I ve been with SavATree for three years. This company started okay and is now terrible. I ve had two treatments scheduled for this week and neither happened. Both treatments should have been scheduled for early to mid June. It s the first of July. They simply didn t show up - no call. I m looking for a new provider! They are over committed and under performing.

I looked up services for tree removal through Angi and SavATree has called several times a day since then, and eventually set an appointment without my consent or approval to have an arborist come to my house to review. They set an online appointment that i cannot cancel, and have sent people now to my house without even talking to me first. They will never receive my business with this practice...I did not consent to an appointment nor did I consent to a home visit. **Update** a further thing to consider is this company s response to my review. They claim they called and spoke to my husband to cancel; but they did not know his name or have his phone number, nor did my husband receive a phone call. You can be the judge, but I don t think it s ok to misdirect a bad review.** We had a confirmed appointment with Savatree arborist Kyle. I waited for him to show and after it was half an hour late, I called to find out why. I had to be called back and was told that Kyle was not coming bc he had lots of storm damage calls he would rather handle. (Even though we were also in the storm and HAD a standing appointment.) No call, no respect for my time. I waited a few weeks for this appointment and am now back at square one. Based on this, I question reliability, trustworthiness, and quality. Heed the other 1-Star ratings, I wish I would have.

Sadly our very large pine tree had to go - it was leaning towards our bedroom and was on a hill. It was a huge challenge due to being on our property where no equipment could travel; so it was taken out the old fashioned way. True grit and a lot of hard work by a team from SavATree. The team was professional beyond with care to our home, the deck and even putting back the planters in the exact place. More than that however, they worked through this huge problem with a solution that frankly saved our life. It was a big deal and SavATree saved us. Thank you guys, we know it wasnt easy!

The old occupants of our house left a stump in our front lawn and since we needed to remove one of our old pines, we decided to do the whole shebang and plant another in its place. They did a great job pruning a very high cottonwood with some rope work for us. They also recently braced our trees in front which kept them from splitting due to the recent snows.

We live on five largely flat, mostly treeless acres. We have two good-sized Ponderosa pines in front of our house, and one smaller one to the side of our house. Other than that, its hot and flat and basically Mars out here. We were VERY concerned when we saw all three trees develop spreading patches of brown needles over the winter of 2020/2021. I called SavATree. I had a couple of family emergencies and had to reschedule our initial appointment a couple of times, and they were totally polite and professional about it. When Greg came out and looked at the trees, I was very relieved to hear that they didnt have any pests, but they were really stressed because of our drought. We went with SavATrees recommendations and monthly deep watering, and so far theyve been out to care for our trees a couple of times. We now have multiple branches with several inches of completely dead, brown needles...with brand new, green growth at the ends of the branches! We could not be more delighted! In the course of the 25 years weve lived in this house, weve had seasons where there were SOME brown needles on the trees, and not a whole lot of growth in the spring. But the brown patches we were seeing over this past winter were something we hadnt seen before, and seemed really alarming. There are SO many Ponderosa pines in our area that are more brown than green, and we didnt want our grand old ladies to end up like that. Were so pleased with how its going!

I have been a SavATree customer for nearly 10 years. Earlier this week, I received an email indicating that their crew was planning to come by my house for a mid-summer irrigation check, which I have NEVER ordered or received in all my years of being a client. I called the office and politely told the woman that answered the phone that I am not in need of a mid-summer check. She responded by telling me that she was going to cancel my entire irrigation service, which includes winterization / activation and that SavATree doesn t want me as a customer if I m not willing to pay for the mid-summer check. Seriously? If forcing people to buy services that they don t need just to make an extra buck is the way you guys do business, then I don t want anything to do with your company anymore. There are plenty of other reputable landscaping businesses in the area that are honest and don t treat their clients like dirt.

