Weed Man Lawn Care in Centennial

We agreed to three treatments per year and received constant calls and text messages insisting we needed further treatments. You are signing up for incessant communication when you contract with them. The last call I took with their sales person, I finally had to hang up on her after telling her FIVE TIMES I did not want their $400 aeration services. We were just informed we are being sent to collections for a service we never authorized. Update: To this companys credit I was contacted by a senior member of the organization and did receive an apology for our experience with them. They removed us from collections and we agreed that they are not a good fit for us. I changed my rating from one star to three based on that interaction.

WM did a nice job with fertilizer and weed control. Plus, they people who came out to do the work had some good advice about lawn care.

Came banging on my door to solicit in December with snow on the ground. Lol.

After 9 years in our present home - and with a lawn that sometimes looked OK but frequently looked like it needed a lot of work - we decided to try a new lawn care/weed control company this year, Weed Man Lawn Care. The fertilizer treatment they put on the lawn earlier this summer made the grass fuller, thicker and greener than it has ever been in the entire time we have owned this home. And the weed control has been outstanding as well. In addition, when we returned home after the last treatment on trash-collection day we found that the tech had brought up our trash and recycling bins from the street.This was WAY above and beyond and we certainly appreciate it! So thanks again for everything. We couldn t have asked for a better experience.

Weedman has been taking care of my lawn for many years now. My main concern when I hired them was to control the crabgrass that was taking over my front yard. They have been using a pre-emergent which seems to do the trick. They fertilize and put down weed control and have had a nice green yard and no weeds.

I have always been happy with Weed Man and it is the little things that make a big difference. They were to the house Monday morning after there was an Amazon delivery. I could see on the Ring that the Amazon driver had just left the box on the first step out for everyone to see. The Weed Man employee didnt just step over it, he grabbed it and set it more out of sight next to the front door. It looked like he did this without even thinking about it. Not only does my lawn look great, but there are decent folks doing the job. Will be renewing next year for sure!

Weed Man took care of our lawns over the last year. Jacob was sincere about his job and helped maintain the lawns well.

They rang my doorbell in no solicitation sub. I ignored because I was on a work call. They kept ringing the doorbell, so I had to come to the door and tell them they are disrupting my work call, and this is a no solicitation sub they cannot BE here. They proceeded to keep going door to door. Its one thing to knock doors in a sub that doesnt want door to door people (I can simply ignore them). It is another thing to knock/ring more than once. Let people ignore you if they want to. So sick of companies that FORCE you to talk to their salesman.

They performed the services as agreed. No complaints from me. Unfortunately my lawn did not respond as I hoped, but i did not start their service early enough in the season.

I hired Weedman to fertilize my lawn and deal with an infestation of thistle. The thistle is very difficult to kill but Weedman comes out to spray them again without cost to me. Their employees are all very polite and discuss what they are going to do before they begin work. I recommend them if you have a weed problem.

We ve been using weed man for a few years now. They have been great in their communication and billing. They have also come out when we needed spot control, as we live next to a yard just overrun with weeds. In spite of that next-door neighbor, they have managed to keep occurrences at an absolute minimum. Our field tech is wonderful! Super grateful!

FINAL UPDATE as we will not be using this company again. The manager I spoke to had told me that Weedman would come out and spray for the weeds and then do a FREE follow up the next week and this was to continue until the weeds were taken care of. I received one paid treatment, one free treatment, one paid treatment and THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE NEXT TREATMENT! Then, Weedman failed to follow up and continue service. When I called to cancel, I was given the big sales push that I needed to continue in order to get results. WEEDMAN AGAIN STOPPED SHOWING UP and this is MY fault?? I asked to be refunded for the visit that was supposed to be free and was denied. I as told that since I had made the arrangements with a different manager, they would be having him take over to remedy the situation. I was promised that the message was being sent to him in real time and that he would call me that day. It has now been over a month and he hasn t called. The weeds did not go away. I went back to my old, natural and safe method, and it worked amazingly well. My weeds were gone in a few days. Here is what I use: 1 gallon white vinegar 1 cup salt 1 TBLS. Dawn dish soap Put it in a garden sprayer and douse the areas (not lawn, it will kill the lawn). Repeat every few days and then back off to maintenance. I mix up several batches at a time. Safe for kids and animals and IT WORKS! I WANT A REFUND FOR ALL THE MONEY THEY TOOK FROM ME! *UPDATE* After writing this review I was contacted by a manager who apologized profusely and went beyond to have me give Weedman and second chance. They have done 2 applications and we are starting to see some weeds beginning to die. I will continue through this season and update this review as the season continues. I am very impressed with the customer service I am receiving now. I used this service for a couple seasons and followed their recommended schedule. We saw some results the first couple of treatments, but then no results in follow up treatments. I followed the schedule that was recommended by the company. The technician always told us to call after 14 days if we needed a free re-treat. When I called, I was told that I needed to call within 7 days. This happened multiple times. I sent in pictures multiple times showing the vast amount of weeds 14 days after treatment and was told I would need to pay for an additional treatment. I repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor and was told multiple times that one would call. I never received a call back. I just received a call from Weed man wanting to schedule me to start up again and explained the reason I was not continuing service and I was told it was MY FAULT! I should have had more applications. I followed to schedule the told me too! I stated that I should have gotten the re-treatments as was in the contract (which were denied unless I paid more) and she said I should have had them free. I was then offered a 25% discount to start a new contract. Why would I pay more for ZERO results? Weed Man did not follow the terms of the contract at all. Very poor customer service. Refusal to allow me to speak to a supervisor. Refusal of re-treatment even though it was in my contract. Refusal of refund since we had ZERO results. I do not normally write negative reviews, however, this last call claiming the lack of results was MY FAULT was over the top. I DO NOT recommend this company.

