Pristine Landscaping & Lighting in Celina

My concrete driveway that was poured in December 2024 has cracked the entire width and the cracked is a tripping hazard. I have called several online numbers and the same response that there is no response. I have emailed. No response. I have texted the original thread, no response.

Lousy description of anchoring retaining wall blocks. I wasted time reading and expecting to get informed. I would never use a contractor who ref/uses to educate the customer. Oh, I only discuss the real details with people who commit to an estimate click bate is unprofessional.

He was very pushy, had a horrible attitude when I did not accept his over priced quote. Literally told me I m a waste of time PLEASE don t use this guy!!

I could select 0 star if there was an option. Very poor customer service, no business integrity where the company doesnt honor and respond to customer request. Responsive only before a service request was submitted during the inquiry process. Pushy business.

Spoke with Josh many times with all my ideas and thoughts, he helped build out a plan and gave me the most beneficial route to insure my ideas were met but also kept things within my budget and talked me through the process of everything that went on. He was fast to reply back and kept me up to date on things that were happening too. Weather was rough at times and made it hard to work, but he made sure every hour was used wisely and his workers were top notch! Highly recommend him and his team and if you have anything he can t do he will send you to the right people to take care of the job!! World class and top rated!!

Josh Koehn and his crew provided us with spring maintenance and flower beds refresh in anticipation of putting our home up for sale. We are very satisfied with their work and the quality of materials that were used. In spite of how expensive everything is we felt his pricing is fair and we were informed up front of certain materials like stone that are running higher than previous years. Josh communicates well and has a large list of referrals. We were able to find someone who does fence repair. Thank you Josh and your whole crew. Everyone was kind and respectful!

Pristine Landscaping & Lighting installed French drains and flower beds in our front yard, along the entire side of our hose, and drainage rocks in our backyard to fix runoff problems we ve been having on our property. Our experience may differ from yours and I am only sharing all this detail as I do believe reviews are most helpful when they say more than just great customer service or easy to do business with . The finished project looks great the team that came out and did the work was very respectful of our property and, Brent, their crew leader even went and bought a replacement shrub and planted it himself after one of our original ones was damaged during the project. These things happen sometimes and the way that Brent took responsibility for the fix was very nice to see. When we were quoted the project, we were also advised that they were about 2 3 weeks out from starting our project. This was on a Monday (2/12/2024) and we were not in a rush to get the work done so we agreed, paid our deposit (on 2/13) and were pleasantly surprised when we received a call on Wednesday of that same week (2/14) saying that they could start on Friday (2/16) of that same week. They didn t come over to start the job until Monday, 2/19 as they were delayed unexpectedly at another job. This is not problematic, because again, from our perspective we re still 2 3 weeks ahead of schedule, but more proactive communication about the status of the work and when the team would be on our property would have been ideal. Once they started working, the estimate for the job to be completed was 4 5 days. From the day they started the work to the day we did our actual final walkthrough, was 10 business days, again, likely because the team is working at multiple job sites and have parts of the project that can be done at different times. This is purely my guess because I don t pretend to understand the ins and out of landscaping projects and is why we hire professional companies like Pristine Landscaping & Lighting in the first place. There were 2 days where no one came by at all and I know this because I worked from home on those days expecting the team to be on site. Again, and I can t stress this enough, we were not in a hurry, so this was not a problem for us. I m only sharing this for others to consider as they make their plans - the finished product looks great, we are happy with the work that was done, the team doing the actual work was very friendly and respectful (even when they accidently cut our internet line and we were without Wi-Fi for 1.5 days again, these things happen). Overall, what I learned from this project was always ensure that your utility lines are marked before the team begins the project and consider that the project duration estimate is truly an estimate; if you re in a hurry then you need to communicate that up front to the company and you need to communicate throughout the project if you have concerns. Every time I sent a text to ask a question or check on progress, I received a quick response, but I did have to initiate progress checks. I am giving Pristine Landscaping & Lighting a 4.5-star review because there is always room to improve and, in my case, managing the client s expectations is where they have an opportunity to set themselves apart from their competition. As Google reviews doesn t do half-stars and I do know that 4.5 rounds up to 5, I m selecting 5 stars but if you read this review, then you re probably like me and appreciate nuance and detail. Joshua has a refreshingly creative approach, and their communication is over the top. Highly recommended.

We had some outdoor upgrades that needed to be done to the front of our house and the pristine group sure did a pristine job! They also added upward lighting that is hard wired and will probably last at least 20 years (heavy duty light). Very pleased with plant upgrades and mulching choice. They utilize this awesome app that takes a picture of your front lawn and helps you pick what you like best versus just guessing. Definitely made or decision making super easy.

Josh and his team did a phenomenal job with our backyard landscaping! We have used them on two different occasions. They were very punctual and professional. We were a little skeptical because we have been burned in the past by contractors, but he exceeded all expectations. The second time out to the house, they were doing additional work on our pool landscaping but also honoring warranty trees that were planted in the fall. Top notch business and individual.

Hired Pristine for our landscaping job after we finished our pool build (sod, flowerbeds, rock) They did a great job on our project and I would recommend using them. Trevor led the crew working on our yard and made sure it was completed correctly and in a pretty timely manner.

Pristine Landscape and Lighting constructed new patio, rock beds and water drainage system. Super Team that are kind, respectful and caring. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them and highly recommend them. Give them an opportunity and they will make sure you get your money s worth!