We have been working with Greg LaCasse for a number of years now. He and the SavATree team have taken care of our lawn, landscaping and trees. Greg has done a phenomenal job in responding quickly and recommending the appropriate actions when needed. If I did not have someone looking after the lawn, landscaping and trees - it just would not get done given my busy schedule. Greg has been and will continue to be our go to guy for this service.

This company has a great arborist who is helpful and knowledgeable. However, the customer service part of the business is incapable of helping customers with their services. I have never had such a disappointing and negative experience with a company before. Think before you become involved with this company.

Be careful, this company is tricky. The arborist recommended our landscaper do lots of preliminary prep work, which he did and we paid for, but then the arborist said it wasn t good enough and did it again. So we paid twice. It s already super expensive. They refused to subtract the prep work from the bill, plus they added late fees while they decided what to do . Poorly run and managed company.

Poor inter-company communication and deceptive Terms and Conditions. Beware. Had them trim a huge maple tree in my backyard. Wanted to maintain privacy so we stressed that no more then 20% be taken off. They proceeded to trim off more like 25% which was bordering on too much. Afterwards I noticed damage to some of my bigger limbs which were blamed on squirrel damage. Then i noticed that a few branches fell down from the tree, luckily my young kids werent playing under the tree at the time. My neighbor mentioned that the crew was also very rude to their kids in their backyard while the work was performed. I wondered why they didnt contact me back asking about my satisfaction. Found out that its their policy to not contact customers afterwards which I find extremely odd. I mentioned my concerns and they sent out a different person to look over the tree. That person admitted that the previous crew did not prune correctly and that some adjustments were needed. Thinking that the adjustments would be minor, we agreed only to see the new crew showing up unannounced and cutting off another 10-15%. The new crew never talked to the previous crew about our requirements, they just started hacking. Now my tree is greatly pruned and we have no privacy from our neighbors anymore which we highly prized from this huge tree. I complained to Charley, the Arborist and to Kelia at the office that I was extremely not impressed with the work done and that I shouldnt be required to pay the rest of the fee. Didnt matter, their T&Cs have catches that get them out of any disputes. So now Im forced to pay regardless of my satisfaction. Never doing business with this company again.

Hired save a tree to do a liner miner service on our large elm tree. The work was done quickly and efficiently without any issues on our busy street in downtown Littleton. Will happily hire again and reccomend to friends and family.

These guys are terrible. Over priced and non responsive once they have your money. I have had a lopsided tree since last fall and they wont come fix it!!! DO NOT USE THEM

SavATree has taken such great care with my trees, lawn and landscape. I have a silver maple tree that an independent arborist recommended I have removed. I asked Michael at SavATree for a 2nd opinion and was so glad I did. He told me the tree still has a lot of life left, and all it needed was some careful pruning to keep from losing more good-sized branches. SavATrees services were a fraction of the cost of removing the tree. Its flourishing two years later! They fertilize, aerate and spray my grass for grubs, installed new mulch and I just had them plant a new red maple tree this week. Always on time, always professional, excellent work! I cant recommend them enough!

The crew (2 guys) came out and did some tree work for us and removed a dead aspen tree. The guys who came were on time, professional and communicated well. They asked me some questions while offering their advice, which was appreciated. I have been more than impressed with the estimator (Tyler), the office people and the crew as well as the work they did for the price! They cleaned up even more than they needed to as well. We will use them again when needed!

Weve accumulated lots of trees and lilacs over the past 20 years and finally decided to trim and remove the dead ones. We were very happy with our initial consultation with the arborist, Kyle Elliot, when researching the work to be done and with the crew that did the work. They worked closely with me and were very knowledgeable. We use SavATree for all of our yardwork including fertilization, irrigation and trees/shrubs. We highly recommend this company.

It was great working with Greg LaCasse (Arborist). He addressed all of my concerns/questions and helped develop a plan of action for my project. Alex(Arborist Assistant) clearly communicated the order and time line on the necessary process to complete my project. The Two Man team arrived as scheduled to complete the task. They did an EXCELLENT job. They were very professional and cleaned up all the debris from the trees that were extremely overgrown. Overall the service and experience was excellent.

