Terrible terrible communication and service...... They hung Christmas lights on my building and I felt they charged me more than they should have The declined how good they were and how communicating they were if I had issues. They have not responded and I shared with them if not worked since they left. I did not feel this way when I first met him until I read all the reviews but they are definitely great sales associates and I got stung. Be careful with this group . Lots of bad reviews
Was looking into utilizing them for a project… however after doing my due diligence and looking thru the reviews I’ve decided against even contacting them. My first red flag was that the reviews are either amazing or one star. So I decided to run some of the pictures others left of their completed jobs thru Google Lens. Turns out most of the images were stolen images from other landscaping companies, meaning the reviews praising their services are not real. Tread carefully… but I wouldn’t use their services when they are claiming other landscapers work as their own.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We signed a contract with CML for our project on 7/2/2024, paid a deposit with a check that was promptly cashed on 7/5/2024, and have been GHOSTED ever since! We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on 9/23/2024 which they have ignored. I just want our deposit back - it has been 4 MONTHS without any contact even after multiple text messages and email attempts on our part. It is beyond ridiculous that this company is still in business! I am APPALLED at the level of disrespect and mistreatment of their customers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - they will cause you nothing but heartburn!
We are so upset that we thought we could trust Carolina Metro to do some simple landscaping work for us. We received nothing but excuses for months after they cashed our deposit, and though we were patient and cooperative they finally stopped answering our calls and emails. It's impossible to get a hold of anyone, and at this point I don't believe this company even exists anymore. All we want is our deposit money back and to never have to call or deal with this horrible company ever again. It seems like some people only received a response after posting a review, so here we are. If we don't hear back at this point, our only other options are to submit formal complaints, contacting local news stations so other customers don't fall for their scams, and to file a police report given that it seems like this is a fraudulent front company who takes deposits but doesn't do any actual work. Please DO NOT call this company if you are looking for landscaping work to be done!

We hired Carolina Metro Landscape to come out after our house was built and design us a beautiful outdoor living space and landscaped area. What they designed was amazing. After we approved the design they got started within a few weeks. All I can say is wow.... My friends, family and neighbors have all been over and they love it. I am so very happy to have hired them. These guys do beautiful work and I would recommend them to anyone in the Charlotte area.
Carolina metro landscape truly came thru for me. My HOA had me remove thousands of dollars worth of decorative rock and swap them out for mulch in my garden beds. The guys at Carolina metro got the project done for me in a matter of days. While I simply cannot be happy with how much of a downgrade this was, I m grateful for this company that fit me into their schedule, was responsive to all my questions, recommended what would look best given scope of the project and left the job site tidy even though they finished it in the dark. Thanks guys!
Half of the estimate was required for a retaining wall and was deposited on 4/18/24. After 6 months of excuses we had enough. Work was to begin in May 2024, months passed. The 1213 West Morehead office is a mailing address only, the actual occupant stated others have gone there looking for them. On 7/19/24 we asked for a refund, we were told the stone was purchased already. Another full month passed. 8/19 they began digging, nothing after that. 9/3/24 they show up for 24 mins of work. Weeks passed, we begged and pleaded to please respond and finish the work. 9/19/24 we sent an email to say we are done and want our stone. No response. Throughout the experience we have sent texts, emails, calls (voicemail was always full) all unanswered. Any proof including photos, videos, emails, texts etc. can be provided to prove our case.
We had Carolina Metro Landscape install a new techo bloc paver patio and outdoor kitchen. It looks great. They really do great work. I just moved to Charlotte NC and Im glad I chose them to do my work. Would certainly recommend them to everyone.

I typically refrain from leaving 1-star reviews, but this situation leaves me no choice. Scott from Carolina Metro Landscape reached out to us about a month ago for a concrete supply job. We fulfilled the order, delivering the concrete on time and as agreed. Due to delays on their end during the pouring process, we had to adjust the final charge slightly. Once the job was completed, all communication from Scott and his team abruptly ceased. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone, text, and email, we received no response. Concerned about the lack of communication, we visited the customer for whom they were performing the job. The customer was cooperative and informed us that she had already paid Carolina Metro Landscape in full. Following this visit, Scott contacted us in an irate manner, objecting to our visit to their customer and claiming that a check had been mailed to us. As of today, we have yet to receive any payment, and they remain unresponsive. Given the number of negative reviews this company has accumulated, I strongly suggest anyone to be extremely cautious when dealing with Carolina Metro Landscape. If we do not receive a response or payment soon, we will be pursuing further action

