided to email him and the CPS team to let them know I was waiting on the estimate. I did not receive a response. On January 18th, I called the office since I had still not received a response to my email. I explained to the person who picked up the phone that I waiting on an estimate from Josh that he had promised to have to me by the previous week. The person said they would follow up with Josh. At 5:39pm on January 18th, Josh replied. He apologized for the delay because things were hectic and he was trying to catch up. He emailed a rough estimate of the cost of the project, and promised to send a formal estimate once I agreed to move forward with the project. At 6:30pm on January 18th, I responded to Josh with the approval to move forward with the project. I did not receive a response. On January 21st, I called the office to follow up on the formal estimate. No answer. On January 28th, I called the office. No answer. On January 31st, I emailed to follow up on the formal estimate. No response. On February 1st at 4:58pm I finally receive this email from Josh: Hi Chris, I m sorry I did not get the finalized estimate to you. Unfortunately, you did fall through the cracks and I do apologize for that. We have just taken on some other work and would not be able to start your project anytime soon. Due to this, it sounds like we are not a good fit for you at this time. I wish you the best of luck with everything! Josh I did not send a response. Despite my frustration and disappointment, I decided to let it go. But since Chitown Property Serves has decided to spam me for a review, heres the response I wanted to send back in February. Josh, Its hard to accept that your apology is sincere. The lack of professionalism demonstrated on your part cost me valuable time in not only getting this project started, but also delayed my ability to move in to my new home. If you had sent me the quote you promised within the timeline you yourself suggested then I would have already cut you a check towards the $30k job I originally wanted to do through CPS. Instead, I had to track you down only for you to demonstrate a lack of respect for me and my time by saying you were too busy. Your hectic schedule does not excuse the fact that you failed to deliver on the verbal and written commitment you made to me. Not to mention, you double down on that disrespect by now telling me that you have taken on other projects which only leads me to believe that those projects were deemed more important since they didn t fall through the cracks. Id wish you luck, but you wouldnt know what to do with it.

Chitown Properties has become our go to business for all our building needs. They communication quickly, are trust worthy, and provide affordable, quality work. We have had them come out for plumbing issues, snow removal, minor building repairs, and soon to be cleaning services. Wed be lost without them!

Our home project for a major bathroom renovation was completed by Chitown Property Services. The communication from the entire team-Josh, Greg and Jashubi was exceptional! You just dont find that anymore and we couldnt be more impressed. The professionalism exhibited was respectful, kind and prompt. When demo and construction was in full swing we were made aware of concerns and adjustments that needed to be made. I was very impressed with Josh and Chris professionalism as well as their work. One of the first things I noticed is that they wore little slippers over their shoes before coming into the house. To me that is a small gesture that communicates in a big way that they are courteous and thoughtful. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue with my toilet. It ultimately needed to be replaced, they were able to get it done the same day. I will use their service in the future and would recommend them to anyone I know.

I had a gate that wasn t properly anchored into the garden wall. Then the neighbor knocked it out of whack. Before my dogs could get out, I called Chitown and they came out and re-anchored the gate perfectly. They also checked all the hinges and all the mountings. I was really impressed! They did it it smoothly and quickly! I had no idea who to call. I ll make sure that I use them again!
