I’ve been looking around for a reliable, fairly priced, and professional landscaper for a while now and safe to say have found it with Matt. I was recommended to him by a friend of mine who hired him for snow removal during the winter and heard nothing but great things! Not only did he go above and beyond to make my lawn visions come true he also made recommendations on things I never would’ve thought of. I’ve hired landscapers before and they’d always leave a mess, or worse damage to my property.. Matt and his team made sure that there wasn’t a spec of garbage and were so attentive with their work. 20/10 would recommend to anyone in the Chicagoland area looking for landscaping and snow removal.

Hired this company to do snow removal for our association this year. They have truly awful and based on previous reviews and recommendations, they have been a major disappointment. They plowed our lot once our management team called them since they didn’t feel the need to plow when it snowed 8 inches at the end of January. As you can see, they expected us to step over the plowed snow. They also have not cleaned one parking space at our association this year. We have residents cleaning their own spots to park. I don’t recommend hiring them for snow removal. Have not used their lawn care services.
Matt and his crew did an outstanding job on our Paver Patio in EP. I'd been getting quotes from a handful of contractors but couldn't find anyone reliable. After a quick call, Matt was onsite and the job was completed a couple days later. We were very impressed with the quick turnaround and couldn't be happier with the work they did, which is why we hired them again to build out a retaining wall around our tree beds - which also looks great! I'd recommend Matts crew to anyone on the South Side looking to get quality work done at a reasonable price. These guys are the best!

Have used South Suburban for lawn and snow removal. They are reliable and a pleasure to work with.
David and Matt provided commercial service for our strip mall last year and this year (we signed a 2 year agreement). I was very impressed that even after the inflation, they refused to raise our monthly rates on the commercial plaza. We receive text message alerts between each service, monthly flat rate fees, and have only had to inquire one time in 2 years to ask when we were going to be serviced by their crews. They re fully staffed and have all new equipment. Very impressed and we will be signing another 2 year agreement with them at the end of March 31.
I had mulch and edging done. The job was done in a timely matter and done very well. Left the area clean and took all the extra dirt and grass from edging with them. I am very happy with this company and recommend them.

August 3rd, 2023 To whom it concerns, I am writing this to Suburban Landscaping to recognize the excellent, consistent, devoted and focused work of Hugo Delgazo. I am the contact person for your company. It is reassuring to know we can count on Hugo every Thursday. It is important and comforting to know that Hugo is on site here at Four Seasons Townhome Association in Lakes of the Four Seasons as foreman to his team. Quality characteristics that come to mind when I think of Hugo include problem-solving, dependable, professional, respectful, consistent, proactive, communicative, attentive to detail, approachable, cooperative, sincere and pleasant. Our property is challenging in terrain and other nuances that come with a 70 unit, 30 yr plus property with trees, hills, and tricky ground cover. Hugo is working closely with the association to help continue to improve the overall appearance of the property. The latest nuance is to carefully mow newly sewn grass and mowing appropriately, in accordance to growth of new grass. Altering the machinery his team uses depending on the needs of the terrain has been truly a game changer . We appreciate his efforts to have our property shine with the help of Hugo s supervision over his team. Addendum: I went out on August 4th, to run an errand and saw some extra outstanding mowing along the widely seen hill along the streets at the back of our property. My husband said, It is the best this place has looked. Multiple homeowners have complimented about how nice the property looks after all the mowing and trimming and clean up is completed. He did an amazing job on my driveway for a good price!!! He also trims my bush for me in the summer which is very helpful! That bush of my has some hard to reach spots!

We moved into our house 2 years ago and we loved the existing hardscapes which included a beautiful paver patio with seat-walls and a fireplace. As we prepared to add a hot tub we wanted to expand our patio and wanted everything to match the existing stone. Since we loved the existing work, we reached out to the previous home owners who shared that this work was done by South Suburban Landscaping and they had a great experience. I gave them a call and worked with Matt on our project. I was so impressed with every aspect of designing, planning and executing this project. Matt was great to work with and was extremely responsive throughout, especially when I requested a couple of design changes along the way. Matt and his entire team were professional, efficient and really seem to love what they do! They were in and out and completed the entire project is just a few days as promised. The quality of their work is truly amazing and they left my property in excellent condition upon completion. Totally agree with Mr. Neakerse s negative review regarding Channel Point condos. Service has been nothing more than abysmal and owner s response is filled with falsehoods. The board HAS complained as I and other owners have contacted the management company regarding the failure of snow removal. I and the board president did shoveling out drive, in front of garages, sidewalk, in back of unit while another resident shoveled out front on 31 Jan. Most recent snow was not dealt with until day after as our building, in the middle of 3, watched as buildings on east and west side were cleared a day earlier. I observed above complaintant Mr. Neakerse shoveling out garage entrances on my return home from work this week. Owner states residents expectations are different as opposed to contractual/obligations??? Would NEVER recommend this company!

Hard to get to quality and value now a days but Matt delivers on both. An entire patio done in one day, didn t think it was possible but his men got the job done!
Matt was very detail oriented when I wanted a new patio put in it didn t have an idea of what to do, he put together a plan and a design and went to work with it it may I say he did amazing if I can give him more than five stars I most definitely would
