Ryan Tree handled my tree problem in a timely manner. Madison, my tree consultant, and project manager was knowledgeable, informative, and easy to work with. She kept the project on track, kept me informed at all levels, and offered creative suggestions for the plain area that the removal of the tree left. Had someone come out and give us an estimate. We accepted the estimate and literally never heard from them again. I even contacted them again asking if we could get on the schedule. I was told I would be getting an email soon to schedule. Once again never heard anything. The estimate was given almost 3 weeks ago. So I wouldn t even bother with them. Their obviously too busy. Call River City they have my tree already removed and I just contacted them like 4 days ago.

They werent able to assist me

Used Ryan Lawn and Tree for almost 2 years and paid close to $6000 over the 2 years for lawn applications and bug/pest control services. Not only did bug/pest never really get better but the lawn applications and explanations felt like a massive game. One day I needed this next time I needed that. They would blame EVERYTHING on the weather and take no accountability. They were terrible about scheduling and always blamed their new system . We were also told we would have dedicated specialists yet some how had 11 different individuals over the 22 months.

In the past couple of years that we have worked with Ryan Lawn, they have never failed to deliver exemplary customer service. Their personnel always exceed expectations and every interaction is tailor fitted for their customer s needs. I selected Ryan Lawn & Tree when I wanted to plant 2 new trees in my yard. They had someone come out and make suggestions based on the size of my yard and soil. When they came back to plant, they did the job efficiently and I am satisfied with how they planted the trees. I also love that they gave me a Slow Release Watering Bag for each tree and a moisture meter. This will definitely help me keep my trees healthy.

I called Ryan for an estimate to cut a bunch of huge dead limbs of two trees on my wood line. Some of the limbs were very high. A guy came the next day and we and walked and pointed at all that needed done. He took photos. That day I received a written estimate with the photos. About two weeks later a crew of two came out and did a super job. All belts and harnesses. Very impressive. BTW, the lady I first talked to on the phone to request an estimate was great. She did a great sales pitch for Ryan.

I needed a tree trimmed away from neighbors. They noticed other things I needed but there was no pressure to get it. Also, the prices are reasonable.

I wouldnt know about the quality of their work because they have a minimum project size of $1,500 and wont engage in a conversation if you dont commit to that up-front. I feel like, we wont ask a single question about your project until you commit to spend at least $xxxx with us, are you ready to do that today?... is a bad way of doing business. The irony is, I had no real preconceived expectation of the cost. But Im positive I wont be using a company as incurious and hyper-focused on revenue as this one. Two stars because, who knows, their quality may be great.

Nathan always does a great job for us. Yesterday Nathan saw me cutting the grass so he came back in an hour to perform his work. When returning I noticed him clearing some weeds from our plant beds before completing the grass treatment. Nice touch. Thanks, Steve

Excellent service. They know how to control lawn weeds. My neighbors use another local guy for weed control and I notice weeds in their lawns when walking the neighborhood. The 3 neighbors that use ryan lawn and tree have truly weed free lawns.

Our yard hasnt looked better since starting our service with Ryan Lawn & Tree.

Mixed experience with these guys- but I will say, they made it right after we called the office to discuss what we were being told by the project manager. Our experience with the project manager was not great (delays on coming out to price service, cancellations, rude conversation, etc) but however, office manger knows what she is doing and set us up with an amazing new project manager. New manager was timely, completed the work and it was fantastic. 4 stars only because we had to take multiple hours out of our day to call and speak to various office people as the one who knew everything was at a conference. Definitely potential for 5 stars, I would use them again!

We have used Ryan Lawn and Tree for close to ten years now. We trust them with our lawn care and with the care of our Ash tree. They helped us choose new trees to plant in place of one that was dying. They left us with precise directions on how to care for our new trees. All of the employees that we have dealt with have been professional and kind to us and to our neighbors.

On 8-1-22 Ryan Lawn & Tree was involved with cutting down and hauling away a dead medium size tree in backyard. This group including their head person Anthony was fantastic. Very professional and cut down a branch and another dead branch at no additional cost Overall Ryan was very cost competitive and I would use again

Craig was very helpful and very responsive to all of my questions. This company was recommended to me by my cousin, who is the lead municipal arborist for the city of Lawrence, KS. He said you all do good work and I agree.

Ryan Landscaping removed bushes and trees from our yard. They are such a nice group of professionals to work with. They are knowledgeable, quick to respond, reasonably priced and do quality work. We are now working with them on some landscaping ideas.

The team at Ryan has worked on our yard getting the lawn in shape after some issues with big gaps in the turf and Ive always been satisfied. Theyve also helped at various times with trees that were sick, needed to go or whatever, I always find the pricing reasonable and the service great. A few weeks ago, Sebastian came out and did an estimate to help us figure out what we needed to do to several trees that are healthy but have some dead limbs here and there. The estimate looked good & then I said I should have asked about real yard clean up, trimming shrubs, cleaning flower beds, etc. But I asked later because the other services have just let us down the past year or two. Today Matt & Nick came out and wow. My yard & house hasnt looked this good and healthy in years. They walked through what I wanted, and asked questions to be sure they knew what I wanted. And later checked in as they got into some of the work that I had added after the estimate... they knew it would take real time & muscle to be sure I knew it would require extra time. They were great to work with.... even walked back through and helped me understand some things they left and why, etc. Also really appreciate the safety mindset and attention to detail from these guys. It shows in the work. I will definitely be enjoying the yard a lot more and will be able to keep it in great shape hopefully!

