Fairway Green in Charlotte

High recommend this company, everyone is always very professional and goes above and beyond for service. I ve been using this company for the past few years and have seen a huge difference in my yard. Ray did my fall aeration today and his team did an excellent job!

My neighbor uses Fairway Green. Two months ago their technician left me neighbors gate unlatched on a windy day and the gate swung open hard enough to take a huge gouge out of my siding. Fine, accidents happen, just fix it. Called the company and they seemed very serious about making it right. And no one came to fix it Talked to James, one of their managers, and he was very apologetic and promised he would have someone out by the end of the week And no one came to fix it Called James back, several times. No answer. Left voicemails, no return calls. Finally called him from a different number. James was very apologetic and said yeah we need to get that done, our guy hasnt been reliable. As if that is my responsibility And no one came to fix it James then said he would get his new guy on it right away And no one came to fix it They have dragged this on for months with nothing but empty promises from Fairway Green. Update: add another month to it. Still not fixed They are either lying or incompetent, but either way watch who you do business with

Drivers are rude and aggressive. Cant imagine how they treat customers!

I have held off reviewing Fairway Greens until I saw how well their recommendations for how to treat my lawn went the first couple years. We essentially killed the lawn and then they took over. My lawn guy has told me that I have one of the tickets lawns he cuts and often times has to go over it multiple times in the spring. Ray came by to aerate and seed and is always a wealth of knowledge about how my lawn is looking and what I need to keep an eye out for. He does works hard to keep my lawn looking great. I also get very quick responses and helpful information via text. Overall they do an excellent job taking care of my lawn and giving me personalized recommendations based off what Ray and others are seeing when they are at my house.

Ray and his team did a great job made sure that I was happy with the work that was performed.Ray made sure nothing was missed.

Ray showed up and rang the doorbell before beginning work to ensure my dogs were inside. I ve had companies in the past just drive away when they saw the dogs in the yard, so this was awesome for me to have someone take initiative and check! He took the time to go over what he was going to do and answered all my questions. Very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous, 10/10, would recommend!!

We have had Fairway Green for a couple years now, and our yard has been weed free. Ray came out to aerate our lawn this morning and did a fantastic job! He was so friendly, professional, thorough and carefully went over problem areas multiple times. I really enjoyed his personable demeanor and big smile, and the fact that he had a great emphasis on customer service & satisfaction. James was also prompt in keeping us informed about the aeration process & follow up. We are looking forward to some golf course like turf soon to enjoy the rest of the summer. I would like to give my kudos to Ray, who came and aerated my lawn. He was polite and professional. He took the time to show me areas that he was unable to get to because of tight space etc. He had everything loaded in his truck and notice a very small area he missed and went and got his equipment and did it. Ray came this week to do our summer aeration and did a great job. We have a very difficult/steep yard, that can be hard to even mow. He took the time to go over problem areas multiple times and walk the whole yard and answer questions before leaving. Excellent experience.

My yard has never looked better. Minimal weeds that are killed almost as quickly as they appear. Additionally the communication is frequent and clear to answer any concerns or questions that I have as well as provide me advance notice of concerns.

I hate to come back with this review but my lawn care person called me to schedule an appointment and told me what treatment would be done. I didnt know that there was additional fee for the services. So when I called and Kimberly gave me the price I wanted to know why the bill was higher than normal. I advised her that I was not told this in advance. I paid my normal charge and thanked Kimberly (which she shouldve been thanking me for using the company.) Instead she says Ummhumm to me which is rude. I repeated Ummhumm and she hung up the phone. My husband and I discussed the rudeness and I called back and asked for a supervisor. Kimberly the same rep proceeded to ask me why I needed a supervisor and I explained that telling a customer Ummhumm and hanging the phone up is rude. Since she wouldnt give me the information that I asked for I told her Id write a review. Ive used your company for 3 years and have never been charged anything other than my normal monthly charge. I need for a manager to call me and explain why my bill was $104 for my February svc. Thanks in advance. My number should be listed. 2/26/24 A very nice gentleman from Fairway Green called me back and was very understanding and apologetic. I was in the process of looking for another lawn svc company which I didnt want to do because they do an excellent job treating our lawn.

Service was poor in that it had literally zero effect on my lawn in over a year. Do NOT prepay. They dont send you any notification that your prepayment has been fulfilled and will they charge you, again without notice, for the next service. Im sure they are nice people but it soured when they forced a service that I didnt know of or authorize.

