This review isn't about their services but while driving today we stopped for someone in a crosswalk and someone driving a Lawn Butler truck behind us laid on their horn while we were stopped for a pedestrian!!! BAD move in a company car.
These guys do a great job at watering their dirt and California Ave and a little bit of grass they have at there office, starting into November now and still running there sprinklers, way to be a lawn company helping people conserve water for important things.
This company mows the lawn of the junior high by my home where I go walking. I have now witnessed them mowing right over trash multiple times instead of picking it up. Even big aluminum cans. Kids go to that school and could easily get cut by this if wearing open toed shoes. Can’t you guys at least pick up the bigger items instead of shredding them up?
Lawn butler truck pulling trailer with 2 hispanics in the front seat traveling 60 MPH in the fast lane on I-15. If your employees arent competent enough to drive properly than how can we trust your employees to do their jobs properly? What kind of imbecile drives 60 MPH in the fast lane from bountiful all of the way to kaysville at 11:30 am?
Our community used Lawn Butler for snow removal and landscaping maintenance this past year. Overall, it was a fairly frustrating experience. The highlights: 1. In a light snow year, our snow removal costs doubled under Lawn Butler. 2. In one large December storm, we were charged for 17.5 tons (!) of salt for our 2 lane, 1 mile of roads. 3. Due to these high snow removal costs, our HOA board had to take money out of our reserve fund and increase our dues $11/mo for the next 3 years to pay it off. 4. Our landscaping services were delayed at the start of the season, because we were trying to figure out paying off the snow removal. But even one month after our invoices were paid, my lawn was still completely yellow (pictures attached). 5. Many of our lawns were very obviously not getting the necessary water, but Lawn Butler still was out edging and mowing the dead lawns regularly, instead of trying to figure out why the lawns looked so bad. 6. After many complaints from the community, the watering finally came back on regularly in mid- to late July, but they went to the other extreme of watering 6x/week, which was against the current city advice at the time and created other lawn problems. 7. Beyond having to make-up the cost of the exorbitant snow removal charges, we will also now need to figure out how to pay to fix some of the landscaping that is now permanently damaged.
Our apartment home community has used Lawn Butler for the first time this year. I have been so impressed with their service and attention to detail. Our main contact (Adrian) is fantastic with follow up and just his presence and willingness to help. I would highly recommend this company! Nancy
My experience with Lawn Butler was wonderful. They arrived ready to work and completed the project quickly and well. James did a great job of getting the plants I wanted and provided a color schematic of where they were to go. My only wish is that they had left the plant names with each plant, as it is difficult for me to follow the schematic for their actual placement. I would definitely refer Lawn Butler to my friends.
Lawn Butler has been an exceptional company to work with. James and Warren are professional, prompt to reply and the quality of work is excellent. The quotes are accurate and they finish the work on time, as scheduled. Our property has had large capital projects as well as monthly maintenance. The Ridge highly recommends this company!

Two guys coming out of 12th in Ogden this morning about caused two accidents before leaving the on ramp.
Driver wouldn t let me pass. Sped up when I d go in the right lane and slowed down when I was behind him. Do better.
Their driver could be more considerate. Drives in the fast lane going slow and then you try to go around him to go faster and then he speeds up, so you can t pass him going way over the speed limit. Makes me not ever want to use the company just because of the attitude.
I have read the comments about the drivers and they are very right, he asked me if they really have a drivers license, here is the proof of what they say, this photo was on Sunday at 11:20 at the Rancho Market on 3300, I think it was plate they should already know who is in charge of that truck, each driver should be more trained and respect the space for others, wherever they are.
We signed a snow removal service contract with Lawn Butler in November 2022. I talked to Adrian, and he was pleasant and professional. I was excited to use their service. The day before the expected snowstorm, I received an email from their project manager, Tyrel, and I found that very professional as well. There was heavy snow from the evening of 11/28 to the early morning of 11/29. I was expecting the property to be all nicely plowed in the morning. However, nothing was done on our property when we came to work. Our manager texted Tyrel and he admitted they had yet to be there. They finally showed up on 11/30. By then, the snow was starting to melt and they didnt have much to do. What surprised me the most is their invoice. On the invoice, it shows the following: 800 lb of salt for 11/30. 2 hours of truck service for 11/30. 500 lb of salt for 11/29. 1 hour of truck service for 11/29. 5% warranty for 11/29. We have several text messages from them to prove they had not shown up at all on 11/29. I called their accounting department about this and she said she would send me their time logs. Its been more than a week and I still have not receive the time logs. I followed up with her by email but there has not been any response. I texted Tyrel about it and he said he would provide it but he still has not provided it. Im just giving you all the facts. I cant personally recommend this company. They simply do not honor their word.

