Started cutting at 730am , unbelievable stupid, no respect for people living nearby

Cant say enough good things ! My mom was a little sceptical about getting someone to take care of the lawn after her husband ( my father) passed. Upon arrival she watched as they took care of the lawn, they were more than fine letting her watch. They have been coming back for five years now and have been nothing but courteous. Als Lawn and Garden has taken care of all of our grass and landscape needs for the past fifteen years. All requests for a variety of services have been met in a professional and timely manner. Thanks to Chris Pinsonneault for coming out last Saturday to treat vegetation that was growing out from underneath our fence line as well as putting together a preliminary plan to update the landcaping of our front garden. ***Beware of using Als Lawn and Garden as a multiple company estimate.... they have just refused even thinking about doing an extreme weeding in my backyard in Blenheim..... EVEN with my offering to pay for the estimate due to gas prices. Because they came a few years ago they were 1 0f 4 places I got an estimate from and I did not pick them at the time. So they said they would not waste their time

Since the purchase our home 6.5 yrs ago, we have used Al s services to Snowplowing during the Winter, lawn maintenance when we are away on holidays and a weed and deer program. We alway book well in advance and they have alway come through with great service.

My mom is a loyal customer; over 25 years paying top dollar for their services, there is no excuse for the horrible condition of her lawn or the half baked snow removal. At one time they did an excellent job. However for the past several years, despite repeated requests, its only getting worse. Not the way to treat your long standing customers.

First time customer, tried their advertised 13-Step spring lawn care package. They came out first visit, everything seemed ok. Then never showed again. Try to call them, no return calls. No experienced system in place. I paid them a visit. Very nice in person but they dont have their stuff together. I split the bill with my neighboors as we have a joined front yard. They actually tried saying they did show up. My neighboors home 24/7, my kids home + my front camera system during a pandemic. They get one star for refunding some money. For being a lawn care specialist in this town for as long as I can remember Als lawn care can definetly do better! F - Terrible

Positive - They did come and turn on the sprinkler system and explained the whole process very easily. The men that showed up were very respectful and helpful. Other than the wait I had due to confusion of the desk clerk, Im satisfied so far. Positive

Driver nearly caused a few accidents down Grand out front of Goodwill due to driving 80 through town. 9ZY and a 100% faded license plate. (Side note it s free to replace) speaks volumes of the Owners.

Very positive experience and good results.

Called for a quote about my lawn. Guy does not call beforehand or tell me when they are coming and randomly shows up in my backyard. Gives me a quote, I call him about it a few hours later to confirm but I do not receive any communication back at all. Since I did not hear anything back for a while, I went with someone else. Then about three weeks later they show up and do my lawn with no call or email beforehand to ask if I still want the service or to confirm anything. Terrible customer service all around and really poor communication.

I wish I could upload pictures. We have used numerous lawn care companies over the past 40 years, Als included. Our yard has never looked worse than it has this year. We water it ALL the time i. The evening due to the hot weather. If they are using weed killer or fertilizer, they certainly have missed our yard. We are embarassed at just how horrible it looks.

Set up for lawn cutting and trimming - First time, they skipped the trimming part and didnt move anything on the grass, simply cut around it. When we called, they advised that the trimmer may have been broken and they should have moved lawn items. They would make sure to do better next time. They didnt show up the next week on the cut date. It was not weather related (wasnt raining) - I called and left a message on their machine to just cancel. Judging by their history with me, I followed up with a phone call in the morning and (SURPRISE) they didnt get my message and will have to radio the guys and cancel the cut. We received a bill today for cuts that didnt happen. When my wife called the office to pay for the first cut, which was half done, the girl on the other end was laughing. What a joke these people are. FYI - Weve used Als in the past and have spent thousands there - your loss people

Used Als to complete the planting of 10 W.B. (wire-basket) Norway Spruce c/w mulch drip rings and clean up the site from the stumping of removed diseased pines. Did the job on time, at a good price, and perfectly cleaned up the site! Our Condo Corporation is very pleased - lots of + comments.

Very questionable if they do the job at the right time. Crab grass was never worse after I had challenged that they were very late in the application. They followed up by virtually killing everything in many areas. They just spread weed killer and fertilizer on back yard in a minute or less-- bound to have missed many areas.

Called to make an appointment for some basic trimming and lawn maintenance. We were scolded for not calling earlier in the year, but they would do their best to fit us in. A month went by and no one came to work on our yard. We called again to ask when they would be fitting us in exactly or should we go somewhere else for service. We were once again scolded and told that we needed to understand they were busy and would fit us in next week. Two weeks later the job was half done. We asked why they only did the trimming and no other maintenance and were told that was a different team and they would come by later. A month later the second team never came. I hear they do great work, but Ill never know. It seems like they blamed us for how busy they were instead of simply admitting they didnt have room for new customers which would have been much better for both parties.

Very professional. Excellent communication with estimator and office. Crews came when scheduled for installation of irrigation system and new sod. The job looked great when completed. Highly recommended based on our experience and the other jobs of theirs that Ive seen.
