I just used Gartman Landscaping to remove snow and ice from a parking lot for my business. They were quick to come out and finished within a couple of hours. Excellent work and communication.

Throughout the entire process, Gartmans team was courteous, professional, and proved themselves to be subject matter experts of their craft. The crew adhered to strict PPE requirements and strict security processes, coordinated the deconfliction of work with other trades, and worked well into the night to ensure minimal impact on our business operations. Further, they employed top of line equipment, to include HEPA filtration systems, safeguarding our employees, product, and sensitive automation equipment from harmful concrete dust.

The forming crew and the concrete crew did an awesome job. I explained a few of my rules and they obeyed them. The crews worked extremely hard and long hours in the hot sun.very professional crew and they cleaned up every day before they left.

After receiving many inches of heavy rain over the course of the few weeks in March and April, we noticed that the access road to the back of our property was rapidly eroding. This road is directly below our house and if it gave way would have severely damaged our home. We contacted several companies for quotes. Most were outrageously high and did not provide any real expectations for a resolution to the problem. When Silas from Gartman Landscaping and Excavation came to the house, he explain to us what he would have to do. Within a week, I had a written quote. While the quote from Gartman was not the cheapest of the quotes we received, it provided details that led us to believe it would be our best solution. After the work was started, we asked if they could do a few additional things to help correct the problem. The extra cost involved with the additional request was quite reasonable. We would highly recommend Gartman to anybody seeking to have erosion control measures performed on their property. The four gentlemen who worked on our problem were Jeremiah, Lloyd, Hayden, and Jack. All received the same five star review we are giving to Gartman. We hope to never have an issue like this again in the future, but if we do, we know who to call.

I recently got my back patio redone and these guys did an amazing job with it. I had a patio made of pavers and they removed all of them and stacked them so nicely for me to be able to reuse them and then installed a concrete patio. Once they got started on it, they had everything finished very quickly and it looks great. The pricing was the best I could have asked for as other companies didn t really even come close to what they were able to offer me to get this project done. I m very satisfied and have already recommended them to several friends.

During our terrible snow and ice storm this Winter, the Gartman team came to rescue within a few hours after one phone call. My driveway is terribly steep and with the ice and snow I couldn t move my car in/out or walk up/down safely. Basically, I couldn t leave my house at all. They salted and shoveled the day they came out and even came back the second day to reshovel and resalt to make sure that I was safe and could leave the house. They only charged me for one visit which meant they cared more about me and my wellbeing than earning more money. I loved their team and will absolutely be using them in the future for other services! I highly recommend the Gartman team!

Very Thankful to Gartman Landscaping (Silas and Dalton) for being the only company that was willing to tackle our steep driveway that had iced over from the wintry mix. We were stuck on the hill for a week waiting on the ice to melt. I called around to several companies and was told that they would have had to salt driveway before the wintry mix came in (which I had already done). Gartman quoted me a price that was very resonable and worked within my budget.

Our neighbors and we hired Silas crew to clear out some.of our wilderness at the back.of our property. It was full of vines and brambles and all KINDS of junk shrubbery, haha. We didnt want any trees removed, but wanted to clean out a large area for a future garden and a pathway to an area for an outdoor range. They cleared a walking path thru the woods, paved it with gravel and packing it, then graded and added truckloads of dirt to create an outdoor living space. They added drains and mulched.. During a recent wind storm, we were the casualty of one of our neighbors trees. As you can see from the pics, it crashed down atop our still under construction, but nearly completed, home. As bad as that was, another substantially larger tree that was still standing, was completely lifting up out of the ground every time the wind blew and was ready to topple over onto the main structure of the house. We tried, in vain, to find an excavator who would come out and remove the trees for us on a weekend. No one would help us! A friend suggested that we call Gartman Landscaping and Excavation. Much to our surprise Silas Gartman answered our call on a Sunday morning and was out on our lot in about an hour with a large excavator, two chainsaws, and a very skilled helper. We cant thank Silas enough for answering our cries for help on a Sunday morning. What an amazing young man he is! He was able, with exacting precision, to remove the fallen tree from our roof, and drop the massive teetering tree down to the ground safely between two houses, two large patios/porches, and eight newly planted 14 Green Giant trees. It was an absolutely amazing feat to behold! Silas is super skilled, has amazing attention to detail, actually cared about our personal property, charged a very fair rate, and has wonderful manners too. He even removed all of the stumps, and filled in the resulting holes with dirt for us as well. We HIGHLY recommend Gartman Landscaping and Excavation!

I had been looking for someone to come and fix this issue since November of 22. I had called a number of landscapers that were recommended to me. I got ignored by most and ghosted by one. I am happy to say, they lived up to their rave reviews. Silas was very responsive. He listened to what I needed/ wanted. He got a quote to me in a timely manner and the work was completed much sooner than I anticipated. I m very happy with the quality of their work. The front of my house looks fantastic and now, I ll sleep better knowing that my foundation will be dry. I would recommend Gartman Landscaping to anyone.