Customer service is awful. Set an appointment for 8:00 am. by 8:20 no one showed. I called and was told it would be 9:30 followed by excuses of why they dont set exact times. I told them to go ahead into the backyard and call me as I had to go to work. To my knowledge they never showed, never called or emailed with a quote as I was told. I texted back twice to inquire about the quote. I never received a text in return. There are many other places to call folks!
Terrible experience with Carolina Metro Landscape. Started my landscaping work in December. They did not complete the work. Work still remains Swapping out sprinkler heads.replace landscape light. Have called many times sent emails texts.. Asking if they were coming back. Never a response back. Voicemail full message. However they sent email saying 98 percent complete.. not even close. I have the invoice to show it. Plus a yard with No lights. They charged credit card for remaining balance. Even though replied to email saying that is not correct please do not charge my card. As it stands now just want Carolina Metro Landscaping to refund the 7k they charged me for work they did not complete. I believe that is only right. Noticed my review been out there for several days and no response from owner. However the positive feedback after mine received a response. My review was ignored just want the company to resolve issue. They did not perform work so they should not charge me. Respond to my calls or emails texts. UPDATE APRIL 10TH. The phone number the customer relations person gave me. Is not the actual company it is a subsidiary of Charlotte Metro Landscaping. I am beyond frustrated with this company. They will not return calls emails text. They give you a number the guy who answered the phone is not part of company. Was extremely nice and willing to help. So I been overcharged cannot get them to respond they have unfinished work.. Just a complete waste..

My neighbor recommended Carolina Metro Landscape and mentioned that they did an amazing job on their landscaping project that they had gotten last summer and I can honestly agree. I reached out to them and got contacted right away. They gave me many helpful recommendations for a paver project that i was interested in. These guys were excellent to work with! Their hardscape and landscape designs were wonderful. They listened to what I was looking for and exceeded the expectations. I would definitely use Carolina Metro Landscape again and will be recommending them to my family members and friends!
Cameron inspected our sprinkler system and had some recommendations. We replaced several sprinklers as well as a few heads with no surprises. We added a drip system as well for a couple flower beds. The process was completed on budget with no surprises. Carolina Metro Landscape was on time and on budget.

very nasty and rude
We hired Carolina Metro Landscape to design us a outdoor oasis type of space. The design cam out beautiful and with a few minor changes we approved it. The installed out patio with beautiful techo-bloc pavers, outdoor kitchen with gas grill, fridge, pizza oven, etc. We then added a 75 tv which the hooked up the electrical for the outdoor fans, receptacles and switches. We enclosed the area with a rooftop and added a Jimmy Buffet style midsize surfer bar which they also helped us with. They hired a subcontractor for that portion which saved us from having to search fora contractor which we had no idea of where to begin for that anyway. They put in our pool 3 years ago and with the new pavers and outdoor living area, we have our oasis. Our friends love it and there will be many outdoor get togethers in Charlotte NC that will be happening this year. Lol.... Thank you Carolina Metro Landscape for all your hard work. It was worth it.

Contacted them about our timing and project needs. They were unwilling to come out and discuss the project in a free consultation until we were in the purchase phase. With a project of our size and complexity we need to get estimates so we can plan for the year. I recommend not contacting this company until you are ready to purchase.
See Metros response. Bottom line is Visa made him give back the overcharge. And by the way, Metro. You say you give back the tip. You did not and Id be happy to receive it. k with an estimate, but then delayed and poor correspondence and late start. After work completed, added an additional, unjust ified, $600 labor charge by simply charging my credit card without my authority. Worked with visa for a month and a half to resolve this. Nothing from Metro. Visa agreed with me and reversed the charge. Dont trust these god bless people.

An honest, fast, and all-around excellent company. I was thrilled that Scott was so responsive and able to get our system fixed and back in top shape so quickly and at a very fair rate. I would quickly use them again for any sprinkler or landscaping needs.
Although I m sure they likely perform good work their follow through on commitments are not of quality. I had 4 scheduled appointments for the same service which they provided me the dates and times and they didn t call nor show for three of those. Mostly just excuses new person forgot to reschedule, too many customers on a day, too much traffic. One of the instances was for rain which I completely understand. Each appointment I agreed to with no complaints or comments until the fourth time. Finally I said for the 5th attempt can we make sure I receive the service without another reschedule and they decided that I should go elsewhere. Response: I said the weather was understandable and you committed the other days but just couldn t follow through and didn t have enough respect to call/text. And I agreed to the times you provided: Saturday 8-11, Tuesday 6, Friday 6. I hope people see the professionalism on your response .

Disgrace! Be careful! This company took a deposit from us to screen in our back porch and never started the project. They never respond unless you write a negative post. We want nothing but our $2,500 back! The owner said we would be contacted but they never did. We will continue to post honest facts about dealing with this company until they do the right thing. This is not a case of criticizing a companys work, this is theft! Refund our money!

They diagnosed the issue and gave me a fair price to repair it. Finally, when they discovered that the electrical problem was actually less involved than originally thought they lowered the price of the repair. This truly honest and above an beyond!