I only hired them for biweekly lawn services .... horrible communication they do not listen & do the worst quality job Ive ever had.. especially for the price. Do a horrible job cutting grass even the first day its mowed does not look fresh at all & also will come later than scheduled, bc they refuse to cut the grass short or edge like promised hoa gives warnings & theyll come later than scheduled just to try to get me to pay 50 weekly which is ridiculous especially for their quality maybe for other services they are good but not lawn mowing in my experience

My wife and I both work nights, we have a 9 x 9 no solicitor, no sales sign on our door for this reason. Yet this companies employees insist on shoving needles quotes in our front door that ends up in the trash. 1- it s wasteful 2- it s disrespectful . Thanks for waking us up after our first shift.

Brent with Pristine Landscaping & Lighting and his crew did a great job painting my house and fence, installing a pergola, patio, concrete, plants, and just generally transforming my house into what it is today. He has went above and beyond to make sure my satisfaction has been met, even after the project was completed.

Josh was professional and the crew who did our retaining wall did a great job. We were very pleased.

We needed new sod on our front lawn. In the past, weve used other companies that did no prep work to lay the new sod to. I asked the simple question, what kind of prep work will you do? He layed it out very simply, and the guys did exactly that. If you want to work with a professional, go with these guys. Many people will say they know how to do the work, but these guys are craftsmen. Thanks for the great work on our home!

Going by the reviews, I reached out to them to setup an appointment - while Josh did send a message and asked for a time, he never bothered to get back and never returned my calls/messages either. Appears they are not interested in earning new business Edit: Josh did reach out (after a couple of follow ups) and was transparent in his communication. No response led to the above review but I have edited the review because of his straightforward approach.

Needed an area of our yard leveled for an above ground pool. After working with Josh and looking over some ideas, the area can also be used during the fall/winter as a firepit/entertaining area!! Joshs team is great, friendly, and very professional. I highly recommend Josh and his team for your landscaping projects.

Very solid work. Exactly what I envisioned for my final product. They helped walk me though each step of the way. Taught me the how and why of each part of the process. We re available off hours for my questions and concerns. If there was a concern they immediately were able to address. My aggregate sidewalk made a huge improvement to my home, giving us access to my side and back yard. They were even able to design irrigation to remove water pooling in low areas that will now stay dry. Beautifully done and the teams that were sent out where nothing but professional and left no mess. They went above an beyond my expectations. Great an professional work.

They really transformed my ugly landscaping into something really appealing. The price was very reasonable and the service was great. They quickly responded to all my emails and inquiries. They gladly came out a few times to make sure everything was done according to my expectations. I highly recommend.

I have had a problem with landscaping companies not wanting to work on my yard because of its small size. Joshua and company were responsive, listened to what I wanted and delivered better than what I expected! I now have beautiful flowers over what used to be an eye sore, and a new tree to enjoy. I am editing my review You can see the original below. After a few months with the landscaping I would say buyer beware. When they installed my landscaping last February they assured me all the freezers were over. We proceeded to get two more freezes. I did everything he told me to do to try to protect the plants but several perished. He was very reluctant to change them out because he said the work was not guaranteed in any way. When I held him accountable for what he said about the freezes surely being over and my trusting him to go ahead and do the work, he came back and took out only the worst of the shrubs and left several and said that they would be fine. They were not. Now I have a front lawn full of spindly and or dead plants. There were also issues with the sodding that they did (my entire backyard) where I needed them to come back out and uncover things that they accidentally covered (I think it s called a sump pump?) And each time I needed to call them they were very reluctant to tend to the work that they had done, slow to answer, slow to help if at all. My entire back lawn is also almost dead. I have sprinklers and everything was well watered, my front lawn which was not touched by the landscapers has flourished and looks great so it s not that I am under-watering during the drought. They just planted too soon and left me with a bunch of dead frozen shrubs and landscaping. No money back and very little replacement. Over $5000 later I m not sure I got even half my moneys worth. I m updating my review so that you can be more careful if you choose to use this company Just make sure you know what you re getting and what you can expect for customer service. Original review below. My lawn went from a total mess to beautifully manicured at a fair price and in record time. Sodded, landscaped, and a yard I can now be proud of. I didnt have a lot of knowledge or strong opinions on landscaping, just a general idea of what I like and don t like, so let them lead the way and I love the choices they made. Looks great!

Josh did a fantastic job on our landscape project. We had to take out much of the overgrown and storm-damaged plants and repair the stonework flowerbed. It was a big job and Josh worked with us on design, planning and extra components we added in to final design. We are very pleased with the quality of work and the workers that completed everything. Our yard looks amazing and we will work with Josh on additional projects later in the fall.

We had our whole backyard transformed with a patio ( the stamped concrete was perfect), new flower bed in the rear, upgraded flower beds in the front, and new walkway from the Gate door to the patio. They were fast, reliable and honest. Would recommend there work to anyone.

The service of Pristine Landscape and Lighting was Superb! The response to my request for a bid was practically immediate. The owner himself showed up within 48 hours to bid the project. The owner was professional and inspected the job site. The bid was fair and was accepted. The office called to schedule, and was able to begin the following week. The workers arrived early, did professional work, and to my amazement, completed the job in one day - including cleaning up the job site very nicely. To say that my wife and I are pleased would be an understatement. We wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone looking for Quality workmanship at a fair price.

I had a wonderful experience with Pristine Landscaping!! Josh was prompt and responsive with the entire project. His well spoken crew is professional and very easy to work with on all the details. This included explaining the stain procedure they used on the stamped concrete. The crew took out the old sidewalk and removed all the concrete for us.