Not impressed with work at my complex. Im sure they do great work for individual homes, but at a complex its not great. They leave a mess everytime they cut grass and then I have to go back and clean up what they leave on my car and surrounding area.

Lawn Butler takes care of our shopping center where we lease a property for a business I go to work this morning beautiful sunny morning and they salted our parking lot very dishonest and no there was no frost on the ground Shawn Bailey

If I could give Rudy and his Lawn Butler team 10 stars, I would. We had them take out a bunch of overgrown bushes, transplant a couple and plant some new beautiful trees that we purchased from them. Fernando and his team never stopped working from the time they arrived and our yard was spotless when they left. My wife said, You would never know that they just ripped up all of those bushes and planted the new trees today! Well done - we will use them again!
Small venue, great location, large seats & aisles
I have a problem with the care of my complex. They have no care for flowers planted by residents and blow trash in bed. Dont pick up after blowing on driveway, it goes in the air then down. Needs better managers onsite. When trimming hedges they miss the middle. Just needs to watch what they do, I bet their yard looks better than the way my complex does.
The crews and the management at Lawn Butler are absolutely fantastic! After searching high and low for a company to bid a large landscaping project at my home, I found this fabulous company! They responded quickly and were very professional. James was our contact and he has been beyond helpful and communicates so fantastically that we always know he is doing everything he can to make our experience top notch. After completing our front yard this last fall, we are having them complete our back as well including decorative pavers and steps, along with new sprinklers and grass. Even though Lawn Butler was my low bid I was still over budget for what I was wanting to accomplish. James came out several times to help me figure out what we needed to get my project within budget. This was a smaller project and most contractors would have walked away from. My yard looks great, on time and on budget.

We are in the last couple of weeks of our home build and getting ready to move in. We decided to move forward with doing our landscaping while the interior of the home was being finished. We chose Lawn Butler as our landscape contractor and it was probably the best decision we made during this entire process. Carson has been exceptional! His communication and the execution of the project has been fantastic. And, the yard is amazing...he took our vision and made it a reality. Lawn Butler has been super awesome to work with. We are very picky about how we want things done but lawn butler and their account manager Mikeal have been very accommodating and their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.
I have been using Lawn Butler for the last two years for my commercial landscaping. Rudy, the owner of Lawn Butler, really takes the work of his company and employees seriously. We switch companies because we could never get the work done we need and when it was done our pervious landscaper over charged us for the work. From day one with Lawn Butler they have done what they said they would do. We were set up with an account manager I can reach anytime if I have a concern. They are always on top of our properties needs no matter if it is landscaping or snow removal. They are a great company to have looking over your property.
I am so happy to tell people about Rudy, and his company the Lawn Butler. This year our school wanted to participate in a National Reading incentive program called Battle of the Books, but we did not have enough funds. Rudy and Lawn Butler not only provided ALL of the $1,400 we needed for books but they had a special book case built complete with beautiful dragons hanging from the ceiling. They paid for the incentives, the t- shirts and prizes for a fun reading competition in the Spring. The students have been excited to read! I cant remember when I have seen so much activity in the library. I cant thank Rudy enough for his kindness and generosity. Whatever we needed, he was happy to give. I hired the lawn Butler 3 years ago for some simple yard work and was so impressed by the way everything was handled and at the professional way I was treated. In fact I was so impressed that I hired them for all my yard work needs and I can honestly say that no one else will ever touch my yard as long as The Lawn Butler is around!