I feel compelled to pass on my opinion and endorsement of Gartman Landscaping and Excavation. Our introduction to them began when our neighbor contracted with them to excavate their back yard and construct a flagstone patio with fire pit. Our project was to include 2 separate concrete pads, a large retaining wall, and multiple hours of excavation to straighten out some severe drainage issues and provide us with a yard level enough for me to maintain. Access to the back yards was complicated so we elected to do our projects simultaneously for access of the excavation equipment as well as materials for both projects. Silas and his talented crews flawlessly executed both the projects keeping us and our neighbors informed and up to date as they progressed. Workmanship and pride in what they did was outstanding. We experienced a few areas where Silas was not happy with the outcome and we witnessed him instruct his crews to do it again until the result met his standards. Communication was outstanding and we were contacted multiple times throughout the project by Silas just to ensure we were happy and satisfied with his work. He did a great job keeping us informed of cost and the budget for our project. Silas was quick to provide estimates for in-process changes and enhancements. We recently had Gartman Landscaping and Excavation grade and sod our yard, create a drainage culvert to control water runoff, build a rock edge across our brow, create a flagstone walkway and patio on the bluff and planted 42 trees and shrubs. Silas and his team were very professional, showed up as scheduled, and completed the job as contracted all in 7 days! We are very pleased with the results. He even helped us relocate a landscape rock in an existing flowerbed and and reposition several irrigation heads affected by the grading. Over the past few years we have had other landscaping companies do work that did not turn out well. Silas was an answer to our prayers. If you have any landscaping needs, this is your guy!

Gartman did a great job on our backyard patio. It took them longer that I had hoped to get to us, but that is probably due to that fact that they do excellent work. The install was fast and the crew worked with us to adjust to our unusual backyard terrain.

Gartman landscaping and there crew did great work!

Our home is a recent new construction. We paid to have professional landscaping that we chose at the end of our build. It resulted in 5-6 dead trees/bushes, mulch with no weed barrier, and many other issues. For the price we paid, these issues should have never arose. Silas and his crew replaced dead trees/bushes, laid a weed barrier and poured river rock all while maintaining everything that was already in place. This job was bigger than we felt like we could manage so having a professional come in was our best decision. We have future jobs in mind that we will definitely be using Gartman for.

Gartman Landscaping built a retaining wall on a very steep slope and added to a decorative retaining wall. They also replaced overgrown foundation plantings, and graded, added soil and seeded my lawn. They did a beautiful job with everything and I am very happy with the results. I talked to a lot of landscapers- Silas always got back to me and followed through. I would highly recommend this company.

We had Gartman Landscaping replace the deck on the back of our house with a stamped concrete patio. Silas crew did a great job demoing and hauling away the deck. They poured, stamped, and sealed the patio and we are very happy with the results.

Silas (owner) and his whole team are extremely hard-working, courteous, on time, do impeccable work .the list goes on! They are exactly the type of company and service we all hope to find when choosing to have work done. For us, they did extensive grading with topsoil, fescue sod, planted trees and large shrubs and put stone borders around large garden areas and then lots of mulch. It s wonderful to see how much pride they all take in their work. They had a good size crew but shout out to Casey and Enrique as leads on the work on our project. We will definitely have them back for future projects and highly recommend them (and I don t do many reviews lol!)

I was considering various options for redoing our steps, but several contractors simply did not show up when they said they would. We were under a time constraint, and the Gartman group gave a bid, showed up when they said they would, and completed the job (including cleanup) with professionalism. The workers were respectful and courteous young men. For us, the result not only met an immediate need but was also value added to an old house.

Silas had me scheduled for winterizing my irrigation system but due to a lengthy previous job it was getting late and very cold out. Rather than cancel my job to the next day which meant I may risk freezing temperatures that night to my irrigation system, he worked in the dark on my system which also required a trip off the mountain to the store to get some special fittings required for my backflow preventer to do the job. Needless to say he spent almost two extra hours and money on additional parts for my job in 30 degree temps without charging me an extra dime! Thats what I call Customer Service!

Very dependable. Silas s team always shows up to get the job done. They go above and beyond. I use them monthly to maintain my yard but when my 120 pound English Mastiff passed away I called them for help because I didn t know anyone that could help. Silas and his team came right over and helped me even though it was at the end of his day and getting dark outside. They could have said no but they took the time out to help when I needed it most. Silas and his crew poured a 20 X 30 concrete pad for our RV. Attention to detail, like using a concrete pump to avoid having the concrete trucks back over our old concrete driveway is just one of several things Silas and his crew did that demonstrated their professionalism and caring for their customers. The owner of this company is definitely a man of his word and absolutely fantastic to work with! One of his employees were hauling equipment on interstate & a rock flew off & hit our windshield & busted it. With no second guessing when contacting Silas volunteered to pay to have damage fixed even though his insurance don t cover it. Definitely would use him for all your needs just because how honest and respectful he is!! His employee was also very respectful & well mannered when we talked to him too! Excellent crew!