We have been very satisfied with our tree work our arborist Michael Guenther and the rest of the team was prompt, professional and friendly. They were responsive about us wanting to be good neighbors so they cleared debris quickly, and they cleaned up well. They protected windows where the tree work was close to the house. They alerted us to having gutters full of pine needles since they could see from the treetops. Michael Guenther at the Centennial Sav-A-Tree came out to quote me on some tree pruning and I couldnt have been more impressed with the level of service and professionalism I received. I have two small trees on my property and had no idea what either of them were (I inherited them with the house), and over time they have grown a bit wild and out of control. Michael arrived exactly when he said he would, identified the trees without me asking, told me they had suffered some frost damage this winter and that summer was the absolute worst time to prune them. The company was planning to be in my neighborhood for other work the following week and it would have been easy to roll my job into that one, so I was beyond impressed with Michaels integrity when he let me know it wasnt best for my situation. I highly recommend calling MIchael at Sav-A-Tree and having him come out and assess your landscaping needs. You wont be disappointed.

We have dealt with Michael Guenther at SavATree for the planning and planting of our beds around our home and were very impressed with the planning and the quality of the plants that were installed. We had a couple of the plants die after the first winter and Michael made sure that they were replaced promptly with the same high quality product as the initial plantings. In addition we were given proper watering guidelines for the newly installed plants. Our HOA recently used Michael and SavATree to trim the trees on our boulevard and they did and excellent job. The trees were trimmed to the proper heigh and nicely shaped when they were done.

SavATree trimmed three trees. Two turned out OK. As for the third, within four months of the trimming provided, tree limbs are rubbing on the roof of the house and hitting the top of our SUV in the driveway. The company refused to return and tidy up the shabby trimming job--unless I paid them again for the job I had already paid them to perform. Im very disappointed, and I definitely will not be using SaveATree again. Shame on me for only now looking at the reviews. I understand why they are so low. Its true--buyer beware--especially with DaveATree..

I used SavATree last year for tree feeding and Borer Ash treatments. After reading the reviews, I wasnt planning on using them again this year, but they sent me Tyler who completely changed my mind about this company. Ive signed up for 2021, including pruning my beloved Ash. Tyler is so professional, he listened to me and responded accordingly, hes very professional and cares about the health of my trees. Ill update this after services are performed, but so far, Im very impressed!

I hired Savatree (formally Swingle) to remove a large pine tree from my yard. While I am happy to have the tree gone, Im not very happy with how the yard was left. There are chips of wood everywhere, a shepherd hook is bent and looks like they maybe dropped a log on it and tried to straighten it. A branch of juniper is snapped off and I thought they had left their broken rake in my yard, but I went out to start cleaning this morning and realized it was my own rake that their men had broken. There is also a large divot in my yard. I complained to them and someone came out right away, agreed that my yard had been left a mess and replaced my rake. I was told they would sent the same men out to clean up. They did come, but brought a nasty attitude with them and told me they didnt clean up because there was pet waste in my yard. I was told they would rake only with a minimal amount of waste (what ever that means), no mention of my broken rake, the shepherd hook or hole in my yard, and I told them to leave. The people in the office are very nice, but the young man that that came to my door was very arrogant and rude. I will not be using their service again.

Took over 3 weeks for Charley to show up to my property! Scheduled an appointment for 2:30 and he showed up early and left his card. No one called or seemed to care that they left before agreed upon appointment. Would not recommend them.

On October 9th, Alex Welch of SavATree came to my home to perform the 5th Integrated Lawn application on my lawn. I requested that Alex advise me on several brown spots that have developed in my lawn, and indicated that I was concerned about Japanese Beetle grubs. Alex carefully examined every brown spot and explained to me what he was looking for and provided a very clear explanation of his findings. He then recommended several corrective measures which I will implement. Alex was very professional and courteous.