These guys dont mess around! we had a ~70 tree removed and another tree pruned and once they arrived, they introduced themselves and got to work. They did a fantastic job and were very professional. We will use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

They did a fabulous job, they were very careful with the tree s when trimming them & very courteous to me, very reasonable prices! I will never use anyone else such a great experience!

Pretty much an automated service that treats your lawn and sends fluffy emails about how great your lawn is doing and how much they enjoy working with you..... in the meantime our lawn is being destroyed by powdery mildew that Ryan has not diagnosed nor have they responded to emails requesting help with that problem. Ive applied fungicide myself for the past 2 years as a result. Probably time to find another service.

Ryan mulched my back yard and even added for free some extra mulch over the 2 Cu. yards I contracted for needed to cover my yard. 3 workers arrived to trim back one very large tree in our front yard and to remove a nuisance crabapple tree from our backyard. They all worked steadily and carefully. Ryan Lawn & Tree has been excellent. Several companies told me my shady front yard would never allow healthy green grass throughout the summer. Following Ryans recommendation, Ryan Tree and Lawn gave us a picture perfect lawn. Craig Calhoun does a great job monitoring and tending to our lawn needs. He is very thorough in his explanation of the various applications. Because of Craig we have a beautiful lawn!

It took a year or so, after I totally destroyed my yard trying to get the perfect lawn. Then I met Craig Calhoun from Ryan. Craig explained what I needed to do, we signed up and I can now say that I have a near perfect lawn, at least its the best lawn in my neighborhood. Well continue to work on perfect, were getting close. Craig is great to work with, hes like a ghost, he comes, treats my lawn, and vanishes. One Happy Customer.

It was a difficult pruning job to remove 25 tree limb wedged up high between two 75 trees and hanging precariously over our Generac Generator. When it was all done there was NOT a scratch on our Generac & all debris was removed. Always...job well done by Ryan Lawn & Tree!

This job was very difficult but handled speed and minimal damage to the yard. Jonathan and Madison were not only hard workers but just fun to be around. We have booked this company for a second tree removal next month. First class!

Just had my fall reseeding and my lawn has never looked better. I like the explicit instructions I received after the seed application.

Ryan arborist (Sebastian) was knowledgeable and helpful in determining and preparing the work proposal. Ryan employees (Jonathan & Nick) did the work - cut large broken branch back to a main limb and pruned lower branches of very large ash tree. All aspect of job handled quickly and professionally. No damage to underlying bushes and thorough cleanup. And, the job was less expensive than bid from another local reputable tree service. Very happy with job from start to finish. Recommend considering Ryan for any tree work.

Felt Sebastian and workers here to remove our tree were very pleasant to work with. The job was done in a very professional and safe way. The cleanup afterwards was very well done.The only question I have is when they come to plant the shrubs to replace the holly bushes they removed, is that when they will remove the stumps of the bushes that they just cut off level to the ground.. Also when is the right time this spring set this part of the job and will you be contacting us or do we need to contact you? Thanks again for a job well done.

Ryan Lawn & Tree crew arrived on time. Began trimming all the the Rose and other bushes. Grind out stump and visible surface roots. Remove stump debris and all trimming clippings. The Ryan crew clean up all areas after finishing for the day. They done an outstanding Job and Ill rehire Ryan Lawn & Tree again.

We were extremely satisfied with the service we received from Ryan Lawn and Tree. Sebastian Jennings was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding our tree removal and pruning plans for February. They came and did the job (front and back lawns) and left me easy to understand what I needed to do to make the summer lawn service to work most efficiently. I am watering 3x a week (as instructed), and can see the progress on my lawn - the weeds dying. It was helpful that they also sent an e-mail reviewing the service they provided and the necessary actions on my part to make it all work.

Nick and his team removed our dead bushes and trimmed the shrubs. They clean up everything and didnt leave until we were completely satisfied. Recommended with reservations -- The owner Jason is a personable guy. He offers tree and lawn services. His Tree services are competitive and he is fairly responsive when you have a tree down. He has helped us out a couple of times. Lawn care unfortunately is a whole different story. We engaged Jason to take care of our yard this summer. The service was problematic. The center of the yard is fine. He does not take care of weeds around the edges of flower beds, around the mailbox and at the back of the yard at the street (I guess because no one goes up there.) He delayed putting the chem down and the weeds, especially nutsedge got out of control. He did not take care of things we specifically requested, like spraying for bag worms and then he treated the lawn when we told him not to. And then the $49 charge for spot treating weeds --- which didnt do anything. Our real disappointment though is the response when we called to cancel the service. Basically it was okay. See you. I guess he does so well the loss of a single customer is not a big deal.
