Super helpful staff. Orders were delivered on time. Drivers were respectful, came down my steep road and didn't tear up my driveway!! Dumped rocks and orders of topsoil exactly where I wanted them!! Nice job guys! I will order again and recommend! Ive ordered on 3 separate occasions.
Will definitely order here again and recommend them to anyone. I've ordered before from here with no issues and great timing on deliveries. I had multiple deliveries in the last week and had some problems with some of them. But the company was very easy to work with on a solution to help me feel like I was properly taken care of. I greatly appreciate their willingness to make things right.
I love shopping here for rocks to create painted rocks! They have giant bags of different sized river rock that is fun to pick through for just the right shapes and sizes... LOL! You may use the little red wagons to carry your rocks to the roll-on scale, pay at the shop, and roll them to your auto. It is so nice to be able to get 10 rocks or 10 lbs of rocks for your art plans! The staff is always friendly and helpful! They are closed on Sundays, open Saturday-Friday 9am-5pm+.
The BEST people work here. The soil is too good. I donated a couple thousand plants to the Master Gardner's Sale because mine got so big I could divide them.

Ok... so I must have passed this place about a 1000 times.... today I decided to stop in after my girlfriend and mom and myself made the decision to make our yard look better. I pulled in and saw quite the array of things. Soil of different types... Bark of different types... Various rock and brick of color and shape... Went in and was greeted by nice people who helped me with my choice. Payed for my bark and got filled up. Good professional job done and I was happy. Propane on site along with animal feed..water fountain supplies...weed block...nice place. Looking forward to dealing with Lael's soon again. Thank you very much. I recently had 60 yards of topsoil delivered. I was very detailed about where I wanted each load dumped. I provided a verbal description over the phone, a hand sketched map of the property marking each dump location to the office, and I also placed an orange bucket/cone in each dump location. 4 out of 5 loads were delivered correctly. One load was delivered 50 Feet from where I am putting a new lawn in. I called to discuss the situation with Lael's because at the time I did not have equipment to move the 12yd pile. When I called to explain the situation and told them my wife would be by to make the payment I was told they would bring another load and drop where I marked. When my wife showed up the women working the counter told her she is not going to comp a load because her driver dumped where the map showed (not true at all). After taking pictures I decided not to follow up with her. The truly sad part is the soil they brought is nothing more then screened clay with small rocks in it. I should have and will now go to Walker development landscape supply in the future because they have true nutrient black topsoil. Note in pictures Black Dirt (aka Topsoil) is from Walker development and Landscape in Chehalis and the brown dirt is Laels Landscape version of rock filled topsoil.

Staff were rude and condescending. I called a week before I went in to get prices for raised bed/ potting soil. Quote me 30$/yard but you must load yourself. Today I got to purchase, they dont have a raised bed or potting soil, and the gardening soil is $60/yard, and they can load you up but inexplicably not my trailer.

Best landscape supply in Lewis County. Purchased 6 yards of potting soil and it is some of the best Ive seen. Fast and easy and great job on loading it onto my trailer.

Came in to buy some crushed rock, was asked to wait until the guy was finished filling a propane tank and he would help me. Another customer came in and was helped before I was ever asked what I needed. I am not going to wait in the cold to get skipped over because I am not a regular. Walker development will get my business and be recommended to all my customers.

Bought a dump truck do so Called organic dirt ! Horrible ! Plants have not grown. Have died had to replace plants. Took soil I was told it was being tested! Over a month. Was told several complaints. We have a landscape service. First time using this company for dirt. Never again waisted $425!

Our last trip to Laels was disappointing; the shipment of pavers we were waiting on to finish a patio wasnt the same color we had pruchased twice before; but couldnt tell how far off until we got home & started laying. Please be honest with your customers, we would have waited for the correct color to come in... Now we have 90 pavers that dont match the rest of the ptoject and will be going elsewhere to find what we need.

My experience on this site is and has been very good, the people are very kind, attentive and the truth is that it is a joy and satisfaction to buy here. I recommend it and I compare it with other sites and this one is very good and of great help, economical and accessible.

I purchased 5 yards of rock to be delivered and I specifically told them I wanted it spread from the back to the front of our driveway. It was put on the delivery ticket and the driver was told when he got to our place what we wanted. What we got was a pile of rock at the end of the driveway, approximant 15 yards from the front of the driveway. I went to the office and complained and the gals smiled at me and said there was nothing they could do. This was the 2nd time they did that to me only the first time they dumped 2+ yards at the front of the driveway so no one could get in or out until the rock was moved. I will not give them anymore of my business. I dont think I will recommend them if anyone asks either.
