The technician explained things to me regarding my lawn. Top Turf aerated and seeded it last year. I don t do anything but mow it. Top Turf has been taking care of the yard since the fall last year. The tech did a great job and I am pleased. I had some water proofing work done last year and the company put down the wheat straw and seeds and netting. Update: 1/21/2025 Tyquan visited yesterday to perform our termite inspection. Once again Tyquan was friendly and polite despite our noisy dogs being less than hospitable. In a few minutes, our inspection was complete and Tyquan was on his way to his next service appointment. Thanks for protecting us from the termite damage! Thank you Top Turf! Update: 10/26/2024/ This morning Colby came out to perform our pest control and termite inspection. I had the opportunity to speak with him as I needed to inform him of an issue with one of the inspection stations. Colby was especially polite and helpful and I later found new evidence of the pest control doing what its supposed to do. Thank you Colby and Top Turf! Update: 7/17/2024 Tyquan came by yesterday afternoon to once again perform our termite inspection and pest control. Despite now being in the thick of summer, weve been relatively free of bugs in the house even with it being around 3 months since the last visit. Im sure with todays application well again be bug free over the next 3 months. As always, Tyquan was very friendly and polite and I really appreciate that. Thank you Top Turf and Tyquan Bridges! This morning Tyquan Bridges came by and performed our termite inspection and pest control. When we moved into our new to us house back in July of 2023 we had a lot of bug issues. We appreciate how we rarely we see bugs around or in our house since Top Turf started doing our Pest control and we really appreciate how incredibly polite Tyquan is despite our dog barking so rudely at him. I didn t witness the application so I don t know what I could say in regards to that. My only issue was that there was an abundance of granules left on my front and side walkway. I needed to use my blower to clean them off as to prevent a slipping hazard.

10/28 - Updated again to add that they FINALLY responded to the BBB complaint. Even with the pictures they claim that they see improvement. I didnt know progressing well in the lawn industry was LESS grass when aerating and overseeding!! Of note, I have spent hundreds more on my own to overseed and applied fungicide and lawn starter fertilizer and am finally getting results. Funny because I told them about the fungus and that the lawn died overnight but the owner was ADAMENT we didnt need fungicide. But Im not at all surprised with his incompetence being that he overseeded my zyosia with fescue because he determined my grass type by a google image search of my address and not by actually coming out to look at the lawn. So here we are, he refuses to give me money back because he rendered services of aerating and overseeding with the wrong grass seed, didnt conduct a soil test or do any type of assessment, didnt treat for fungus, and ultimately left me with hundreds more in out of pocket expenses for fungicide, grass seed, and fertilizer. Seriously the most INCOMPETENT, DISHONEST, and FRAUDULANT company around Charlotte. Im going to take this to my Congressman under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and Military Consumer Protection for the FCC! Thank you for your feedback. We re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience with our aeration and seeding service. We understand your concerns as a homeowner, especially based on the pictures you provided. However, from a professional perspective, we see that your lawn is progressing well. It appears that a significant number of weeds have been eliminated, and the bare spots are ready for healthy grass to grow. It s important to remember that growing grass takes time, and results can vary across different areas of your lawn. After core aeration and seeding, the seeds will settle into the holes created, and it usually takes some time for them to germinate and establish. You can expect to see initial growth within 14 to 21 days, but full establishment may take several weeks to a couple of months. Regular watering and proper care during this period are crucial. We understand your concerns, but there s no need to worry your grass will fill in. If you need additional reseeding, we offer that free of charge to active customers. We d love to help your lawn look thick and beautiful again; we just ask for a bit of patience as nature takes its course. Regarding your request for a refund, we are unable to provide that since services were rendered. Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need assistance. 10/24 - Updated to add that not only have they NOT contacted me about my issue as they stated below but they also have NOT responded to the BBB complaint filed against them!! See the BBB response to the UNANSWERED complaint! FRAUDSTERS!!!! ***10/17/2024 - Edited to add that even though they replied 1 day ago saying they would reach out to resolve my issue, they have not attempted to contact me and have refused to provide a refund. DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU!! _________________________________________________________ If I could give zero stars or less, that s what this company deserves. I have 2/3 less grass than when I hired them in July and that is lost 3 overseeing. What a joke! I repeatedly called for reservice and they never tested the soil, never treated for fungus or insects. I also have MORE weeds in the lawn that were never addressed. Manager is ALWAYS busy, takes 5 days to return calls. I provided pictures showing the mud pit in my backyard after 2.5 MONTHS of service and the owner said he would overseed again and that I didn t need fungicide or insecticide. This from someone who had never been here and who had not tested the soil. These guys are frauds!!! Don t give them a penny!! They charged me over $400 for this mud pit!!

I didn t have an interaction with Sam, but thanks to technology I could see his work being performed at my home. He covered the entire property with fertilizer. The only thing I wish he had done after spreading the fertilizer, was blow off the fertilizer from the sidewalk, driveway and patio.

This company is attempting to extort money from me despite my repeated calls and written notices to cancel their outrageous service. Their products are not only ineffective but also cause harm. I ve recorded a message reiterating my request to cancel, yet I keep receiving emails from someone named Chad insisting the service will continue. I will dispute all charges as fraudulent and have formally notified them not to trespass on my private property.

Ive been a top turf customer for many years. Genuinely satisfied overall until recently. Called for a weed retreatment. Was told 3-5 business day. Finally, 2 weeks later I got the retreatment. I can tell no difference a week later. Had my aeration and seeding today. Came home from work to a muddy mess. The plugs were left all over my driveway and sidewalk, and then it rained this afternoon. There was more grass seed on the driveway than in the yard. Called to complain about why it wasnt blown off and the mess cleaned up when they were done and was told, sorry, they dont carry blowers with them. Top Turf just lost a long time customer.

Tim applied weed killer and fertilizer to my lawn today. He reported on the weeds and pests that I have in my lawn. Before he left, I got his opinion on how to keep my neighbors wild Bermuda grass out my lawn.

Sam has always been very thorough and professional. There was once an incident where the fertilizer spreader fell over and spilled in my yard causing a larger area of grass to die. Sam reported it which allowed us to call top turf and set up a sod replacement this coming spring. All that to say mistakes happen, but how you handle them is what determines if id like to continue doing business with you. I will continue to do business with Top Turf because they care about doing right. Highly recommend.

My service was scheduled for Friday however I got a call two days prior that our service would be moved out one day to Saturday. When they came on Friday I had not flagged my sprinkler system. Fortunately there was minimal damage. Top Turf also said they would leave some seed for us to fill in with should we need it and that didnt happen.
