Manny and his team were absolutely amazing! They removed and stump grinded 3 trees for us in our side/back yard. They were professional, punctual, and quick! We will definitely be using them again in the future.

I was recommended to have them come & give us a quote to remove trees in my backyard. We met Manny on a Friday (7/31/20) he gave us a phenomenal quote we planned on using them no doubt. Then the tropical storm hit on 8/4/20 4 days later and a Brookhaven Town tree fell on our house. The town giving us the runaround I immediately called Dan. M&D was at our house within 24 hours of the tree falling. Their response time was better than the Town & PSEG no doubt. But their prices are unbeatable. They're respectful & show up. A project that we have been thinking about doing for a while now finally came to fruition this weekend. From the minute we met Dan, we knew that we made a great decision. From our ideas and changes to his patience and final design, magic! The crew came in yesterday morning and transformed our front yard with 3 trees, replanted our flower beds and fixed our front walkway. The backyard is getting a new healthy lawn and the pool area which is not pictured yet, received a face lift. I’ve been using M&D for about 3 years. Dan and his guys do a great job every time they show up to my house. I have used them for fall cleans up, aerations, sprinklers and regular weekly service. A friend from work recommended Dan, and I have since referred him to many other friends and family who now use his services. Unlike my previous landscaper, Dan (the owner) works alongside his guys, so communication and scheduling are a breeze. Oh...and the pricing 👍👍.

We’ve had MD unique for almost a year, today the worst possible thing happened, one of dan’s crew, Manny (owner’s brother), stole cash from our house. He went up to our 2nd floor without permission, checked every room, went through our drawers and checked closets. All while telling my wife he is “turning off the sprinkler”. We found out after he left the house and leaving dirty foot prints all over the 2nd floor, he searched and went through every room. When we confronted him, he first lied about not entering the house, then after we told him he was caught on camera, he lied again and said my wife told him to go. First of all, any body with a working brain should know there is nothing about sprinklers in the master bedroom, Second of all, he went in without permission, and went through our private stuff. Also, after the incident, we got news from the gated community that they have done this before, but stopped after receiving complaints. Avoid at all cost. Yea and of course we called the police, but they won’t arrest him after him admitting to entering our house, he got away with lying about getting permission from my wife and the fact that he has worked on the house for almost a year. Update: after speaking with several neighbors, Dan and his crew have been stealing not once, but multiple times prior. This goes as far as three years ago when another neighbor in the club called police on them for stealing cash. These culprits pick their targets and only mess with people who seem weak and vulnerable, all while maintaining a good guy facade to fool people into trusting them. The owner is well aware of these stealing issues, but acts innocent about not knowing these things are tries to down play everything, when the culprit is actually his OWN brother, hence the company name M&D, Manny and Dan. We actually confronted Dan about this as well, he lied as well about not knowing the previous breakins and thefts in the gated community.

Dan and his crew are top notch. Such a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. They planted numerous arborvitaes and trees. I'm very satisfied in their work and vision. Look no further than M&D Unique Landscaping!
