Jordan did an A-1, first class job on our lawn aeration. There was not one plug to be found on the walkways and driveway, and he was very diligent in his navigation of our property.
This is a company that truly cares! I have used Turf Nerd for a few years now and have seen drastic improvements in my lawn. It took about a season or so to really start noticing a difference but I knew that with any proper lawn treatment... you have to be patient! Along with my yard looking GREAT; as a customer I have communicated via phone and email with Turf Nerd and their customer service is nothing less than incredible. I recently sent an email about the specific ingredients that were used during my applications in regards to my concerns with having a young daughter and pets that play in the yard. I figured I would get a short response with some link referring me to a website... instead I received an extremely long and thought out personalized email from David (The Owner of Turf Nerd) letting me know that he too has the same concerns and he provided all of the information I could ever need to give me peace of mind. All in all....I HIGHLY recommend using Turf Nerd for your lawn care needs.
My yard looks so great using Turf Nerd. That’s the bottom line. Super green, no weeds and thick. Secondary, David is so knowledgeable about lawn care in terms of weather, insects, and general lawn maintenance. I had a lot of concerns about my vegetable garden and bees and basically just not using chemicals around that and David was so accommodating and helpful. They really do a spectacular job
Turf Nerd takes great care to avoid harming your pets. During our most recent application, they took the time to place our dogs toys on the porch to ensure there was no cross-contamination. Very happy with their commitment to safety! Not to mention that neighbors ask why our lawn looks so good!

David & his team at Turf Nerd are the best lawn care professionals we've ever used. They've managed to turn our yard (which would have been a "2" into an almost "10") because of the challenging soil, slope to our yard, shade with all our trees, etc. They are AMAZING! David's knowledge of understanding your lawn is above & beyond. I would jokingly say it's not rocket science, but it is science, and they're GREAT at it! Treating our lawn organically was a huge plus. The customer service is stellar, and we wouldn't trust anyone else. Turf Nerd is the way to go!

WOW! Kudos to this company for referring me to someone else to do the core aeration on our lawn since they (Turf Nerd) were at capacity for mechanical aeration for non-lawn treatment customers. Braely gave me a recommendation on the phone, as well as sent me an e-mail, for another company who was currently providing the aeration service. Her referral was VERY much appreciated as no one else was answering their phone, returning my phone calls, and/or were at capacity for aerations the remainder of the year. Thanks SO much, Braely! I contacted the company that you recommended, and they got the job done.
My lawn has never looked this good (17 years). I know the weather helps, but a great lawncare company does as well. I have been with the for over 10 years....would recommend to anyone. (The treat 3 acres for us)

This is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met in the lawn care service industry. He is patient and he enjoys teaching customers in order to inform them so they can make a good decision. The quality of the product is self-evident when you see the difference in the color thickness and lack of weeds in the lawn. Hey my opinion this is the best lawn service company in the area.
What exactly does Turf Nerd lawn care service do compared to TruGreen? I have been using TruGreen and I am thinking of switching services. I was wondering because Turf Nerd cost $150 more than TruGreen and uses 5 applications vs 6 with TruGreen.
Turf Nerd is the go to company for lawn treatments. I actually own a very old landscape and sod installation firm in the area. We refer our clients to Turf Nerd. David is a true professional. We dont offer that particular service, and Turf Nerd hasnt let us down treating our particular cultivars of turf installation. If you need a true professional, Id strongly suggest Turf Nerd.
I m endorsing David, my father, knows what he is talking about. He has lived and breathed lawn care my whole life. He s also spent many weekends driving his kids around to look at his clients lawns and all I can say is they stood out in the neighborhood as Turf Nerd s work.

I have called this place two times in the past month or so. Each time I got an answering service that tells me the owner will call me back. He never does :( Unfortunate because I heard some good things about them. Not sure what the deal is. My weeds were growing so I signed up with another service.
David is the best in the business! He is extremely knowledgeable and will explain every step, he will work with you and give you the best looking lawn in the neighborhood! Never called me back or sent an estimate
As far as I am concerned theres nobody more knowledgeable than David Watkins about lawn care! He has been at it a long time and knows his stuff. He has been doing lawn care off and on for me since 1997 and I have always been very satisfied with his service. They stay up to date with some of the latest organic technology doing their part in making the planet a little (no, a LOT!) greener!
Awesome service I have been a very happy customer for 3 years. Would not go with anyone else in my area. Love the organic side of it. Great that it also makes my neighbors, very happy as their 2 Boxer dogs enjoy it too! My lawn looks great all year long. Cheers Positive
David started working with me in 2013 when my yard started out in very bad shape; I live near the Little Miami river and so my soil is pretty much composed completely of clay and rocks. David has used his organic turf tea to help transform my soil into a much better substrate, and since using him my neighbor has even said that my yard looked like the Augusta Golf Course! Highly recommended.
I m in year three with David, and I d rate him greater than 5/5 if I could. When my wife and I started investigating lawn care, organic treatment was top priority. David delivered. When we spoke, he said all the things I had in my mind that needed checked. From there it s been a great service for our lawn. David takes time to care about your lawn and whatever concerns or questions you have. He s stopped by my house to answer specific questions I have had. He s spoke with me on the phone for over an hour on my questions or concerns I ve had. He cares about your lawn, plain and simple.
