Ian Costello has been maintaining my garden for a number of years. His work is always good and everything is left neat and tidy. I have also had tree work carried out on two separate occasions; one today infact and the tree specialists he uses are truly excellent. Everything has been lopped and maintained exactly as I wanted. I will always use Ian for the gardening and these tree specialists when I need them. Thank you Ian Peter

We happen to live next door to the owner and secretary of this company. We came home today to find that this is what Sarah Costello (secretary & wife of Ian, owner) had done to an established rambling rose on our side of the fence, in our garden. Severely hacked at it without our permission while we were out! She left branches with thorns on them in our garden, which our 6-month old puppy picked up in her mouth. They never mentioned this was an issue & could have spoken to us at any time, but chose this course instead. Other pictures are from last year. All I can say is, if you employ this company, let's hope they don't decide to treat your garden like this. Would have given 0 stars if I could have.

Ian and his crew replaced some dodgy paving/decking and a shed for me. They worked hard and did a great job - and were delightful to have around. Ian visited a couple of times beforehand to make sure we were on the same page, was willing to be flexible, offered excellent advice throughout and visited again afterwards to make sure I was happy with the work done. Can't fault anything - thanks guys!!

Ian was very professional, friendly and helpful when we asked him to come over and help us freshen up the garden. Ian recommended fencing off our stream with hazel hurdle which we were initially resistant to, but agreed and it looks fantastic! So I would recommend listening to Ian’s advice! We also had a children’s play area fitted over some Astro turf and some screening trees planted - all of which we are very happy with. The work was all tidied up nicely at the end of the day and Ian has given advice on different areas of the garden. I’m looking forward to having them back for the next stage!

Ian and his team landscaped the area adjacent to the roadway leading to our front gates. This involved removing soil , landscaping the grounds and putting down membrane, bark and plants. Looking forward to seeing the plants maturing. All done to plan without any issues. would happily use them again.

Ian and his team were professional , on time and very helpful they transformed a very overgrown corner of my garden into a lovely dry garden in less than 2 days and Ian knew all about the plants he recommended.

Unprofessional and sub-standard. 2 stars, and not 1 star only because they did lay the turf (though quite lumpy) and because I was able to get some refund. The catch here was that their manager Ian came across as a very professional, understanding and friendly person, so I preferred them over other contractors despite the price was not competitive. Yet the guys who came to do the actual work were quite a different story. Everything rushed, every corner cut, poor quality all around. The "fix" they did for the raised bed was a sheer shame. They were shockingly disrespectful. They did some damage to my garden, and didn't even apologise. Neither did Ian when I gave him my feedback. Never, ever again. UPD: 6 weeks later, after having cut and watered the lawn strictly as recommended, the lawn looks very poor: it's patchy, with some spots and stripes of almost naked soil. Also, because it's so humpy you can only cut it quite long because otherwise you will cut into the soil. UPD: Looking at my poor lawn two years after (which is now in a much worse condition than it was before the Ian's "team" re-turfed it, despite all my effort), I can't believe all those positive reviews... Maybe it's all about different subcontractors that Ian brings to the site, and others were just much luckier?
