I have used PGA lawn care for about 16 months now starting with early fall aeration and seeding back in September 2023. They have helped transform my yard from what had been a thinned out/bare, sickly looking outdoor space into one that is now lush, full, green and healthy. Chad is typically the person from PGA who comes out about every month or so to apply fertilizer, seed, pre-emergent, lime, weed killers, etc. as needed throughout the year. He is professional, thorough, proactive and overall a great customer-facing associate that represents and embodies the high standards PGA lawn care brings to the services they provide their customers. I'm a first time homeowner this year who knows nothing about lawn care yet, so I decided to have it taken care of by PGA. They've been by routinely for just a handful of months so far to do aeration, seeding, and several treatments, and the lawn is already LEAGUES ahead of what it was. You can see where my yard ends and the next begins because of how full and green the grass is, and it's helped fill in dead spots in the backyard that caused my dog to track in mud. Chad is such a pro and explains everything so clearly with each visit, it's really made it so much easier this year with everything else going on. (You can tell which is the before photo...)
It took some time to get things in order, but after some initial hiccups my lawn looks fantastic. I work with Chad regularly, he’s super professional, friendly and clearly knows what he is doing.
Great lawn care service. Knowledgeable people and services to keep your lawn looking good. Always available to answer questions you might have. For example, today, Jordan N. came and applied fertilizer and weed killer. While returning from walking my dog, he stopped his truck to let me know how long to wait before I let her out in the backyard. They go the extra mile to keep you informed and properly advised. They have different crews and staff that handle different services, organized and knowledgeable.
PGA has taken great care of my lawn for years but truly earned my loyalty after hurricane Helene flooded the lake I live on and washed my freshly dropped seed away. I called them to see what it would cost to have them come back and they offered to reseed for free due to the disaster. If you are lucky enough to get Chad out at your place he is knowledgeable and hardworking great asset to the team.
I signed up with PGA last November for Monthly Lawn Maintenance that included: Mowing Weekly Edging All beds and hard edges Weekly Weekly Leaf and Debris Removal Aeration/ Overseeding All 7 Treatments for the Turf Bed Maintenance and De-weeding Since then we had to call multiple times at the beginning just to get them to come out and perform these services. Once they finally got us on a schedule our lawn has slowly looked worse and worse every month until now when we finally had enough and emailed to cancel services. After sending the email Corey called me back asking about what was going on. I explained that our lawn looks much worse now than it did before hiring them and that when I asked one of the crew members on site one day what was going on they explained it was because of the hot summer and slope of our yard. We had no issues growing grass there before and neither neighbor on either side with the same sloped yard has issues. I was told that the summer was rough in the lawn and that maybe it was getting too much water. Corey suggested he come by and take a look then give me some suggestions on what could be done to fix it. I agree to give them a chance. This was two weeks ago and no one has come by or called/ emailed me any suggestions on how to fix my lawn. It’s bad enough the actual lawn service was poor but then not following up like promised when given the chance to fix the situation is just bad business. Attached are pictures of my lawn before (the first two) and then after 6 months with PGA and you decide if you want your lawn to look like this.
PGA has been very responsive to my lawncare requests. I recommend them for your yard care too. Chad was great to work with.

PGA is very good at keeping true to their schedules. Jordan N. is an excellent account manager. We did have difficulty with our yard during the summer, but the lack of rain and high heat may have contributed to that. Overall, we are happy with their services.
We have been extremely pleased with PGA Lawn Care. The leadership team and technicians are pleasant, and they communicate well - always notifying us in advance to let us know when they are coming and what special treatments they will be providing during the services involving chemicals (spraying herbicides, fungicides, shrubs, and spreading fertilizer, etc). Corey Baker is responsive and reliable, has excellent interpersonal skills and has provided outstanding customer service to us. Chad applies lawn chemicals and fertilizers to keep our lawn healthy and free of weeds. Our lawn and shrubs have never looked so healthy.

I needed to find another landscaper who would do a better job caring for our Charlotte property. I found PGA Lawn Care in 2020, and now we have the best lawn we ever had. They cut, weed, feed, trim the hedges and clear up leaves in the fall. Best service I ever had! Best lawn in the neighborhood!

This is my first year using this service and so far so good. I chose PGA because my neighbor uses them and they have the type of grass I want. The customer service is good and everyone I ve been in contact with has been friendly. Hopefully my grass grows the way they promised, we will see in a few months.
Larry did an excellent job . He identified some bad spots that needed attention and performed some extra TLC to those areas. He reviewed the yard after he finished aerating and made sure I was satisfied. Larry is an asset to your business!!!

PGA has completely turned around our lawn. When we moved in three years ago, our fescue lawn looked great. However, it slowly looked worse and worse over the first two years we lived here. It seemed to be suffering from brown patch fungus, but the company we were using wasn t able to fix it. We switched the PGA a little over a year ago, and our lawn looks excellent yet again. They ve now seeded our lawn twice and treated it for a full year. They are offering a $25 account credit for 5-star reviews. However, I had been meaning to do a review of them after a full year of treatment anyway. They earned the 5-star review for how they turned around our lawn.

Jason and team are the most fantastic to work with in the lawn care industry in Charlotte. Our builder didnt start us off with the greatest base of a lawn, and after guidance and working with PGA, we have beautiful grass that is weed free, becoming lush, and a complete 180 from what we started with.
