Worst lawn company ever! The owner needs some lessons in dealing with customers. I wondered if she figured she could be as nasty as she was because I’m a tenant - well guess what? My rent pays you and your staff so yes I am a customer but even if I wasn’t, horrible community relations! 😑 We used to have Al’s Lawn Care at our apartment building-great company and never a problem. Since these guys have taken over, every time they mow/trim they chop up vegetable plants from my garden. Today it was my cucumber and tomato plants. I heard the guy so ran out and said , “what the heck are you doing!” His answer? “We have to trim up to the garden stones (that surround my garden). So I say , “ ummmm ok what does that have to do with butchering my plants?” And that devolved into a shouting match with both of us. Fast forward an hour later and the “owner” of the company and our superintendent came knocking-told me to come outside! Not only did the inept “boss” accuse me of swearing etc and telling me I had no right to complain as their worker doesn’t know garden plants from grass/weeds (ummmm then WHY is he a “landscape professional?? 😝) and if any plant in my garden is over the rocks he has every right to chop them up. Unbelievable. I said to her, so your staff can’t think outside of the box and move a plant over an inch or two so it’s not cut? I had no idea about their “rock rule” and the “owner” was a nasty and rude woman who made ridiculous excuses for this worker and blamed me, the tenant, for his chopping of my plants. Just a horrible company and to be chastised for telling her employee to stop chopping up my garden is unreal. If I could, I’d have given 0 for a review.

I just called 30 seconds ago to find out about snow removal and lawn care for a rental property and. I was looking for an idea about pricing. This was our conversation: “Hi there I was looking at getting a quote for lawn care and snow removal for my rental property in Chatham.” “I have to see it.” “You don’t have a basic ballpark estimate?” “When you buy something do you just buy it without looking at it!?! I’m too busy! *click*

Lar-Nick has been clearing the snow at our business for years. They generally have it cleared before we open and do a great job keeping our parking lot clean and safe.
