Wonderful company to work with. I did a complete re-landscape of the front of my home! It looks terrific! Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They also top coated and over seeded my yard! Nevin Sexton, owner of Native Soil, planted a new tree in our front yard today, and we could not be more pleased! We consulted with him this summer when we decided to replace a previous small tree that was dying. Nevin listened closely to what we wanted, assessed our house’s roof line and the depth of our yard, considered the plantings that were already in our landscape, and recommended several species of trees that might work well for us. This morning he removed the old tree and replaced it with a Hefner’s Red Japanese Maple. He watered the tree, top dressed the soil, and cleaned the area thoroughly. He says on his website that he and his team are “committed to delivering high-quality services that exceed our clients’ expectations.” He lives up to that description!

Nevin and his team did an amazing job with structural pruning of 6 large, mature trees on our property. Immediate transformation in curb appeal! Excited to begin the next phase of the project in a few weeks. Update: Nevin and Native Soil just completed the second phase of our project which included planting many new shrubs/trees, transplanting others, and preparing new areas of our property for turf. Nevin was extremely thoughtful and patient as we finalized our design and the execution was flawless. Nevin listened carefully to my vision for a rework of a section of my front yard. The soil in the area he prepared for planting pollinator plants this fall is now rich and ready, and we will collaborate on creating a vital pollinator garden. He also suggested some tree trimming - great for our beehives and the plants. After doing all the work, he left the site beautifully clean and serene, no dirt or debris on the paved driveway, no limbs or litter in the yard. He uses high quality, natural products. Nevin of Native Soil did such a thorough job of evaluating the planting, pruning, and fertilizing needs in our yard, then came and did a fantastic job on some of our trees and shrubs. He removed limbs growing onto our roof, pruned trees to allow more light and health, removed some invasives, and will be doing more planting for me in the fall. Did a great job cleaning over tree debris as well. Highly recommend!!

Nevin did a wonderful job in our yard. We didn’t have any knowledge before we began this project but Nevin introduced us to the world of trees and bushes. Explained us why we should or should not do things we proposed and he has a wonderful vision to make yards look goegeous. When he arrived for the work he didn’t just install trees, he installed the most beautiful large trees, much better than we had hoped for.