I had a horrible experience with fairway green. I contacted them last year as a new homeowner with little knowledge about lawncare i was hoping to get a company who was reliable and trustworthy but unfortunately that wasnt the case. I spoke to OBrien who came out to analyze the lawn and drew up the initial agreement of service contract which I still have. The agreement was from March to October of 2023. I prepaid the contract in full. The first time I had to follow up because the tech didnt even come out when scheduled I was told they didnt have the proper chemicals to treat my lawn??? The next few times they came out and I started to noticed my back yard was the only one getting treated. When I called in I got a supervisor to come out to my home and they saw where the ball was dropped and no one had been servicing the front or side of my lawn. I was told that they would work to fix issues but at that point I was already sure we were not going to continue services with them. I even spoke to the rep and let them know we were not going to continue to use their services after our prepaid contract was up. In January I realized I got billed for a service for 2024??? I called and spoke to a woman who said they would review and have someone call me. She said that they couldnt find where I asked to non renew the contract??? I never agreed to renew!!! I prepaid for 1 year and didnt even get the services that I paid for half the year. When Obrien contacted me and offered free winter weeds service if I stayed I told him I would talk things over with spouse and let him know. I told him today that we did not want to continue services but somehow Im still on the hook for services I didnt agree to! Please be careful when entering in any agreement with this company I dont have anything bad to say about the initial rep Obrien but the techs and billing department forced me to look elsewhere for my lawncare!

These guys are NOT like the others (that will remain nameless) - Cameron was my tech today, they follow up with DETAILED application notes, but even more so, the communication about what is happening, the weeds, the grass types - etc. It is a different level. I highly recommend- rsg

When we moved into our home 9 months ago the lawn was mostly weeds. We thought we would most likely need to sod, but decided to try Fairway Greens service first. The results have been truly amazing and we now have a lush green lawn! Our technician has been great to work with.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY, CHARGES FOR SERVICES NOT PERFORMED. Horrible experience for what should have been simple lawn & weed treatments. We have had consistent issues with this company. They charge for services not performed which we documented on our home cameras and showed to Field staff and manager. We had to speak with the Manager Johnathan several times regarding this, who was very nice and apologetic but ultimately issues were never rectified after we were told they would be on multiple times. Office person Kimberly extremely unprofessional and has no knowledge of what goes on although she attempts to give information which is contradictory. A Fairway Green Employee told me the office staff has no idea what is actually going on in the field and there is a lack of communication with field agents. Follow up time on re-servicing is quite delayed. Im not sure who is running this company but I would never recommend the hassle with so many alternative options with much better customer service. We were told the General Manager does not speak with customers when we requested to speak with another manager. Quite convenient and Interesting. We will be cancelling our services. Although we have remained patient with this company, due to the mounting disrespect shown by the Office staff person Kimberly on more than one occasion, we will no longer accept these disrespectful and dishonest behaviors. Take it from me, just go elsewhere!

We are using the Fairway Green mosquito service as well as our lawn care and we have had fantastic service. They are always so friendly and helpful plus the guy who does the spraying is totally thorough. Last time our sprinklers were running (we felt really bad) he just kept going and did a great job!! We actually have no mosquitoes except after we had 3-4 days of rain. They told us all we had to do was call if we saw a mosquito and they would come out and respray that week. They did! And did so cheerfully and just as thoroughly as our routine sprays. Ive told all my neighbors! Best price and truly effective.

Aaron Sanders did an excellent job at treating/spraying our trees and shrubs to prevent insects. He was very through in his insecticide applications. The quality and value are great and the results speak for themselves, but the biggest positive for me is the Fairway team actually listens and addresses any specific concerns- A+ customer service in a segment where most companies treat you like a number!

I switched to Fairway Green for our lawn, shrub and mosquito service three years ago and am extremely pleased with the service. They do great quality work and are very responsive when I have questions or need to make changes.

Super frustrated with these guys. Canceled my normal maintenance at the beginning of this year due to lack of quality of lawn applications. I engaged them at the end of this season just to perform core aeration and the scheduling process has been terrible. Went from an expectation of 10/8 to week of 10/9, to 10/13, and now 10/16. Emailed them multiple times requesting 10/9 due to some business travel, they wouldnt work with me at all. Wound up canceling. Do not recommend.

I have been a customer for over 6 years. The lawn looks great every year. I use them for all services including aerating and seeding. Best part is the customer service. They are local and usually the person you speak with is the person you have on site.

This is the best weed service around. When I signed up the technician was up front with the fact that it would take time for the weeds to get under control. Any time I have a question my technician takes the time to answer it fully and always gives suggestions. This is by far the best service I have ever spent money on.

I have used Fairway Green since I moved to SC in 2015 and I have not been disappointed. They are very responsive if I see issues. I think their pricing is comparable to other companies (and I think they re all too high), but my lawn has definitely improved over the years.

Been using FAIRWAY GREEN for many years. Happy with the service and they are responsive to issues that pop up relative to drought, too much rain, bugs, etc. I mean lets face it, there are a lot of variables that go into making a lawn look nice. Its more of an art than a science at times.

We started using Fairway Green about 3 years ago. They have been working on improving the Bermuda grass in our front yard and the Fescue in the backyard. Our yard is so much better and have had neighbors ask who we use for the yard. I always receive a text letting me know when they will be here and the technicians are very professional.

The crew that aerated and seeded my lawn today did an EXCELLENT job! The aeration was very thorough, the seed was spread evenly and they cleaned all traces of seed and fertilizer from the sidewalk. Right on schedule and great service.