We were getting eaten up in the early summer and they disappeared after the first treatment. Super important once WestNile started showing up in our area. Very reasonably priced too!

My biggest complaint is that the company only sells packages of 6 applications per summer. I signed up after the first application had already been done, so they ended up spraying a week apart so they could get their money for all 6 applications. A week in between applications is not enough time for any weeds to sprout back, so it was totally a waste of money. They should have completed and only charged me for 5 applications.

Thomas has been a huge help to us this summer as we sought to take care of my elderly father s home when he went into assisted living. He gave us professional advice and helped us manage the huge yard that was suddenly ours to take care of. We appreciate his friendliness and his consistent and excellent work ethic. We will work with Weed Man Lawn Care again!

We could not be happier with Shawn at The Weed Man. We moved into a new house early spring in early spring and our yards were a mess. Shawn came out and all our worries were gone in one application. Shawn continued to come out monthly over the summer and just yesterday. He always comes to the door to say hello and to make sure our dog was in doors. He informs me on the changing of seasons and the needs for our grass. Now The Weed Man will be out at the end of October to aerate the lawn. I look forward to having Shawn back in spring to take care of our yards. The neighbors loved what they saw with our green grass and have jumped on board also. We are very happy with the service we get from Weed Man. This time, as usual, we were notified when the tech would be at our house and he arrived as scheduled and was professional and polite. We have a large yard on a fairly steep slope and he sprayed the whole lawn. He let me know when he had completed the application and reminded me to keep kids off the lawn for an hour. Our lawn has been weed free and healthy all summer. Well sign up again next year.

Truthfully, I never wanted to hire any lawn care service. I thought they were a waste of money and I could take care of my lawn on my own. After battling with those spiky weeds - the kind you cant pull out with your hands - for almost 2 full seasons, I relented and called Weed Man. At this point, they had taken over our side yard. There was no grass left, only those weeds, in that area. Our front yard had an egregious amount of them as well, so we had to avoid walking on the grass and we couldnt let the dogs around it either. We started working with Weed Man halfway through this summer, and I cannot believe how much of a difference theyve made in a short amount of time. I am kicking myself for not starting this sooner. People have complimented our yard for the first time since we bought the house! Its incredible. I really appreciate the work they do. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good about Weed Man. I contacted them earlier this year due the weed issues that I have had in my yard for years. I cannot express enough how frustrating these weeds were. Anything from thistle, dandelions, clover to stubborn weeds like curly dock. I tried treating these for several years on my own and could not make good progress on it. I tried weed and feed, spot control everything. In just a few treatments on my yard, the weeds are absolutely gone. My yard looks better than it ever has. I highly recommend them. I wasn t going to go with a lawn care service this year, but decided to give Weed Man a try after running into their sales folks and chatting with them. Great service. Very reasonable in price, and they don t overdo the services; just the right amounts when needed. And I feel like they actually understand lawn care and the local problems that pop up. Ive used Weed Man Lawn Care for two or three summers now and my lawn has been looking healthy and weed free the whole time. I only use their grass program, but they have other services for those that need them. I do appreciate how they text a day prior to service and then visit us each time to let us know what theyre doing and to answer any questions. No complaints.

Jacob has been great to work with. The jungle of weeds that would come back every year are now long gone! He s paid special attention to anything that we are purposefully growing (flowers, pumpkins) so that they aren t affected and always leaves a sign and lets us know when he s working so that we know not to walk the dog for an hour. My lawn looks great and bery economical

Shawn is the best! He is the one that showed up on my doorstep in the spring as a salesman, but more importantly indicated he would also be the person doing the applications. This is my first year using the service and my lawn hasn t looked this good in 20 years! Partway through the season, Shawn identified a fungus in my grass and told me how to get rid of it just by changing my watering cycles. Their service has been invaluable, and I can t imagine how much better my lawn will look next year.
