I will be sharing individual letters of appreciation for the primary landscapers who did such a wonderfully masterful job on my very complex stormwater management and landscaping task. This is just an overall appreciation for the great design work of Tyler Solsma, the excellent all-around leadership of Shawn Flanders, the quick study and exceptionally hard work of Tim Knock in his first big landscaping job, and the great teamwork of Caleb DeKoster as he came on toward the end, together with all the rest of the team who pitched in on the particularly labor intensive parts. My neighbors are delighted at the boost your beautiful work has brought to the curb appeal of the whole neighborhood :-) And I can now rest easily in extreme storms to know that the stormwater will stay in the ground and not in my house nor running straight off to contaminate the Middle Cedar Watershed! Everyone on the team is such a hard worker and professional in every way, with an exceptional attention to detail that creates results to be proud of! I can’t wait for Phase 2 in the spring when we make some more pollinator-friendly plantings!

I would not bother calling Wapsie Pines! Very disappointed with their lack of returning calls. Called twice 2 weeks ago about a patio repair issue and have not heard back. Now going with another company. So sad...they used to be a good company 10 years ago.

2 years passed since we signed a bid for work to be done. After numerous attempts to contact them this year and last we ended up cancelling the job. Never heard back from them to get the job scheduled and they strung us along this whole time. Lack of communication and follow through were very disappointing.

Called them a week ago to come out and look at a tree. Still have not heard back from them. Called on June 7 at 1:53. I don't remember who I spoke to, but she said a Joshua (or Jacob?) Would get back to me by end of week.

Really nice guys. Quick unload. This place is in the sticks. Have your tandems all the way forward to take the tight turn off the gravel road.

So sad. I really wanted to do business with them. In 2019, I asked for a design and quote for a job first thing the following spring. I never got it after having met with the designer and repeatedly following up. Again, I called in Spring of 2020 and met with the designer again and was promised a plan within two weeks. Weeks rolled into months and I never got a plan. I spent my money elsewhere. Despite being ready to forgive the first mistake and keep moving along.

never return calls Yes, you have received calls from me, just have never returned them. Last was Mid April this year, left a message I was looking for some landscaping and ongoing maintenance. Tried to call you last season as well, about the same, never heard back. Before that, was about five years ago, was looking to buy some trees from you.

Autumn Dodd and the staff at Wapsie Pines designed and planted a beautiful array of native Iowa plants and wildflowers for us last year. The service was first class and the work was performed on time and without a hitch. A few of the plantings did not survive the winter and we were contacted in early spring to make sure that new replacement plants were substituted under the warranty. Great job!!