We struggled for years to get our lawn green. Heard excuses that the soil was bad, the heat is an issue, etc. Evan and the group at Fairway Green were able to get our lawn looking green and plush in no time. Their responsiveness is second to none and their employees are the best Ive encountered. My only complaint now is having to mow too often. I would highly recommend giving them a try. Weve been using Fairway green for approximately 10 years and wont use anyone else. Previous weed control companies left our yard looking terrible with more weeds. At one time we cancelled service thinking we could do it better ourselves for less. Within a year we were back with Fairway Green and will remain loyal customers. Very highly recommend and the technicians that apply the product are very considerate and professional. We are the only ones in the neighborhood who use a professional weed control company so they have their work cut out for them as weed seeds are always blowing into our yard. However, our lawn looks great and couldnt be happier. We have an acre lot without an irrigation system so its a difficult yard to treat.Recently, the technician went overboard to make sure we were happy. Try them, you wont be sorry.

After a terrible experience with another lawn service company and almost a total loss of my Bermuda lawn, I called on Fairway Green to help restore it. They developed a program for me to restore the lawn and create a healthy environment for it to thrive. Two years in, the lawn is in better shape and health than it ever was. The technicians communicate with me on what they are doing and provide me with recommendations to make sure I m satisfied. You won t find a better group to trust your lawn to.

This service is a scam. I used them for a year. The first time they did a great job, but as the year progressed we only had issues. They would do my .35 acre yard in 6 minutes from the start of the doorbell to when they drove off. They have lazy people that are just there for a paycheck and will half a** your yard once you are locked in.

Fairway Green is rock solid. You sign up for the service, the come out and engage and execute. Last year, I had some struggles with crab grass and they helped form a plan to take care of it. I have used them for 10+ years at 2 different houses. These guys are really good!

Always polite when they arrive. They ring my bell and stand back away from the door. They promptly service the yard and I get an immediate email that details the work. And the yard looked great after I started utilizing their service last summer!

I usually do not do ratings.... I used this company for 2 years. My yard was totally screwed by these guys. When I called to discuss I was told that I did not have to continue service. Wow, no opportunity to speak with supervisor or offer to help fix issue. These guys h Just want your money and probably treat your yard with water.... If you like Ive your yard, dont use this company.

My second year using fairway green and there has been a vast improvement to my lawn from the years before. Looking around at all of my neighbors lawns (who have different lawn care specialists) my lawn is thriving more and NO WEEDS!. My neighbors are even complementing on how good my lawn looks and inquired about fairway green. Can t recommend them enough especially when I have questions about the lawn for my personal knowledge. Super friendly and very professional.

STEER CLEAR!! Crooked company and horrible service! If I could have selected zero stars, I would have. Most unprofessional company and worst service experience. $300 invested and after being very displeased with the service (manager came out to my house and confirmed it was a poor service... he shared that he was new and said he was brought in to make changes). I cancelled future treatments, and they charged me for two more and I ve been disputing it for over 2 years ($49 x 2). 2.5 years later and they re still spamming me with interest charges for this $98 charge that they claim they serviced my yard (if they did service it, I never signed off on anything nor saw them at my house), and this is further proof of their lack luster treatments/product as the condition of my yard did not improve. They should have reimbursed the $300 at the time they admitted to a poor job, but they didn t. Also, it was brought to my attention that they spoke poorly about me at a trade show after my poor experience was shared with them. A satisfied customer tells all his friends and family... a dissatisfied and poorly treated customer tells everyone. I would never recommend this company due to their lack of professionalism, missing code of ethics, and most importantly for charging for a service that was at first not done to my (or the managers) satisfaction, and then charging me for services that were never requested or agreed to. For over 2 years I ve tried to resolve this with Fairway Green and just today I received another bill in the mail. Steer clear - it s an unnecessary headache dealing with them! ***Evan Hager (Manager) and Todd Bayley who have given 3, 5-Star Google Reviews work (or have worked for) Fairway Green. I have been with Fairway Green-Charlotte for about 2 years. My yard looks fantastic! My service tech is Mr.Emanuel Sims, he is polite and truly takes pride in his job! This world needs more folks like him! When he leaves my house and hands me the invoice he always says Have a blessed day!

I cant say enough about how dedicated this company was to working with me to solve issues with my lawn. After losing nearly every bit of grass we had, they worked with us to set up a plan to restore and improve the lawn. Through numerous setbacks due to unusual weather and weeds and nondesirable grasses that had taken hold, they were dependable and timely in addressing issues. My lawn is now beautiful and I know I can call on them to help me solve any problems that arise. First class customer service!

Fairway Green has done a wonderful job with our yard and keeping our grass and trees so beautiful!! I highly recommend them. Every staff member that has come out has been so nice and knowledgeable. They always leave a description of what they have done that day like fertilized trees or applied fungicide, etc. Our yard looks amazing!

We have Bermuda grass, Fairway Green is an excellent service for us. We have been using them for over 3 years now and all of our neighbors have switched them as well. If you have an issue, they are right on it and get you taken care of quickly.

Charlotte company ruined my lawn...Had a beautiful fescue lawn and now it is a patchy mess and 75% Bermuda. Worst service and most unprofessional experience with this company. I would never recommend. We now have the worst lawn on the block now after 2 years of promises to get it right. Dont throw your money away!
